I woke up to the feeling of sunshine on my face. The warmth of the sun causing my muscles to relax. I felt a familiar presence next to my side. I looked down, only to see my beloved still sleeping with with a small smile spread on across her muzzle. I watched as her chest slowly rose and fell at the steadiness of her breathing.

I smiled to myself as i took in the beauty of my love, Celestia. She seemed so peaceful. Her beautiful pink mane shimmering in the sunlight. Her snow white coat, softer that the clouds themselves. I wish she could be awake so I can stare at those amazing purple eyes. Her horn as long as a pony's arm, sharpened to a point. Her magnificent wings tucked into her side as she curled in closer. We have been together for One hundred years now, and they have been the best in my life.
So many nights with us staring at the stars in the sky. Playing in the fields of peace trying to catch one another only for me to begin kissing her lips in the bask of the sunlight. While replaying those memories I looked towards the clock in the room on the night stand. It said it was noon. I decided i can stay in for a bit longer. As i was about to close my eyes a certain brother of mine intruded.

" Rise and shine, lovers!" my intolerable brother screamed as he burst through the door. I felt Celestia jump awake at the sudden intrusion

"Dammit Discord, we were still sleeping!" I yelled, only to regret it after I saw my love wince in pain. Guilty by my action I apologized by laying a soft kiss above her horn. She quickly settled down.

" Yes brother i know, that's why it was so much fun!" he laughed. I glared daggers at him noticing his appearance. Discord and I looked nothing alike.
The fact is that since he was a Draconequus he had many different animal parts as limbs. He stood at 10', if he was not floating. He had a lion paw for a right arm and eagle talon for the other.

His hind legs composed of a dragons leg and ponies. His tail was also of a serpents that was red with black hair at the end. He also had two wings that were of a Pegasus and bat pony. Even though he was a few hundred years younger than me, he was already starting to grow a beard on his chin. Since he was a birth defect he was born with two yellow eyes with red pupils. One of his pupils was bigger than the other. On the top of his head he had two small horns that were almost covered by his long black hair going down his Griffin like body. One of the horns looked like it belonged to a deer. The other one was a complete mystery to us.

" Discord" I groaned "please just go back down stairs and make us some breakfast"

" Why of coarse brother, I would love nothing better" he smiled
" alright" he said as I got out of my bed with Celestia trying to pull me in.
I saw him snap his fingers as he teleported downstairs and started to pull out plates.Thinking of Discords stupid pranks I walked to the door"Don't put anything in it!" I yelled down stairs.
I walked to the bathroom to prep myself for the day.
I closed the door behind me and looked at my reflection in the mirror. I cringed at how old i looked even though I was only 600. I had bags forming under my dragon slitted eyes. I also noticed I looked to be gaining some weight as a small bulge came over my stomach.

" Fuck, i'm old" I groaned. I proceeded to brush my sharp fangs and canine teeth. I also washed my face to get the sleepiness out. When done I stared at my reflection. My red scales gleaming from the light. My sharp claws that would scratch anything I touched still as pointy as ever. I stretched my dragon like wings to make sure they un- stiffen. It was sometimes hard to believe me and Discord were brothers. We were born from The certain powers that started in this world. We were not the same blood, but our spirits were in a way similar.

He was chaos, I Mayhem. Our spirits had the similar aspect of disorder. He resembled the disorganization of his body as the whole definition of chaos. I looked like a blood thirsty demon dragon who will kill anything in my way. Since Mayhem is a lot more violent way of chaos. Ironically I was not like that at all.

I was referred to be a lot more loving and peaceful. I may get a bit angry sometimes, but you know you might if you had to live with my brother.I don't fully understand why Celestia decided I was 'the perfect mate' she once said but I did not complain. I was happy she could accept me. I finished up with cleaning myself and I went to go downstairs. As I exited the bathroom and I saw Celestias still sleeping form, I chuckled.She sure loves her sleep, I thought.
I opened the door to go downstairs. As I went down stairs, I checked if there were any vines I needed to cut. We lived in a small burrow next to a river that led to a small town. It was nice and it provided with all we needed, but the underground elements were a chore to hold back.

I made it downstairs and found the "kitchen", which was just a little area with a small lava pool I made for heat and baking. Our dining area was just a few rocks as seats with a large rock slab as a table.Living the dream, I thought. As I sat down I saw my food being served by Discord. "Thank you brother" I said as I started to cut my pancakes.
"No problem" he said as he started to walk out through a small hatch which was the exit.
"Where are you going?" I asked, still cutting my pancakes.
He stopped and looked back"Oh no where. Just thought I would go for a quick stroll"
I raised my eyebrow, not fully believing him." Alright" I said slowly. He continued to climb out of the hatch until it closed behind him.

Before I could eat my chocolate pancakes I heard hoofsteps coming from the stairs. I smiled seeing Celestia finally awake and up. She didn't seem tired, she might of washed up as well. She grabbed a couple pancakes and put them on a emerald plate she grabbed from the small area we keep our dishes.She sat down with a 'humf' "Morning love" I said as I kissed her cheek." Is LuLu up?" i asked.
She grabbed a small diamond knife and fork and began to cut her pancakes.
"No, she is never going to get out of the habit of staying up late." She sighed eating a piece of pancake.
"It might just be in her system. She does seem more like a night owl."This caused Celestia to nod. " So, any plans for today?" I asked noticing my pancakes getting cold.

" I was thinking that we could go to our secret little cave." She said with eyes full of passion. I smiled as I took a bite of my pancakes. What I didn't expect was to taste something foul. I looked at the pancakes gaging with tears forming in my eyes. What I saw made my hair on my head, neck, and tail to start spurting flames. What I saw was little lumps of Shit in the Pancakes. "DISCORD!" I Roared.

Celestia Pov 50 years later

I awoken to the sound of birds chirping. I felt a slight warmth as my senses came back to me. That warmth was also very smooth. Curious I looked behind me to find a sight that made my heart melt. There sleeping was Cretan, he was huddled up against me. I felt him move slightly, trying to get closer to me.The memories came back to me at that moment. I blushed slightly, remembering the fun we had.

Feeling a bit off today I quickly stood from the bed and walked to the bathroom to see why I was feeling weird. I closed the door behind me as I inspected myself. I instantly blushed knowing the odd feeling. I could feel my nethers seem a bit warm. I remembered that this week was heat week. This also brought panic to my mind,horrible thoughts ran through my mind as I rubbed my belly. Shaking my head in doubt I just stood up with determination and walked out of the bathroom."No, this is not to happen, i'm sure." I thought as I went back to bed to be with the one I loved.

1 month later

I stared at my reflection, Thinking to myself."No, this cannot be". This past month I have been acting more reactant to simple actions. I have snapped at Discords silly acts like I have never before. Me and Cretan have been arguing a lot recently. I have also been consuming a lot of different foods. Even things I have never thought of eating before. I was not sure what it was before, but now I think I have a clue. I needed to know if I was right.

I quickly teleported to the old library in the forgotten woods. I roamed the library, searching for the book I was after. An hour later of searching I have finally found it. Opening the book I read the spell and directions on how to do it. It said the spell will make one glow if they have a life in them, such like carrying a foal. I quickly put the book down and lit my horn, casting the spell on myself.

I shut my eyes in concentration as the spell was charging. I felt the energy being needing release so I let it, making the energy flow through me. I opened my eyes only to my horror. I glowed. "No this cannot be true " I thought to myself. Thinking back 20 years ago I remembered what the prophet said about my future when I found a wooden house in the forest.

"Be careful young one, your future is clear but it is not done. When given life from your dearly beloved, you will see that it will become very destructive. The world will be destroyed by your child you see, but it is a choice by you not me" the old mare croaked.
I left thinking the mare was mad. Now thinking If I go through this, my child will destroy all of Equestria. I can't let that happen. What can I do? A thought came into mind and I searched for the book. It was in the same section as the other book. Looking at book I read the title.
"To take away the life within." I gulped as I opened the book. Before I casted the spell I thought about Cretan. What would he think if I did this. Would he forgive me? Will he seek me out for vengeance. Knowing the risk I prepared my horn to cast."I'm sorry my love, but this is to protect all." I said as I cast the spell.

2 days later

I sat there tears threatening to come out as I stared at a foal basket. Those would have been perfect for it. It would have been a good present for the foal.

Ever since I did the spell I've never felt so, empty. Like all the life has been drained from me.In a way, it was. I have been avoiding Cretan, not by being afraid if he found out. I just couldn't look into his eyes, knowing I killed his innocent child. I cried every night, regretting what I have done.I would then remember what would happen if I let it live. I stood there, a tear rolling down my cheek.
The sales pony waved at me" Ya alrigh miss?" he asked looking concerned. Wiping the tear away I nodded.
" Yes i'm alright." I walked away to a new booth that had bananas for sale.

As I was about to buy a stalk I felt a slight tremor. Looking at the ground I raised an eyebrow, wondering what that was. I felt it again, this time it was much stronger. I looked up at the direction of my home, It felt like it was coming from the forest. It was probably a new monster emerging.The forest always had new creatures coming from that place. The only reason this town is not destroyed is because Cretan defended it. I activated my horn, getting ready to defend these ponies. What I saw next made my blood go cold. In the distance I saw Cretan. He was on fire and the ground burned all around him. I could see the look on his face, it was pure rage.

"CELESTIA" I heard him roar. The ground shook with his words. I was petrified.
"Did he know, how?" I started to sweat. He started to approach me. " Cretan, what is..." I was cut off as he blew a stream of fire at me. Thinking quick i pulled up a shield that withstood the attack, barely.
" You shut your mouth you bitch!" ponies gasped at his words. "You killed it, you killed my child!". Even more ponies gasped,some even fainted or looked at me with pity.
"I had no choice!" I cried back.
"What do you mean!" he yelled stepping closer while I backed away.
"The prophet, she said our child would lead to Equestrias destruction. I did it to save these ponies!" I said as I pointed at the ponies behind me.

" Did you even think of telling me this!" he screamed."Did you think of how I would feel of you killing my child?!" he stomped.

"I was afraid. I couldn't bare to tell you. How did you find out anyway?" I said wondering how he found out even though I told no one and put the books away. I swear if Discord followed me and told him what I did I will Hunt that Chaos spirit down and feed him his limbs.

"I already knew. I felt the life within you when the heat week was done.I knew I would get you pregnant. That is why I put up with your shit at home. The next month I noticed the feeling gone. I didn't feel any life in you. I looked in the old library for answers. I found the magic residue of two certain spells, and I knew what those spells were." he said with flames forming in his hands.

"Please, don't do this. I am sorry, but it would have been dangerous and it would have hurt these ponies" I cried. He roared and shot his flames from his hands.

I quickly shot to the sky avoiding the fire. I looked down, only to my horror to see him burning the town. Screams, that is all i could hear. Screams of the ponies I tried to protect being burned to ashes. The ponies I sacrificed my child to. "Cretan! Please stop. Don't do this!" I cried.

"NEVER!" he roared. I flew down to stop him only to be knocked aside by his tail. I collided with a tree as I passed out.

I woke to a bright light. Blinking the grogginess out of my eyes I slowly stood up. My chest hurt and it was hard to breath. I was pretty sure I had a few ribs cracked. I looked out to find the bright light, only to see the burning town. Houses, Trees, the holy fountain that showed my mothers statue. It all burned. I heard a choked sob ahead of me. What I saw broke my heart. I saw a small filly, probably only 5 years old. She had a lime green coat with a silver mane and her whole body was covered in ash. Next to her was Cretan, a blank look on his face.

"Well Celestia, took you long enough. I was about to just kill this filly" as soon as he said that the filly started to cry her eyes out.

"Please Cretan, this is not you. Just let the filly go" I said, holding back my tears. He tsked, slowly circling around the filly like a shark to it's prey.

"I am sorry, but I can't do that. You took my child for all these ponies to live" he said pointing at the burning town."If you can take my childs life for them, can you give yours to save her?" He said pointing at the filly.

"Cretan, let her go.She is not part of this." I cried.

"So you saying that you wouldn't give your life for this ,beautiful filly." he said kneeling down next to the filly, holding her shoulder.
I did not answer. I didn't want to.
"You here that" he whispered into the filly's ear, slowly running a claw down her cheek," She doesn't want to save you. How selfish" he finished pulling down cutting the filly causing she scream in pain.
"Stop!" I yelled with anger starting to consume me.

"The only way to stop me is to kill me" he said standing up. I started to sob."I c-cant'. I'm sorry, please don't do this" i cried falling on my hind legs.
He said nothing, only glared. He then picked up the filly with his magic by the neck, choking her. I could see the life draining from her face. Before I knew it I heard a loud 'CRACK' with the filly's head twisting around.
He snorted a puff of smoke and threw the body at my hoofs. I stared into the lifeless eyes of the filly. She was dead. She lost her whole life ahead of her. It was all because I was too scared. I began to feel sick." This is only going to end one way, Celestia" he said while standing in front of me.
I cant do this. I wont watch anymore innocent ponies die. No more. NO MORE. I looked up and flew at him, tackling him to the ground. He used his hind leg and kicked me forwards a few feet with me landing on my face. I shook off the dizziness and quickly stood up only to see him about to blast me with fire. I pulled up a shield to block it. When it the fire ended I dropped the shield starring daggers at him. He stared back. Knowing i can't fight him with my magic I quickly took to the air heading towards the forest.
" You can't run!" I heard him yell behind me as he also took flight.

I dodged and weaved as he shot balls of fire and magic at me. I quickly went down into the trees so I can hide. Before I could I felt him blast me with a beam of magic in my side. I lost control of my flying and I crashed down into the ground below. I fell through the ground into a small cave. I was too dazed to see anything, so I laid there to rest my body.
A minute later I decided it was time to get up. Groaning as I got up I noticed a light in the room. I looked around to see big roots. I followed the roots until I saw something I did not believe exist. It was the Tree of Harmony.

" I've found the Tree of Harmony!" I awed as I took in the sight. The tree itself seemed to be made of crystal like my mother told me. There were 6 branches sticking out of the base that had gems on each end. Each one was different color. Those were the Elements. There were also small crystal vines hanging from the branches. I took in the beauty of it all. Knowing I found a sacred treasure. I felt happy again, until I heard a roar from behind me.

I looked back in fear to see Cretan standing there with flames all around his body.
"No where to run!" he yelled.
I looked at the tree and quickly grasped the crystals from the tree. I pulled them towards me and turned around as I quickly thought on how to activate them. If I did I could use their sacred power I could Stop Cretan from Destroying this place and Equestria. Cretan started to charge at me with full speed.

Time seemed to slow down as he charged. I quickly thought to myself. The elements consisted of Loyalty, Laughter ,Kindness. Generosity, Honesty, and Magic. I quickly thought of all the moments in my life which consisted those. I remembered being loyal to Cretan. How I trusted him being who he was and never leaving his side. I remember making Cretan laugh with joy whenever we went out in the forest together. I remember being kind to him when he sometimes lost his temper. I easily calmed him down with affection from my heart. I remembered Generosity, whenever he was not feeling well or couldn't do a task I always volunteered to do it for him. Not letting things like getting muddy or hurt to stand in my way. I remembered Honesty, whenever we confessed with each other about our feelings, I always told him from the depth of my heart. As I thought of these moments the Elements started to glow bright and Circle me. I looked at the last element thinking of the friendship and love I still had for him. The Element of Magic Started to glow too. I focused all the magic from the Elements into a Simple blast spell. I aimed it right at Cretan. The next thing I knew was a rainbow coming out of the Elements colliding with Cretan before I passed out.

I woke up in a daze. Everything was a big blur. I opened and closed my eyes a few times to try and get them to focus. When my sight started to clear up I stood and looked around. I noticed to be a bit taller when I stood. When I used to be 5'5", I now stood at 6'3". I also noticed the elements laying scattered across the floor around me. I also felt something a bit soft on my back. Looking back I saw what seemed to be a partial rainbow cloud. It also moved like as if an invisible wind was going through it. I pulled on it with my magic only for my head to jerk back. Surprised I double checked and found it to be my mane. I looked down and also saw my tail to be in the same fashion. Shocked I stroked it, memorized by its unique pattern. Turning around to leave I walked face to Cretan, only he was made of stone.

I simply stared at the eyes of my once lover. He held out his arms in a blocking manner, His eyes full of hate. Too scared to say anything I slowly raised a hoof to touch it. Laying my hoof against his claw I began to tear up. He was gone. I lost him. I fell to the ground sobbing and trembling. I soon cried myself to sleep. I soon woke up later feeling sick. I quickly recalled all that has happened before I fell asleep.
With tears still in my eyes I slowly stood up. I looked at Cretan to still see him in his stone form. I slowly walked towards him and planted a soft kiss on his muzzle. Pulling away slowly I made sure to grab all the elements before I left the cave. Looking up at the night sky I unfurled my wings, preparing to fly. Before I did I looked back at my once lover. I stared for a few minutes before a tear slid down my face. "Goodbye, I will never forget you" I whispered before I looked up again and flew out into the night sky.

This is what Cretan looks like. Imagin him smaller with smother scales and green eyes.This took forever to write. I did it all in one day. I have never written so much in my life. My fingers feel like they are bleeding. I think this chapter can be a whole story itself. More will come but not as long as this. Or i might just make a few very long chapters like this. This is only the beginning as there is a lot more blood before Cretans thirst is settled.
