//-------------------------------------------------------// Remembering The Princess -by Evictus- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Seeing An Old Friend //-------------------------------------------------------// Seeing An Old Friend Twilight Sparkle was sitting down as she was quietly looking at a photo of Celestia and her together. It's been a few years since she was killed and Twilight was remembering her as the today was the day of her death. She hugged the picture picture tightly it was the photo of her and Celestia together at Canterlot. She has missed Celestia dearly. She has been going to therapy to talk about her feelings of what happened so she has been doing a lot better. She set the photo down and went to go out for a walk. She kept walking and came upon Celestia's casket buried under a statue of her. She took a deep breath as she saw it. There it was in all of it's glory. It was the best memorial crafted in Equestria. Most ponies who saw it said it honored Celestia and if Celestia would have seen it she would have loved it herself. Twilight continued to walk torwards it. She loved the memorial and she agreed that the ponies who built it put so much detail into it. She almost started to break down and cry when she saw it as she remembered all of the things she did with her. She knew that Rarity came to see it earlier today as she didn't want to make Twilight uncomfortable since her and Celestia were the ones who set it up. She never made Rarity feel bad about it though. Twilight touched the statue lovingly. She walked up and placed down a flower bouquet and stepped back to look at her statue. The statue was extravagant as it portrayed Celestia standing victoriously on a hilltop. She looked at the engraving which said our beloved ruler and it had Celestia's name on it. Twilight knew that it was a good thing to visit Celestia. She came every year and also came during some months as well. She closed her eyes remembering Celestia. She cried for a bit. She then opened them and wiped her tears. She sat down as she remembered Celestia lovingly. She also thought about Celestia's old throne. She knew that Rarity also comes to visit Celestia but she made sure not to make Twilight uncomfortable when she went. Twilight didn't mind though as she didn't blame Rarity. She didn't blame Celestia or blamed Rarity as it would be insensitive to Rarity as Celestia and Rarity were good friends. Tears threatened to escape Twilights eyes. She let a few loose and wiped away the rest as she just wanted to visit Celestia. She felt like she wanted to stay there for a while but she knew she would have to go home sometime as she would need to feed Spike soon so she opted to stay for a few moments and then go back home. She sat there smiling up at Celestia's statue. She just smiled as she admired it as the statue almost captured Celestia's magnificence. It was a great statue built in honor of her but it will not be as great as Celestia herself. She missed Celestia and she thought about the moments she had with Celestia. She also remembered the history of her which was good. Whenever she remembered the only good moment of the night of the last day Celestia was alive she smiled sadly as she looked back at their last moment together before Celestia went to see Rarity. She didn't like to think about what happened after but she did sometimes anyway if whenever somepony mentioned it around her or if she was reading about it. She then looked at Celestia's statue a few more moments and then got up and left. She was happy that she got to see Celestia. She smiled as she went back remembering all the good times they had. She walked back home and when she got home she fed Spike and Spike thanked her. Spike then started eating and Twilight went to her room. She got up to her room and then she sat down on her bed and looked at some of her old letters which were archived in a book that was designed in a beautiful manner in honor of Celestia. Celestia would have loved the book if she was there. She smiled as she read them as it felt bittersweet to her. She went through each one reading it over and remembering each day it was associated with. She also got to Celestia's last present to her which was a necklace with a picture of her and Celestia in a locket. She touched it to her heart and smiled. She took a deep breath and went through a few more photos of her. She then closed it and went through a few drawings she made of Celestia and her together. They were a bit silly but Celestia didn't mind them in fact Celestia loved them and told Twilight they had brightened her day on several occasions. She also went to the last photo taken of her and Celestia together. That was a good day for her. She also looked at a spell book that Celestia gave her for one of her birthdays.mshe read it for a while remmebering how Celestia would teach her all sorts of different spells. She loved it when Celestia taught her stuff. Celestia was a good teacher and Twilight would never forget what Celestia taught her. She also promised herself and Celestia that if she ever had fillies she would teach them about Celestia as Celestia was a really good mentor and personal friend to Twilight. Celestia awas a friend to everypony no matter who they were. Celestia was a nice and kind pony and everypony agreed that she was. After a while she stopped and she went to do some thing else as she knew Celestia was in a good place looking down at her and she knew Celestia would want her to take a break from reminiscing. She went outside to do something productive for the day as she knew that Celestia was watching over her.
