Starlight's Confessions

Starlight Glimmer's stomach was churning, and hurt spiked her heart like a thousand knives. Trixie'll never love me! She ran blindly and aimlessly out of the castle, her hooves taking her to Rainbow Dash's cloud-mansion.

Her breath was heaving her flanks and scratching against her tightened, throbbing throat. Her pink hackles were spiked in sorrow, and her heart felt empty; well, what was left of it, since it'd just shattered into more than a million pieces. Tears were staining her fur a dark purplish-pinkish. They blurred her vision, and she could just make out what was beyond her snout.

"Rainbow Dash!" She uttered a strangled cry, throwing her head back to the blue pegasus' cloud mansion.

Suddenly, a massive weight flew on top of her, and the thick scent of peanut butter and smoke bombs practically slapped her nose. Blue fur filled her mouth like furry whipped-cream and choked Starlight, the purple-and-pink-and-mint maned unicorn's hooves scrabbling against the pony's broad shoulders

"I love you!" Trixie gasped, throwing her mouth against Starlight's.
