Deep Cover is Magic

Standard day; recording here so future days can list changes from the routine.

At 0600 I woke up. I strapped on my armor, downed a PLD, and was in training by 0615 (we have to be there by 0630, but coming earlier is better). We did warmup exercises until 0700, unarmed combat to 0830, polearm fighting to 1030, blade fighting to 1130, and broke for lunch until 1230. We continued with legionnaire training until 1400.

After that, we switched over to mental training. We solved puzzles, worked critical thinking problems, and various other mental fitness techniques. This lasted until 1500, when we began anti-interrogation conditioning until 1600. Next up was magic, through 1700. This was very exhausting, and I had difficulty even making my horn glow. Psionics, over the next hour, was easier, but still difficult. I can't imagine what it's like to be an archmage or archpsion--the power must be extraordinary! 1800-1900 we had dinner.

The evening was taken up by military academics. We studied tactics through 2030, strategy through 2130, and applied science, mostly pony biology, until 2200. We then had the rest of the night off, to do as we pleased. I
