Chapter 2, His Claws Change?!

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Cat 2nd Person

The cat had begun to slowly sneak around the large castle, scouting out to see if anyone was there. He heard two voices, which he could understand. One sounded young and the other sounded like a girl in her late teens. He slowly crept in the halls of the large building, until he found a vacant room that was completely devoid of any objects that should have been there. The only thing there was crystal flooring, and a bag, which he had carried with him.

His bag was enchanted so it could hold very many things. He began rummaging through it and found the cyan blue, glowing metallic bars. They were magic infused alloy bars which he used for many purposes, like lighting up a dark room. He put the three bars back in his bag, and slowly went to sleep, letting his eyes droop every few seconds. The two voices had been rambling on about this cat that was dangerous, or special in some other way.

"Hey, Twilight? Did you hear anything", Spike asked.

"No, Spike, I didn't. What did you hear", Twilight responded in her normal, monotone voice.

"It sounded like rummaging, a clanking sound, rummaging again, then a bag or maybe a saddle pack fall on the ground gently", Spike said as he described the noises. "It all sounded very strange."

Neutral 2nd Person

The cat, on the other hand, was not sleeping even though he was trying his hardest. He was beginning to get cranky, so he got up and went to see what the fuss was about. He jumped up to a point where he could see the hallway they would walk to.

Cat 2nd Person

When they walked in, he could not help but notice that the purple, alicorn... maybe, he didn't know, but he could sense a lot of magic power coming from her. The small dragon, however, was the exact opposite.

He jumped down, signaled his existance with a battle cry, and unsheathed his claws The purple alicorn yelped, turned around, and saw the jet-black cat. The cat's claws began to change color, and the cat knew what was happening. He was channeling a fraction of his magic power, which was very low at the time, and fueling his claws with the magic required to use them effectively.

Neutral 2nd Person

The cat leaped at Twilight, claws extended, and swung with his claws so hard, he probably could have broken a stone statue into thousands of pieces. She dodged just in time, because there was an after-effect that came a few seconds after he swung. A medium-sized gale of magic thrust out and dented the crystal walls. Twilight had noticed the claws were originally white, but now they were black, and magic power emanated from it.

The cat had gotten frustrated, so he activated both of his eyes, which burned a light blue aura, and began to summons skull of what looked like a hybrid of a reptilian and dragon. It began to open its jaw, but nothing happened. The skull disappeared into thin air, and the cat's two eyes were no longer their glowing light blue. Yet they were an icy, calm blue. When Twilight walked up, she could tell that the cat had passed out.
