Hurt

Twilight was resting in her house silently resting. There was a knock on her door. She didn't really want to answer it as she was tired and wanted to rest but her door kept getting knocked on. She groaned. She got up and went over to her door. She opened it and saw Rarity standing there.

"Hi Rarity. What do you need?" Twilight asked her best friend. She wasn't expecting Rarity to come over to her place as she didn't have anything scheduled with Rarity. She thought that Rarity might just want to hang out with her so that's why she came to her place.

"Can I ask you something?" Rarity asked her friend. Twilight was surprised by this request as she had no idea what Rarity was going to say. She listened close so she could hear what she had to say as Rarity has asked her requests before but not unexpected like how this was.

"Sure go ahead." Twilight told her friend as she wanted to know what Rarity needed from her. Rarity looked to the side of Twilight as Twilight waited for her friend to tell her what she wanted. She then looked at Twilight and then waited for a few seconds and then spoke her request.

"Will you...." Rarity said stuttering. Twilight sighed. She had no idea why Rarity would have such a hard time asking her for something and she was sad that her friend was having a hard time to ask her for whatever she needed because she was her friend and she wouldn't mind.

"Just spit it out Rarity. Say whatever is on you mind. Whatever you ask for I won't mind and I'll be glad to help you out for something that you ask me for as that's what friends do and I'm your friend." Twilight said as she tried to put Rarity at ease in order for Rarity to have an easier time to ask her.

"Will you come with me?" Rarity asked. Twilight nodded and Rarity led Twilight to her place. When they got inside Twilight stood at the door and Rarity asked her in. Rarity closed her door and sat Twilight down. Rarity sat by her. Rarity turned to Twilight and Twilight looked right back at her.

Rarity stared deeply into Twilights eyes. Twilight looked back at her as she was getting a little uncomfortable under Rarity's gaze. Rarity tried to speak but felt like she couldn't. Twilight waited patiently wondering what Rarity wanted to say. She smiled as she waited.

"Twilight ever since we became friends we have grown close and have kept each others secrets. I hope you would understand when I ask you this." She said to Twilight. Twilight nodded as she understood what her friend was saying and made a promise to Rarity.

"Of coarse I'll understand. Your my friend and I'll listen to you and keep whatever you tell me a secret. You can trust me I have never let you down on something like that and if I ever did I would apologize." She said smiling at her friend. Rarity smiled back she was ready but she was a bit nervous.

"I got into an accident the other day. The reason why I'm telling you is because I don't want my other friends to worry about me. That's what this whole meeting is about. Can you do me a favor and just keep this for yourself? I would hate if the word got out and I would start getting annoying sympathy for myself." Rarity spoke. Twilight knew exactly what Rarity was saying.

"I know what you mean Rarity. I completely understand. I won't tell anypony I promise. Have you been okay since the accident Twilight said smiling. Rarity hugged Twilight as she was thankful for her best friend. Twilight hugged her back as she was glad that she could help her friend out. They then pulled away from the hug and Rarity spoke.

"Yes I have been okay ever since the accident happened. I went to the hospital to get patched up. Thanks Twilight it means a whole lot." Rarity said as she was put at ease. Twilight nodded as she was glad that Rarity was relieved. Twilight looked at the door and then back at Rarity.

"I have to go Rarity. Your secret is safe with me so don't worry. By the way what happened? You never told me exactly what had occurred? I'm just curious but I would understand if you didn't want to divulge that information." Twilight said smiling. Rarity decided to tell Twilight what happened.

"I slipped and fell while I was getting materials. It hurt me so I was afraid of telling you." Rarity said as she blushed from embarrassment. Twilight hugged her in sympathy for her and then sat her down.

"Can I take a look at it?" She asked smiling. Rarity nodded her head. Twilight looked at Rarity's wound and then got medical supplies. She then went back to Rarity and set the supplies down. She caressed Rarity's mane comfortingly.

"I'm going to patch you up is that alright?" Twilight said in a soft voice. Rarity nodded and Twilight got to work taking care of her friends wound. Soon she was done and hugged Rarity. They then pulled apart from each other.

Is that better?" Twilight asked her friend as she was concerned. Rarity looked at her wound and nodded her head yes. Twilight smiled and kissed Rarity's forehead. She then looked at Twilight and spoke.

Thanks for fixing my wound up. Your the best!" Rarity said. Twilight giggled as she thought Rarity was to cute.

"Your welcome." Twilight said as she was glad at she could help her friend.
