Chapters Falling in Love with a Country Girl
Rarity knew that this girl was special, and not in a fashion sense. Sure, Rarity had messed around with her fair share of females, but now she wanted to settle down, and the way Applejack was looking, she may as well have been headed there.
"Who exactly was that?" Rarity's assistant, Sassy asked.
"I honestly have no clue, but I intend on finding out." Rarity was staring at the signature, trying to pay attention.
Sassy smiled and continued her work. If she knew Rarity, Applejack would be apart of the group of friends that Rarity hung out with in no time.
"You can close up whenever you feel, darling, I'm going to head home, alright?" Rarity all of a sudden had a lot on her mind, and she didn't know why.
"Yes, that sounds good to me." Sassy said.
Rarity left the boutique and started her walk home. She put in her earbuds, and zipped up her jacket, "cold one tonight," she breathed to herself. She started walking and got lost in her thoughts, she wondered what would happen if her and Applejack got together. Rarity imagined what kind of dates they would go on, or what kind of girl Applejack was. Rarity wasn't sure why she was so interested in Applejack, but she was. Before she knew it, she was home.
As she got in the door, she found her cat Opalescence, waiting for her.
"Hello, darling, how are you?" Rarity smiled as she took out her earbuds, "are you hungry?"
Opalescence looked up at Rarity and let out a small meow.
Rarity smiled, and picked up the white cat, "let's go get you some supper, I have something to tell you."
Opalescence cuddled up to her human, while Rarity walked into the kitchen.
"I met somebody today, Opal. I do not know if she likes me, however," Rarity put Opal down, "her name is Applejack, oh, but I know nothing about her, that's my only problem."
Opal looked at Rarity.
"Right, supper," Rarity said as she reached up into the cupboard for the cat food and bowl, she put the food into the bowl and served it to Opal, "here you are, darling."
Opalescence started eating almost instantly.
"So, about Applejack. She came to my shop today..." Rarity looked at her cat, who obviously wasn't paying attention, "I do feed you, and you do have dry food, spoiled brat."
Opal continued to eat.
"Oh, fine," Rarity admitted defeat, and went up stairs, she knew that she should eat, but who can eat with a lot on their mind? Plus, Rarity had a stash of chocolate placed in various places in her room, if she needed it. As she walked into her room, she sighed, what could be so important about this farmer that Rarity wanted her? Sure, she was beautiful, but what would a country girl, especially someone who didn't know Rarity, want to do with her?
Rarity got some night clothes and went into the bathroom. She knew it was going to be a long night, and she wanted to relax before not getting any sleep. She ran the bath water and put her bath bomb in. She got undressed, revealing her perky fair breasts first, as she let her dress fall. Rarity stepped into her tub, which was a bigger black square tub.
As soon as she hit the water, she let out a sigh, for two reasons, one from the water hitting her body, and two from the exhaustion it took running a business. When she first opened the doors, Rarity's parents warned her, that she was going to get burned out from time to time. Now after a few years, she realized that was true, and now she had to deal with this mysterious Applejack burning into her mind.
Falling in Love with a Country Girl
It was a late fall day, and not much was going on at Carousel Boutique, when the bell rang.
"Is anyone here?" A tall blonde asked.
"Be right with you, darling!" A purple haired woman called from the other room.
"Darlin," the blonde scoffed, "ahm no darlin."
The purple haired woman came out from the back, "how may I help you?"
"Ah need a dress fer ma baby sister an' ah need it fas', mah name is Applejack, that's what it will be under."
"Applejack? Alright darling. I'm Rarity, and I can get this done in no time, I do however need sizes for your sister." Rarity nodded and wrote.
Applejack nodded, "y'all can also call me AJ."
"Aj?" Rarity looked up.
Applejack nodded, "It's a bit easier tah say than Applejack, ah guess."
Rarity nodded, besides the purple hair, she was shorter, and had pale skin, she had blue eyes that made all the men in Ponyville crazy, but the men where Rarity was from also knew they would never have her, because she was a well known lesbian. That alone made her somehow more attractive, but Rarity wasn't sure why, she didn't desire the company of a man.
"Speaking of what to call you, darling, I should call you new around town, am I correct?" Rarity looked at Applejack and smiled.
"Yes, well, sorta, we live on the outskirts of town, an' stop callin' me darlin'" Applejack started to wonder why Rarity was staring at her.
"Sorry, I call everyone darling, it's really who I am, I especially call the pretty ones." Rarity slipped.
"Ahm sorry, what?" Applejack was stunned, she wasn't ugly, but another girl calling her pretty? Applejack was tall, a bit of muscle from years of farm work, freckles and long blonde hair. Her eyes were a shade of green that she got from her late father, her blonde hair from her mother.
"I," Rarity didn't know what to say, "your figure could use some work, but your face is pretty, the shape I mean."
"Oh, uh, thanks ah guess." Applejack knew she was lying.
Rarity simply nodded, almost killing over from embarrassment, "so, like I said, I need sizes for your sister, I say, bring her in sometime this week?"
"Sure, ah'll see what ah can do." Applejack smiled.
"Alright, thank you then." Rarity wrote her number down on her business card, and only sometimes she got daring, so she wrote 'call me' on it, and handed it to the blonde.
Applejack took the card, and shoved it into her skinny jeans and left.
Falling in Love with a Country Girl
Applejack got out of her old truck, after returning to her farm.
"Hi, sis!" Applebloom, Applejack's younger sister yelled across the orchard.
"Howdy. Y'all need tah come with me t'morra," Applejack walked to her sister, who was climbing trees.
"Why?" Applebloom was now looking down at her sister, the difference between them, besides the age, was the fact that Applebloom was a redhead, and Applejack was blonde.
"'Cuz, y'all gotta get fitted fer yer dress. Ah aint yer size no more." Applejack smiled.
"Oh, right. Ah fergot," Applebloom smiled back.
Applejack nodded and went back inside.
"Howdy, little sis," Big Macintosh, the eldest of the Apple children said.
"Heaven's sake, y'all scared me half tah death!" Applejack didn't even make it half way through the door.
Big Macintosh laughed, "Ahm not hard tah miss, ya know."
"Sorry, 'lot on mah mind." Applejack shrugged.
"Wanna talk 'bout it?"
Applejack shook her head, why was that girl at the boutique flirting with her? Did the girl know that Applejack liked girls? She couldn't tell her family, she'd probably be disowned.
"If ya say so, yer lookin' mighty depressed." Big Macintosh slid her a hard cider.
Applejack sighed, "Big Mac, ahm fine," she lied.
"Alrighty then," Big Macintosh was worried about his little sister.
Applejack went up to her room. She needed time alone, and being around her siblings were going to only make her explode. Applejack put her cider on her dresser and layed on her bed, sure she'd been asked by her family when she would find a decent boyfriend, she had one girlfriend before, who's name was Rainbow Dash, but she had to hide that. Applejack didn't want to hide her sexuality anymore, but when she thought she was ready, her fear set her back.
Oh, how she missed Rainbow Dash. Before she knew it, she was staring at the ceiling. Applejack heard some whining coming from her dog, Winona, and rolled on her side.
"Howdy," Applejack said as she petted her Collie.
Winona licked Applejack's hand.
"Ahm alright, ah promise," Applejack lied.
Winona wined more.
Applejack sighed, "Ahm gay, but nobody knows, ah just have a lot on mah mind, ah don't wanna hurt mah siblings, y'all still love me, right?"
Winona barked, which gave Applejack hope. Applejack always felt better after talking to her dog.
Applejack heard a knock on her door, "Applejack?" Big Mac entered.
"Yeah, what's up?" Applejack sat up.
"Dinner," The tall man said as he looked at his sister.
"Alright, be right down," Applejack faked a smile, little did she know, her brother heard it all, but he wasn't going to say anything.
"Alright," he said as he shut the door.
Applejack sighed, and got up. As she walked towards the door she called Winona, who followed her.
