3. Ruling

Celestia (Raiser of the Sun) have ruled alone sense 1 AC (Anno Celestial) and have done so for a millennium. And before that she with her little sister had both ruled for about 500 years after taking over the rule from the mad Discord and put a end to his reign (see the Chaos Era, CHE dating for further info)

As of a resent event her sister Princess Luna (Raiser of the Moon) have been reinstated and have started again with taking the Night courts and also watching over ponies’ dreams.

Celestia is very happy to have her little sister back and have publicly shown that with nuzzlings, kissing and hugging. (also a secret photo taken from a news reporter is showing Celestia giving Luna a rather heated tongue filled kiss at some point in a dark corner in the castle. Luna didn’t seem to mind; she was happily returning it.)

Princess Cadance is the ruler of the Crystal Empire to the north of Equestria. Her husband prince Shining Armour ruling by her side. They are a newlywed couple
