In the midst of the night, as all is laid to rest, a household in Appleloosa was active, its workers still at work to keep the house maintained. As a lone maid is sent to do her duties, a calm night turns dark, as the master was killed by unknown entity.

Accused of doing the deed that she denies doing, two rookie defense attorneys were called to serve as her defense, to prove her innocent of the crime. Will they succeed, or will their inexperience lead to the demise of an innocent pony? The fate of their client lies in their hooves.
