Bro Strider and Davesprite's Excellent Equestrian Adventure
Bro opened his eyes groggily, feeling an immense pain in his chest. Looking up, there was a blinding flash of green light, but his eyes soon adjusted to the green fires that surrounded him. Jack Noir stood just feet away from him, still sparring with Davesprite. How the hell did that happen anyways? It wasn't relevant at the moment. Looking around, he saw that a pillar fell down on him and covered his chest. Lil Cal lay there on his lap, no movement in what seemed to be a empty shell of a puppet. That's what he thought it was, at least.
Davesprite held a sword in his hands. One of his wings was chopped off, lying there on the ground, but he was still attacking with full power. However, he was quickly disarmed. He attempted to fly away because he lost his sword, but Jack quickly grabbed his ghostly tail and dragged him back down, grabbing Davesprite's sword and returning it to its rightful place- through his chest. For a some reason, he disappeared along with his sword with a poof. Feathers were all that were left. Immediately, Jack took notice of Bro still being alive, and seized the unbreakable katana that laid on the ground. Bro immediately started to attempt moving the rocks that were upon him, but it was inevitable. Jack already stood before him, and looked him dead in the eyes through his kamina-like glasses.
Raising up the katana, he delivered the killing blow and struck bro through the chest. He split the rocks on top of Bro with immense strength, and the katana went straight through Bro's heart. He felt an even greater pain in his chest this time, but it went numb almost immediately. His vision began to blur as his heart stopped beating. The last thing he saw was the green fires and Jack's silhouette before closing his eyes and drawing his last breath.
Davesprite opened his eyes, feeling an immense pain in his shoulder. He grabbed it, but it didn't hurt at all. He looked back and immediately realized that his wing was gone. "Shit..." he said under his breath. He looked down, remembering that he was stabbed by Jack Noir. How did that even happen? He already had that sword through him, so why did he get damaged when the sword went through? However, the stab wound wasn't there. What was there was a bandage stained with golden blood. Looking to the side, he saw that his sword lay there. He couldn't return it to it's rightful place, as that could damage him more and potentially get him a game over. Speaking of Game Overs, how the hell did he survive that?! He didn't know, but he was thankful that he was alive for another day. He looked around, seeing that he was in some sort of bedroom. That would explain why he was bandaged up. But looking outside, he saw something strange. It looked like a swarm of bugs and they were.. attacking ponies?! 'The fuck is going on around here?!' He thought to himself. He backed away from the window, and heard voices coming from the nearby door.
"You heard Queen Chrysalis! Find the night princess and find her fast!" Said the slimy voice. Night princess? Davesprite grabbed his sword and floated out of the room, only to be met with three of those bug things. Except for the fact that those bugs were also ponies.
"Hey, we found... What in Faust's name is that?!" Shouted one of the three. Were they like NPC's or something? They were fucking creepy, but oddly cartoonish. It was like they were villains ripped straight from a fucking kids' show.
"Umm... Cartoon beast things?" Davesprite began, obviously wanting some clarification on what they were.
"Changelings. We're Changelings." The one in the front stated. Davesprite couldn't fucking believe this.
"Oh my fucking God. Is that what you're actually called? Like, as a species?" They exchanged strange looks with each other before nodding in approval. "Why the fuck would you call yourselves THAT of all things?! I mean, I know you all look like you came straight from some kids' show, but fucking hell you should get that fixed! I mean, why do they call you that in the first place?!" He ranted. The changeling in front stepped forward.
"Well, mysterious being, we're called changelings because we are able to transform into anything." It said, demonstrating by turning itself into Davesprite. The one-winged being in their presence looked somewhat surprised to see that.
"Oh. What a fucking twist." He began. The front changeling transformed back into it's buggy cartoon form and started snickering at Davesprite's remark. "Well... Changeling is still lame. I mean, aren't you guys like the fucking evil empire of this shittily animated world?" The changelings exchanged looks once again and nodded in agreement. "You guys should be called like... The Changeling Empire, or... something not shitty. Not just 'changelings'. That's both shitty AND lame." He said. Before he could continue to rant on their name, the front changeling hatched an idea.
"Hey uhh... buddy. What's your name?" Davesprite paused his rant and looked to the changelings.
"Davesprite." He simply said. The changeling smiled wickedly as he spoke to the fraud of an angel.
"Davesprite, why don't you come with us? We'll take you to our queen so you can tell her your wonderful ideas about name changes?" It said in a sly tone. Davesprite shrugged his shoulders.
"Why not? I just got here anyways, I should meet some people." He said. He then began to follow the changelings.
Bro sat up with a big massive headache. The pain in his chest had left for some reason. He put his hand on his forehead when suddenly, he noticed something- His sunglasses were missing. Luckily, he always had his extra pair around in case those shitty anime glasses broke or some crap like that. Taking them out of his back pocket and putting them on, he saw that he was inside of some sort of glowing cave. Looking up, he could see light. That's where he needed to go, but first he needed to find his belongings. Turning around, he found his totally not-shitty rocket-board lying on the ground. Picking it up, he noticed some pictures on the wall. It looked like a cave painting, but it was shittily drawn. However, looking at the thing, he saw ghosty floaty Dave and himself. What he saw next made him smirk.
