Hiccup was outside of the testing room in Twilight's castle, pacing around in circles.

"Hiccup, please stop pacing, this is almost as annoying as the time I caught the Scurge of Oden." Astrid said.

"Don't bring the Scurge up." Hiccup said as he continued pacing.

"Wait, Astrid caught the Scurge?" Valka asked.

"Listen, I know you're worried, but I'm sure Twilight has this, I mean, she's an alicorn, or whatever." Astrid said.

"I know, but still! What if Twilight can't do anything? What if Toothless..."

"I say the lad has the right to worry, and besides, where is he gonna get another night fury? Those things aren't common, ya know." Gobber said.

"Not helping, Gobber." Astrid said.

Just then, the door opened and Twilight walked out.

"How is he?" Hiccup asked.

"He'll be okay, for now, he's still unconscious, but I think we can save him." Twilight replied.

"You think? You have to know! Can't get Discord to you know, do his chaos thingy?" Hiccup asked.

"I'm not talking to Discord, especially after what went down at dinner." Twilight said.

"Please don't let some petty argument get in the way of Toothless's life! You have to ask him for help!" Hiccup pleaded.

"You can go ask him, here are directions to Fluttershy's cottage, he'll probably be there, or you can just get her to call his name, that usually works." Twilight said as she handed Hiccup the directions.

"Thank you, come on Toothless, let's go!" Hiccup said, momentarily forgetting about why they needed to go Fluttershy's in the first place.

"We can walk." Astrid said.

"Right." Hiccup said as they headed out of the castle.

The pair walked to Fluttershy's cottage, it was a ways away, being near the Everfree forest and all, but they made it, and they knocked on the door.

"Just a minute!" a muffled voice said.

The door opened to reveal Fluttershy wearing her bathrobe.

"Oh, it's you two, what are you doing here?" Fluttershy asked suspiciously.

"We need Discord to help us." Hiccup said.

"Hm, I'm not sure if I should help your kind, especially since you eat poor, defenseless animals!" Fluttershy said angrily.

"I'm guessing she didn't fully except Twilight on the whole, eating meat, case." Astrid whispered.

"You're darn right I didn't!" Fluttershy said.

"We're sorry, but it's all that we can really eat, especially since we can't really grow crops in the winter." Hiccup said.

"You couldn't just stock up over the warmer months?!"

"Well, for starters, we get nine months of snow, and we don't really get the seeds we would need on Berk." Astrid said.

"You couldn't just get the food from that trader Yohan guy?!"

"How do you-"

"Discord, although I told him not to, he snooped around and told me everything he could find out about your world." Fluttershy said.

"Like what?"

"Like for a couple of months, you lived on an island that you named Dragon's Edge, and there was a claim stone on said island that named your twin-friends, Ruffnut, and Tuffnut the rulers, and that they named you the stable boy, as well as banning the letter S. And that you also saved their two-headed dragon, Barf and Belch, and then they owed you life debt, causing you to punch Snotlout, your extremely unlikable friend who is way stronger than you." Fluttershy said.

"Wow, Discord's good." Astrid said.

"Yes, he is, but I still don't understand why I like him." Fluttershy pondered.

"Enough about your love life! We need Discord's help!" Hiccup said.

"Why do you need his help?" Fluttershy asked.

"My dragon, Toothless, hit the ground to hard and went unconscious because he can't fly without a proper rider!" Hiccup said.

"Oh yeah, I understand, I'll go get Discord." Fluttershy said as she went upstairs.

"Thank Thor Discord snooped and told Fluttershy, he saved us an explanation." Hiccup said.

"He sure did." Astrid replied.

Fluttershy went and told Discord, who immediately teleported everyone, and pony, to Twilight's testing room.

"What? How did we get here?" Hiccup asked when they appeared in the testing room.

"I teleported you, now let's see what I can do here." Discord said as he examined the hurt dragon.

One hour had passed and Hiccup was waiting outside of the testing room, pacing once again.

"How long could it possibly take for a chaos being to heal a dragon?!" Hiccup asked.

Just then, the doors opened and Discord walked out, looking grim.

"I'm, sorry, Hiccup." Discord said.

"No, nononono! It can't be! Please! No!" Hiccup said, Astrid rushed over and hugged him.

"It'll be okay, Hiccup." Astrid said.

"First my dad, then my best friend! What's next?"

"Ha! Just kidding! Toothless is perfectly fine! I put a healing spell on him ages ago!" Discord said.

"I'm not sure if I should be happy of mad." Hiccup said.

"Ah, I just wanted to pull at your heartstrings a little bit, it' really entertaining when you're sad, especially when you lose someone you love!" Discord said.

"How do you-"

"I was snooping and saw a flashback of you when you lost your father, entertaining, but heartbreaking." Discord said.

"You sound so much like Daggur." Hiccup said as he face palmed.

"Oh, please, I'm not that psychotic and emotionless!" Discord said as he pulled everybody in for a hug.

"You sure seem like it sometimes." Twilight said as she walked into the room.

"Oh, the egghead is back, I believe you have something to say to me." Discord said.

"Well, I believe it's the other way around." Twilight said.

"You two! Stop fighting and just apologize! You both need to say sorry, and you both need to be nice in front of our guests!" Fluttershy scolded.

"Not until the egghead apologizes." Discord mumbled.

"No! You both will apologize at the same time!" Flutteshy said.

"Fine. I'm sorry." the two said reluctantly.

"That's better." Fluttershy said.

"Oh, Hiccup, Toothless will have to stay here for an extra week so he can heal, traveling through dimensions will hurt him too much and he might actually die, so, I'd recommend you stay here and wait for him to heal, the others can go back if they want, but you should probably stay." Discord explained.

"But wait, couldn't you just poof him back to health or something? I mean, you do have endless power." Twilight said.

"Right, right, that was just a plot device to get you to stay longer." Discord said.

"A what device?"

"Nevermind, I can just poof him back to health, but that does take all of the fun out of it." Discord mumbled.

"Okay, can you do that so we can go home soon?" Hiccup asked.

"Yes, yes. I'm on it." Discord said as he walked back into the testing room.

"So, Hiccup, I had this idea to start a hall of portals." Twilight started.

"A hall of what?"

"Portals, they're gateways to different dimensions and universes. Anyway, I was thinking that we could have Discord create a portal to your dimension, so we wouldn't have to go through the trouble of exhausting himself by teleporting you through different dimensions whenever I have a question, and it would be a good way to communicate." Twilight explained.

"That does make sense, but why would you need a hall when you would only have two portals?" Hiccup asked.

"Well, we would keep adding more portals by having Discord teleport more humans through dimensions, and we could make new friends, and study your species even more!" Twilight said.

"I love the idea! I'll get to work on the portal immediately!" Discord said as he teleported into the room.

"How long will that take?" Hiccup asked.

"Oh, about a second, maybe less." Discord said.

"Alright, I'll go find a hall, or room to put them in!" Twilight said as she walked off.

"So, can I go see Toothless?" Hiccup asked.

"Sure, but you should let him rest, he needs it." Discord said.

Hiccup walked into the room to find Toothless sleeping peacefully on a large bed.

"It's gonna be alright, bud."
