In a world where Rainbow Dash hasn't fully accepted Tank's hibernation, she wants him to come back sooner to spend time with him. But an unknown magical force is able to do just that, bring him back from hibernation.

This takes place after the episode "Tank's for the Memories". Rainbow Dash tries to cope with Tank not being by her side. 23 days later, she gets a mysterious watch for Hearth's Warming that can bring Tank back for a day. As she has fun in the snow, Twilight and Rarity suspect that the watch might be cursed, Fluttershy is worried about Tank's health, Pinkie is worried about Rainbow Dash in general and Applejack connects with her because something similar happened to her. After the watch threatens to kill Tank, Rainbow Dash is told by the princesses that the watch is a Demon Foal, an old foe of theirs that absorbs grief that Rainbow must defeat in order for Tank to be safe.
This story is also in the progress of becoming an audio drama.
