Pikmin (Because I couldn't think of a better title)
A * represents a sound.
It was a bright, sunny day in Ponyville. A slight, genital breeze brushed the ground and all matter on, above, or below it. The shops selling fresh goods, and a sent of cupcakes and cakes emerged from Sugar Cube Corner.
The lavender mare known as Twilight Sparkle has recently been practicing a spell she was going to show to her five friends. She didn't tell anypony as it was to remain a secret.
*Knock knock knock. "I'll get it." Twilight's purple and green dragon assistant called out. Spike ran to the door, and opened it for the five mares behind it. One, a cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane. Another a yellow pegasus with a light pink mane. A third all pink, bouncing up and down happily. A forth white, with a perfect purple mane. And the last was orange with a yellow mane with red ties and a cowpony hat.
"Come in." Twilight said to the other five.
"So... what's this new spell of yours?" The orange farm pony known as AppleJack asked.
"It's a secret, remember?" The bouncy pink pony known as Pinkie Pie responded. AppleJack simply nodded her head. Twilight's horn started to glow, then the six were whisked away in a flash of light.
Somewhere...
There was a flash of purple light, then six ponies took it's place. The five mares (besides Twilight) were confused at the sudden change of scenery.
"Why are we out here?" Rarity asked.
"Safety measures," Twilight answered. The others nodded in understanding.
"Here," Pinkie Pie said as she gave Twilight a measuring tape. She looked at it in confusion for a second, but then understood.
"Not that kind," the lavender pony said.
"Oh."
"Anyway..." The rainbow maned pony said.
"I'll use this rock as a test subject," Twilight said, pointing to a tan rock (a strangely square rock). Her horn started to glow, and so did the rock. Something started to happen, but was changed. Wind started to blow, and and what seemed to be a small tower sprouted from the rock. Then a large clear box appeared around them. Strange objects and shapes started to sprout off the rock, now becoming mechanical including objects like gears.
"Oh no," Twilight said to herself.
"What did you do?" Rainbow asked.
"I'm not sure..."
"What were you meaning to do?"
"A shrinking spell..."
"..." Outside the impenetrable box, time started to flow super fast. Then they shrunk. During the time-speed up thing. They grew to about an inch in size, and after a few seconds, they blacked out.
Olimar was on vacation. He was taking a well deserved trip away from home. He had convinced his family it was to dangerous to come. Plus, he wanted to see some old friends. (Fun fact, did you know Olimar's Japaneses name is Mario's name backwards? Oh, and for the sake of the story, we will be able to understand Olimar.) He was the most achieved worker (and was one of few) at the Hocatate Fright long-haul company. He was going to the planet for the forth time, reason being this time, to see the Pikmin, some old friends.
He soon landed, and was almost instantly greeted by Pikmin. All was the same, but he saw something new. (He did have his talking ship. This story was written before the release of Pikmin 3, but the new Pikmin had been confirmed, but not much talked about, so I am making up my own attributes for them.) It was a Pikmin, but most of its body was made of rock, and it had a light purple flower on its head. He saw no Onion for it, but something strange. Well, it looked sort of like an onion, but made of rocks. (Remember, I am making up my own stuff for the rock Pikmin, I don't know how you would normally go about obtaining and farming them.)
"Scanning," Olimar's ship said as it scanned a rock Pikmin (Let's call the ship George for now, unless you all can think up something better). "Rock Pikmin seem to have a resistance to fire and electricity, and cannot be eaten by most enemies," George said. Olimar also noticed that normal pellets from the Pellet Poesy and the rock Pikmins' onion didn't work together to well. Whenever a normal pellet went into the rock onion, the onion would spit it out. But there did seem to be some rocky flowers, whose rock-like pellets did seem to work with the rock onion, but not normal onions.
After some playing with the Pikmin, a strange event occurred. I'll make this quick. To sum it up, you know, portal/vortex thing appears and takes Olimar and his ship, leaving the Pikmin behind. Blah blah blah, the usual unexplained transportation thing. Bye.
Pikmin (Because I couldn't think of a better title)
Olimar had managed to board his ship during fall into the vortex thing.
The six ponies woke up, and looked at their surroundings. Snow. Just snow. And the big rock thing.
"Yay, we're tiny!" the Pink pony happily said.
"That's not a good thing," Twilight said.
"Oh."
"Burr... was it supposed to snow?" Rarity asked.
"Not that I know of," Rainbow responded.
"So... now what do we do?" The yellow pony said quietly.
"Maybe I can reactivate that stone and send us back," Twilight said.
"Will that work?" the farm pony asked.
"I'm not sure, but it's worth a shot."
Twilight's horn started, and the rock thing started to react.
"10, 9..." Pinkie counted.
"What are you counting?" Rainbow inquired.
"The time until the ship destroys that rock." She simply answered. "Now, 3, 2-"
"Wait, WHAT?!" Rainbow exclaimed.
"0" Pinkie finished. Right then, a large vortex opened in the sky and a Pure Gold rocket ship fell out of it, and, sure enough, landed on and destroyed the rock the rock object. *BOOM*
"WHAT THE HAY?!" Twilight exclaimed. The gold rocket landed, and out poped a strange biped creature, wearing a space suit with a red antenna on top. It also had a strange sized nose. (More to come later.)
