Chapter 1 - Arrival
Y'know, the last thing I thought I would be doing is waking up after a nice night of sipping (gulping) wine and binge watching Netflix to a world where I've been chased by a fucking wooden wolf, only to narrowly escape by running away and climbing up a tree. I waited in said tree for three hours til' it lost interest. Where the hell am I? Because I'm definitely not in Kansas anymore.

I'm sitting on my couch with a blanket, wine, and potato chips after a long day of work, looking forward to the weekend, I'm scrolling through Netflix looking for something to watch, I come across a show named Sherlock and tune its first episode. Looks good.

"I'm not a psychopath, Anderson, I'm a high a functioning sociopath, do your research!" I chuckle, slouching into the couch and eating the chips one at a time. This shows great, fuckin hell man i'm getting tired though.. I yawn, setting the wine I had and chips on the coffee table, slowly luling to sleep. "Mm.. Sleep.." Next thing I know I'm waking up in the middle of a forest.

I'm currently sauntering through this blasted forest, not knowing where I am. How much did I drink last night? Am I having hallucinations or was that really a wolf made out of wood? It was much bigger than the wolves that are normally around my town.. I'm thirsty, hungry, and ready to find a bed to sleep in because I really don't want to sleep out here tonight. I'm probably going to, there's nothing here but trees and shit. These are redwood trees, they're huge. Eh, continue walking, me.
I've been walking through this forest for so long.. I really need something to do or I'm going to get bored and start doing stupid shit. I carefully walk down a steep incline, minding my footing. I peer ahead catching sight of a body of water. Oh, holy shit is that a lake?! My luck has just turned a bit.
“Oh fuck yes.” I rush to the river and fall down on my knees in front of it, cupping my hands and shoveling water into my mouth, drinking greedily. The water soothes my dry throat. I sigh then stare at my reflection, looking at my dirty grass-stained clothes, dirt covered face, and messy hair. It's been a few days since I arrived here somehow, I still have found no sign of people or anything. How is it possible that I pass out on the couch and end up here? Back to my face anyway..
"I look like shit." I sigh, cupping my hands into the water and rubbing it into my face to try and get the dirt off. I look at my reflection in the rippling water, scanning my face. "Eh, better.." I gaze around the area, looking for any sign of civilization, I shake my head, disappointed in what I find, which is absolutely nothing but a lake and the vast majority of trees. I'm going to have to bunker down for the night. At least my dad taught me how to survive in situations like this. He was always happy that he had a tomboyish daughter.
I miss him.. I have his favorite lighter, his zippo. 'To light the way when it's dark.' Is engraved on it. Heh, he was always so philosophical...

"Okay Alyx, pass me that spanner." My dad's under his car, teaching me how to work on cars.
"Okay dad!" Little fourteen year old me takes the spanner handing it to him.
"Thank you, little tiger. You see, this is the--" He goes out into full detail about the engine and how to fix basic problems with it. I sit, listening to him closely.
"That's awesome! I wanna become a mechanic when I grow up, like you!" My dad grins, looking at me from under the car, some oil squirts onto his face. I giggle at him, pointing at it. "I think you got something there." He chuckles, coming from under the car and grabbing a rag to wipe it off.
"Just a little oil. So, you wanna become a mechanic when you grow up." I respond with a 'Yeah!'. "You're gonna have to work hard long hours, but I swear its worth it. If you like helping me with this you'll be a natural." I beam at him.

That was two months before he was diagnosed with leukemia, he went to the doctor for joint pain, came back with news that ruined us. I cried for hours, Todd did as well. We hugged him tight as he told us he was going to go for treatment as soon as he can. The treatment didnt help, he died two yeats later. I still remember being beside his hospital bed, Todd and mom left, they couldn't stand seeing him that way..

"Dad..." I hold his hand, standing beside him. The doctor told us he has minutes. There's nothing he could do.
"Hey, Little Tiger.. This is pretty bad, huh?.." He coughs hard, spiting up some blood, I wipe his mouth squeezing his hand. "Look, Alyx. I love you so.. So, so much.." I wipe my eyes. "Stay strong, your mother and brother need you. You're the man of the house now." He jokes, smiling at me.
I smile back at him before it falls. "I'm going to miss you.. So much." My breathing is heavy, tears falling from my eyes. "Uhm.. I have something to tell you.. I'm.. I'm gay.. I just wanted you to know before you.." I wipe my eyes again, to unblur my vision.
"I know, Alyx." He smiles squeezing my hand weakly. "I saw you with Jess. You make a cute couple."
I laugh, my voice shaking. "Y-you saw that? Heh.. She's great.. Goddamn it you dont even get to have the 'I'll hurt you if you hurt my daughter talk with her..' I should of told you way sooner.. Please don't go dad.. I need you so much.."
"You're strong. You're not little anymore. I.." He coughs again, he looks really bad. "I love you, Tiger. Dont ever forget that. I'm sorry this happened.." He closes his eyes, the heart monitor slows down to a faint noise. A noise that means my dad is gone.
My eyes widen and I let out evrrything, I cry loudly. Hugging him. "Please, no! Not now! Why.. Why..."

I wipe my eyes, crying. Oh god do I miss him..
I stand up, running a hand through my hair, sighing sadly. I continue walking, scanning my surroundings for a place to shelter me. I come across a nice formation of rocks, there's a hole big enough to get into. Looks like this is where I'm staying tonight. Better make a fire, gotta keep warm or you'll die. I just wish I found something to eat. I gather some twigs, sticks, and some moss to help start the fire. I put the twigs into a little pile, putting the moss inside, I take another twig, lighting the tip of it so I can set the moss on fire. It slowly starts to burn. A few minutes later and I've made a tiny fire, I teepee some sticks over it and warm up my hands. "There we go eh? Not that shabby.. I can probably stay alive for a good week if I'm careful... Talking to myself.." I grunt, setting some more twigs in the fire, it's grown larger. Nice.
I sit down, warming myself by the fire. "This will all be over soon. You'll see mom and Todd again.. Fuck." Todd's my younger brother, he's nineteen and in college right now. Mom told him he should wait a bit but he went anyway, wanted to become a quantum engineer. I don't understand half the shit he says but I love em'. I want to see them so bad.. I toss some more twigs and another stick into the fire.

I wake up, looking above the sun is in the middle of the sky so it's safe to say it's noon. Might as well continue walking. I look to my fire, it's charcoal and embers now, I stamp on it, not wanting it to somehow make a forest fire and then set off on my way. I could really go for a burger right now.. Crunchy bun, meat, cheese, onions, bacon, and tomato.. Some ketchup and mayo.. Fuck, I'm making myself hungry. I really gotta find some help. My feet are aching. I've been walking for good two hours now, i could really use another river just to strip and cool down in because i'm sweating like a pig. Why did I have to wake up in some random ass forest with no memory how I got here?
I pass a little flower patch and take a look, there's a really pretty blue one here. It's hard not to want to touch it.. I've never seen it before, but, pretty things are usually poisonous so let's not die.
An hour later I find myself at the exit of the forest, I walk out and look around, I smile. I finally am out of that fucking tree infested shithole, now to find some civilization. And a burger. Well fuck, that's lucky. I spot a little cottage, someone must be there.. "Please be there.. And have food." I walk up to the door and knock on it firmly.
"Hello? I could use some help.." I lean over to see through the window but a curtain is in the way.
"H-hello?.." The doors squeaks open and a yellow horse with a pink mane, no, pony, it's too small, opens the door slightly, peeking her head through. "Who.." The pony looks up at me, fear entering her eyes as she slams the door "Eep!"
This couldn't of gotten any fucking weirder. A pony just talked. To me. In English. Definitely not in Kansas anymore. "What.. Uhm.. I'm not going to.. To hurt you.. I'm just really hungry, I've been out in the forest for a couple days.." I'm talking through a door to a pony. Who can talk. What. I may not be freaking out on the outside, but on the inside it's Black Friday.
The door opens again and the pony looks up at me, still afraid but willing to help. "You were in the Everfree? You poor.. Thing.. Sorry.. I can help.." The door opens all the way, allowing me to duck through and walk in. "Uhm.. W-what are you? If you want to answer.." She's really shy. A shy, yellow, colorful pony with wings. A Pegasus. Am I in a children's cartoon? I have to be on drugs or something.
Her voice is feminine, I look down at her and scratch my head. I crouch down so I'm not towering over her. "Well.. I'm a human.. I'm not exactly from around here.. I.." I sigh. This is weird. "I have no idea where I am." She gasps.
"W-well, Ms.Human.. Y-you're in Equestria.." What the fuck is Equestria. I'm probably not even in my own world anymore. I'll have to have my freak out when I'm not around this colorful, talking pony that's shy. When you say you've seen everything something throws you a weird thing.
"Equestria.." She nods, her expression has changed to one of sympathy, she paws the floor, looking at me. "I know I'm definitely far from home.." I sigh
"What's.. What's your name?.. I'm Fluttershy.." The name matches her personality, huh. This might be weird, but she seems.. Nice.
"I'm Alyx.. It's.. Nice to meet you Fluttershy." I smile tiny, running a hand through my hair. "You don't think you could spare some food and maybe a shower?.."
"O-oh! Sorry.. Yes.. Um.. The shower is in the bathroom.. The far room, that way.." I nod and say thanks. Ugh, I only have these clothes so I'm going to have to wear them after the shower and they're filthy. I smell my shirt, sniffing a campfire smell and sweat. "I'm gonna go take that shower.. Thank you Fluttershy." She smiles at me and heads into what I presume is the kitchen. Probably making me something to eat. I walk to the washroom, closing and locking the door behind me. I face the door, Now having said freak out.
"There's a pony that talks and has a colorful scheme making me food well I shower in her cottage. What the fuuuuuuuck.. I am totally insane. This is going to be so fucking weird. There's probably more ponies. I shake my head breathing heavily. I turn around, facing the other way.
"Small shower.. Great." I walk over to the small shower, I'll have to bend down to wash my hair.. I strip down, throwing my dirty clothes on the floor by the sink which is also smaller than I am. I turn the knobs, getting it to my preferred temperature and step in. I kneel down, letting the water soak my hair and stick to my skin. "Oooh.. That's nice.." I open my eyes and look at the.. mane shampoo and read the ingredients.
Eh, looks safe. I squirt the thick liquid into my hand and rub it into my hair, I rinse it out with the shower and inhale a nice lemon scent. I grab the conditioner next, might as well give my hair it's softness, t's been through so much. I chuckle, rubbing it into my hair. I scrub it out a few minutes later and sigh happily, my hair back to its normal state. I finish up with my shower and turn the knobs off. I get out and dry off with a towel. I sigh, thinking over the last couple of days. This has been so freaky. What if I'm brought into some kind of place and experimented on?.. Oh god, what if Fluttershy is getting someone to bring me in. It's what humans would do. I try and steady my breathing, I dress back up in my dirty clothes, I unlock the door and push it open. I exhale and step out, walking through the hallway into the sitting room and into the kitchen to see Fluttershy making.. Fish? She notices me and smiles tiny.
"H-hello Alyx.. I um.. Made you fish because I noticed you have.. Canines.." She paws the ground and moves the pan to put the fish on the plate using her hooves. Somehow, grabbing the handle. That's freaky.
"Thank you Fluttershy.. And yeah, I'm an omnivore.." I smile, sitting down at the little table. I just notice that there's little critters running all over the place, squirrels, birds.. Is that a wolf? Wow. Animal pers-- pony. I shake my head "I love fish." Would rather have a burger but cows might talk as well. Damn. I take a bite, tasting the fish and smiling.
Wow, this is really good.. Who knows, maybe there's someone who can get me home. Fluttershy sits on the small seat across from me, seeing if I like it. She smiles at my smile and looks pleased.
I think I'll be alright..

Chapter 2 - Unknown Occurrence
Todd
I knock my knuckles, resulting in a crisp clear sound on my sister's apartment door, I sigh, waiting for a few seconds before knocking louder. She's not answering my calls, she hasn't been at work for two days and I'm starting to get worried. We used to talk almost every night, but then it suddenly stopped. I really hope nothing bad happened..
I sigh and wiggle the knob, it's unlocked. My brow furrows as I turn the knob and push open the door.
What I see is enough for me to widen my eyes and gasp.
There's shit thrown everywhere. The TV is smashed, the couch is pulled apart, there is even knives stuck in the walls and ceiling. "What.." I walk in, stepping on broken glass. "Something went down here.. Alyx?!"
I look around for any sight of her, but there is none. I walk deeper into the apartment and here the slam of the door and the deadbolt locking. I quickly turn around a deep, accented voice comes from behind me, the voice said something but I couldn't make it out. Something heavy hits my head and I fall to the floor, I look up and see a big glowing golden light, a ringing fills my ears and a big flash enters my gaze, as bright and nosy as a flash bang. This, is when I fall unconscious.
Alyx
I've learned more about Fluttershy from my time with her, she takes care of a shit ton of different animals all at once. I have no idea how they don't eat each other. I've been with her in her cottage for at least four days now. We've warmed up to each other and became quick friends, we don't even stutter around each other anymore.. Well, there was that time she opened the bathroom door well I was showering, she has a see-through curtain And I spent the next thirty minutes telling her why I have boobs on my chest and why I'm embarrassed to be seen naked. It was pretty awkward we definitely stuttering a lot then.
After that I dressed up in a blanket, she apologized a lot and gave me a hug, ponies are soft. It was like hugging a huge warm marshmallow.. She also said she would clean my clothes, It was cute. Now, she wants me to meet her friends and I'm.. Let's just say I'm pretty anxious.
"What if they hate me?" My leg bumps up and down, an unconscious movement. I look at Fluttershy, she's sitting beside me on her couch.
"They won't hate you.. Rainbow Dash and Applejack might be suspicious but they'll warm up to you.." She smiles at me. I scratch my head and give her a small smile back.
"I'm still worried.. Who am I meeting first?" I question, looking at the door.
"You're meeting my friend, Twilight. The one who might be able to get you home."
"Oh, yeah." She told me a bit about her, she's geeky, bookish, and really smart. Also, that she is the Princess of Friendship and has a horn and wings, an alicorn. That's a little jarring. Let's hope she can get me home. It gets quiet for awhile, we just sit there waiting for Twilight.
"When did you say she was coming?" I nervously rub the back of my neck, looking back at Fluttershy.
"Sometime in the hour, I sent a message yesterday to meet sometime now.." She replies, giving another smile to me.
"Okay.." I tap my fingers on the spot beside me, a little twitchy.
I really need to calm down.
Twilight
16:25 - Yesterday
A message drops in front of me, I smile, seeing Fluttershy's signature on it. She finally used that new message sender I gave her for a present a bit ago for her birthday. I unfold it, reading the text.
Twilight,
Hello! It's the first time I'm using this so it's a little weird.. I didn't even know I had to press the button to make it work at first.. I'm sending this message because somepony, well, someBODY has shown up to my door and isn't exactly from here.. And by here, I mean this world.
Her name is Alyx and she say's that she is a human. I've never heard of humans before and I'm wondering if you had!
I shake my head, I have never heard of a species called human before, what if they're dangerous? I keep reading.
Before you rush over here thinking she's dangerous or something I want to tell you that she is not, she has even been helping me around the cottage! She is really nice.
I want you to meet her so you should come over sometime around 2PM tomorrow if you could. Unless you have something else to do.

I place the note on the table and levitate a book out of one of the castle library's bookshelf. "Spiiiikkkkeeeeee!" I yell out, calling to my number one assistant.
He walks into the room with a groggy look on his face, I must have woken him from a nap. "Sorry to wake you Spike, but could you put something into my schedule, I'm meeting with Fluttershy tomorrow sometime around two PM!" He mumbles, walking out of the room nodding.
The book I levitated over is named, 'Unknown Mysterious Creatures and Where To Find Them'. I flip open to the first page of the two-thousand-six-hundred-and-fifty-two paged book. Let's see if 'humans' are in here..
Alyx
Present Time - 2:25
I couldn't get calm, I'm still so nervous right now.. What if-.. No, no 'what if's, if I do that I will start to scare myself. Just greet her, talk a bit and it'll be alright. Nothing bad will happen..
I'm still not so sure.
I might still be freaking out a bit. Seriously, it's been a miniscule amount of time since I found out I'm on a world of magical talking ponies that have the same intelligence has humans. This has all been quite freakish and interesting at the same time. Fluttershy has taught me a little bit of the history of her world and I found out that she's pretty much a national hero along with all her friends, so that's a bit jarring.
A knock sounds on the door and my eyes flip to it quickly. "Are you sure she'll like me?" Fluttershy nods and hops off the couch, she walks over to the door and opens it.
I watch a lavender unicorn walk through the door greeting Fluttershy on the way in, this must be Twilight. Her eyes find me and widen, she approaches slowly.
"Hello, I'm Twilight Sparkle. One of Fluttershy's friends. This must be all bizarre for you, coming from a different world." I nod silently, trying to get the confidence to speak.
"Yes.. It's been, uhm.. Quite odd.. I'm Alyx." I scratch my head, fuck I'm awkward.
She smiles, raising a foreleg and extending her hoof to me, presuming to shake my hand. I take it, wrapping my fingers around her hoof. Her eyes look at the fingers and widen, she looks quite in awe of them. "It's wonderful to meet you Alyx, welcome to Equestria. I hope we can be good friends."
I smile back, my nervousness fading away. "I hope we can too." I let go of her hoof and she let's it fall back to the ground, Fluttershy comes up beside her.
"Twilight is one of the smartest ponies I know. I'm sure she can find you a way home." Fluttershy says, reassuring me. Fluttershy hops up beside me, sitting on her haunches. Twilight sits on the armchair to the left of us.
"So, Alyx, I was thinking.. Could you tell me some stuff about your world?" Twilight smiles sheepishly. "I'd like to learn more about humans!" Her horn glows with a lavender-pinkish hue and a notebook and pen float out, with the same hue, out of a little side pack she's wearing.. Levitated. Magic.. Okaythen.
"Only if you tell me about magic.. My world doesn't have magic, the only type of magic we have is cheap card tricks and illusions." I look at her horn in awe. Dude, having magic would be fucking amazing. I wouldn't even have to move from the couch to get food.
“Of course!” She claps her hooves together, looking really excited. “Ooooh, this is going to be so fun! So! How about we start with.. Hmm.. Tell me about yourself!” I chuckle, smiling at Twilight.
“Okay! Huh.. Where do I start.. I was a mechanic back in my world, worked on pretty much anything with an engine really. I was a quiet girl growing up didn't know a lot of people, just a small group of people that I could call my friends.” I move some of my hair out of my face, watching the lavender alicorn write down what I'm saying.
“Hmm.. Anything with an engine? The only things that have engines here are our trains, airships, etc.. I knew what growing up like that felt like, except I didn't feel the need for friends, I just wanted to complete my studies. All I needed in life was my books.” She smiles at me. “That was until I was sent to Ponyville to make friends.” Ponyville. Oh my god this world just gets more ridiculous.
“Sent to Ponyville? By who?”
“Oh, Princess Celestia. This is when I was just a unicorn. I was her Protégé ever since I was a foal. Not anymore, obviously since I'm a princess too!” Huh, so, a national hero, princess, and was the protégé of Princess Celestia. Fuckin’ hell.
“Wow,” I shake my head “That's pretty.. Woah.” I lean back into the couch, noticing Fluttershy is gone. Huh, where'd she go?
“It is pretty.. Woah.” She giggles, placing her notebook down. “Now, Alyx, I'm going to try to find a way to get you home, I promise.” She smiles sympathetically, Fluttershy enters the room with a teapot and three teacups.
“Thank you Twilight, it means a lot to me.” I smile back at her, Fluttershy puts the tea essentials on the coffee table in front of us.
“Tea?” Fluttershy gives us each a cup, we both say thank you, I take a sip. Mm..
Todd
I stand up from my uncomfortable unconsciousness, I notice the unusual situation I'm in.
Whose home is this?
I look around, it seems I'm in a cabin. All I remember from my knockout is the ringing and bright golden light. What the hell.. I look at my clothes, they look fine, not dirty at all, like they were freshly cleaned.. I look to the place I woke up, it's a sleeping bag, fitted with an extra pillow. Someone was caring for me when I was unconscious.
I feel a presence behind me and flip around, seeing a creature I've only seen in mythology, a gryphon. “It looks like you're finally awake.” It has a feminine voice, I back up, tripping over my bed place. “Woah, goddamn, be careful!” She rushes to my aid, helping me up.
“You're.. Oh, fucking hell. What drugs am I on?..” I cut my arm on the way down, the wooden wall’s fault.
“Pretty sure you're not any…” The gryphon stands me up, making sure I'm not going to fall again.
“Well I have to be! Gryphon's aren't real, You aren't real!” I breath quickly, staring at her.
“You're definitely not from around here are you? I am very real and you, look like you need to sit down for a minute to get your mind in order.” The gryphon leads me to a wooden chair and sits me down on it, I put my face in my hands, rubbing it. I look up at feathered myth in front of me.
“So… Uh.. Where exactly am I then?”
“Well, you're in my cabin, which happens to be in a forest called the Everfree, in a country called Equestria, where there's talking ponies, gryphons, dragons.. Hmm..” My eyes widen with each word, almost bursting out of the sockets. Holy shit, this has got to be a joke. Equestria? I take sometime to gather my thoughts. The gryphon is talking but I'm not listening currently. I'm still trying to wrap my head around everything.
“I need some air.” She looks at me, pointing to the door with a claw. I get up and walk towards it, opening it. I step outside and feel a crisp, cool breeze on my face. I goto the nearest tree and sit down, leaning my head against it.
“Fucking.. Is this what happened to Alyx maybe? Is she somewhere here? Hopefully she's safe..” I'm talking out loud to myself, I do that a lot; it’s a really bad habit.
The gryphon gives me some space, watching me from the door, leaning against the frame. I look at her and then back to the ground. I gotta find Alyx.. I look back to the gryphon; maybe she can help me.
I stand up, taking a deep breath. I walk over to her, extending my hand to her. “I'm Todd..” She grins, taking my hand in her claw, giving a firm shake.
“My name's Amelia. It's good to finally talk to yeh, Todd. I've been takin’ care of you for a day now, found yah in some bushes over west of here.” She let's go of my hand, I scratch my head. I notice that she's a good foot shorter than me, and I come up to five foot, eleven inches.
“Well, thanks for that. Hey.. Do you think you could help me find someone, my sister? She's about your height. Dark brown hair, kinda looks like me, and doesn't really hang around strangers.”
“Well, I have not seen anybody fittin’ that description here. Yeh might as well try Ponyville, about seven kilometers attaway.” She points in the direction. “Oi, this forest is pretty dangerous so I'm gonna accompany you through dem’, I don't wanna find chur’ mangled corpse out there. You're a pretty chill guy, besides the little freakout.” She smirks, definitely not going to take no for an answer, I agree, not knowing what's out in those woods, it would be stupid not to get help.
“Alrighty then! Let me get sum’ supply and we'll be on our way!” She retreats into the cabin, taking essentials and tossing them into a large backpack. She fastens a belt around her waist, clipping a sword holster onto it and slipping a sword into it. “Can neva’ be too careful.” She tosses another holster to me, already brandishing a sword inside. I shrug and clip it to my belt. I feel like a goddamn knight. She bandaged my little cut I got from the little freakout I had and she finishes packing.
She tosses the bag over her shoulders and we head out the door into the forest.
“Yeh know how to use that?” She asks, referring to the sword she gave me.
“Nope, not at all.” I chuckle, looking at her.
“Eh, it's pretty easy, just have tah’ know when to strike or guard.” She shrugs, stepping over a fallen tree, I would've thought gryphon's are quadrupeds, not bipedal. What do I know though? All my facts I have on gryphon's are from stories.
“Alright.” We keep walking, avoiding some ‘Timberwolves’, a wolf, but bigger and made out of wood. Damn weird as hell.
It's been about an hour since we've started walking now, I've learned quite a bit about Amelia. She moved here, to Equestria, from her homeland Aceiae. Which is pretty much on the other side of this planet. She said it was a long and dangerous trip but she's happy to be here. Her homeland her currently involved in a war against a neighbouring country, this world isn't as different as mine; there's just more sapient beings here.
“So! Todd, I've told you some stuff ‘bout myself, how about you?” Huh, what is there to tell?
“Well. I just finished college back home, was looking for a job.. Any need for quantum engineers in Equestria?” I joke, stuffing my hands into my pockets.
She chuckles “I have no idea. You'd have to go lookin’.”
I shake my head, stepping over another fallen tree, there's a lot of them out here. “Eh, it's not like I brought my résumé here, I don't even remember exactly how I came here. I went looking for my sister since she hasn't been seen for a couple days, entered her apartment, heard someone say something and then just saw a big flash of light.”

“Wow. Fluttershy, that tea was great!” I grin at said pony. “You gotta tell me what you did to make it so good.”
The pink-maned pony blushes, smiling. “Aw.. Thank you Alyx.. Maybe I will.”
Twilight finishes her tea, standing up from her seat. “I better be going, I have to check on Spike to make sure he's reshelving the library.”
“Alright, see you, Twilight. It was nice getting to know you.. And you still whole me an explanation on magic!”
Twilight giggles and nods “Of course. Goodbye girls!” She exits the cottage, waving us goodbye.
“See? That went very well! I told you that you didn't have to worry about anything..” Fluttershy beams at me and I chuckle, standing up and stretching.
“You were right.. But that was just one of your friends. I still have to meet four others..”
“True, but, it's good to make new friends.” I nod to that.
“Uhm.. Fluttershy? Do you think when we go meet your other friends we could do it out of here? I'm not saying I don't love your cottage, but a girl needs fresh air..”
“Of course! I was thinking we could go see my friend Rarity at her home, she makes clothes and other things!” What would a pony need clothes for?.. Well, I guess special gatherings and stuff. As long as she doesn't try to make me a dress I'll be fine.
Okay.. Some new clothes would be amazing. These are getting quite worn out. “What's she like?”
“Well, she's very generous, loves when she finds new inspiration for clothes..” She goes on about her, describing how she loves helping ponies and such.
“She sounds pretty nice, when would we be going to meet her?” She tells me probably sometime today, I look at the little clock on the wall, it reads 4:26.
“Alright.. I think I'm up for it, how about now? Might as well get it out of the way..” Fluttershy smiles, nodding and trots off to the front door, taking her bag, that looks like a saddle... You know if I just called it a saddlebag it would have saved six words.
“Angel! I'm going out with Alyx, be good and watch over the other animals!” Angel appears, saluting Fluttershy and hopping off; that little bunny's awesome.
Fluttershy and I exit the cottage, walking towards the town known as Ponyville. Which still makes me snicker every time I hear it. Fluttershy told me that I'm probably gonna freak out a bunch of ponies because they've never seen something like me. Meh, whatever, it doesn't really matter unless they try to hurt me.
It's a pretty quiet walk until we get into town, that's when a shut ton of whispering starts happening, ponies staring at me and stuff; I just wave at them nonchalantly. “I'm definitely not going to get used to ponies staring..”
“They'll get used to you soon, Alyx.. I did!” I look down at Fluttershy, she's smiling at me. I smile back and look ahead.
“So.. How much farther?”
“Just a tiny bit more!”
We approach a building that I can say looks like the most girliest thing I have ever seen. It looks like if a shit ton of colors had an orgy with hearts and a carousel in the mix.
“Here we are!” Fluttershy walks up to the door and pushes it open, I walk in behind her. “Rarity? It's Fluttershy! I have somepony you would want to meet. She's not exactly a pony though.. Her name is Alyx!” A pony that I can only describe as a fashionista unicorn walks in and her eyes immediately latch onto me.
“Oh my! Hello!” She gasps, her eyes trailing my clothes. “My word, your clothes!”
“My clothes?”
“They are absolutely dreadful! All worn out, ripped.. I must make you a new set!” She trots closer, eyeing my clothes suspiciously.
“Uh.. I can't exactly pay you..”
“No need! The first set is free for new customers.” She walks off. “I will be back!”
I look at Fluttershy with a ‘What the fuck just happened’ look, scratching my head. She giggles. “Rarity is always like that, once you get to know her she's really down to earth.”
“Huh.. I am moderately afraid and excited at the same time..” Fluttershy just snickers at that as Rarity walks back into the room.
“Now! I need to take your measurements, could you please remove your clothing?”
I stare at her, then remember ponies don't exactly wear clothes all the time. “Uhm.. Rarity. My species, humans, wear clothes all the time.. It's uh.. Kinda taboo..”
Rarity nods, understanding. “I see, there is another species that has that certain taboo, even though there is some of them that don't follow it; gryphons. I've designed clothes for them before! I can just take the measurements and attune for the clothes.” She smiles, using her magic to take the measurements she needs. “Aaannd done! You shall have a stylish set of clothes in the hour! Anything you would like? The customer is always right!”
I think for a second “How about some plain jeans and a plaid shirt? Also.. Uh.. Could you make some undergarments?”
“Like what dear? We're all female here.”
“Uhm, panties and a bra?” I blush, feeling a little self conscious.
“I can definitely make the first but I'll have to ask about the latter, what is a bra?” Uh.. How to explain this.. Eh, I can just show them..
I reach under my shirt, unclasping my bra and pulling it out in one fellow movement. “This.”
“Ah.. I'm guessing this is to hold up.. Those?” She points at my chest and I nod, still blushing.
“Yeah.. Thank you for this Rarity.” I let her take the bra, she starts inspecting it.
“Oh, it's no problem my dear! I am the element of generosity after all!” She grins “Anyway! I need to work! Tahtah! Be back in an hour and I shall have new clothes for you, Alyx! She magics me my bra back and heads into the back.
“Well I can definitely say that she's awesome.” I smile, talking to Fluttershy as we walk out.
“I'm glad you like her! She's always been such a nice pony. We go out to the spa every so often.. You should come sometime!” She looks up at me. Spa? Yeeaaaah, no.
“I don't really like to go to spas, Fluttershy..” I shrug.
“But… Please?” She pouts and gives me puppy dog eyes, I stare at her. Don't.. Give in.. Fuck.
I sigh, pinching the bridge of my nose. “Fine.. Damnit, Fluttershy why are you so adorable.. You can get anything with that look.” She giggles and we walk on.
“So.. Where are we going now?”
“I thought we could have some dinner! We still have awhile till we have to pick up your clothes.. I know a nice place!” She leads me to a.. Is that a fucking gingerbread building? Oh.. They better have cake..
Fluttershy and I enter and immediately all I see is pink.
“OH WOW! MY NAMES PINKIE PIE! WHAT'S YOURS!? WHAT ARE YOU!? DO YOU LIKE THIS!?” A cupcake gets shoved into my mouth, I munch on it tasting something a little spicy. Fluttershy just stands there giggling up a storm.
“Ohm mah gawd! Mmmm!” I swallow it, savoring the taste. “That was amazing..” I look at the bubbly, hyper pony in front of me. “I'm Alyx, a human, and it was delicious.. Pinkie Pie right?”
“Yessiree! Or is it yessma’amreee? It just doesn't sound right. Just call me Pinkie! Or Pinks.. Or double-o-nine! Don’t ask about that last one.” Her eyes shift around suspiciously. Pinkie gasps, “You're new in town! I gotta plan you a ‘Welcome-to-Ponyville, Alyx!’ party!” She runs off into the back of the bakery.
“Fluttershy.. What just happened?” I blink, confusion evident on my face.
“Pinkie happened.. Don't question it.” I just nod dumbly to that, following Fluttershy to a little booth, a baby blue coated mare approaches the booth.
“Hello Fluttershy! Who's this?” She looks at me, it's clear she has no idea what I am.
“I'm Alyx.. I don't exactly come from here..” I twiddle my fingers, looking at the new arrival in front of me.
“I can definitely see that! I'm Mrs. Cake! My husband and I run this little bakery.. You like Baking, Alyx?”
I did a bit of baking back home, mostly when I really wanted some fresh homemade cookies.. Mm..
“I do, I did a bit back home. I absolutely love anything having to do with cookies or cake.” I smile, chuckling “I have a bit of a sweet tooth..”
Mrs Cake giggles, “Most beings do, everyone loves a good cookie.. Now! What can I get you both?”
Fluttershy gets a piece of cake, I go for some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. As soon as I bit into one I almost moaned, it's so good! Fluttershy giggles at the little noise I made. “When I first had a treat from here I did exactly what you did. The stuff here is so delicious..” I nod, taking another cookie into my mouth. Fucking hell, if I had money here I'd get these every single day, I'd be so goddamn fat dude.
We finish up those amazing treats and leave for Rarity’s to see if my clothes have been made yet. If I'm going to be staying here for an unknown amount of time I'm going to need to get a job. They don't have cars here so that line of work is out. Damn.. Eh, I'll find something.
Amelia
We've traveled pretty far now, this guy Todd is alright, he's a quantum engineer, whatever what is, is kinda cute actually, for a whatever he is, I'll have to ask, and is very focused on finding his sister.
“So, how far now Amelia?” He asks me, I look up at ‘em, thinking how far we've walked.
“We should be close now. Maybe a kilometer left!” I answer, looking ahead and grabbing my canteen, taking a swig. I hold it up to him. “Want a sip? Yah don't wanna get dehydrated out here.” He nods, taking it from me with his hand and gulps some down.
“Thanks.” He smiles and passes back to me, I smile back, putting it back on my belt. We keep walking, getting closer to Ponyville with each step. i can practically smell the sweet's from that Sugarcube Corner.. Mm..
We approach the town, Todd looking confused and curious the whole time. “This is so damn weird.. Humans, me, were the only sentient species on my world, so this is a bit.. Weird.” He says, wiping his forehead and gazing at the town ahead of us, multi coloured ponies trotting around, speaking to each other.
“Eh, you'll get used to it, hopefully.” I chuckle. As we get close, ponies start to talk around us.
“What is that walking with Amelia?”
“It's so tall..”
“Looks like that other one that was walking with Fluttershy!”
That catches his attention, he approaches the pony, it looks up at him, afraid. “I won't hurt you.. What other one? Did they have black Hair, her height?” He frantically asks the pony in front of him, pointing at me for the last part. The pony just nods, staring at Todd. Todd smiles, thanking the pony and walking back over to me.
“Did you hear that? She's here!” He has a big smile on his face. “We need to find her..” I nod, agreeing with him as we set off deeper into town to search for his sister, Alyx.
