Now We Don't Have to Constantly Use the "Other" Tag!
Everything was calm and peaceful.
Nothing was happening.
Treehugger took in a deep breath, and continued to concentrate on the nothingness while simultaneously not concentrating on it.
Everything was sweet bliss-
"Holy crap, we have character tags!"
Until the forth-wall was broken, that is.
Treehugger let out an uncharacteristic sigh of annoyance, and opened her eyes.
"Yes, Sunburst," she said, "We have character tags now."
"But this is so huge!" yelled Sunburst, running up to where Treehugger had been meditating, knocking down several items in the process, "Now we shall be truly known to the world!"
"Well, not the whole world," said Tantabus, trotting over to the two ponies, "But it's still pretty sweet! I mean, all of us cool guys finally can be seen by something other than 'Other'!"
"Other than what?" asked Treehugger.
"Other than 'Other'!"
"Other what?"
"'Other'!"
"Other?"
"'Other'!"
"Other."
"'Other'."
"'Other'."
"'Oth-"
"Would you please shut up?" injected Sunburst, "This is just getting stupid."
"Geeze, that's mean!" said the Tantabus, "Good thing the author doesn't care about keeping us all in character at the moment-"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" interrupted Treehugger, "If you break the fourth-wall, do it more subtly!"
"Pfff, whatever."
"Now we can go back to just saying 'Other' to each other, unless of course someone else just random shows up and-"
"Now everyone can see my antlers!" cried out Thorax, randomly popping up in the middle of the three ponies/entities.
"Oh, hey Thorax," said Treehugger, "I assume that you heard about the character tags."
"Yup, yup, yup! I have my very own tag to be clicked so I can be seen and praised!"
"I'm not sure it quite works that way..." said Sunburst, who was ignored by Thorax.
"Clickity, clickity, my tag's gonna be clicked by soooooo many thiiiiiiiiiiings!"
"Uh, are you okay?" asked the Tantabus.
Thorax leaned up right in the Tantabus's face and whispered, "Clickity."
"Okaaaay..." the Tantabus slowly back away from Thorax, "Clickity right back at ya..."
"Ka-BOOM!" cried an obnoxiously adorable voice, causing everyone to groan.
"Hello, Flurry Heart," said Treehugger, now sounded very uncharacteristic with her angry voice, "How are you?"
The alicorn baby responding by letting out a lazer beam that just barely missed everyone in the area."
"I thought that stopped happening!" snapped Sunburst angrily.
"Ka-boom." responded Flurry, before vanishing in a flash of light.
"Well good riddance to her!" said the Tantabus.
"We haven't all been clickitied!" cried out Thorax suddenly.
"...What?" asked Sunburst.
"So the 'Other' doesn't have to be used! The new tags!"
"Thorax, that's what we're been talking about the whole time..." said Treehugger.
"But we have not all been clickitied in this tale of great lameness!"
"I'm going to humor you and let you continue talking." said the Tantabus.
"First Treehugger is clickitied, next Tantabus is clickitied, then Explosive Baby is clickitied, and then I am clickitied! MUH-HA-HA-HA!"
"...What?" asked Sunburst, again.
"Wait a second, he's right!" cried the Tantabus, "Only four of us who have been in this tale have been 'clickitied', and there's clearly been five of us!"
"Who hasn't been 'clickitied'?" asked Treehugger.
"I am clickitied!" cried Thorax, "I AM CLICKITIED!!!"
"Okay, so Thorax is 'clickitied'."
"Sparkly magic is clickitied!"
"So is Tantabus."
"Death baby is clickitied!"
"So is Flurry Heart."
"Crazy-talk pony is clickitied!"
"...Uh, that's me. So who wasn't 'clickitied'?"
Sunburst raised his hoof, "I know the answer! I know the answer!"
"I don't know!" said Tantabus, "Was it those items that Sunburst knocked over earlier?"
"I don't think so..." said Treehugger.
"I know! I know!" said Sunburst, bouncing in place.
"Uh..." said Tantabus, "Bliss?"
"No, I think that was an adjective. Or an adverb. Or a verb. Or whatever those things are called, those noun-like words or something."
"Call on me! Call on me!" said Sunburst.
"Ah-hah!" cried Tantabus, "I know how to figure it out!"
"How?" asked Treehugger.
"Ask someone!"
"Great idea! Okay, Tantabus, do you know who has not been 'clickitied'?"
"Nope! Treehugger, do you know who has not be 'clickitied'?"
"Nope! Thorax, do you-"
"Clicky-clack, down the track..." whispered Thorax.
"Okay! Sunburst, do you know who has not been 'clickitied'?"
"Yes!" Sunburst finally lowered his hoof, "SOMEBODY!"
Everyone was silent.
"The orange one was not clickitied..." hissed Thorax, "The one with the glass eyeball things..."
"So, it looks like the character who didn't get 'clickitied' was Sunburst!" declared Treehugger.
"WHAT?!?" cried Sunburst, "But I was the second character to come on! Plus, there's five 'clickities' one can use! That's just a waste!"
"No..." whispered Thorax, who was rolling around on the ground, "There is a fifth one who is clickitied..."
"Who?!?"
"Someone else..."
"I get that, but who is it?!? WHO STOLE MY CHARACTER TAG FOR THIS STORY?!?"
Flurry Heart suddenly appeared again, and blew everything up.
"AUGH!" cried White Lightning, sitting up quickly in bed, "What the heck?!? That was the weirdest dream ever!"
There was silence for a moment.
"Oh yeah... I live alone..."
She closed her eyes, and fell back asleep.
A figure poked it's head out from underneath White Lightning's bed, it's long antler's knocked over a light she had set up.
"Hee-hee-hee..." whispered Thorax, "Clickitied, clickitied, clickitied..."
