//-------------------------------------------------------// Starlight's Confessions -by PirateCattheShipper- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Confessing //-------------------------------------------------------// Confessing Starlight Glimmer's fur bristled precariously as she paced into Twilight's huge castle. She'd just recently gotten home from a rehearsal with Trixie; the ambitious unicorn had insisted they make a magic show so great and powerful that they got showered with endless roses-not that the silky-mained illusionist cared about that kind of stuff. Starlight had eagerly agreed, and after hours of rehearsing she was bone-weary. But there was something urgent that Starlight just needed to talk to Twilight about. Something that couldn't even wait until tomorrow. She burst into the library, panting hard, and slowly Twilight turned to face her, reluctant to put her beloved books down. The purple-furred Alicorn didn't exactly look bright-eyed and bushy-tailed-rather tired and irritated that Starlight had interrupted her studies, but she put on an affectionate smile anyways. "What's up, Starlight? You don't look so good." Twilight looked Starlight up and down a few times, concern starting to brim in her violet eyes. "I'm. . .I'm fine, thanks." Starlight did a good job at pushing the anxiety that was rapidly pulsing with her heart aside as she spoke. "I just need to tell you something. . ." She flattened her ears and looked down as she scuffed a hoof on the floor, looking back up at Twilight with big purplish-blue eyes as the princess spoke. "Sure. You can tell me anything," Twilight's words were reassuring, "and I won't judge." She paused while wrapping a foreleg around Starlight's neck, who tensed at her touch and thought about if Trixie were to ever do that. She probably doesn't even like me, Starlight thought with a disdainful scoff. "So, tell me," Twilight started up again, "what do you want to talk about?" Starlight swallowed hard, anxiety rolling down her face in wet little beads. Some fell into her mouth and the saltines spread across her tongue, causing her to lick it up and swallow it, thinking it tasted good. She licked her lips and took a deep breath before replying solemnly; "I love Trixie." Her voice was bold, clear, and vibrant, her chest puffed up in pride. But Twilight seemed to think otherwise. "You WHAT?!?!?!?" Twilight's eyes blazed, her fur spiking in indignation. "Wh-What about your friendship lessons? Hm?" "Relax, Twilight! Please! I at least think I do!" Starlight panicked, her heart slamming against her chest and the hackles along her spine lifting timidly. Her eyes were crazed with desperation, hurt, and love. Tears started to get caught in her tear ducts. Twilight's arm left Starlight's neck bare and she faced her pupil furiously. "What did Trixie do to you?" She stalked around Starlight and eyed her suspiciously. Oh, c'mon, Twilight! Starlight thought diffidently. Please don't do anything to my favorite pony! She pleaded silently that Twilight wouldn't hurt Trixie in any way, shape, or form. "T-Trixie didn't do anything!" Starlight stuttered, terror-stricken. "I don't even know if she loves me!" Memories flashed in Starlight's mind as a voice whispered; "You do know, you do. . .Think back to your first kiss. . ." All of a sudden it was one of Trixie's minor acts-one that happened quite some time ago, back in the beginning of their friendship. The crowd had went wild, begging for more. They threw roses, violets, money. It was the most successful Trixie had been. Once the show had been over, Trixie barreled into Starlight, through the curtains. The blue unicorns' lips gingerly met Starlight's, and the powerful pinkish unicorn felt a wet tongue slither into her mouth and scrape against her teeth before letting go. "DaaaaaAAAWWWI'M SORRY!" Trixie yelped, her mouth tingling. "That was an accident!" Her voice cracked with panic. Starlight rubbed her head and sat up onto her haunches, her tongue swiping across her jaws. She wiped Trixie's fat saliva from her chin, and Trixie did the same. "I-It's quite alright. I was excited, you were excited." Starlight was staring into Trixie's red face. "It wasn't just you." "H-How can you be so nonchalant about it?" Trixie's gasped, astounded. "Because that's the least of my worries." And it felt good, Starlight resisted the urge to smile, and her cheeks got a tad red. She trotted up to Trixie and gave her magic-mate a big hug. Starlight blushed fiercely at the memory, her cheeks aflame. She was jolted to the present as Twilight's caterwaul rang shrilly in her ears; "ANSWER ME!!!!" Starlight shrank into her fur. "I'm sorry, I didn't catch what you said befo-" "Look," Twilight's voice was dark and impending as she thrust her muzzle up against Starlight's own, "I know Trixie did something to you! I know! There's no way in all of equestria that you could have a crush on such a pony! Such a loser!" Starlight felt a jolt of pain slice through her, her heart aching, and she winced. Ouch, she thought, that stung. Twilight's gaze-a purple forest fire-scorched into Starlight's fear-ridden own. "If you can't answer me," Twilight drew in a deep breath, turning tail on Starlight and starting to stamp away, "then you can just hide out in your room. I have some revenge I need to plot." And with that, Twilight was gone, off to her own room. Tears swelled in Starlight's eyes and blurred her vision, her teeth chattering. She galloped to her room with tears flying behind her and slammed the door shut, leaping onto her bed and shoving her face in her pillow. The memory of what just happened flashed before her eyes, over and over until she couldn't take it any long. She rolled contemptuously out of bed and used her magic to get hold of a pen and paper. Starlight scribbled so hard on the paper that it left faint marks in her table. She was about to finish the paper off when something, or somepony, tapped on her window. Author's Note Hey, guys! I really hope you like it so far! The next few chapters should be posted, so make sure to stay in touch! https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/pinkiesmile.png //-------------------------------------------------------// Too scared to love //-------------------------------------------------------// Too scared to love Starlight Glimmer's ears twisted and flattened as stimuli to the irritable tapping at her window, causing her to scribble harder, and finally the piece of paper was finished off, and so she threw it in the trash. It's all just my imagination, thought Starlight, whisking another piece of paper to her using her magic and quickly beginning to draw something. The tapping stopped as she started off with a hat, then a horn, and then the circular head. . . TAP TAP TAP!!!! The tapping started up again, and Starlight growled before snapping her head around to face the window, rage blazing in her blue eyes. But her rage gave way to intense worry as she realized Trixie was feverishly tapping on her window, the blue illusionists fur bristling and her eyes desperate. "Trixie!" Exclaimed Starlight, racing over to the window, getting a bit feverish herself. Beads if sweat rolled down her face as she scrabbled her hooves on her window and made a massive effort to open it. Once Starlight's window was open, she yelped in alarm as Trixie's body crashed into hers and fell on top of the powerful, pinkish unicorn. She mustered up her strength to get out from under Trixie's heavy body, gritting her teeth and groaning at the effort, until finally she slipped out and front-flipped on the floor, crashing into her table. "Oof!" Starlight sat up dizzily with imaginary birds twittering around in circles above her head. Once they had gone she scratched it, her face twisted in pain and regret for being so dumb. Trixie moaned, muzzle-to-"muzzle" with the ground, lifting her head up. Her eyes widened in alarm and she squeaked; "Starlight! Are you OK?" Starlight swayed side to side, standing up and putting a hoof to her aching, throbbing head. "I'm fine. . ." She said distortedly, shaking her head violently to clear it and, soon enough, the thick fog was pushed away. "J-Just, why are you here?" Trixie placed her hat on her head using her magic, heaving herself to her hooves before replying; "Why did I come in this way or why am I here?" "Both." Answered Starlight, obviously perturbed. A million questions buzzed in her head like a small army of the black, hole-ridden things changelings used to be, like if Trixie found out about Twilight being mad at her or if Trixie was just desperate to hang out with Starlight. Maybe Twilight shooed her out of her cart next to the castle? Fear started to prickle in Starlight's short pinkish fur. "Well," Trixie began normally, but her voice rose and was washed over by panic and disconbobulation as she continued, "TWILIGHT IS OUT TO KILL ME!!!! I KNOCKED ON THE DOOR AND SHE WAS SMACKING ME WITH A BROOM, SAYING HOW YOU--" "Trixie!" Starlight yowled, but Trixie kept on babbling. "YOU WERE NEVER GONNA BE MINE, HOW SHE'D HAVE VENGEANCE FOR ME--" "TRIXIE!!!!" Starlight's horn lit up an immense amount, sparks flying out of it as she preformed a shut-up spell on Trixie, zipping the unicorns mouth shut. "Could you PLEASE be more quiet? Twilight will get so suspicious!" Trixie tapped her furry blue forehoof on the ground impatiently, her eyes scanning Starlight's room. "What?" Starlight growled, but then realized Trixie couldn't talk, so she undid the spell briefly. "Thank you, Starlight Glimmer." Snarled Trixie, before adding; "So, what's up with Twilight again?" "W-Well. . ." Starlight blushed fiercely, embarrassment flooding into her. She paused to think of what she might say. . . "Well?" Trixie persisted, lowering an eyebrow. "I-I told her something. . .and she thought that you put some sort of spell on me or. . .or made me l-like you? I don't even know. . ." She quavered. Trixie's muzzle scrunched. "Why would she think you like Trixie?" "I-I don't know!" Starlight threw her head back and yelled, throwing her head back down with a horrified expression on her face. "What did you tell Twilight"-Trixie thrusted her muzzle up against Starlight's hard, anger starting to burn inside of her-"that made her think you had a crush on the Great and Powerful Trixie?" "I-I t-told he-her. . ." Starlight Glimmer felt tears start to catch in her blue eyes, and anxiety and fear got its claws clotted in her belly. "I. . .I. . ." "Starlight!" Trixie's voice scored it's claws down Starlight's ears and hurt pressed onto her belly. "What did you tell Twilight?!" "I told her about how awesome I thought you were. . ." Starlight's embarrassment sent yet another crash of red into her enflamed face. "Really?" Trixie snorted, jerking her muzzle away and taking an indignant step back. "That's all? I-we-saved equestria, and THIS is how she reacts?" "Well. . .Yeah." Starlight scrunched her muzzle and stared stupidly at Trixie until she replied; "I'm not surprised." Starlight felt a wave of relief blast into her and she felt a weight on her shoulders be swept off. "Yeah, you know Twilight, heheh." She laughed phonily. "So, uhm, what brings you here?" "Well, you forgot your jacket. . ." Trixie began, her voice now normal. "But, thanks to you ignoring me, I dropped it. Out the window." She added huffily, causing Starlight to blush shortly. "S-Sorry. I thought it was in my imagination." She confessed, obviously abashed. "Well, the Great and Apologetic Trixie forgives you. . ." Trixie said, wrapping a hoof around Starlight's neck and giving her a doting nuzzle on the cheek. Starlight's face went numb with joy, fatuousness and love. "I-I. . ." She couldn't find words. "I love you. . ." Her voice was too quiet to hear, and so was Trixie's when she said something and nuzzled harder, drinking in Starlight's sweet scent. This is the life, thought Starlight adoringly. I love her so much. . .I wish we could have even more moments like this. . .Then alarm shuddered through her, and she scrambled away from Trixie. Trixie stared at Starlight Glimmer, taken aback. She held her forehoof up to her chest, gaping in disbelief. "What was that for?" She hissed, slamming her hoof down. "I-It just doesn't feel right to be so close. . ." Starlight Glimmer lied. "For so long. . ." Trixie winced, stung by Starlight's words. "Oh. . ." She whispered, bowing her head shamefully and scuffing a furry blue hoof on the ground. "I'm sorry. . ." Starlight felt the sudden urge to give Trixie a huge hug and bury her face into the illusionists soft fur, but she contained herself. "It's okay." She stepped toward Trixie and lifted her head with a hoof, resisting the new urge to kiss her; their muzzles were so close they were almost touching. Trixie just stared into Starlight's loving eyes and licked her lips longingly. "Well, the Great and Powerful Trixie doesn't feel it is right, either!" Trixie sneered loudly, slapping Starlight arm away aggressively and backing off as if a parasprite had just spit into her eye. Starlight was nearly as hurt as she was when Trixie had revealed that she was only being her friend to win something to Twilight, even though the illusionist actually liked Starlight. . .Maybe even more than a friend. Starlight mustered up her affability and asked politely if Trixie would like to spend the night. "As much as the Grrreat and Powerful Trrrrrrixie would love to stay, she'd be at even more risk and also have no food or water!" Trixie exclaimed. "Oh, really?" Starlight Glimmer beckoned Trixie closer to her and started toward a secret chest under her bed, of which she pulled out with her magic. Gingerly she opened it to reveal a stash of snacks. . .and to Trixie's surprise, she had peanut butter crackers! Trixie squealed in delight, jumping up and down on her hooves. "Peanut Butter Crackers!" She caterwauled, excitement drowning her in it's alluring depths. Starlight rolled her eyes in amusement, whisking a package of Peanut Butter Crackers up to her and opening it, trying not to make noise. She drew one out and placed it in Trixie's watering, gaping mouth. Not realizing the sexuality of what Starlight had just done, Trixie chewed the crackers in felicity, her eyes smiling at the wide smile spread across her gleeful blue face. Starlight handed the crackers over with magic, and Trixie took them with magic and snuffed them down ravenously. "What about water?" She asked with a mouthful of Peanut Butter Crackers in her mouth that were in the process of being chewed, even though with her crackers she didn't really care about anything else. "I can always just snatch one up from downstairs. And if it's not gross enough for you, I can stash some dinner in my mouth and feed it to you. . .Yeah, that sounds disgusting." Starlight chuckled at her odd thought. "Well, will our mouths touch in the making. . . .?" Trixie couldn't help but ask. "Uh. . .I was thinking to just spit it out on a. . .a. . .I don't really have any plates. . ." "Well, we're not birds, and my Peanut Butter Crackers will keep me fine~" Trixie drew her package of crackers close and nuzzled them, causing Starlight to chuckle in amusement and laughter. All of a sudden their laughter was broken as Twilight's hoofsteps sounded through the corridor and her voice echoed off the walls; "Starlight Glimmer!" Author's Note Hey, guys! I really want to thank you for reading this far :scootangel: https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/scootangel.png Also please make sure to leave a like, dislike, or optionally a comment  https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/twilightsmile.png //-------------------------------------------------------// What to do? //-------------------------------------------------------// What to do? "Starlight Glimmer!" Trixie whispered loudly, "Starlight Glimmeeeerrr!" She imitated Twilight diffidently. "Whatever are we going to do?!" Starlight Glimmer felt fear worm it's way into her clenched belly, and she responded; "Hide! Get under my bed or SOMETHING!" The hoofsteps got closer every heartbeat and Trixie danced on her hooves, her heart slamming against her chest. She lifted her forehooves up and grabbed Starlight's face, thrusting it up against her own; "What are we gonna do?!" "I-I don't know!" Responded Starlight rapidly, her heart beating so fast she felt as though it would explode. She pushed Trixie's forearms down, dancing on her own hooves and chewing on a forehoof uneasily. But then an idea sparked inside of her, and so she hissed to Trixie urgently; "Get under my bed! Quick!" The hoofsteps were so close that the two ponies could feel them, and Trixie immediately scrambled under Starlight's bed frantically, as the door began to open. . . Princess Twilight Sparkle walked in as Starlight Glimmer was staring down at Trixie Lulamoon, who was heaving the secret chest in front of her to disguise her presence. . . Quickly Starlight snapped her attention from Trixie and faced Twilight. "What do YOU want?" She asked caustically, hackles lifting. "I want to apologize. . ." Twilight confessed harmoniously. "I understand that you have nothing to do with this, and always have." Starlight's face had red slowly burning through her fur. "I-It WAS my fault, Twilight! Trixie didn't cast a spell on me. . ." She muttered quietly, so that Trixie couldn't hear her. Twilight grimaced. "You mean you really have a crush on Trixie?" Starlight's face went excessively red and numb and she felt her hooves tingle and her ear-tips burn with shame and embarrassment. "I. . .I uh. . ." Twilight wrapped a hoof around Starlight's neck and said softly; "It's not your fault. I'll get revenge, just you wait. . ." She closed her jaw around Starlight's fuzzy ear and the pink unicorn stood rigid, her face so numb that she couldn't feel the huge frown set upon it. All that Starlight could do was stand there like a statue-maybe even like the chaotic discord when he was set to stone at first. Twilight slowly pulled back, drool oozing down Starlight's ear. It tickled and her ear twisted and flicked as stimuli, and as Twilight finally left she rubbed it off with her face screwed up in disgust. Trixie staggered out from under Starlight's bed. "What was THAT all about?" She said as she leaned into Starlight, reaching over and wiping the last of the drool off of her ear. "Well, as you know, Twilight is ridiculous!" Starlight laughed in false amusement. "Starlight," Trixie began hesitantly, "do you actually have a crush on me?" Her purple eyes glistened. Starlight's forequarters lowered a bit and she tilted her head up to look into Trixie's eyes. "W-Well. . .N-no. . ." "Ya sure about that?" Trixie interrogated, lowering an eyebrow. "Oh, shut up." Starlight blushed fiercely. "You have a crush on me!" "You kissed me!" Starlight snapped back, her blue eyes having a small blaze. Trixie's face reddened an immense amount and she snorted. "Pfffffft, I uh. . .Was just caught up in the moment! Trixie was just very excited!" She whipped her head to the side and let her bottom lip jut out, looking back at Starlight as she suggested; "Well, I have games. What did you have in mind, that we could do?" "Well, I didn't really have anything in mind." Trixie groused, "Buuut I suppose we could play truth or dare?" She asked cunningly. "Duuuhhhhhhhhh. . ." Starlight tapped a hoof on her chin and when she got an idea she sprang up, thrusting her face up to Trixie's, there muzzles scrunching up together. "Pinkie Pie and some anonymous pony she knows. . .and apparently me, too. . .Well, anyway, they made"-Starlight pulled back and lifted a forehoof excitedly-"a truth or dare set of cards, and we could play it!" Trixie just stared at Starlight, waiting for her to say something, but what? Starlight's brow furrowed as she pondered what Trixie could be so reluctant to play about. But then it hit her, and she blushed while she realized what the possibilities of dares could be in there. "Well, we could just skip the horrid dares." Suggested Starlight curtly, desperate to do something adventurous with Trixie. "Weeeeeeeeeeh. . ." Trixie rolled her head, considering. "Yeeeeeeeeeeah!" Starlight urged. "Well. . .Okay." Trixie seemed eager, though her ears were flattened and her fur was prickling. There was an uncontrollable smile on her face. "Okay! Great!" Starlight yipped excitedly. She dashed around, scouring her room for the cards. While waiting for Starlight, Trixie let her eyes take in Starlight's room. She glanced over at the unicorn's table, finding the start of a drawing of her. She lifted a hoof to her mouth in dismay, turning around to face Starlight. "You love Trixie!" Trixie exclaimed, holding the piece of paper up with a furry blue hoof. Starlight kept searching the table next to her bed, her tail facing Trixie. "Don't be silly." She chuckled. "The Great and Powerful Trrrixie compels you to tell the truth! What was this drawing for?" That's when Starlight turned around, half slowly half normally. "W-Well I got bored. . .I was mad and thinking about you made me less mad, I suppose. I was thinking about the act we had planned, I was sketching out a poster." Well, thought Starlight numbly, at least it's less than half true. She rolled her eyes. "That. . .That's one of the nicest things anypony's ever done to me. . ." Trixie pulled Starlight in with a forearm and gave her a hug, tears starting to slip out of her eyes. "Starlight, I think you're the nicest pony I've ever met. . ." "And you're the most great and powerful, Trixie." Starlight nuzzled into Trixie's ruff, pulling back after a decent while of affectionately hugging. "Now, let's get to playing!" Starlight held the cards up with her magic, "We've got a game to play!" //-------------------------------------------------------// Truth or Dare-the Game Begins //-------------------------------------------------------// Truth or Dare-the Game Begins "But you haven't even found the cards yet. . .?" Trixie lifted a hoof in confusion. "Oh, uuh. . ." Starlight Glimmer glanced around sheepishly. Then she caught sight of it, and drew it up to her using her magic. "Right here!" Trixie gave an amused chuckle. "Alright." She rolled her eyes playfully, passion for Starlight burning strong in her heart. "Let's play." Starlight stared down stupidly at the see-through, plastic box. "So, uh. . .How do we play?" She looked up at Trixie, bemused. "Well, I'd ask you, 'truth or dare?', and well, you'd say which one you want. Then I'm assuming you just pick a random card. . ." Trixie folded her magic around a card and examined it, puzzled. "I just don't know how we tell what the card is." She gave the card one last examination before emitting a loud AHA! of conclusion. "It says 'DARE' on the back. . .Well, I think front, right here! And all of the cards are facing this way!" Starlight nodded vigorously, excitement fizzing up inside of her. "So, then, what's truth? I'm assuming dare is-" "Something that most ponies don't choose." Trixie's tone was irritable. "Also known as, please don't be one of the ponies who ONLY chooses truth?" Starlight nodded slowly, drinking in the information. If Trixie likes something, she thought compassionately, then I want to learn everything that I can about it. "So, all in all, choose wisely but yet fairly." Trixie set the card down. "According to that card, I suppose these dares will just be silly, like the fillies version of this game." "Is that a good or bad thing?" "Depends." "On what?" "Whether you want to kiss me or not. Usually ponies who do this for you just want you to be humiliated. It's pretty much the whole purpose of the game." Starlight flinched. "Really? Why did you suggest it?" "Because I didn't know you had these." Trixie kicked the box sassily. "Okay." Starlight whimpered. Was that. . .disappointment in her neigh? Meanwhile, Trixie had drifted deeply into her thoughts. She shook her head like a wet dog, pushing away her thoughts, before neighing; "W-Well. . .Let's get started. Truth or dare?" "Uhm. . .Truth?" Starlight plopped onto her haunches, her tail wrapped around her hind legs. Trixie sighed agitatedly. "Loser. . ." She muttered before drawing a truth card up to her. "Do you have a crush on Princess Twilight Sparkle. . ." Trixie's mouth thinned into a straight line across her cheeks, her eyes a mixture of what-the-buck-is-this and horror. Her eyebrows were pushed down flat on her disbelieving eyes. "Er. . .No. . .?" Starlight shook her head, bewildered. "Who the buck was the"-Trixie flinched at her language-"anonymous pony who made this?!?" Her tone was scathing."I mean, these-" Trixie was shaking with stifled laughter, snickering uncontrollably. "There's the kind of question this dumb game requires!" She chuckled, laughter exploding out of her. She clutched her belly and fell onto her back, her hind legs churning in the air. Tears started to form in her eyes but barely fell out. "What?!" Starlight demanded, slamming a hoof imperiously on her floor. "Th-Th-This is-is th-the kind of que-question I was talking about!" Trixie's voice rose into another bellow of laughter. She sat up on her haunches and dabbed a tear away from her right eye with a hoof, relaxing. "Well, whatever. Let's see your reaction to these questions. Truth or dare?" Trixie smiled. "Dare." She stated flatly, curling her tail around her hooves. "Well, okay." Starlight folded her magic around a dare card and whisked it up to her. "I dare you to. . .Lock eyes with the pony across from you for the rest of the night." Starlight stared into Trixie's eyes, which had almost immediately locked into hers. Starlight shivered. "Truth or dare." Trixie asked flatly, her gaze glued into Starlight's blue own. "Er. . .Dare." Trixie drew a card up with out looking. She only flicked her gaze away to read aloud; "Tell the pony closest to you, not physically but mentally, as in friendship, that you want to buck." A frown slid down Trixie's face. She slowly looked up at Starlight, who's breathing was increasing. "Er. . .Uh. . .Let's. . .I wanna buck. . .?" Starlight stammered, uneasiness prickling in her pink fur. Trixie's gaze was once again glued to Starlight's, as if the blue illusionist was in some sort of trance, like the love poison that the CMC had given Cheerilee (Big Macintosh, as well, but Trixie looked more like Cheerilee in this case). She leaned in closer to Starlight. "Are you serious?" Starlight felt dismayed and unsettled, the world swaying on her hooves. Trixie leaned in so close that the two unicorns' noses touched and it sent a ripple of yearn into both of them, most of all Starlight. "T-Tr-Truth or dare. . ." Starlight managed to choke out. "Dare." Trixie's tongue squeezed out of her slightly parted jaws and gingerly ran up Starlight's mouth to nose. Starlight stood rigid, frozen with shock. "O-Okay, Trixie!" She quavered, staggering back clumsily. "Let's not get carried away!" "Let's. . ." Slowly Trixie licked her lips, still in a trance of longing. "Truth or dare?" Starlight smoothed out the spiked up fur on her chest with a hoof, which was wet from her fresh saliva. "Dare." Answered Trixie in a are-you-stupid tone, the hint of laughter in her neigh. Starlight eyed her companion skeptically before sorting through the cards, picking out a dare one. "I dare you to. . .Read ten books in three days. . ." Starlight gaped in dismay. "I think that the anonymous pony was Twilight." She confessed, giving the card to examination. They're also flash cards, she thought as evidence. "Ya think?" Trixie asked sarcastically. "It can't be!" She smacked a hoof against her forehead in mock appall, falling to the ground. "How could it ever?" "Because Twilight loves books and-" "Starlight. I was being sarcastic, you dingbat." "O-Oh. S-sorry, Trixie. I'm a little shaken from earlier. What time is it even?" "It's almost nine. Why? Do you need a nap?" Trixie taunted, her tone actually quite a but hurtful. She seems so un-phased by what she just did to me, thought Starlight in awe, I just have to act the same! She's just back to the same ol' Trixie! Starlight uttered a content sigh. "Tonight has been very stressful for me, in case you haven't noticed. I am just wondering simply because it seems much later than it is and I want to make sure that we're safe from Twilight; not being too loud, too quiet, too suspicious. Anything like that." Twilight came hollering down the corridor just as Starlight was finishing up her last sentence. "Celestia darn it!" Trixie cursed under her breath. "Why does Twilight have to be so annoying and bossy?" And so good at everything! "What was that?!" Starlight asked curtly, before shouting; "Whatever! Git!" Trixie scrambled, berserked, under Starlight's bed, and the powerful pink unicorn threw the box under the bed in front of where Trixie lay. Starlight plodded slowly to her door, opening it slightly and peering out. "What would Twilight want from me now?" She groused, scanning the corridor for a thick purple coat and colorful purple-and-pink mane, only to find that their wasn't one. Instead, there was a blue-coated Pegasus with a rainbow-colored mane, frantically searching the castle. She lifted herself off of the ground, the flap of her wings echoing down the halls. She bit on her hooves. Starlight blinked in confusion, shrinking back into her room and quietly shutting the door with a careful hoof. "Who was that?" A wavering voice asked from under Starlight's bed. "I-I don't know. . .Rainbow Dash. Somehow. . .But why. . ." Starlight fumbled for words, so bewildered that she blinked many times a minute. Trixie's spine flexed and her belly slid against the ground as she heaved herself out from under Starlight's bed, and she plodded up to Starlight in empathy, wrapping a hoof around the unicorn's neck. "I have no idea why Rainbow Dash would be looking around the castle," she began, "but perhaps Trixie should stay hidden? Maybe she's looking for Trixie! A spy!" Trixie's hackles lifted in horror at the idea and she scrambled back under Starlight's bed after throwing down a smoke bomb. Starlight emitted a volley of coughs, her hoof wagging over her mouth as she strained to get the fake smoke from her lungs. She shook out her fur before stepping carefully over to Trixie and bending down her forequarters, muzzle to muzzle with the illusionist. "It's gonna be okay, Trixie! I promise that I won't let her-them-catch you!" Starlight rubbed her nose-tip against Trixie's briefly before backing off. And just in time, too. "There you are, Starlight! I've been looking all over for you!" Rainbow Dash strained to keep the quaver from her voice, which was dripping with apprehension and reluctance like honey from a spoon. Anxiety thrived in Rainbow Dash's belly and mingled with her dismay, causing the blue Wonderbolt to feel as though there was a bee hive inside of her. "Yeah. Why are you here, Rainbow Dash?" Starlight lifted a forehoof in confusion, turning to face Rainbow Dash, whose fur was prickling and standing up like porcupine quills. She felt her own pink fur start to bristle at why Rainbow Dash was acting like this. Rainbow Dash gulped hard before replying; "Come and eat dinner, Starlight Glimmer. We want you there. Make you-yo-" Tears gushing into Rainbow Dash's eyes and her throat closed. "I'm so sorry. . ." Her forelegs bent and her muzzle slapped the ground, tears slipping down her scrunched muzzle and creating little puddles on the floor. Starlight was stiff with confusion. "Wh-What happened? What did you do?!" "I-. . .Twil-" Rainbow dash flapped her wings feebly a few times, even though it didn't pick her up (she hadn't meant for it to). "Well, I'll come down with you. Just give me a sec." Finally Starlight could move, and so she ushered Rainbow Dash out of her room, closing her door with her back once the emotional Pegasus was finally out. There was a sniff from under Starlight's bed. "What just happened?" Trixie asked, perplexed. She was trembling under Starlight's bed. //-------------------------------------------------------// Blinded By Confusion //-------------------------------------------------------// Blinded By Confusion Starlight Glimmer plodded discomfitly down Princess Twilight Sparkle's castle's corridor, her fur prickling. Silently she willed for Trixie to not be discovered. She could taste the fear in her dried mouth, and her hooves were so damp she thought that they were leaving puddles in her wake. Starlight felt anxiety claw it's way up her chest and out of her mouth in a shrill squeak as she entered the kitchen. Pinkie Pie was baking a cake that said; "Starlight, you'll get better soon~" "Pinkie!" She exclaimed, shock jolting up her legs and sparking in her belly. "What IS this?" She stamped up to the cake in dismay. Pinkie Pie's head turned slowly to Starlight and, at the same time, a smile slowly formed, ear to joyful ear. "You will find out whom you really love soon." She stated flatly, her tone having a sense of. . .was that seething jealousy? Starlight blinked in confusion. "Or is it who?" Pinkie wondered, a hoof tapping gently on her fuzzy chin. "OR is it whose? Whom? Who? You love whose. . .fur?" Starlight stifled a snicker at Pinkie's personality. "Well, why in ponyville would you say that? I already know who I love. . ." Starlight's ears drooped dejectedly. But does she love me. . .She felt as though she was trotting deeper and deeper into a thick fog every question that wormed its way into her brain. She did kiss me once, very passionately, but it was only a few heartbeats, Starlight wondered farther into the fog and found it was clearing an insignificant amount. Even though it felt like forever. . .Everything seemed so clear even thought it only lasted about 3 heartbeats. . . She could remember every last detail as if it had happened just yesterday and in slow motion. A squeal jolted Starlight painfully back to reality, and she realized her eyes had been glazed over and staring at the cake, while she was gaping. "Go to the dinner, Starlight!" Pinkie's tone was convincingly joyful, her ears straining to stay perked. Her smile was starting to break as Starlight reluctantly trotted out of the kitchen, using her magic to shut the door behind her. Pinkie Pie sighed, her eyes starting to glow with anger and dismay. Just as I was starting to FINALLY get her to like ME instead of Fluttershy or Applejack! She thought with disdain pricking in her bristling pink fur. Damn Twilight! Always has to make things go her way! Starlight felt unease writhe in her fur, causing it top bristle with apprehension. Why did Pinkie seem mad about this? Maybe she liked Trixie! Starlight shuddered, her stomach flipping for a couple seconds. I'm unsure weather there even is a dining room! She peered into the throne room, and, sure enough, Twilight was there. But she wasn't alone. "Are ya sure what yer doin' is alright? I mean, it seems a little excessive." There was sorrow adding to the brilliant green of Applejack's troubled gaze. "It's perfect!" Twilight was trembling, her mane spiking. "Sh-She'll. . ." She leaned into Applejack, her warm, shaking breath tickling Applejack's ear as she whispered something. Starlight strained to hear, her ears angling far forward. "Rain. . .sh. . .know. . .won't fall. . .love. . .Trixie. . .forbidden. . .gone. . ." The last part sent an alarmed bolt of lightning chilling down Starlight's tingling spine and sparking in her gut. She felt sick with the knowledge that Twilight would never forgive Trixie, even though she kind of helped save the world. Starlight half backed away, half staggered away from the door, shutting it gently with a careful hoof. It squeaked and she levitated herself up, her aqua-colored magic folding around her, and drew herself frantically and swiftly down to the library. Rainbow Dash was rummaging through the c-section, her pupils thin in her desperate eyes and her mane frizzy. She whipped around when she heard Starlight's magic and the sound of her hooves pressing to the ground. fear rode up her spine and her wings froze, locked in a startled wing-boner, before she fell to the ground, her hooves shaking. Starlight galloped to the shocked, timid pegasus' side. "Rainbow, what happened?" "I-I thought you were Twilight!" Rainbow quavered, her fur quivering and bristling, her flanks heaving with her gasps for air. "You really scared me!" "SCARED? Rainbow Dash, how could you, of all ponies, admit that?!" Starlight Glimmer barely yelled, unduly mystified. She was starting to get scared for Rainbow! "Tw-Twilight. . .St-Starlight." Rainbow Dash wobbled onto her shaky hooves. "I-I l-love you. Would you be my marefriend?" The pegasus' cheeks were flushed. . .her face pale but her cheeks red. There was no love pulsing from her blue pelt, and none shimmered in her distant gaze. She was clearly not in love. This was merely an act of. . .somepony's forcefulness. Starlight shook her head in confusion. Surely not? How in all of equestria could this emotional wreck be lying? She was so heartbroken! Starlight felt fear and frustration writhe in her prickling fur, unease un-stabilizing her hooves. The world shifted like an ever-changing maze beneath her. "Y-You do?" She was out of words, not knowing what to do, how to react. Starlight's shock was replaced by determination. She had a plan. Finally her brain was catching up. And her confusion had blinded her by the truth. . . ~~~~ "Sorry I didn't-Rainbow Dash-"-Twilight's tone was scathing at the rainbow-maned pegasus' name-"get to you sooner about how it was in the throne room." Twilight shot an accusing glance at Rainbow Dash, whose wings were only half-folded and she looked anything but presentable. Starlight Glimmer felt a flash of embarrassment and her ear-tips burned. "Rainbow dash!" She whispered through one side of her mouth, awkwardly leaning into Rainbow Dash, who was sitting on her haunches beside her, "Why in equestria did you. . .decide to look like THAT?!" Her tone was indignant. "I'm sorry, babe." Rainbow Dash's gaze trailed to her hooves as Applejack glared, her eyes a green fire, at Rainbow. Maybe being with this turned-lunatic will be alright, she thought, though no optimism sparked. Starlight Glimmer felt sickness throb in her stomach, flooding out her appetite like a mob of soldiers driving back other soldiers with ease. "May I eat upstairs?" She choked out, her throat tightening. Would doing stuff with Trixie be considered cheating? Surely not? Her mind was walking down the thickly fogged, dark and ominous forest again, trapping itself like a large bird in a small cage. She was desperate for Trixie's affection, but Rainbow Dash's was all she was allowed, according to relationship law. Another stab of sickness nailed into her churning belly and she felt bile rise in her throat. "Whah? Is anythin' embarrassin' ya? Because I hope stealing-" Twilight silenced Applejack with a stern glare, causing the earth pony to snort resentfully. She muttered something, but nopony dared to ask what it was. "So, why do you wanna eat upstairs?" Twilight asked politely. "So, why did you affectionately bite me?" Starlight retorted, anger burning in the pit of her stomach. She felt challenged. "Okay! That's it! take a couple spoonfuls of your dinner and go upstairs!" Twilight chided, her purple face plunging into a bright scarlet. Her ears were flattened and she watched Starlight furiously as the pony whisked a few stalks of celery to her-Trixie's-plate. Then Starlight added five crackers and a jawful of lettuce, hiding her triumph. Thank Celestia Trixie's getting fed tonight! Starlight kissed Rainbow Dash gingerly on the head, who was trembling, and started to plod upstairs to Trixie. Then the emotional wreck galloped after her, muttering under her breath angrily. She turned to Starlight and smiled, waving her hoof convincingly. Starlight waved back. "Hey. What are you doing, following me?" Rainbow Dash whispered something, her teeth clenched and a frown breaking out. "I had to." She rested a wing on Starlight's back. . .Reluctantly. "I feel as though you don't really love me." Starlight confessed, her smile gone. "is something up?" Starlight Glimmer felt a twinge of longing. She had to wait at least fourteen sunrises in order to ask rainbow dash what was up. Maybe I'll get used to it, she thought, only bitterness spreading on her tongue. Silently she willed for Rainbow Dash to at least recover. "You know I wanna be alone right now, right? Princess Twilight sent me up." Starlight confessed awkwardly. "Well," Rainbow Dash's wing stiffened, but not into a wing boner. "I thought she was a little hard on you." The blue Pegasus confessed herself. But Starlight could sense the lie, and she felt her hooves start to shake. There was fear in Rainbow Dash-real fear that was driving her back, fighting her against something, fighting her into something-but what? Starlight couldn't quite put her hoof on it. "Thanks." Starlight gave Rainbow Dash a quick peck on the cheek, though she didn't mean it, not one bit. "I think I wanna eat alone." The lie tasted sour in her mouth, and she scrunched her muzzle. "Okay. . ." Rainbow dash turned with hunched shoulders and sauntered away, back to the throne room. Oh, my. . . Starlight sighed. This is going to be a long month. . .I just wonder what Trixie will do if she finds out. . . //-------------------------------------------------------// Truth or Dare-A shocking end //-------------------------------------------------------// Truth or Dare-A shocking end "Food!" Exclaimed Trixie Lulamoon elatedly, bounding over to Starlight Glimmer and swiping her tongue across her jaws. Starlight Glimmer shut the door with her hind hoof, smiling contently, though fear was slowly rising in her chest. She feared what Trixie would find out. . . "So," Began Trixie, rubbing her hooves together with drool dripping down her chin, watering in her mouth. "How'd you get all this up here?" Starlight stiffened as she set the plate on her table, beside the door, with a small trash full of papers beside it. "W-Well. . ." She drew in a deep breath to get the quaver from her voice. "I did something to make Twilight excuse me." Trixie's ears flattened, stopping mid-chew. She swallowed her food hard before replying; "Starlight, what did you do. . .?" There was suspicion creeping into her skeptical neigh. "I retorted to her; 'why did you bite me?' Something like that." Starlight felt her hooves start to shake. At least that's the truth, she thought, heaving a sigh. "It looks like there's something on your mind." Trixie said, her tone hinted with sexuality. Fear shuddered through Starlight and her fur quivered. "N-no. . ." She whimpered. Trixie licked the food from her lips and went in closer to Starlight, her breath bathing the unicorn's muzzle. "Are you sure? It looks like maybe you wanna. . ." She paused, looking backwards briefly. "Wanna continue our game. . ." She finished happily, stepping back and shoving one last cracker into her mouth before pulling the plastic box full of cards closer. "Oh?" Starlight cringed. She was nearly hoping Trixie would suggest something different. Feeling a twinge of sadness, she plopped herself down on her haunches beside the pony she admired most. "So, where were we?" Trixie spit on her hoof and slicked her chest fur down; it was spiked up everywhere. "She's so cute. . . ." Starlight murmured dreamily under her breath. "What was that?" Trixie asked politely. "O-Oh, nothing. I honestly forget. But last time you asked me first, so now I'll ask you!" Starlight suggested, and when Trixie nodded in consent, she asked 'truth or dare?' in satisfaction. Trixie's eyes narrowed and a cunning smile formed. "Dare." She said simply, full of herself. "Alrighty then." Starlight dragged up a dare card using her aqua-colored magic. "I dare you to lick the pony before yous' hoof. . .until it's sparkling. . ." This was very, very sexual. . .Starlight gulped, fear riding into her as Trixie hesitantly drew into her and started gnawing on her hoof, the blue illusionists tongue scraping against the tough material. Starlight repressed a loving shudder, clenching her teeth and resisting a gasp. Her heart thudded against her chest as a wave of confusing, lustful feelings burst inside of her. Each lick she felt herself tremble with excitement and love, and silently she willed hard for Trixie not to notice. But the unicorn was too soaked up into licking Starlight's hoof to notice, like water soaking into a sponge. Trixie felt contentedness spread through her, the steady licks she was doing soothing herself. She felt the tenseness in her muscles relax and she licked nonchalantly now, the sharp taste of Starlight's hoof satisfying against her smooth tongue. ~~~~ "All shiny." Trixie pulled back smugly, unphased by what she'd just done. No, no, don't stop. . .A part of Starlight Glimmer yearned desperately for Trixie to continue. But, there was other dares she could drool over. "Okay," Began Trixie, "truth or dare?" Starlight disputed over her options in her head. If she chose truth, then Trixie might find something tragic out. . .If she chose dare, she could be the one to return those fervent licks to Trixie. "Dare." "You little toughy!" Trixie gave Starlight a playful shove with her shoulder. She drew up a card happily, a warm smile on her face. She clearly didn't fear the sexuality lurking in the cards. "I dare you to go through the nearest trash, if paper in it." Starlight's face went so numb she doubted she had a face. It was so red it looked like she had morphed into a cherry, even her eyes were stinging from the heat. "Er. . ." She choked out. "Let's look through Twilight's. C'mon, you know teleportation spells!" Trixie urged, her eyes wide. "And what if we get caught?" Starlight raised an eyebrow. "Then I'll defend you." Swiftly Trixie touched her nose to Starlight's ear, affection warming her heart. Starlight was struck by the feeling behind Trixie's words, the actuality. "O-Okay. . .But if we're caught. . ." She gulped hard, apprehension writhing in her bristling fur uneasily. "B-But we can just teleport away!" Trixie's eyes were bulging. "But Twilight can teleport after me! We've done it before!" "Yet you know more spells than her!" Trixie pressed, then added quickly; "Well, how to do more, at least." "Is it really worth it for some dumb truth or dare game?" Starlight snorted, her nostrils whistling slightly. She was obviously unenthusiastic. "Starlight! It'll be so funny! Plus," Trixie's voice dropped to a whisper, her hoof over her mouth and using her let's-do-something-wrong voice; "we could read her diary. . ." Starlight's heart skipped a beat and horror sparked inside of her. "That's way too far!" She exclaimed, taken aback. "Oh, please?" Trixie's bottom lip quivered and jutted out. She flattened her ears in mock somberness. Starlight had to muster up all of her energy to pretend she wasn't scared, though her fur was standing on end timorously. Fear dried out her mouth and blood pounded in her ears, which she pinned back timidly. She could feel herself trembling. What if I can write something in her diary about how accepting my crush on Trixie is necessary? Starlight placed a hoof on her chin thoughtfully and swiveled her ears up. She studied Trixie's desperate purple eyes. But Trixie's here, so no, She conceded. "N-No. . ." Starlight choked out, pinning her ears flat against her skull again. You won't get mad, will you? "Wimp. I'm gonna dare you to do something even wimpier;" Trixie leaned into Starlight, her jaws parted slightly and a smile starting to form. "Would you be a great and powerful friend and tell Trixie who you have a crush on?" A jolt sliced through Starlight, long and sharp. Her flanks shuddered with dark uncertainty. "I-I don't have a crush on anypony. . ." Her gaze slowly trailed to her forehooves, which were now scuffing the ground shyly. "Are you sure?" Trixie pressed, her stomach tightening. Starlight probably doesn't even like you! Cold dread stirred in the pit of Trixie's stomach. She could feel her warm, peanut-buttery breath washing over Starlight's muzzle and bouncing back to her blue own. That's not very appealing, she thought with a resentful snort. "Er. . .Uh. . .Well, do you have a crush on anypony?" Starlight shot back, her fur bristling defensively. Trixie winced. Then she stretched her legs up and lifted her chin. "Pffft, 'course not! The Great and Powerful Trixie doesn't need ponies in her life! Like you. . ." Trixie's voice faltered. She looked up at Starlight somewhat expectantly, but why? Starlight felt her heart molder and tears welled up in her eyes. "Well, I don't need you either!" She gushed, pounding out of the room with tears flying behind her, her mane and tail swishing. Trixie was left dumbfounded. How could she make Starlight believe she loved her? Well, I know a trick that might work. . . She slowly ran her tongue across her jaws. //-------------------------------------------------------// Festering Fun //-------------------------------------------------------// Festering Fun Starlight Glimmer's stomach was churning, and hurt spiked her heart like a thousand knives. Trixie'll never love me! She ran blindly and aimlessly out of the castle, her hooves taking her to Rainbow Dash's cloud-mansion. Her breath was heaving her flanks and scratching against her tightened, throbbing throat. Her pink hackles were spiked in sorrow, and her heart felt empty; well, what was left of it, since it'd just shattered into more than a million pieces. Tears were staining her fur a dark purplish-pinkish. They blurred her vision, and she could just make out what was beyond her snout. "Rainbow Dash!" She uttered a strangled cry, throwing her head back to the blue pegasus' cloud mansion. Suddenly, a massive weight flew on top of her, and the thick scent of peanut butter and smoke bombs practically slapped her nose. Blue fur filled her mouth like furry whipped-cream and choked Starlight, the purple-and-pink-and-mint maned unicorn's hooves scrabbling against the pony's broad shoulders "I love you!" Trixie gasped, throwing her mouth against Starlight's. CANCELLED STORY BUT IF YOU WANT MORE JUST LET ME KNOW
