Mojave Wasteland...
A desert region filled with raiders, slavers, an immortal tyrant, corrupt politicians and barbaric legions alike crowded the desert of nuclear fire. The place where the story of it's own legends bred one by one. The battle of Hoover Dam, the legends of the Burned Man. And lastly The Courier himself. He is the only one who caused massive dramatic changes to the Mojave, even moreso than the NCR or the Legion. And that was before his chips got ran out and it was all from the start by the checkered man himself as he stole the package from the Courier and shot him dead in the grave at his hometown of Goodsprings and left him buried there as him and his goons left for The Strip.
Fortunately, The Courier survives. Going on a full recovery. He sets back out into the Wastes, changing the Mojave by himself. One hoof at a time. And he has done it. Right now, he's got nothing to do... nothing to replace of what he has lost who was close to him. All because that
War, war never changes. But a man or a pony can. By walking through the roads alone. The division of choices branched apart, determined the fate of New Vegas by his own choices. His own consequences. His own loss.
"Get a move on you bitches!" a rugged man barked as he threatens the said slaves with a raised detonator in his hand "You'll be off of our hands as soon as we reached the abandoned farmhouse. And consider yourself lucky, because I heard that your buyer is a very tolerable per- QUIET!" he snaps as he backhanded the nearby slave who was whimpering loudly. She then fell down to the ground pressing her hand onto her bruised cheek as she cried while the other slave helps her stand up and move back in line, not without giving the slaver a single glare before joining back with the others.
'Last job for the day before taking a huge hit on jet tonight.' the slaver thought as he chuckles. He flips the cover of the detonator on before holstering it and trailing behind the slaves and make sure not one of them makes a funny business. Unsheathing his machete with a smile on his face as he pulls out a grindstone in his next hand. Sharpening the blade on the way while giving the slaves an unnerving screech which tells them to go faster and they quickly move faster. Only for them to stop as they felt huge voltage of electricity discharging around their necks.
Moving his thumb away from the button as he speaks up "Alright!" he gained the weary attention from the slaves "This is where your buyer will meet us. So, you can sit, rest, eat, drink, or shit or do whatever you want. But," he then makes an "eye on you" gesture to all his captives "if you feel like running!" he raise his detonator in hand and shakes it "I'll blow your fucking brains out. No guarantee." he threaten with a neutral look. He then heard footsteps as he looks at the source behind him and he sees his two "Slaver buddies" heading towards them. He opens his arms with a smile on his face "Ah, Jerry, Tycho. Nice to see you two knuckleheads come here for our grand payday, eh?" he greets his buddies.
The two slavers smiled "Yep." the small, lanky one pipes up as he look at the captives and frowns "Sad day for these beauties to go" he shakes his head, only to pause as he shrugs his shoulders "but, I don't care. We can get more if we got our caps hehehe." he shortly laughs as he bring out a red cylindrical object from his pocket and to his mouth and then he inhales the content. Most likely Brahmin shit in gas form. He puts away the spent Jet onto the ground while he felt like he's in heaven "Oh yeah." Jerry said in a bliss-full state.
The tall, buff slaver. Tycho. Shook his head in disappointment "Oh my god. He's done it again." he muttered in annoyance. He looks at his friend "How long do we have to wait for our contact?" he asked impatiently while he tightly grips his riot shotgun.
The middleman of the group. Omar. Absentmindedly twirls his detonator, stops as he paused "I. Don't know." he honestly replied as he continues on twirling it and sometimes he's also so close to press the button to send the captives on edge as they're eyeing the detonator with frequent chills up their spines.
Tycho frowns "You don't know?" he growled.
Omar raised his left hand at Tycho "Easy there brother. What I don't know means 'I sure am fucking bored of waiting the damn capswalker to greet us' type of don't know." he explained while still playing with the detonator. He head towards the overturned tractor "Better get comfy, Tycho. Because we have a long day ahead waiting for us." he said while lying down on the tractor. Letting his right leg dangling to the side and lazily swinging it back and forth.
Tycho huffs as he grabbed a nearby large tire and drags it near to the sitting captives. He lets it go and sits on it as he blankly stare at the slaves "Better get comfy, girls." he speaks up as he brings out a cloth and cleans his riot shotgun "Because your buyer is coming soon to take you off of our hands." he said softly to them while still cleaning his shotgun, oblivious towards a bright glint coming of at the distance up on the ridge.
"The sooner, the better for you to be safe." he quietly mutters.
*Somewhere at the distance- yesterday- night time*
"I swear, I will tell you everything! Just please. Let me li-" a man got cut off as he got hooked to the left side of his face by an unknown assailant.
Three smaller blue optical lenses glowed brightly "Where are they going exactly?" the figure questioned in robotic monotone as the man slightly struggles within his grip. Only for the figure to headbutt him "Where. Are. They. Now?" he softly asks before his tone rises each word as his right arm raised within striking position while firmly holding the man's neck with his left.
The bloodied man bit his cut lip before blurting out "Horowitz Farmstead! The- they're going to Horowitz Farmstead tomorrow!" he tries to wedge himself free like a weak coward. Unfortunately, that's not the case. The figure gave the man's stomach a classic right hook, knocking the air out of him before throwing him at the corner of the room. Shakily getting up he looks at the armored being with terrified eyes.
The armor his attacker is wearing is unknown to him, and the only thing that he can reference to is that it looks slightly similar to a pre-war samurai armor. The armor itself is mostly black and grey with a hexagonal patterns etched around it, even the under-suit has the same pattern. It has a small backpack with two antennas protruding out of it. And the helmet is what stands out. The helmet lacks any visor like the T-45, the T-51 or the X-0 series. Only three small glowing blue optical lenses in a triangular pattern. It has a small circular dish at the left side and have the same color pattern as the armor. What strikes him odd is that the figure wearing it is smaller than a average human and have a similar body structure as the Brahmin. And that was before the figure puts him into chokehold and threaten him to speak out the location of his business partners of which he did.
Returning back to the wounded man at the corner. The figure stayed at the same spot where he threw the man earlier as he gave his bruised victim a blank, robotic glare.
"Is that it?" the figure asks as the man flinches. He shakily looks at his attacker and nods. The figure subtly shrugs as he turns around "Okay then." he head towards the door. And before his hoof was inches near the doorknob, he paused "Wait a minute." he spoke in a fake realization "I was forgetting something, actually." he grabs the grip of his pistol from the holster and instantly brings it towards his assailant "I forgot to give you a change." he points the barrel at the man and pulls the trigger.
The man's eyes widen as he tries to get up "NO WAI-" his plead was cuts off as a bullet was found embedded right inside his eye as his body stumbles back against the wall with a permanent shock expression etched onto his face as his lifeless body slowly slides down onto the floor with a blood trail accompanying it.
The armored figure looks at the recently cashed out businessman with an emotionless look. Holstering his pistol back into it's place. He exits the now empty room with a goal in his mind. He was busy passing through the bloodied corpses, not paying them any mind. After he exits the building, he brought up his worn pip-boy to his face as he then presses the data button and twisting the knobs towards the location his victim mentioned. Marking a way-point, he then sets off through the moonlit sands of the Mojave towards his intended vantage point.
*A few hours later*
With a campfire built on the ridges of the hill overlooking the North-West of the Mojave. The figure sits down near it. He silently gaze the flame dancing with grace, his body slumped down as he sighs. He brought out his hoof towards his helmet and with an audible hiss, he takes it off. A silver-furred stallion with black and yellow mane and tail was found beneath the helmet. His eyes closed as he steadily breathes in and breathes out. His fur was burned around his face, leaving a noticeable burn marks around his right eye and his neck. With a closer look, two bullet scars at his forehead was noticeable but faded. The stallion then opens his eyes, revealing a glowing and clouded, green eyes and a small green smoke flowing out of the edges of them.
He looks down at the recently burnt out campfire. He brings out his gloved right hoof and pulls out the glove, revealing a slightly charred hoof underneath it. Motioning his right hoof in a circular motion, green ball of smoke was now formed at the base of his hoof and seconds later, it glows brightly. With a satisfied look, he then lean towards it as he hovers his hoof right above the extinguished campfire, slowly moving his hoof downwards the smoke on top of it drops down into the base as the campfire suddenly ignites.
The stallion returns back to where he is as he give a glance at the brightly lit Strip before putting his full attention to it. The Strip shines brightly at the newly reconstructed New Vegas. Freeside lacks any conflict as the cyberdogs from N.W.H are now patrolling the streets, accompanied with The Kings. Freeside was no longer a crime filled place. Without any cases of incidents from Freeside, The Followers of the Apocalypse now can distribute any care to the locals without any stress weighing on their shoulders. With a group of crazy scientists by his side, the stallion can now develop and distribute artificial personnel to New Vegas. And yes, even the robot scorpions by Dr.Mobius. Now the Mojave was now a safer place. 'Was' as the Courier began to prepare of what was coming from The Divide. And he knows that this was no easy feat unlike what he's been through.
With the presence of the robots, the remnants of the Enclave and the Courier himself. The NCR resides within New Vegas by the joint cooperation from the Courier. Will be on their toes to avoid the Courier's wrath as long as they're doing their things and him doing his, they're safe.
The stallion shakes his head as he looks back at the fire as he brings his hoof to one of his pouches and shakily pick something up from the pouch rested at his chest. Bringing it out and to his face, is a cracked spectacle with two key-chains depicting a teddy bear and a T-rex respectively hanging onto the bridge of the specs. He quietly stifles a sob as memories play through his mind as tears formed at his eyes while he shuts them close before making his sobbing audible as he hugs the spectacles closer to his chest.
"I'm sorry." he quietly mutters before repeating again and again before lying down on his bedroll as sleep takes over him. Not without twisting the knob on his pip-boy first as his face morphed into a pained expression by the words from the radio.
"It's a sin to tell a lie."
*The Next day*
Waking up, The Courier packs up his things and have his squirrel stew for breakfast. He then prepares his spot.
Lying down on his stomach at the edge of the ridge, The Courier reached behind him a 20mm rifle resting at his back. Bringing it out he flips down the bi-pod as he then unscrew the barrel of the rifle before replacing it with a longer version of the barrel while also replacing the scope afterwards. Pulling the charging handle and locking it into place, he inserts a five round magazine of subsonic Depleted Uranium Armor Piercing into the rifle. After he inserts the mag into the gun, he then slaps the charging handle into place, chambering a new round. He then brought out the suppressor and twisting it into place at the end of the barrel.
He brought out his helmet as he then wears it on his head, fully covering him as he then re-positioned himself. He flips the scope cover out while he adjusts the stock rested at his shoulders, he then links his helmet with the scope as cross-hairs appeared within his hud.
He then enhance his sights by zooming at the Horowitz Farmstead as he then sees a group of slaves wearing poorly worn fabric on their bodies, only tied by a rope around their waists. Are being herded by a single slaver wearing a slight stripped down combat armor as the shoulder pads are absent. Eyes narrowed, The Courier activates the suit's onboard stealth field as small cameras picturing his surroundings, blending him with the environment as only the distortion took his place. He then now patiently waits for the rest of the slavers and their buyer to appear within his sights before letting the shells fly.
A while later, two more slavers appeared. One of them is small, lanky and is now high while wearing the same combat armor as the first one but have cloth wrapped around his neck. The other slaver is tall and have muscles, he wears a stripped down T-45 armor like the NCR riot troopers but painted in red. By the weapons they are using. The smaller one uses a 12.7mm SMG, the average height slaver have a detonator within his grip and a .44 Magnum at his hip. And the last one uses a riot shotgun while also having a minigun strapped to his back.
Moving his gloved hoof to the side, clicking the safety off while the other firmly grips the fore-grip.
A few minutes later, they're here. A band of Legion slavers appeared behind the rocks. While they're heading towards the trio of slavers. The one at the tractor noticed them as he gets onto his footing while shouting at his companions as the small one who was now out of his jet trance snaps into attention by stumbling back to his feet from lying down on the bedroll. The tall one who was sitting on a large tire, gets back onto his feet with a cleaned riot shotgun in his grip. The Courier unfolds the dish at the side of his helmet by pressing the button at the side of his neck, turning on his microphone.
"Took you guys long enough to show up." the average height slaver said.
The lead legionary doesn't look amused "We apologized for arriving as we have... slight problems on our way. Anyway, where are the slaves?" he asks with profession.
The slaver smiled as he gestured his right arm to the sitting slaves at the barn "They're right there." before the lead legionary pass by the slaver, he stops him while he wags his finger with a smug smirk on his face "Ah, ah, ah. The caps."
The leader's eyes narrowed "Fine then." he looks at his group "Give them what they wanted. And you-" he shoves his finger at the smug slaver's chest "the amount slaves by our requests are in order, correct?" he questioned with narrowed eyes.
The lead slaver still have the same smile as he then shrugs "Sure, sure. They're are what you wanted right?" he dug his hand into one of his pouches at his waist as he brings out a folded paper, he unfolds it before clearing his throat "*Ahem* 5 slavers, all of them have to be female and MUST. BE HEALTHY." he read out loud with a smile "That's what you red armored fellas wanted, right? Oh, and the caps." he brings out his left hand and usher a "Give me" gesture. He then gets a bag full of caps on his palm "Thank you." he then looks at the taller slaver "Give them what they want." he said with a wicked smile and a low tone. The taller one huffs as he enters the barn and seconds later, he emerges with six slavers in tow.
The lead legionnaire looks confused "Who's the sixth?" he asked.
The lead slaver looks at the legionnaire with a frown as he then points the two women clung to each-other tightly "Somehow these two are inseparable. But." he brings out his .44 Magnum and points it at the terrified slave "If you so insistent at requiring only five," he cocks the hammer with a smile "I'll be happy to oblige."
The Courier's eyes narrowed as he adjusts his aim at the target as the trigger on his rifle slightly clicks.
The lead legionnaire brought his hand out "Stop." he ordered.
The lead slaver lets his arm hang limped as he looks at the legionary with a pout "Aw, why not?" he whined. While they're conversing with each-other, a flash can be seen at the ridge for a split second.
The legionnaire pressed his arms against his chest "It seems that more is eno-" he didn't get to finish as his head split open, splattering brain matter across the ground. The slavers, the remaining legionaries and the slaves took cover.
"Aw fuck!" Omar cursed out loud "This doesn't plan well in one of my Paychecks!" he huddled himself as the legionaries started to return fire. Tycho holstered his shotgun as he brought out his minigun.
'One spent, four shots left' The Courier thought before he fired another shell. Ignoring the incoming return fire as the bullets bounce harmlessly around him.
The legionary pops out of cover to aim his weapon at the attacker, only for his chest to burst open as he drops his weapon and clutched his open wound before fall over dead.
'Three' *BANG*
One of them lost his head.
'Two'
The other lost his arm and bled out.
'One' *BANG*
Tycho was breathing rapidly as he grips his minigun tightly. Holding his breath, he emerged from his cover and yells as he starts firing hail of 5mm at The Courier. Only to flinch as he stumbles back clutching his left arm as the shell grazed him. Checking his shoulder for any damages he found nothing except his chipped paint job, looking back at his attacker with a scowl, he return firing his minigun again.
The Courier grunt in disapproval at his shot. Ejecting the mag he slides back his charging handle and lock it into place as he calmly grabbing another mag as multiple lead whizzed by him. Inserting a fresh one and slaps his handle back into place. He re-aims at the target and fires.
Tycho was pissed. No one should've scratch his paint, no one. Firing round after round in a milisecond from the minigun of a pissed off man, he have a bad day. As his minigun suddenly broke apart. Stunned by whats happening, he get his shock out of his system as he dives back into cover.
"Son of a bitch!" he cursed out loud while he grabbed his shotgun from his back. He looks at Jerry who was hiding behind the tractor with his hands pressed onto his head as he rocks back and forth with a panicked expression. Then he looks at Omar, who decides to run back into the barn and closed the door. Leaving him, Jerry and the slaves out in the open from the sniper fire. "Fucking coward!" he grabbed a nearby rock and threw it at the barn before retreating back into cover as the shell hits the ground near him.
Jerry, was fucking terrified. He thought this was easy transactions so he joined with his partner Omar and Tycho for a simple slave trade. Only for the trade to fucking fall downhill because they got someone aiming at their heads. Trying to stop his offender, he shakily grabs his SMG and make a run for it. Emerging out of the tractor like a speeding gecko. He makes a run at the sniper's position and thanks to his small stature most of the shots missed him.
The Courier frowns at this predicament. The slaver was foolish enough to rush towards his position. Flicking the safety of his sniper rifle on, he heft it up and folds up the bi-pod and slings it onto his back. He pulls out his modified .223 pistol out of it's holster as he still have his cloak kicking. He then placed a gift for the slaver as he rushes towards the farmstead.
Reaching towards the sniper's position, a small hand shakily grabs the edge of the ridge as the small slaver slowly emerge. Scanning the spot, he found nothing. Sneakily heft himself up, he grabs his SMG by the sling as he crouches down and tiptoed around the spot. He then heard a loud bang as he is now close. Slightly smiling nervously, he creeps towards the source of the sound and after a little shift of his gun and a massive balls. He jumped the sniper only to see a holodisk. Confused, he cautiously grab the holodisk and click the play button.
"Caught you with your pants down." a robotic monotone was heard and Jerry's eyes widen and before he reacts, a bright flash then engulfed him.
Tycho's eyes widened in surprise as an explosion happened at the The Courier's position and he knows that Jerry was gone. Steeling himself as he readied his shotgun. And before he even peeks out, a cold metal was now pressed against his head.
"Don't make a sudden move." his captor speaks in a low tone as he slowly raise his arms up. And he then kicks the captor by the legs. Causing him to lose his balance and fall down as he grunts. Having a window of opportunity, Tycho turns around to face his attacker and began grabbing his gun.
It's now a struggle for the gun as Tycho tries to grab The Courier's gun while the latter tries to aim it at Tycho. Tycho knows what he's doing as he tries to aim the pistol underneath the stallion's chin while The Courier tries to aim it at something else. The two beings grunt as they fight each-other of who managed to point the gun first. And the Courier has the advantage and unlike Tycho who have strength, the Courier managed to outwit him. By using Tycho's strength to make the pistol spin and points it towards his groin. And he then pulls the trigger.
Tycho's face instantly morphed into shock and surprise as he cannot feel his crotch anymore. Slowly looking down, he was met with a bloodied crotch plate with a hole on it and also blood came out of it. He slowly looks at his attacker who was looking at him with emotionless three blue optics. His eyes then rolled back into his skull as he falls onto his back. Dead without a dick. A worst way to go for a man.
Looking at Tycho's corpse for a moment, The Courier heard a sniffle. He looks at the source and saw six women looking at him with wide eyes. Looking back at the dead dick-less slaver and back to the slaves, he holstered his pistol and marches towards the slaves as they're started to huddle each-other in fear. The Courier crouches down to their eye level and tries to not look anymore menacing "Don't worry." he assures them in a calm voice "I'm here to set you free. Can you please stay calm? Can you do that for me?" he asks.
The captives look at each-other before looking back at their savior. And they hesitantly nod their heads. The stallion then get's closer as he reaches out towards one of the slaves by the collar. The slave he reaches out to closed her eyes in fear while the others look at them wide eyed with the same expression as her. She then felt a weight by her neck felt loose as she cracks one eye and opens the other as she looks at him in disbelief.
Their savior have a collar on his grip, and it was hers.
The others looked at the collar with the same expression as her. And they looked at him expectantly.
The Courier looks at them with a calming smile behind the mask as he drops the collar onto the ground like trash as he then continues his process with the others. With all the six slaves freed, they gave him grateful smiles. The Courier then fiddles with his pip-boy for a second before staring at the Strip. The former captives looked confused about what he was doing before following to where he was looking at and saw multiple figures coming to them. As the figures get closer, it's a group of cyberdogs accompanied with two securitrons.
The former slaves looked at him as he looked back at them "Follow them." he speaks up gaining their attention "They'll guide you to safety." he looks at the barn and brought out his .223 "because I got one more person to deal with." he then stop as he felt a pair of arms wrapped around his neck.
"Thank you." a girl whispered behind him before she lets go and follow the robots back to The Strip.
He looks back at the group with a sad smile on his face "No problem." he whispered back before he narrowed his eyes at the barn. Firmly gripping his pistol, he then heard it click. Nodding to himself, he heads towards the barn. Checking how loose the doors are, he slowly and cautiously pushed them.
And they won't budge, frowning, The Courier braced himself near the door and count to three. He then charged right through the door and it suddenly bursts into splinters from long time decay. Stumbling himself to stop, he quickly scans the barn and found nothing. Until a shot whizzed by him by a millimeter from his head as it lands itself into the soil. He looks up and saw Omar quickly tries to un-jam his cylinder, the slaver paused as he saw the Courier looked at him bemusedly as he then escapes the barn through the open window behind him.
The Courier follows suit as he quickly climbs up the stairs and reach towards the window frame and saw Omar hobbles away from him. Jumping through the window, The Courier quickly braced himself from impact by rolling on the ground, softening his landing. He then quickly give chase to Omar.
Clutching his sprained hip, losing his customers, slaves and his buddies. Omar was having a bad day. Having a pissed off Stallion outrunning him, he was pretty fucking terrified right now. Then suddenly fate smiled upon him as a weird portal suddenly appears out of nowhere ahead of him. Not having time to think with the Courier almost close to him, he leaps into it.
The Courier abruptly stops as he saw the slaver jumps into one of the portal. He quickly thinks right now until he saw that the portal starts to close. Sighing to himself. He charges right into the portal full speed and manages to go through it just in time as the portal closed shut. Resigning his fate to another world.
*Mirror Room- Crystal Empire*
"Surprise!" a chorus of voices shouted as her eyes was blinded by the sudden brightness. Blinking rapidly, her cyan eyes are now focused at what's in front of her and she then smiled broadly. Her purple alicorn friend and also her former mentor smiled at her while the pony version of her friends also have the same expression.
Suddenly her vision was now filled with pink fur, baby blue eyes and a white toothy smile.
"Are you surprised, are you surprised, are you surprised" the pink pony then pressed her face against the golden unicorn's as she continues rambling "Tell me, tell me, tell me!"
Chuckling, the unicorn levitates the pink pony away "Yes Pinkie, I am surprised." she replied as she look at her former mentor and her smile falters as she trot towards her. Due to the size differences between the two, she have to look up "Princess Celestia." she greets neutrally.
Celestia looks down at her "Sunset Shimmer." she greets with the same tone as they're staring off to eachother.
After a few seconds, Sunset lunged towards Celestia as she bawl her eyes into Celestia's coat "I'm sorry!" she apologises again and again as Celestia placed her foreleg around Sunset as she soothes her.
"Shh, shh, shh. It's okay Sunset, I forgive you." she said while stroking the distressed unicorn's back.
While the two are having their moments, everypony looked at them with a smile, well except a certain rainbow pegasus who tries to toughen up and not going to be a softie.
Sunset then broke the hug with a slight bloodshot eyes "I missed you, mom." she said with a sad smile.
Celestia returns the smile "I missed you too, Sunset." she replied as they hugged again.
*THUD* "Ah, shit!" a gruff voice caused the party to stop as they look at the newcomer. A dark red stallion was lying on the ground, clutching his left hind leg. He's wearing armor for some reason. And what surprises them, is that he came from the portal. The stallion cracked open his eye and he snaps both of them open in surprise "What the fu- who are you!?" he yelled while pointing at them. He then see drastic changes to his body "Who the fuck am I!?" he looks at himself in shock.
The others gasp at his cussing. The white unicorn felt disgusted by his mannerisms "My word, will you please don't use that, disgusting word you ruffian!?" she yelled at him in posh accent.
The stallion scowled at her "Fuck you, bitch!" he grab hold of something at his hip and pointed it at her. That's when Sunset realizes what he's bringing out. A gun.
Using her magic, her cyan aura appeared at the stallion's gun "What the fuck!? Let go!" he struggles as he tries to not let go of his revolver while Sunset's expression strained as she tries to pull it out off of his grip. The gun unfortunately points right at her and the stallion accidentally pulls the trigger.
*BANG*
*Multiple gasps*
Time slows down as Sunset's eyes widen in shock as she felt pain at one spot of her body. Slowly looking down, she saw that her chest was hit as small puddle of blood trickles out of the wound. Looking at her friends and mother and all of them have horrified faces, Celestia mostly. As she felt light headed. Losing her balance, she then fell to her side. Darkness coming at the edge of her vision as Celestia galloped towards her as she screamed and Sunset cannot hear anything. She then slowly looks at her killer for the last time before she lost consciousness as she saw a black and grey blur crashes right towards the surprised stallion. And she then slowly closed her eyes.
"SUNSET!" was the last thing she heard before she fell unconscious.
