It was already well past midnight on a cool Thursday night. Twilight had the window cracked for some fresh air as she sat at her reading desk, reading what seemed like the hundredth book that day. A large stack of books that she had read lay to her right, and to her left lay a stack of books of around the same height that she still had to get through before next weekend. She felt exasperated at the task that lay before her, for she doubted that she would be unable to tackle such a monumental task in her current state.
Twilight had locked herself in the library since early Monday morning in an effort to get through the massive amount of books Celestia had wanted her to read so that they could perform some advanced scientific experiment. Though she was thrilled at the chance to work alongside her mentor again, she had visibly paled when she saw the sheer amount of books she had to get through. There was no way in hell that she would ever think of considering the possibility of letting Princess Celestia down, so she had done everything necessary to get through the list of books.
Even now, she felt like there was no way she’d be able to read every single book cover to cover, at least, without going mentally insane. What if you take a break? a tiny voice in the back of her mind spoke, making her look up from the book. “What if I took a break?” she softly whispered to herself. “I still have more than a week to get through my assignment, so… why not? I know if I keeping doing this to myself I’m just gonna go nuts!”
With a smile, she pushed her book away from her. She’d just started it about ten minutes ago, so she hadn’t made much progress. “I know that if I can relax, just for this weekend, then I’m gonna be more than ready to tackle the rest of these books!” Without a moment’s hesitation, she grabbed a piece of parchment and dipped a fresh quill in her open ink pot, then wrote:
Dearest Mother,
I must admit that I’ve had a bit of a rough week. I’ve been doing nothing but reading books all day for the last four days now, and I’ve decided that it’s time to take a break. I apologize for the lateness of me sending this letter, but I wish to know if it’s alright if I come home for the weekend and destress. I know that if I don’t, I might go batshit crazy!
Sorry about that; I just had to get it out of my system. Surely you have something to help me take my mind off of everything?

Twilight used her magic to roll the scroll up, tie a piece of string around the center of it, then she sent it away to her old house, hoping that she’d get a prompt response by morning. She pushed herself back and stood up, stretching out her stiff back and wings. Upon hearing a couple joints pop, she let out a content groan and decided it was time for her to get some shut-eye. After blowing out the candles, she trotted upstairs, crawled under the covers, then promptly fell asleep, excited at the possibility of being able to go home and relax with her mother.
She had waited for most of the day, praying that her mother would say yes. Twilight had kept herself busy by doing little chores around the library until she heard the familiar sound of a letter popping into reality behind her. Her eyes widening in hopeful excitement, she picked up the letter and ripped it open.
Twilight,
Of course you can come home! What sort of mother would I be if I told you no? Trust me, I’ve already planned out a bunch of things for us to do! Your father is out in the Crystal Empire visiting your brother and his lovely wife, so it’ll just be the two of us.

“Yay!” Twilight said, jumping up and down all over her room, her mother’s letter levitating beside her all the while. Not wanting to waste any more time, Twilight tossed the letter on the bed then packed a small bag full of supplies she thought she might need for the weekend. She wrote a small letter and left it in front of Spike’s bedroom door, saying that she was leaving for the weekend and wouldn’t be back until Sunday evening. After making herself a nicely-sized cup of coffee, she trotted outside, charged up her horn, then teleported away.
She reappeared a moment later less than a block from her house. The sun was already setting and a cool breeze ran down the road, sending a small shiver down her spine. Shaking it off, she quickly made her way to her house and walked inside. “Hey Mom, I’m home!” she called out. Twilight heard her mother’s hoofsteps come from upstairs, making her look upwards.
“Twilight! Oh, it’s so nice to see you!” Twilight Velvet said as she made her way down the stairs. She embraced her daughter and sat back with a gentle, loving smile. “So listen, before you say anything, I want you to know that I'm going to take complete care of you for the entire weekend, okay? You’re here to relax, and in order for that to happen, I must insist that you do not use any magic whatsoever this weekend,” Twilight Velvet said. “So anyways, let me show you to your new bedroom!” At that, she turned tail and trotted back upstairs, leaving her bewildered daughter in the foyer.
I’m not allowed to use magic here? What am I, a foal? And what’d she do to my bedroom? Twilight thought with a small smile. Wondering what her mother had done to her room, she followed her upstairs and traced the familiar path that she’d walked upon oh so many times in her youth.
Turning the corner, Twilight walked into her old bedroom and gasped, her eyes going wide. What had been a sparsely-decorated room was now a full-blown nursery, something that she’d never thought would happen. “Um… mother? Are you trying to tell me that you’re having another foal?”
“What? Oh, no no no, Twilight! This is for you!” Twilight Velvet cheerily said, cocking her head to the side.
Whaaaaaaaaaaa… Twilight looked around her room as her mind went blank. All of her old books had been replaced with a lot of foalish things. Stuffed animals lined the bottom of the walls, her bedsheets had been replaced with pink and fluffy sheets, and to top it all off, the scent of foal powder lay heavily in the air. Looking to the right, she saw the top of her dresser had stacks of thick white diapers, diapers that looked like they would easily be able to fit on her. A diaper changing pad lay on top of the bed, complete with an open and freshly-powdered diaper.
“Wha… Mo–mother, I–” Twilight haltingly said, unable to process what she was seeing. She was about to ask what all of this was about when her mother cut her off.
“I can see you’re surprised, and rightly so. Now before you get defensive, please hear me out.” She waited until her daughter closed her open mouth, and as her ears flicked back in submission, she gave a gentle smile as she said, “I read somewhere that acting like a foal can be very relaxing. Just think how nice it would be if I was here to take care of you all day… Feeding you, bathing you, cuddling and snuggling, playing together, drawing, changing your diapers… stuff like that. When you wrote and asked to come home to relax, I figured I could try this on you in the hopes of helping you get what you want.”
“But– but I–”
“No buts, you silly filly!” Twilight Velvet said playfully, but in a stern voice. “Now get your butt up on that bed or you’re gonna get a spanking!”
“Mom, I don’t think that would be–”
“Oooooooooone~” Twilight Velvet said, lowering her voice.
Twilight recognized that voice instantly. Back in her foalhood, it had been her mother’s way of making her obey her for fear of being punished. She hoped that since she was older she wouldn’t have to worry about being punished anymore, but a small part of her mind was yelling at her to give in so that she wouldn’t have to get punished for not listening. “Mom, I came home to just relax and spend time with you,” she said, sounding slightly exasperated. “Can we stop messing around?”
“Twoooooooooo~” Twilight Velvet replied, a loving smile on her face.
Twilight stared into her mother’s eyes, hoping that she would say that she was just messing around with her. Alas, that was not the case. “Reaaaaaally?” she whined, sticking out her lower lip as she pouted.
“Jeez, your brother didn’t put up this much of a fight,” Twilight Velvet said nonchalantly.
“Wait, Shining did this with– hey!” Twilight yelped in surprise as she suddenly found herself floating in the air, held in her mother’s grasp. She twisted around in midair, then gave up. Floating in the air, her mother gently laid her upon the bed on her side, right next to the open and waiting diaper.
“Listen Twilight, Shining loved this, and I’m sure you will too. Will you pretty please with a cherry on top just try it for tonight? For me? I promise if you don’t like it when you wake up tomorrow morning, we won’t have to do it anymore, okay?” Twilight Velvet asked, her voice sounding hopeful.
“…I… I guess,” Twilight said nervously. “We’re the only ones here, right?”
“We sure are, little one…” Twilight Velvet cooed. “Are you ready to be diapered like a cute little foal?”
Twilight blushed as she eyed the thick diaper laying next to her, wondering exactly how it would feel wrapped around her butt. Her wings bristling in nervous excitement, she wordlessly nodded.
“Alright then, here we go,” Twilight Velvet softly said, using her magic to once more pick up her daughter. She rolled her over so that her belly was facing the ceiling, and then laid her down upon the open diaper. Using her magic, she grabbed the petroleum jelly jar and applied a liberal layer of it all over her daughter’s privates, just to ensure that she wouldn’t get a diaper rash.
“It’s so cold,” Twilight whispered, curling her forelegs up as she let her mother prepare her.
“I know, silly; I’ll be done quick.” Grabbing a bottle of foal powder, Twilight Velvet poured a small layer over her daughter’s flanks and privates and rubbed it in with her magic. Once she was sure that everything was as good as it could get, she stuffed a booster pad inside the diaper then pulled Twilight’s tail through the small hole in the diaper. Before she taped it up, she tied a pretty, light-blue bow to the end of her tail.
Happy that her daughter had decided to give this a shot, Twilight Velvet said, “Almost done, my little lovely foal…” She pulled up the front of the diaper, tugged it a couple times to make sure that it was tight against her, pulled the wings together, then finally taped it up. “There! All done!” she said merrily. “Why don’t you go look at yourself in the mirror?”
“Al–alright then…” Twilight said as she slid out of bed. Landing on her hooves, she quickly took note that the diaper pushed her legs out a bit, making it so that she couldn’t shut her legs if she had wanted to. The diaper crinkled with every step she took, and the scents wafting from it brought back fond memories of her foalhood.
Now standing in front of the mirror, she twisted to the side and saw how it hugged her flank. She sat down, and as her butt hit the floor, a small puff of baby powder escaped from the top of her diaper, making her giggle.
“Aww… who’s my cute widdle fiwwy?” Twilight Velvet cooed, kissing her daughter on the cheek.
“I… I am…” Twilight said slowly, letting a little smile slip on her face.
“That’s right!” Twilight Velvet said with another kiss. As her daughter looked at herself in the mirror, she took the opportunity to affix a matching bow to the back of her head. “There we go!” she said happily. “How do you like it?”
“I look, well… foalish, mother,” Twilight said with a little giggle. Her cheeks tinted red, she laid her head under her mother’s and nuzzled her. An errant draft of cold air came out of nowhere, making her shiver just a little bit.
“Oh dear, are you cold?” Twilight Velvet asked. “Here, I have just the thing!” She trotted over to the closet, grabbed a white onesie with snaps at the bottom with her magic, then presented it to her daughter. “A onesie! Here, let me help you get it on!” She pulled the hanger from it then had Twilight step through the leg holes, pulled it up her body, then fastened it so that it hugged her body like a snug blanket.
“Thanks Mom,” Twilight said, wondering how something could be so soft. In addition to the cushiony goodness that surrounded her flank, the onesie pulled the diaper just a bit tighter to her. Now, she didn’t mind that one bit. In fact, she rather enjoyed the warmth and sense of secureness that she was feeling.
“Oh, it’s no problem, sweetie! You feel like getting some hot cocoa? I’ve got some already made downstairs!”
“Sure!” Twilight said. As her mother left her bedroom, Twilight looked over her shoulder as she followed her, wondering exactly what she had gotten herself into. They walked down the stairs and into the kitchen, where Twilight saw two large mugs of hot cocoa steaming on the table. She sat down on the cushion next to her mother and was surprised when she wrapped a leg around her back, holding her close. Twilight looked up at her and smiled, knowing that her mother was just happy that she was home. As she went to grab for one of the mugs, her mother gently slapped her, making her stop.
“Ah ah ah!” Twilight Velvet said in a sing-song voice. “Remember how I said that I’d be taking care of you the entire weekend?” Twilight nodded silently. “Well, this is part of that. I’ll be feeding you all of your food this weekend, dear, and the hot cocoa is included in that.” Without waiting for a response, Twilight Velvet lit her horn and grabbed Twilight’s mug. She brought it up to her daughter’s lips then tipped it back, letting her get a few good mouthfuls of it. When she leveled it out so that Twilight could breathe a bit, she shook her head and mumbled something incoherently. Mentally shrugging, she let Twilight drink from the mug until there was nothing left.
“My my, somepony is a widdle firsty filly!” she said, setting the empty mug on the table. “Come, let’s play some games!” Lighting her horn, she picked Twilight up with her magic like it was nothing.
Twilight would have protested, saying that she could walk on her own, but it felt nice to be held by her mother’s magic again. She let herself go limp as she enjoyed floating beside her mother, and moments later, she was set down next to a pile of building blocks.
“Mother, am I supposed to–”
“Twily, cute wittle fillies like yourself don’t call their mommies ‘mother’. From now on, you’re to either call me Momma or Mama, alright sweetie?” Twilight Velvet said, looking down at her daughter with a playful, yet stern, expression.
Twilight wilted under her mother’s gaze, her ears flicking back. She didn’t know why she did that, but it felt good to give in, to let someone else take charge for once even if it was for something as little as calling her mother something different. Looking at the blocks beside her, she rolled over onto her stomach and wondered what her mother expected her to do with them.
“Why don’t you build a house, Twilight?” Twilight Velvet asked gently. “Also, I’ll be right back; I need to get your bottle!”
Twilight nodded silently, barely listening to her mother’s words. She spent the few minutes her mother was gone to use up all of the blocks, stacking them as neatly as she could. When her mother came back, Twilight looked back at her and said, “Um… done?”
“Not quite, silly filly! You need to drink from your bottle, and then it’s nappy nappy time!” Twilight Velvet said as she once more picked up Twilight. She sat down and lay on her side, then laid Twilight down on her back with her head resting on her side. “Comfy, wittle one?” Twilight nodded back as she instinctually snuggled up against her mom’s warm side.
It felt good to be back there, as it had been quite a while since she had been able to find the warmth and a sense of safety from her mother. Twilight closed her eyes and sighed, relaxing as she snuggled just a bit closer to her mom. A moment later, she felt something poke at her lips, making her open her eyes. A ridiculously-sized baby bottle complete with a nipple sat in front of her, hovering in her mom’s magical grasp. It poked her lips a couple more times, prompting her to open her mouth and let the nipple in. Giving in, Twilight opened her mouth, wrapped her lips around it, and began sucking, just like a good little foal would.
Twilight closed her eyes and laid her head against her mother’s strong neck as she suckled from the bottle. Everything felt just right; as it should be. She was back home all snuggled up with her mom, and while the diaper and onesie was a bit out there, it gave her comforts she thought did not exist. Twilight felt her bladder twinge ever so slightly, but she paid it no mind, knowing that her mom would probably let her up to go use the bathroom. Cracking an eye open, she saw that she still had over half of the bottle to go.
It took her several minutes to empty the bottle. “Mama, I, er… I need to go use the bathroom,” Twilight said, a small blush tinting her cheeks red.
“If you need to go, then just go,” Twilight Velvet said, helping her daughter sit up straight. “The bathroom is off-limits for little fillies like yourself, and besides, you’re already wearing a diaper! Why not use it what it’s made for?”
“But–”
“No buts, you silly filly!” Twilight Velvet playfully scolded. “I know it’s been a while since you used a diaper, so all you have to do is relax and trust that the diaper will keep you safe.”
“O– okay, I guess…” Twilight said. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, then let it out slowly as she relaxed. Feeling a bit of resistance, Twilight pushed a bit and took in a quick, excited breath as she felt the flow start. It felt so strange to her, peeing in a diaper. She felt a wondrous warmth spread althroughout it as it quickly soaked up all she had to offer, and a few moments later, her bladder was empty.
Wow, this feels pretty good… Twilight thought, letting off a soft yawn. She pushed the front of her warm diaper, admiring the fact that while she had just wet herself, the padding she sat on still felt dry.
“Aww, does my cute wittle filly need a diapie change?” Twilight Velvet asked, picking her daughter up with her magic once more. “Let’s go get you changed, and then we can put you to bed, okay? Little fillies like yourself have to go to bed early!”
“Okay,” Twilight whispered back. By now, she was content to be held by her mother in such an intimate and loving way. She trusted her mama more than anypony else in the whole wide world, and she knew without a doubt that she only had her best interests at heart.
“Hey there, little one,” Twilight heard her mother whisper, waking her up from her slumber. She felt her mother’s lips press upon her cheek, leaving a teensy little smooch upon her. Twilight had slept throughout the entire night without waking up once, a rarity that she had been unable to enjoy for the past several months. As she wondered if wearing a diaper was the cause of her uninterrupted sleep, she felt her mama check her diaper.
“Hm… I see that you didn’t wet yourself last night,” Twilight Velvet murmured as she pulled Twilight’s adult-sized pacifier from her mouth.
“Well, I didn’t change into some foal overnight, now did I?” Twilight replied with a giggle.
“No, that you did not, little one,” Twilight Velvet said. “Now come; let us get all cleaned up for the day!” At that, she lit her horn and lifted her daughter up on top of the changing table. She undid the snaps on the bottom of her onesie and pulled the dry diaper from her, taking care to be as gentle as possible. Once it was disposed of, Twilight Velvet pulled the onesie off of her daughter, undid the bow in her mane, and helped her off of the changing table.
“So… what did you think, Twilight?” Twilight Velvet asked, running a small brush through her daughter’s hair. “Would you like to keep acting like a foal and letting me take care of you, or… would you like to, um…”
“Go back to normal?” Twilight finished her mother’s sentence for her, silently enjoying each stroke from the brush.
“Yes… that.”
Twilight plainly heard her mother’s disappointment. She had had a fairly fun experience, and as she sat on the cold, hard wooden floors, Twilight suddenly found herself wishing that she was wearing a diaper again just so that her butt wouldn’t be so cold. I did have some fun with all the playing last night, and I am pretty relaxed… she realized. “I, er… I wouldn’t mind it if we kept going, mama,” she said, looking up at her mother.
“Really? Oh, that makes me so happy!” Twilight Velvet said merrily, trotting in place for a couple seconds. “Come, let’s get you bathed, and then we can get some breakfast!” Like before, she lit her horn, picked Twilight up, and walked the two of them to the bathroom.
They spent a good fifteen minutes getting her all cleaned up in the bathtub, then after drying her off, Twilight Velvet carried Twilight back to her bedroom to get dressed for the day. She laid her back on the changing table and pulled out a much thicker diaper than the one she had worn the previous day.
Lifting up Twilight’s flank, Twilight Velvet unfolded the diaper and slid the back end under her daughter’s raised butt, then threaded her tail through the hole. Next, she reached for some diaper rash cream and spread it all over Twilight’s privates and butt, covering her entire diaper area in the white goopy cream.
Setting that aside, she reached for the foal powder and covered Twilight’s lower region with it, then sprinkled some more inside the diaper just in case. She gently lowered Twilight onto the diaper, then sprinkled some of the foal powder on her cute little tummy. When Twilight cocked her head to the side, Twilight Velvet said, “This is to help you remember that you’re my cute little foal, Twilight.” As she sprinkled more of the powder near her neck, she rubbed it all into her coat then set the bottle down. She grabbed a thick booster, cut slits in the back of it, then placed it inside the diaper.
The foalish smell of the powder reminded Twilight of her early foalhood, of a time where she had nothing to worry about. Everything had been perfect back then; no stress, no papers to write, and definitely no responsibility. She closed her eyes and relaxed as she felt her mama pull the diaper up against her front, and as she felt it get taped up, she felt her bladder twinge ever so slightly, reminding her that she hadn’t used the bathroom yet that morning.
“There we go!” Twilight Velvet exclaimed. She helped her daughter off of the changing table. “Wait right here; Mama’s gonna go grab some plastic panties for you!”
“‘Kay!” Twilight said, letting a smile slip onto her face as she watched her mother dart away down the hall. Another twinge from her bladder reminded her that she needed to pee, so without a second thought, she just let go and wet herself. She heard a steady hiss coming from her diaper, and the more she peed, the warmer the diaper got, making it easier and easier for her to keep going.
Her mother came back as soon as she finished peeing herself. Twilight checked the front of her diaper and saw that the wetness indicators showed that she was completely dry. But I peed a ton! Twilight thought to herself, admiring the fact that the diaper she was wearing was so absorbent. Feeling a tap on her padded butt, she looked up and saw her mother was levitating a pair of plastic panties in the air. With a silent nod, she stood up and let her mother thread her legs through the leg holes. Twilight felt a small shiver of excitement run down her spine as she felt the plastic panties wrap around the diaper, pulling the warmth tighter against her.
“Now you won’t have to worry about leaks!” Twilight Velvet said. “Now come on, let’s get some foodsies in you, diaper butt!”
They ate a small breakfast full of biscuits, cereal, and of course, a couple jars of apple-flavored foal food followed by two big bottles of warm milk. Her tummy full, Twilight busied herself with some stuffed animals while her mother did some chores around the house for a bit. When the sun was at its highest point in the sky, Twilight heard her mother walk up behind her.
“Hey little one, want to go get some ice cream?” Twilight heard her mama ask. “Remember that little ice cream place we always used to go to?”
“Ye Olde Fashioned?” Twilight’s head whipped around, her eyes wide in excitement. “Of course I remember it!”
“So is that a yes?”
“Yeah!” Twilight stood up to bolt out the front door, but she quickly remembered the thick padding on her butt. “Give me a minute to get out of this diaper first…” She made to slide the diaper off of her but felt a hoof on her leg, stopping her.
“Ah ah ah,” Twilight Velvet said in a sing-song voice. “Foals can’t go out unprotected now, hm?”
“But I’m–”
“A foal. You are a foal, and if you want ice cream you’re gonna have to keep wearing that diaper.”
“But everypony’s gonna see it! They can’t see one of the bearers of the Elements of Harmony wearing the thickest diaper known to ponykind!” Twilight said, her tone holding a bit of fear.
“Not if you’re wearing a cute little dress!” Twilight Velvet said, lighting her horn. She pulled out a soft pink dress that went well with the accent in her mane. It was fairly simple and had a bit of lace around the neckline.
It doesn’t look that bad… And so long as nopony sees the diaper I think it’ll be alright… “Okay, let’s try it on!” Twilight said, raising her forelegs to let her mother pull the dress over her.
Twilight sat down with her mother in one of the corners of the shop, smiling to herself as she felt the soaked and warm diaper comfort her. Unbeknownst to her mother, she had wet herself twice as they walked the mile or so to the shop. Her diaper was starting to swell up to the point of being noticeable, and Twilight was starting to regret using it so much. There’s nothing much I can do about that now… Well, I could just stop using it. I’m sure I’d be able to hold it until we get back home…
“How’s your ice cream, little one?” Twilight Velvet asked as the two of them started eating.
“It’s as good as I remember it!” Twilight said, smiling as she shifted about, enjoying the warmth from the diaper. She took a sip from her vanilla milkshake then a large spoonful from her cup of chocolate ice cream smothered in chocolate chips. It had always been a secret tradition between her and her mom to always get two things of ice cream when they went out on girl days.
They ate their ice cream in silence until each bowl and cup was scraped clean. Leaving the store behind them, Twilight thought that they were going to go back home, but her mother started walking in the other direction, straight into the market.
“Mom!” Twilight called out as she trotted towards her mom, following her into the thick crowd. It took her several seconds to catch up to her, and she could have sworn she felt the wind pick up the end of her dress, trying to expose her dirty little secret to the whole wide world. Her head darted around, searching for any strange looks, but she thankfully found none.
“What are we doing?” Twilight asked nervously, her head always on a swivel.
“Oh, I think it’d be nice if we walked around for a bit, you know?” Twilight Velvet replied nonchalantly.
“But I, um…” Twilight trailed off nervously, her voice no louder than a whisper.
“You what, dear? I’m afraid you’re going to have to speak up.”
Twilight stepped closer to her mama until her muzzle was a few inches away from her ear. “I think I might need a diaper change!” she whispered. “My diaper’s so thick that I can’t walk without waddling like a foal and I think it won’t take anymore!”
“Oh, don’t be silly! I put a booster in there, so you shouldn’t have to worry about leaking, unless…” She smirked. “Has my wittle filly been wetting herself?” Twilight nodded, blushing furiously. “How many times?” she asked in a fake stern tone.
“About six or seven times, maybe… maybe more,” Twilight mumbled, feeling just how full her bladder was. “And I have to go number two as well!”
“Oh, I guess we could go home and get you changed,” Twilight Velvet said, nudging Twilight back in the direction of their home. She’s never going to make it… she thought with a sly grin. Not with the route we’re gonna take! “And don’t forget to walk, okay? You might leak if you run, and we wouldn’t want that!”
“Okay okay, let’s just get going already,” Twilight said urgently. “I don’t want ponies to hear me pooping myself in the middle of the market!” Her stomach twinged and she heard a particularly loud gurgle.
As they walked, Twilight Velvet guided them along a more scenic route, one that was a bit longer than the direct way home by an extra mile. She watched her daughter squirm and fidget as she walked, and she just had to make her have an accident. After all, that’s what little fillies do! She guided them into the Canterlot Gardens and walked them towards the river that ended in a massive waterfall.
“So Twilight, how’d you like all of the rain? I heard that Ponyville’s been getting torrents of it lately!” Twilight Velvet said, her eyes widening when she heard Twilight groan. “Oh, hey, the waterfall is nearby! You wanna go see it?”
Water… waterfall… torrents of water, wet, warm water… Twilight couldn’t help herself anymore, the thoughts and the sounds of rushing water was too much to bear. Thankful that nopony was around them, Twilight let go and relaxed, flooding her diaper. She bent down and pushed, forcing it out as fast as she could.
She felt a small pain in her stomach for just a brief moment, then before she knew what was happening, she felt the back of her diaper expand as she relieved herself. There was little she could do now except wait until she was empty.
Once Twilight was done, Twilight Velvet had silently led the two of them back home, and after getting her daughter all cleaned up and in a fresh diaper, she put a footed sleeper on Twilight, brought her into the living room, and lit a warm fire. After she had laid Twilight against her side, she had used her magic to find a book for the both of them to read.
They spent the next couple of hours simply enjoying the presence of the other, the warmth from the fire keeping Twilight all nice and toasty. She was wearing the same type of diaper from earlier that day, and the footed sleeper was keeping her little hoovsies all nice and warm.
Twilight wasn’t sure, but she may have drifted off once or twice, laying her head against her mother’s neck. The sun had gone down about an hour ago, and she couldn’t keep from yawning over and over again.
“Alright, little one,” Twilight Velvet said softly, closing her book. “I think it’s time for you to go to bed.”
“Aww… can I read just one more chapter?” Twilight asked, unknowingly sticking her lower lip out.
“Hm… how about I read it out loud for you?” Twilight Velvet asked, pulling the book from Twilight’s tired hooves.
“Okay!” Twilight said. She made to stand up, but quickly found herself floating in the air. Twilight closed her eyes and smiled as she relaxed, letting her mama bring them upstairs to her bedroom. As soon as they reached the top of the stairs, Twilight felt a little bit of pee trickle into her diaper. Years of potty training told her to stop it and clench down, but a small voice in the back of her head told her to simply let it happen. She was wearing a diaper after all, and that’s what diapers were supposed to be used for.
Twilight kept her eyes closed as she felt her mama tuck her in for the night. She pulled the plushy that her mama offered her close, then opened her lips for her pacifier. Once she started suckling away, a sense of calm washed over her as she settled into a steady rhythm.
Twilight let herself relax fully as the warmth of the sheets and her freshly-wet diaper started to lull her to sleep. The soft and calming voice of her mother reading her some Daring Do only served to make her sleepier, and as she slipped away into the world of dreams, Twilight felt her diaper start to swell and warm up.
