One Hearth's Warming Eve Twilight was silently walking through the town as it was snowing due to the Pegasus ponies being hard at work. She watched the town as it was covered beautifully in snow. She saw her friend Pinkie outside so she went over to her. She hugged her and Pinkie hugged her back.
"Happy Hearth's Warming Eve!" Twilight told her rambunctious friend. Pinkie giggled as she hugged her and heard that. She happily responded to her friend Twilight as she was glad Twilight went to see her. She sighed as she was happy her friend was there. Twilight smiled. She was glad to see her friend Pinkie. The weather wasn't going to stop her. The weather wasn't going to stop Pinkie from seeing Twilight either.
"Thanks Twilight!" Pinkie stated giggling. Pinkie let go of the hug and went back over to her fort. Twilight rolled her eyes while smiling and went into her house. As she closed her door. They both walked through the town as Pinkie talked in excitement about what gifts she was getting and what Twilight was doing.
Twilight and Pinkie bought reefs for that day and also went to a candy shop where they were bought Hearths Warming Eve inspired candy. Twilight followed Pinkie gladly through town as she enjoyed every moment with her friend. It was really cold but they had coats on so that didn't matter. It was good for their health to take walks anyway so they weren't going to stop just because of snow or the temperature.
If it was freezing that day they wouldent have gone out but it wasn't freezing and they were glad it wasn't as they wouldn't have been able to go on a walk. It would have disappointed them if they had to stay inside and they didn't have to stay inside unless it was freezing. They wanted to spend as much time outside as they could.
Pinkie and Twilight talked about all of the activities that were happening that day and they gossiped about who was getting what present. Their hooves making tracks in the snow as they trotted along the snowy gravel roads through Ponyville as ponies with snow shovels were shoveling the snow away but hadn't got their yet.
The town looked breathtaking as snow covered everything. They both thought that it was a beautiful sight and many other ponies agreed with them. Twilight and Pinkie smiled as they looked at their surroundings.
Pinkie and Twilight both giggled as they went through some shops and bought last minute gifts. While walking and doing all of this Twilight smiled to herself as she was glad As she was with her friend. They unfortunately couldn't be out all day as it was supposed to get colder. Twilight hoped that it wouldent get colder that moment as she wanted to spend time with Pinkie.
"Thanks for going with me Pinkie. It's more fun with you here." Twilight said. Pinkie giggled. The Pegasus ponies sure out did themselves that year. It was very beautiful. They both admired the look of the town. Snow fell from the sky as they walked. They both looked up for a bit and then continued looking at the town as they walked.
"Oh it's nothing Twilight! But I'm glad you think so!" Pinkie said as they trotted along in the cold weather. At least the cold didn't bother them as they had scarves on and their coats. Snow fell off some trees as they walked on. Pinkie stuck her tongue out and caught snowflakes with them. Some ponies looked at them and thought they were weird but they didn't care.
Twilight smiled and rolled her eyes as she patted Pinkies back lovingly as she was really glad Pinkie was there with her. Twilight thought about reminding Pinkie about later but she didn't want to bother with it now but as she looked over at her she decided to speak anyway.
"It's going to get colder. That's what I heard from Rainbow Dash today." Twilight told her unaware friend. At least now her friend was aware. Pinkie looked at her and nodded.
"I figured. Don't worry we'll go back before that. Do you like the walk?" Pinkie asked Twilight hoping she did. Twilight nodded to her friend and spoke in a soft calm voice as the weather had a calming effect on her.
"Of coarse I do silly. That's why I came with you Pinkie." Twilight said as Pinkie should have known that but Twilight didn't blame her as Pinkie was a bit distracted by how the whole town looked and how the weather was. She understood perfectly why Pinkie asked that.
Soon they both finished walking through town so they headed back home. As soon as Pinkie got back to Sugarcube Corner she turned around and spoke to Twilight. She was sad that it was over but she hoped to do it again with Twilight and her friends.
"Thanks for the walk. Let's do it again sometime! Happy Hearths Warming Eve!" Pinkie exclaimed making Twilight smile. Twilight responded to Pinkies nice suggestion as Twilight liked the idea of another walk.
"Of coarse we will do it again. Have a Happy Hearth's Warming Eve!" Twilight replied. Pinkie giggled and walked inside and she shut her door. Twilight smiled and walked back to her place.
As she got back to her place she sat down and enjoyed the warmth of her library. She saw Spike sleeping. She levitated a blanket over him and smiled at him. She sighed as she looked out the window.
"What a nice Hearths Warming Eve!" Twilight stated as she looked out her window. She looked at Spike and smiled. She loved this time of the year.
