The Blood of a Hunter: Part 1
A kid wearing red bomber jacket looked out a window. The sun glistened over his brown hair, as his face cried out sadness. He sighed heavily, looking at the city, skyscrapers and unfinished construction site buildings. He sighed once more, only this time more heavily.
After standing there for about a minute or two, he walked away from the window, revealing his baggy black jeans and red shoes. He walked out of the one story house only to be greeted by several other people wearing red clothing, and a middle aged woman. They had somewhat sad looks on their faces, as did the kid.
The middle aged woman started walking over to a gray SUV, as the kid went over to the other red clothed people.
"We're gonna miss ya HB." said a person wearing a red jacket with a white T-shirt underneath, baggy black jeans, and red shoes as well. On top of his head he wore a red LA cap.
"I know, man." said the kid, known as HB as he shook hands with the other guy.
"Just remember not to forget us." said a big, fat guy wearing a buttoned red shirt, black pants and brown shoes, wearing a fedora, and also had glasses.
"Yeah, otherwise we'll think you's a mark." said another guy who had cornrows and had sun glasses on. He was wearing a long sleeved, red buttoned shirt as well.
"But fo real, man... we'll miss ya."
A car honked as the kid looked at the middle aged woman, in her car. He turned around and waved to his fellow friends, before entering the passenger side door. Soon, the car left the area, as the people all stood there, until the car was out of their sight, as it turned the corner.
Before leaving, the kid and his mother went to the mall to get a new set of clothing for the kid. Said kid exited a clothing room, where he wore a new set of clothes. A gray jacket hoodie, with a white T-shirt with a blood drop symbol underneath, navy blue pants, and black Soap shoes. He didn't look all that confident with his new look but decided to go with it anyways.
After paying for the clothes, he kid exited the store with an sadden look, leaving his home city. He started crossing the street with his head down, unbeknownst to him that a car was flying his way. At the nick of time, he turned his head in the sound of an engine to see a red car coming at him with full speed.
Retaining his sad yet calm look, he did the unthinkable. He jumped high in the air, over the car before it could hit him. He landed flawless and effortless after the car passed him. At that moment, he heard gasping. Turning his head he saw a group of three girls having terrified looks on their face, as they saw something unnatural.
The kid took a step before the girls backed up a bit in fear. He sighed as he rolled his eyes as he kept walking. Still having the crestfallen look, he kept walking towards another car, a gray SUV. He approached the car and opened the passenger side door, revealing a slim women in her 30's. The woman looked at the boy with a smile on her look.
"You look nice? Do you like them?" asked the woman.
The kid still had his angry look before, not paying attention to the woman. "No." he said.
"What's the matter, honey?" asked the woman as she sensed that the kid wasn't in a good mood.
"It's my birth defect. People are afraid of me."
"Oh, honey they aren't afraid of you. They just, haven't seen your kind in their lives."
"What do you mean my kind?!" exclaimed the kid with a hint of anger as he turned to glare at the woman.
The woman was taken back at this remark, knowing she hit a nerve. "What I mean is, dear. Is that people aren't used to other people with, uh... disabilities."
"Oh, so you're saying that I belong in some sort of hospital for special people?"
"That's not at all what I'm saying. What I'm saying is that you're gonna have to get used to being the odd one of the group."
"Trust me, I've gotten used to it." The kid then turned his head towards the window again, not paying attention to his mother. "I'm just afraid that people will treat me different in my new school because of my defect."
"Hunter, they aren't gonna treat you differently. They're gonna treat you the way I treat you. A life loving, good hearted... lazy, sarcastic teenager."
"Thanks mom." said Hunter sarcastically.
"Just promise me you'll go into the school with a different attitude."
"The only thing I want is to get a more entertaining and interesting life. My old life here in LA is boring as hell! I want some adventure in my life, y'know. Life or death situations."
"Now Hunter, I don't think that's appropriate for a kid your age. You can still have adventure, just not that kind."
"Mom, I'm a daredevil. I do everything life threatening. I just need a new scenery and people that don't make fun of me because of my legs."
"Trust me sweetie, you'll find friends in your new school who love you just the way you are."
"I don't need friends, I can take care of myself."
"But your father would want you to make friends."
"Why does he care, he left us when I was four!"
The woman looked like she was about to say something, but had a defeated look as she let out a breath of air. She had a sadden look on her face before gaining a strict look on her face.
"Hunter P. Blood, you are gonna go into the new school with a different attitude! Do I make myself clear?" she said in a demanding voice.
"Aye, captain." said Hunter sarcastically once again.
The woman sighed before turning the keys to her car. The engine roared in life as the car itself started shaking.
"Wanna go to Chick-Fi-La?" the woman asked.
"But I just ate!" exclaimed Hunter.
"Chick-Fi-La it is then."
The woman then looked backwards as she put the car in reverse and started backing up. Hunter, however, had a look of confusion on his face.
"What sense does that make?" asked Hunter quitely to himself as the car backed out of the parking lot.
A week later...
Canterlot High stood proudly, blocking the morning sun as students started filling up the fine school. The smell of fresh cut grass filled the nostrils of the students as they flooded the school grounds. One girl particular had a sparkling grin on her face as she skipped towards the school.
Two students, Curly Winds and Wiz Kid, walked together to their school, backpacks on their, well backs, and books held in their arms.
"Why can't they just call it Kick Ball, or Throw Ball?" asked Curly Winds. "I'm just saying, how do we know it's Football?"
"Because we use our feet to kick the ball." explained Wiz Kid.
"Yeah but, you just explained Soccer and Kick Ball. I mean, Soccer should be called Football, while Football should be named something else."
"Like what?"
"I dunno. Hey, where's Norman?" asked Curly in curiosity of their friend.
"He said he's trying to become like E.T. He says he's on a breakthrough on his flying bicycle."
"Really?"
At that point, the two of them looked at the roof of the school where they saw Norman riding away on his bicycle with cardboard wings. On the front of his bicycle was a basket with a flour bag in it. He pedaled as fast as he could, using all his strength until riding off the ramp that he placed.
"E.T. phoned hoooome!" yelled Norman as he rode off the ramp.
For a second he blocked the sun, but only to come back down onto the ground where a loud thud was heard. Dust and dirt covered the small area where Norman landed as he could be heard groaning in pain.
"Some breakthrough." commented Curly Winds as he and Wiz Kid kept walking towards the school.
Norman groaned in pain as dirt and scrapes covered his clothes. His bicycle becoming more like a unicycle. Norman's legs were over his head as his arms spread out like an eagle, his helmet having a crack.
"E.T. phoned the wrong number." he groaned.
At that moment, the school bell rang, as Norman's ears perked. He quickly got up seeing kids run towards the school.
"Oh no! I'm late! I can't get another detention again!" he exclaimed as he got up.
He grabbed his bicycle turned unicycle and started riding it towards the front of the school, where more students started running towards it.
Elsewhere, a car sat alone on the road, by the sidewalk. The gray SUV contained two people, Hunter Blood himself, and his mom. Hunter looked at the school with a skeptical look on his face. He then started to sigh in an annoying tone before opening the door to get out.
"Hunter." his mom said. Hunter looked at her, while she looked at him with compassion. "Have a good day."
Hunter rolled his eyes before closing the door, his mom leaving. He looked at the school before making his way towards it. There he noticed the broken horse statue with a crack on top of it. He eyed it while walking before ignoring it and started heading towards the entrance.
He walked up the stairs before opening the door to see the front foyer with students running towards their classes. One student in particular sat on a bench as if she was waiting for someone. This student, was Sunset Shimmer.
After hearing the doors open she turned to see Hunter Blood himself standing in the front entrance. She smiled before getting up to talk to him.
While walking, Hunter eyed her, looking at her eyes to see if she saw anything "unusual" about him. She approached him with a warm, conformting smile.
"Hi. You must be the new guy. My name's Sunset Shimmer." she greeted as she extended her hand.
Hunter looked at the hand with no emotion before looking at her.
"Hunter. Hunter Blood." he said, not taking the hand.
Sunset held out the hand a little more to see if he would shake it. Hunter however looked at her with a "don't care" look before looking back at the hand. He then pushed the hand away from him before giving her a hostile look. She grew an annoyed expression at that gesture.
"You didn't have to smack it away from me." she said.
"I didn't want to touch it. You may have germs." he replied.
"I don't think I have germs."
"How should I trust you? I just met you."
Sunset scrunched her face before sighing.
"So, Hunter, I'll be your student tour guide and I'll show you around the school. Does that sound fun?" she asked.
"I'd rather sleep in a hole full of tarantulas." he said with lidded eyes.
Confused by this comment, she decided to ignore it and just thought that maybe if she started to tour, he'll get used to it.
"So let's start this tour, shall we. First off around this corner is the library. Oh and over there is the..." Sunset went on and on about the school while Hunter had a disinterested look on his face as he carried his backpack on his shoulder.
Meanwhile, a kid by the name of Micro Chips was putting his books in his locker. He was possibly the only person in the hallway and from the look on his face, he didn't care.
He just finished putting a book in his locker until a hand was slammed next to him, startling him. Micro Chips slowly turned his head to the left to see a buffed up kid wearing a gray shirt with a fist on it, tight blue jeans with black shoes and a dark red backwards baseball cap. The buffed kid was smiling deviously at him as three other kids were behind him. Their names were Hoops, Score, and Dumb-Bell, who had equally devious smiles on their faces.
Micro Chips gulped in fear as he knew who this person was. Brute Force. Brute Force was a bully back when Sunset Shimmer ruled the school. When word got out she's no longer in charge, Brute Force thought that it's his turn on becoming king of the school. So he gathered some other bullies to help him achieve his goal.
Micro Chips trembled in fear as he biggest bully stared him in the eye.
"H-hi Brute Force." he stuttered in fear.
"So, Micro Chips. How's it going?" asked Brute.
Micro Chips gulped. "W-well it's g-going great. I-I mean the weather is nice, my day is going great-"
"Until now."
Micro Chips' mouth trembled.
"Aw, is Micro Baby gonna gonna cry?" taunted Hoops.
"Actually the mouth trembling is a trait of fear and not sadness. I for one am not the type to easily cry." stated Micro regaining his posture.
Brute Force looked at him with an aggressive stare. Micro Chips slouched down in fear once again.
"Though I am the type to be easily intimidated."
"Ha! Ha! Micro Wuss is scared!" taunted Dumb-Bell.
"Tell us Scaredy Chips, why do you wear your overalls. They look stupid!" taunted Score.
"Yeah. Those overalls make you more than a loser than I thought you were." said Brute Force.
"Well actually I have these overalls to keep my pants up and..." Micro looked at the four guys who looked at him deviously. "Never mind."
Micro Chips then shut his locker and began walking away from the four bullies to get away from them. After turning the corner, Brute Force kept smiling as if he had a plan.
"Get him." he said as he snapped his fingers.
Hoops, Dumb-Bell, and Score all ran after Micro Chips. At the sound of running, Micro looked behind him to see that the three bullies were chasing after him. In fear, he started running as well, dropping his back pack on the ground, the three running passed it.
Micro turned the corner as he slid across the floor, colliding with some lockers. He looked to see the three bullies still chasing after him. Now, adrenaline and fear ran through him as he immediately darted away from them.
He was running as fast as his legs could, while looking back. However, unbeknownst to him, Norman came around the corner still on his unicycle and cycling right towards Micro. Then, WAM! They collided as a wheel was thrown through the impact. The wheel hit Hoops in the face, causing him to fall down.
Micro shook his head and stared at the person who he bumped into.
"Norman!?" he yelled.
"What?" asked Norman innocently. He looked passed Micro to see Hoops having a tire mark on his face, along with an angry glare. The other two bullies had equally intimidating stares. "Oh that."
"Come on!"
Micro grabbed Norman off the floor as both of them started running away from the three. They panted and panted, almost out of breath because Micro was running and Norman was riding his unicycle.
"Don't look back!" yelled Micro.
Norman made a mistake and looked back to see Hoops, Score, and Dumb-Bell all growling at them.
"AAAHH!! I looked back!" Norman yelled as the two continued running.
"And over here is the Computer Lab. And I think that concludes the tour around the school." stated Sunset as she and Hunter stood in the middle of the hallway.
Hunter looked like he was on the verge of falling asleep because of all the boredom he's been given.
"So, what do you think about this place so far?" Sunset asked.
"It's really big." Hunter simply said.
"Well, yeah of course it's big. It's a school."
"It's bigger than the average school."
"Well this isn't an average school if you ask me." Sunset said with a smile.
"Really? Why isn't this an average school?" Hunter asked as he gained a confident grin.
Just as Sunset was about to say something, screaming and yelling could be heard. They turned their heads to see Micro and Norman running around the corner from an unknown force. They saw Hunter and immediately ran towards him, hiding behind him with Micro behind his legs and Norman behind his back.
Just then, Hoops, Score, and Dumb-Bell came around the corner to see Sunset beside Hunter, with Norman and Micro hiding behind him. They soon gained disappointed looks.
"Aw man! I wanted to jump them!" exclaimed Score.
"Please! Help us!" pleaded Norman.
"I don't want to get twenty more bruises!" begged Micro.
"Get off me!" exclaimed Hunter as he kicked Micro off him, falling on Norman.
"Hey kid! Move out the way! We got some business with those two!" said Score.
"Some big business." added Dumb-Bell as he cracked his knuckles.
"And what if I don't move out the way?" asked Hunter.
"Well then you're gonna get a beating as much as those two shrimps over here." replied Hoops as he pointed to Micro and Norman, who backed up and wimped a bit.
Sunset decided it was her time to speak up about this fight. "Listen, guys. Violence isn't the answer. I'm sure we can get through this, if we-"
"Shut it, Sunset!" exclaimed Score.
"Yeah, we all know you haven't changed one bit!" exclaimed Hoops.
"What do you mean, change?" asked Hunter.
"She used to rule this school! She bullied everyone and turned into a demon and destroyed the front of the school!" replied Hoops.
"And I should believe you, why?" asked Hunter, raising an eyebrow.
That shut them up. They didn't have a reason for Hunter to believe them, so they just stood there with confused looks on their faces.
"That's what I thought." said Hunter.
"At least we don't have big legs like you! Look at those things! They're like elephant legs!" taunted Score.
"Ha! Ha! The new kid has big legs!" taunted Hoops.
"Yeah, what a freak!" taunted Dumb-Bell.
In the back of his head, Hunter felt a vein pulse, as he grew an angry look. Sunset however looked down to see his legs and noticed they were unusually large.
"Oh my gosh, I didn't notice. Hunter is everything alright?" asked Sunset in complete concern.
"I bet the answer is no! Look! His face looks like he's about to cry!" exclaimed Hoops.
Hunter had an extremely angry look on his face
"Alright! Listen, if you really want these two..." Hunter took off his backpack and through it in the middle area between the two groups. "you're gonna have to make it across that backpack. It has massive stick bombs in there that's triggered if someone gets near it. So good luck on getting these two."
The three bullies backed up a bit in surprise and fear, with a little amount of fear on their faces.
"That's right losers! You can't get us now!" yelled Norman as he reached to grab his blue helmet, from when he was riding his bicycle turned unicycle. He threw the helmet towards the three bullies only for it to land on the backpack.
Nothing.
Nothing happened when the helmet hit the backpack. The stink bomb was suppose to go off, but it never did. Norman and Hunter both had wide eyed looks.
"You were lying, huh?" asked Norman.
"Yeah. Yeah that was a lie." Hunter replied.
The three bullies had devious smirks on their faces as Norman and Micro backed up. At that moment, Hoops started to run towards Hunter who stood there. Hoops prepared to punch Hunter, only to be cut short when Hunter blocked the punch by grabbing his fist. Hunter raised Hoops' arm into the air as he punched into his arm pit.
Just then, a loud fart was heard as Hoops grew an embarrassed look on his face. He just crapped his pants. Hunter let go of his arm as Hoops started to waddle away. Hunter looked up to see Score and Dumb-Bell running towards Hunter having angry looks.
Score was the closest to Hunter and prepared to punch him. Just like Hoops, Hunter blocked the punch as he kicked a running Dumb-Bell into a set of lockers, before punching Score in the face, knocking him out. And just like that, the three bullies were defeated as Hunter didn't even have a scratch on him. Hoops however started waddling until he fell on his butt, giving him a disgusted look on his face.
Groaning of pain was all that was heard from the bullies, and an occasional fart, as Hunter stood motionless in the hallway. Sunset had a look of impression with his mouth gaping as she stared at Hunter, the same with Norman and Micro.
"How'd you learn to do that?" asked Sunset.
"Where I come from, you need to learn how to fight." replied Hunter.
"Where do you come from?" asked Micro Chips.
"Watts, Los Angeles."
"Well that makes sense."
Norman got up and started hugging Hunter like hell, causing him problems to breath.
"Thank you so much, man! I thought we were dead meat! You sure showed those bullies!" exclaimed Norman as he hugged Hunter tighter.
Hunter mumbled something while he was being hugged. Hearing this, Norman let go of Hunter and looked at him, still hugging him somewhat tight.
"Huh, I'm sorry, what did you say?" asked Norman.
"You're crushing... both my lungs." Hunter managed to say as he said it in one breath.
Norman let go of Hunter, who gasped for air, then started coughing. After coughing he looked at Norman with an annoyed expression.
"Don't hug me again." he said.
"Norman. We should leave. These guys aren't gonna stay on the floor forever." said Micro as he started running away.
Norman followed after him, before turning back to Hunter.
"See you later, new kid!" yelled Norman as he turned the corner.
Hunter and Sunset stood in the hallway in silence, until Sunset broke it.
"So uh... Hunter. I want to ask you something... what happened to your legs?" asked Sunset.
"...I don't want to talk about it." was all Hunter said before walking away.
Sunset looked at him as he walked away. She stood there having a confused look on her face. What did he mean he didn't want to talk about it?
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!! [sorry]
The school bell rang as everyone from every class exited so they could head to lunch. The cafeteria was nearly flooded with students as they all got in line for some good ol' fashion lunch.
Hunter was among the students who entered the cafeteria and got in line. After about five minutes waiting in the long line, he finally got his lunch... a fruit salad, a hot dog, a glass of water, and an apple from Granny Smith herself. He turned around to see all the tables almost filled up.
He looked all around to see a table in the corner, empty. Without hesitation, he started walking towards it, ignoring people looking at him because he was new, until...
"Hey, new kid!" yelled a voice.
Hunter turned to see Norman sitting at a table with Flash Sentry, Sandalwood, and Micro Chips. Hunter looked at them who had smiles on their faces, while Flash was stuffing his face with chicken. He looked right at Hunter as he gained an embarrassing look.
Hunter sighed in annoyance as he walked over to their table. He approached it and sat down right next to Micro Chips.
"Guys, meet the new kid. He saved me and Micro today from those bullies." explained Norman.
"Nice work, bro. Looking over our friends, man." commented Sandalwood.
"Thank you?" questioned Hunter.
Flash Sentry swallowed his food so he could speak.
"So, what's your name anyways?" asked Flash.
"Hunter Blood. Why?"
"Hunter Blood. I like that name. The name that brought down those three bullies." said Norman as he started daydreaming.
"I brought them down because that one guy was coming right at me. Are you telling me you wouldn't fight a bully who was coming at you?"
"I would be too scared to. I would personally brace for impact." replied Micro.
"That's just sad on so many levels."
"So who were the bullies?" asked Flash.
"Hoops, Score, and Dumb-Bell." replied Micro Chips.
"Woah man, are you talking about the ones who work for Brute Force?" asked Sandalwood.
"I know what you're thinking. Hunter could be in serious trouble once Brute Force finds out that he knocked off his reputation a little."
"Who's Brute Force?" asked Hunter.
"Brute Force is the meanest, toughest, most nastiness bully in this school. He basically rules it with an iron fist. Once Sunset Shimmer was out of play, Brute took over. Gathering a group of bullies. Hoops, Score, Dumb-Bell, and someone else." explained Flash.
"Who's that one guy?"
"No one knows. They say they're like a pack of sabre tooth tigers. They'll hunt you down as they jump you and start making you their prey. That someone else is someone we don't know. They could be anyone in this cafeteria. They say they're the right hand man of Brute, so he's just as mean and nasty as him. So watch out for them."
"How could I watch out for a person who works with Brute, when I don't even know the person to begin with?" asked Hunter.
Flash blinked as he knew Hunter found a hole in his story.
"Uuuuuuuuuuuhh." was all Flash said.
"Just be careful of him." Norman said.
"Of who? Of Brute, or that other guy?" asked Hunter.
"Both."
"That doesn't make any sense! How could I look out for someone when I don't even know what they look like!? Hell I don't even know what Brute Force looks like! For all I know he could be midget!"
"He's not, dude." replied Sandalwood.
"At least that question is out of the way."
"Excuse me." said a voice. The five guys turned to see Sunset Shimmer standing in front of them, smiling. "Do you think we can borrow Hunter for a bit?"
"For what?" asked Flash.
"My friends and I want to get to know him."
Sunset pointed her thumb backwards to a group of five girls at a table, all smiling.
"Aw man. Do any of those girls work with Brute?" asked Hunter.
"No." responded mostly everyone, except for Norman who was in the middle of taking a bite out of his sandwich.
"Damn it. I was hoping not to go with them." said Hunter in an annoyed and disappointed tone.
"Were you anti-social before?" asked Micro.
"Eh." was all Hunter said before getting up.
Sunset and Hunter walked over to the group of girls at the table. As he approached them, he noticed they all had different hair colors, unusual hair colors. He's noticed this throughout the school and just went along with it since he has a friend who has dyed purple bangs. He sat down next to a person. Her name was Rarity, but he didn't know that.
He sat there and looked at the smiling girls, except for one who was hiding behind her light pink hair. Hunter coughed into his fist as he didn't know what to say.
"Well, darling?" asked Rarity.
"Well what?" asked Hunter.
"Aren't you going to introduce yourself?"
Hunter raised an eyebrow at her question as he thought Sunset already told them his name. "Well... hi, my name is Hunter. Most people just call me Blood, HB, Hunter P. Blood, HPB, or... That Dude With The Red Hair."
"But you have brown hair." said Applejack.
"I dyed it red before, or dark yellow. I don't know, I'm colorblind."
"Well we know what interesting fact about you." commented Sunset.
"Is that why I'm here? So you girls can learn facts about me, because if so, I'm leaving." Hunter got up but was stopped when Rarity grabbed his arm.
"No, darling. Stay. We like to know you a bit more." Rarity said in a soft voice.
Hunter looked at her with a confused look. As soon as he saw her blue, sapphire eyes, he couldn't resist. He sighed in annoyance as he sat back down.
"Okay, what do you want to know?" Hunter asked in an annoyed tone.
"Well first off, where do you come from?" asked Sunset. "You're obviously new here, so we'd like to know what your old school was like."
"Terrible. It was terrible. I can't word it any simpler, it was just terrible." answered Hunter.
"Okay? So are from here or from another city?" asked Sunset.
"I'm from L.A."
"Oh my. I heard that place is dangerous." said Fluttershy, somewhat shocked.
"It is! Southern L.A. is hell! The gangs, the racist cops, the corrupt law enforcement. I didn't want to live there. So I moved."
"Is that why you moved?" asked Rainbow.
"No. My family, and what I mean by that is my mom, got in some illegal trouble. She was part of an offshoring process from a big investor so in order for me and my sister not to get offshore, we moved here. We heard this place was real nice and far, far away from L.A. Sure I had to leave some homies behind, but live and forget, y'know?" Hunter explained.
"Now that's jus' darn awful! Who would do such a thing to yer family?" asked Applejack, angrily.
"I didn't hear their name when my mom was talking to them. Something Weston was all I heard from the other room. But I don't care about him anymore. He can't get us so we're safe."
"Well I'm glad to hear that. I'm pretty sure no one wants to get offshore." commented Sunset.
"So is that it, or am I done here?" asked Hunter.
"Well actually we were hoping to become friends with you."
"Yeah, no."
The girls were taken back as he denied their offer.
"Why not?" asked Pinkie in a disappointed tone.
"Because one, I don't need friends. I just want to get through my high school life without some guy talking about my legs. I get it, they're a curse! Nothing I can do about it! Second, from what I learned in L.A., you can't trust nobody. Nobody! Not even your friends. So I tend to stay away from them, plus I don't like to hang out with girls. To me, if I see a guy hanging out with girls all the time, I think that guy is... well gay. That's the last thing I want to be known as, well that and 'Big Legged Dude'. Now if you excuse me, I have a lunch to eat."
Hunter then got up and proceeded to walk towards his table. However as soon as he looked at the table, he saw that Norman was eating his food.
"Aw, come on! That's my lunch you're eating! No! Don't eat that!... Okay you can eat that, but I'm eating the hot dog!"
"Hm! Stuff taste like chicken!" muffled Norman as he stuffed his food, or Hunter's food, in his mouth.
"I just told you I'm eating the hot dog!" Hunter then walked over to his table as the girls kept looking at him.
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING! [sorry, again]
The school bell rang as everyone flooded the hallways. People came down the stairs or came up the stairs to go to their lockers. Hunter came down the stairs as he slid down the stair rail via grinding on them. As he came close to the bottom, he jumped off them and did a flip in the air, landing on his feet and started casually walking away. Few students looked at him then at their friends with impressed looks.
Hunter approached his locker as he put in his combination. After putting it in, he opened it and placed his stuff in there while also placing stuff in his backpack.
After getting his stuff, he closed his locker and turned to see a face in front of him. He yelled in surprised as he dropped his backpack on his foot. He grew a painful look on his face as he started grabbing his foot and rubbing it.
"Sorry." said the kid as he reached down to grab the backpack.
Hunter grabbed it from him as he stared at the kid with the fiery orange hair. He was wearing a red, closed jacket with a miniature turtle neck on his, well neck, with a flame symbol on his right side.
"Can I help you?" asked Hunter.
"My name's Heath Burns. I heard you were new here." Heath said as he stuck his hand out.
Hunter looked at the hand before pushing it away. Heath raised an eyebrow in response.
"Germs." Hunter said. "Look, I don't know if you know this, but I don't want to make friends. All I want to do is just get through my last year of high school, then never look back at it again."
"Aw come on. Everyone needs friends. I could be your first." Heath reassured.
"Why do you want to become friends with the F.N.G.?"
"The what now?"
"F.N.G."
Heath stared in confusion. Hunter sighed in annoyance as he rolled his eyes.
"Fucking New Guy."
"Well the new guy's gotta have some friends, right?" asked Heath as he swung his arm.
"Like I said to those girls, the answer is no."
"How come?"
"Because I have a bad history of people. Mostly how they treat me. How can I trust you that you won't do anything differently? You're a stranger to me. Once you probably get to know me, I bet you'll be thinking that it was a mistake making friends with me."
"Trust me kid, I've made friends with a lot of weird kids before. I think I can handle a guy with a birth defect."
Hunter grabbed Heath and slammed him to the locker.
"How did you know?" asked Hunter, angrily.
"Because the bullies were talking about it?" Heath asked as if Hunter should've known.
Hunter blinked before letting go of Heath.
"Oh, right. Ahem, well... if you already know about my secret, then... I guess it won't hurt... to let you... become my friend." Hunter hesitately said.
"That's it, kid. I knew you'd change your mind. As girl who used to go here said before, friendship is magic."
"More like friendship is a word."
Heath chuckled a bit.
"I like you, kid. You're funny. Well, I'll see you later, kid." Heath waved as he started walking off.
"Uh, my name's Hunter, alright?! That's H-, aw forget it." Hunter yelled but gave up as he waved his hand in a frustrated way.
Heath however kept walking, soon having a bright smile, to a devious grin. He turned the corner and there he was, where Twilight Sparkle met Sunset Shimmer, that dark, ominous hallway with unused lockers... seriously you would think the school would do something about that light.
There stood four figures.
"Did he say anything?" asked the figure.
"Oh he said plenty. He apparently doesn't like his 'birth defect' talked about and he has a history of being triggered because of it. This will be a great advantage to us... Brute." said Heath, very eerie.
The four figures came out of the dark, revealing it to be Brute Force, Hoops, Score, and Dumb-Bell.
"Yes it will, Heath. Yes, it, will." Brute said as he started gaining a devious grin. "Okay seriously, Hoops, can you change your pants?"
"But this is my only pair!" whined Hoops as the smell of crap is still fresh in his pants.
Reader: What the hell did I just read. This is the cringiest thing ever.
