Sweetie Belle then looked at Button Mash. An idea came to her mind.

Right when the words were screamed out, Sweetie Belle gave him a peck on the cheek. Button Mash stared at Sweetie Belle in shock.
"Happy New Year, Button." she smiled.
Button Mash smiled.
"Happy New Year." Button smiled.
They walked out of the room to get away from the craziness and loud volume. They stood on the balcony.
"So, what was your resolution, Button?" Sweetie Belle asked. "Mine was I would get my cutie mark." She stared at her flank.
You be my Special Somepony. he said in his head, but really said, "A surprise."
Sweetie Belle smiled, demanding him to tell her, shoving him, trying to get him to say it. But he kept it secret. She finally gave up.
"You drive me crazy." she said.
