Under Arrest
The Possible Evidences
Previous ChapterThe Apple family still didn't get their stolen money back, and things were getting worse and worse. Big Mac and Applebloom were trying to harvest some apple trees and Granny didn't have enough ingredients to make her famous apple pies.
And yet Applejack was still trying to do that by getting paid for her hard work as a policewoman, slowly making some progress. She still helped her family harvest some apple trees and bought some more ingredients to help Granny with the apple pies and helped her make them. Applejack's cell phone rang while she was just about finished baking. She cleaned everything in the kitchen and answered it. It was her new friend, Starstrike, telling her to report to the police station immediately. She changed into her police uniform and drove there with her truck without traffic problems.
"What's an emergency?" she asked.
"Well, Miss Applejack," Sheriff Valiant said, "There's a new criminal who is hooded and unrecognizable. For one thing she does have gray skin so it could be any gray-skinned person."
"The only gray-skinned people I know are Derpy Hooves and Octavia Melody," said Applejack, "But there could be some other gal who's also gray-skinned."
"You're right," said Starstrike, "There's no telling who this hooded criminal is."
Sheriff Valiant searched some sort of an evidence or possibly some details about the Hooded Criminal. "This hooded criminal is gray-skinned, like I said," he said, "Obviously a teenage female, and has some criminal records. She's last seen at Crystal Prep Academy on Friday afternoon at 3:00 pm."
"What did she do illegally?" asked Fireblaze.
"Robbery, vandalism, ransom and murder," said Sheriff Valiant, "But she could commit more crimes if we don't stop her! So let's move on the double!!!"
The police-people went to their police cars and took off from the police station.
Starstrike and Applejack were inside the same police car, and Applejack was driving. Starstrike was on the passenger side, giving her some helpful tips. Applejack listened to every single word she was hearing while still driving in the highway. Her eyes were focused on and around the road, to make sure no one was breaking any laws.
Just then, she saw some spray paint markings on the side of the restaurant and pulled over to investigate.
"Good eye, Applejack!" said Starstrike as she got out of the police car, "This could be the work of that hooded criminal Sheriff Valiant was telling us about."
"Vandalism," said Applejack as she touched the fresh painted spray paint marking, "And that spray paint's fresh like an apple freshly plucked from an apple tree."
"Freshly marked from a spray paint," said Starstrike as she also touched the spray paint marking.
"Uh, girls?" said Fireblaze, "You might wanna check this out."
The two girls ran to an another crime scene where some middle-aged man was killed behind the restaurant. It seemed to them that he was shot in the stomach and the chest, and there were fresh blood on and underneath him.
"Someone must've killed the manager of this very restaurant," continued Fireblaze, "But could it be that hooded criminal who shot him?"
"Could be," said Starstrike. Then she found something beside the manager's body. It was something that didn't seem to make any sense. "That's odd," she said, "What was this object doing beside the body? Why was it there? No matter, we'll find some answers soon enough." She picked up the small object with a pair of tweezers and placed it inside the small bag.
Inside the restaurant, Applejack was extremely cautious, ready for anything to come at her. No one was inside but left behind some evidences. She found the empty and destroyed cash register and several killed employees in the main dining room, and the kitchen. The blood was also fresh and spread almost everywhere. It almost was like the haunted restaurant, but worse.
Just then, she found a bloody pocketknife on the floor. She picked it up and placed it inside the bag to mark it as an evidence.
"Well that ain't surprisin'," she said, "I bet it was razor sharp when that no-good hooded varmint killed someone in here."
