Ebony Curtains, or just Ebon for short, is tired of the drama of life, simply desiring to live as a musician, a drummer in the Starlit Moon Night Club. He is a shy introvert, preferring to read books at his pleasantly quiet apartment rather than spending his nights at the bar. Unfortunately, a part of the past life that he ran away from jumps up at him in the most unexpected way possible, and he meets somepony that he thought he would only see in his happiest dreams....or his darkest nightmares. Forced into a deadly mission of survival, Ebon reluctantly joins forces with the very same pony from his past that he wanted to forget about the most in order to keep his life intact.
