Failed Earth pony chef-turned-writer Silver Sieve chases the Equestrian dream around the city of Neigh Orleans with some help from his Pegasus partner, Amber Bead, and her sturdy lockbox. Writing from a long time after the actual events, Silver recollects the hazy, misbegotten misadventures with his friend, full of hallucinations, fear, and an occasional dose of normality in an otherwise strange and twisted existence.
