When including music in a story, you try to find music to match the situation.......Do you guys know exactly how hard it was....to find comedic music without it sounding like a complete clown show, like really understand? It's impossible.
Beauty among no other

"Cute name Kiki."
"Oh stop it you. So what brings you to the bush stranger."
"Um...the grunting noises."
"Oh...right. Sorry about that, I was just having alot of trouble with one tree on the far side of the lake. It just doesn't come out right."
"Well why draw it then?"
"Because it's apart of nature, it must perfect."
"I never really got art that much. It just doesn't make sense to me I guess."
"You guess?"
"Yea I mean I just never really understood it."
"Spike was it? Look out to the lake and tell me what you see."
"Um ok. I see water and some trees."
"Now that's what anyone sees. What I see is a vibrant masterpiece made by none other than mother nature herself. I see a vast array of blue and green complimented by a variety of colorful flowers, nature untouched. This is how Noella intended the world to look, something that must preserved some way whether it be through physical preservation or just doing a basic drawing."
"Wow, I never really thought of it that way."
"Not just nature either. People, places, and animals all alike have a certain beauty to them that deserves to be captured, like that bird on your shoulder."
"You seem like a very optimistic girl Kiki, thankfully just like everyone else who lives here."
"Were you here?..During the times of poverty?"
"Yea...I was just a kid however, didn't really see it as much of an issue till now."
"I apologize."
"For what?"
"For letting you suffer for so long."
"What do you mean by that exactly?"
Kiki quickly realized her words and put a hand over her mouth. "Um....nothing...just sympathizing is all. Anyway...any family here."
"Not in particular. As far as I can remember, I was orphaned as a baby before Twilight found me."
"Twilight? Twilight Sparkle?"
"Yep, that's her."
"She is quite the famous face in this city. To be raised by her must have been an honor."
"You would think that unless you're the one being raised by her. She was honestly a kid herself, if not, a young adult. Her methods were by the book, she followed a specific set of rules for parenting and if it didn't turn out the way she read, she would freak out. I think she finally figured it out sooner or later."
"What a different side to Twilight. I always thought she knew what she was doing."
"She gets that alot. Any family for you?"
"Um....not really...well technically."
"I don't follow."
"I...don't like to talk about it."
"Understandable."
"So I imagine you were out of town this past days."
"Try ten years."
She almost dropped her pen in shock. "T-ten years? Were you on vacation or something?"
"Not exactly. Twilight's clinic was about to go under, the people getting sick couldn't afford her care. She began to heal for free and that's how she almost found herself without a way to maintain the clinic or take care of me. Her only solution was to send me off to where I would be able to survive, the west Everfree Gardens."
"That's terrible, having to leave you home just to survive."
"Oh no no, it was actually pretty great. When I woke up, I met these nice cats in the forest and they took me in. We honestly got in trouble more than we should've which made it too fun."
"I see, blind to everything that was here I assume."
"Basically."
"You were quite the lucky one Spike. I do wish I was you."
"Why's that?"
"W-what?"
"Why do you wish you were me?"
"Y-you heard that?"
"Dragons are a little strong on the senses you know."
"Oh..um...J-just forget you heard that."
Slowly her pen rested on her lap inanimate despite her constant love of art. Her eyes drifted to the ground and her bright and happy attitude seemed to be fading. "Are you ok? You look a little down."
"No..no, I'm fine. I was...just thinking."
"I mean if you need some space, I'm fine to go."
"W-wait! You don't have to go...I mean I was just thinking, it's not like i'm sad or something."
"Oh thank the angel. I do have to go though, I was kinda on my way up to the school."
"Oh r-really?"
"Yea, sorry for intruding on you."
"Wait....c-could I draw you."
"Draw me?"
"Just a quick sketch...please."
"Oh sure. Do you want me to like pose or something."
"Haha no, this isn't some kind of modeling event. Just sit there and smile."
"Um ok."
"Alright. Here we go."
She then did something Spike never expected. She took hold of the pen and and twisted one half. The two indented rings at opposite ends of the pen lit up with cyan light as a small wheel appeared above it, each portion of the wheel ranging in different colors both dark and light. "How in Noella?"
"Oh you must be surprised by this little old thing."
"That's just a pen right?"
"Well yes but no...it's hard to explain. See this pen has been with me since I was born. As a child I was not so great at drawing. Despite that, I couldn't get rid of this pen no matter what. It's special...almost...otherworldly. I learned to draw with it once I got old enough to really understand the artistic value of everyday life. I can't even explain it myself, it can create lines and color without any natural solutions."
"You never asked your parents?"
"Even they did not know. They just woke up and there I was holding it."
"It must have chosen you for something special. A bigger purpose that only you can fulfill. I wonder if you're gonna be some big hero or something, that would be awesome." Spike said as he closed his eyes and smiled at her.
Kiki's cheeks went rose red as she stared at the young dragon. Through her eyes, there was light radiating from this dragon, caught in it's rays was the feeling of absolute happiness. It was at that moment that she giggled a little before turning her attention back to her pen. Within only a few minutes, Kiki finished her drawing with excellent detail, of the flowers that varied in vibrant colors of pink, yellow, and blue, of the green shrubbery in which they complimented so well, and of the rays of sunshine that lit the scene so well, the final piece to set the puzzle complete being the purple dragon sitting among such a stunning scene as baby phoenix nuzzled alongside his cheek. "You like it?"
"Wow...it's amazing....."
"Mostly the pen."
"Sure the pen provides the magical ink and color, but I think the artist is behind the masterpiece. I don't know art but I think you did an amazing job."
"R-really...thank you."
"I have to get going but I hope to see you again Kiki."
Kiki lay distracted by the drawing as Spike gave her one last smile and proceeded out of the bushes.
As Spike's grassy steps trailed into the distance, Kiki couldn't help but stare at the drawing, a smile upon her face. He's so nice...maybe I can ask him to hang out or something. "Hey Spi...." Kiki looked completely dumbfounded as she frantically searched for him. "Oh man he got away, I am such an idiot.......at least I got the drawing." she said as she slid back down to the ground.
She seems truly happy about a simple painting. Wonder what she could be hiding?
Spike finally appeared out of this shrubs and proceeded back to the stairs. Quickly he dashed upward towards the entrance, in quite the rush, for when he arrived, the sight was outstanding. A large courtyard comprised of green grass with small streams looping through it, a large cherry blossom tree sat above the building that lay in it's peaceful beauty. Kids from left to right played in endless happiness as it was their break. Spike made his way through the onslaught of little feet and quickly went inside the nice little schoolhouse. "Hello? I'm looking for someone that might know me?" he said as the room seemed to be completely empty. "Is there a teacher or auughgh!"
"Spikey!" A high pitched voice said as it tackled him to the ground sending Philomena into a squawking frenzy.
In his moment of confusion, he caught a glimpse of the figure and assumed it to be his hyperactive childhood friend, he needed only to confirm. He turned to the pony planting her face into his chest and smiled. "What a way to greet someone Pinkie."
Pinkie slowly lifted her teary eyes to look at Spike, her hair deflated and straight with sadness. "You were gone so long and I didn't know what to do I was afraid you were going to never come back and I'd have to throw parties without you and everyone would be sad that you were gone and i'd be painted as the worst party thrower in the universe and all my kids would wonder why i'm sad and then the principal would fire me and I would be homeless..."
Spike quickly put a claw over her quivering lips. "Little quick on the trigger Pinkie. I'm back now and that's all that matters."
Suddenly her hair puffed back up and she was as happy as can be. "Oh Spikey I missed you so much!" she said as she crawled up his body to hug him correctly.
"I missed you too Pinkie, just wasn't the same without a party every single day."
Pinkie finally let Spike up allowing him to brush himself off. "Look at you, you've gotten so big Spikey Wikey."
"First off don't call me that and second, look at you, and you say I've changed. Although you don't follow the traditional dress I've seen the other ponies wearing."

"Hahahaha, silly willy, I hate dresses, everyone in the east does."
"Good point. So what's been going?"
"Nothing much just a party here, a party there. Oh did you know I'm the teacher here?"
Spike giggled then sighed. "I took a wild guess. What made you become a teacher though, I thought you were in the entertainment business?"
"I was...until that idea took a little sticky turn hehe...had to lay low from partying for a while so I took a job here as teacher, that way I could be close to my friends. What about you, where's my Spikey been these 5 years?"
"You can stop calling me that now."
"Oh does little Spikey Wikey not like that nickname. I think it's cute and deserving, especially since that day back in the Everfree Gardens."
"This is really not the time Pinkie." he said with blush coming across his face.
"Why so nervous Spikey? I'm sure you remember the day as much as I do. I wonder if you've gotten any bigger."
"Pinkie please, this is a school and there are children."
Suddenly her deflated and her eyes began to water. "Maybe that day didn't mean anything to you. Maybe I was just spinning my wheels and I used you."
"Nothing like that Pinkie I swear. It's just, we were kids and I was confused about alot stuff."
"I didn't mean to take advantage of you, I was just...."
"Pinkie, it's ok, you didn't take advantage of me. We were just trying to figure stuff out. You're still one of my best friends I promise."
Instantly her hair shot up as she sniffled. "Okie dokie."
Spike let out a sigh as he shook his head from dodging that bullet.
Oh my. It seems Spike and Pinkie had a little history 5 years after he left Ponyville, I wonder what could've happened. Hehehe, as if we didn't already know. Also, I'm sure you already noticed but in this universe, unlike her happy go lucky pony counterpart, Pinkie is very....prone to suggestion. Even the simplest thing can set her off in variety of emotions. Don't think I need to explain what happened after someone broke a Pinkie promise, boy let me tell you.....Oh am I interrupting?
"So why'd you come back anyway."
"Oh I felt it was time to just come home. I'd had enough experience on my own. I made some nice friends over there including this little cutie." Philomena quickly cooed at the slight petting spike did under her beak. "Other than that, I was just ready to see everyone again. Why'd you choose to become a teacher of all things?"
"I like kids. This smile makes those kids the best thing to see in the world."
"What about the ones who are bad?"
"Oh no big deal, they just get the treatment."
"The....treatment?"
"Yep." she said pointing to the kid hidden in the back corner of the room.
He was frantically rocking back and forth mumbling things like, "So much sugar..."
"What did you do to him?"
"The less they know, the better."
Spike took a step back as the bell rung for the kids to come back in. "Oh you have a class, I'll come back later."
"Wait just a minute my little lesson."
"What does that mean?"
"My kids are surprisingly learning about dragons today and I bet they would love it if they had a live one."
"A live one? What does that mean...exactly?"
"Oh nothing, just a little creepy humor. I think they would benefit greatly from hearing it from an actual dragon is what i'm trying to say."
"Oh...hehe."
"They won't kill you Spikey, they're just kids."
"Kids...sure."
Pinkie stood beside the board as kid after kid began to pile in, each and every one of them shocked to see their unexpected guest sitting in the chair next to the board. One child, a bunny from the looks of it came up and tugged on his pant leg. "Excuse me mister."
Spike looked down at the small bunny and decided, might as well pick her up. And so he did setting her upon his lap. "Well aren't you cute."
"I'm 15 thank you."
"Really, you don't look it."
"I'm a bunny, we never do."
"Oh...sorry."
"Quite understandable. Are you perhaps a real dragon?"
"Um...yes."
"I've never gazed upon one before, you're so.....exotic. You must be at least over a thousand years old."
"Actually in dragon standards, I'm about the same age as you."
"Really. You don't look it."
"I'm a dragon, we never do."
The bunny jumped off his lap with a slight smile and returned to her seat along with the rest of the students letting Pinkie begin. "Welcome back my super duper students. Before break we learned about the dragon's origin and struggles through time. Now we will learn about the details of a dragon thanks to my good childhood friend here, Spike."
"Hey kids."
"Now hold any specific questions until after the lesson, got it? Now to understand a dragon we must know the anatomy of the dragon."

As Pinkie turned around and began to draw a dragon diagram on the board, Spike noticed a few students whispering to each other as she went on and on. Suddenly one student raised his hand, a fox with a sly across his muzzle. "Excuse me Ms. Pie but how do you and Mr. Spike know each other?"
Pinkie shrugged an turned around. "The question was bound to be asked. Me and Mr. Spike are childhood friends from way before the new princess."
Before she could continue the lesson, another fox raised her hand. "Did you guys ever see anything cool together?"
"We were at the Everfree Gardens for quite some time, now if everyone would please hold..."
Before she knew another panda raised his hand. "I heard the Everfree Gardens are a romantic place. Did you guys ever date?"
"This is quite a personal topic of discussion children."
Spike laughed a little before opening his mouth. "Yes we did for a short time but this is really not the time for this kind of conversation."
Almost immediately, every kid in the classroom raised their hand and began firing out questions. "Did you guys ever kiss?"
Pinkie quickly turned her attention back to the board and continued drawing the diagram as a blush painted her cheeks leaving Spike to defuse the situation. "Guys, this really isn't something you should be asking."
"What was your first date like?" another student asked. "I bet it was so romantic."
"That is really personal."
"I bet you were such a cute couple." another student rang out.
"A lot of people said that but these questions can wait children."
You know how there's that one kid who always goes above and beyond. Well....I'll let you see for yourself.
Finally one kid all the way in the back, a monkey from the looks of it, raised his hand and asked the impossible. "Hey here's a question. Did you guys ever do it?"
Spike immediately jumped up and began trying to bring the craziness down. "That is way past the line guys, I don't think you wanna know that."
But it was too late. Soon, everyone in the classroom began instigating the situation while the monkey had his eyes closed and was laughing up a storm. "Come on tell us."
"We promise we won't tell anyone."
"You guys must have done it at least once."
While Spike stood on the front lines of the issue, Pinkie was now motionless. Everyone continued to ask away until pinkie turned slightly to look at the laughing monkey. Everyone except for the culprit jumped in fear as a large shockwave came from the board, a large cracked indent in it with the chalk in the center. Pinkie's hair had deflated but strands began to float as a magenta aura began to erupt from her person. Her eyes now remain closed as smile came to her face and she suddenly ceased to be there. With a small pop, she was immediately behind the laughing monkey who had no idea what was going on. Everyone remained still and silent but that one student continued to laugh. Finally he opened his eyes and looked around. "What's going everyone, why'd you stop? Come on that was funny."
Everyone started pointing behind him in fear but he didn't seem to get the memo until Pinkie cleared her throat. The kid slowly turned around to Pinkie leaning in close, her straight hair and devilish aura making him cower in fear. "I think you want to refrain from asking that question Mr. Wukong."
"O-oh Ms. Pinkie. It was joke...can't a guy just make a joke?"
"You don't seem to understand my dear student. That was quite personal, and it's widely forbidden to dig into a teacher's personal life."
"I-I'm sorry Ms. Pinkie...it'll never happen again."
"Oh yes...I'm going to make sure of that."
Suddenly, Pinkie held out her hand, a cupcake flashing into it without physics to understand. "No no, not the treatment Ms. Pinkie."
"I wish it didn't come to this Mr. Wukong."
"Please I'll do anything."
"Tsk tsk. You said that last time too and here we are. In my classroom, bad student's get punished....and boy have you been naughty."
"Please...I don't want to."
"Shhhhh Mr. Wukong, you brought this upon yourself. Students.....please put on your earplugs and blindfolds."
Suddenly that same bunny came up to Spike and handed him a spare blind fold and some earplugs. "What are these for?" he said as everyone began to put them on.
"Just do it, trust me."
Spike followed everyone's lead letting the last thing he heard to be the sound of the kid struggling. At least five minutes passed before the bunny came up and tapped Spike once. He removed the the plugs and blind fold only to see everyone shaking in their desk, Pinkie back at the board drawing, and the kid in question cowering in the corner mumbling, "Too...much...sugar...."
Dear lord what is wrong with that girl...you were blindfolded unfortunately so you were spared the horrors but....oh my god...so happy...yet so insane....I'm the narrator and I'm scared....how does that happen?

He wasn't sure what happened but he really didn't want to know. The day continued as normal until the bell rang for kids to leave. In unison, all of them shot out of the building and down the steps like little rockets before Spike could even blink. "My my, wasn't that an eventful day."
"Pinkie....what did you do to that kid?"
"The less you know....the better." she said with a devilish grin. "Any who, I guess you're heading back Twilight's right?"
"Uh...yea."
"Then let's super duper go!"
Before Spike say a word, Pinkie told hold of hand and rushed him out of the building. Within seconds they were back in front of Twilight's clinic. "How.....How did you do that?"
"Pinkie logic."
"Yep that would explain it."
Spike and Pinkie entered the Clinic to see Fluttershy and Twilight still talking it out in the side room. "Helloooooo."
Twilight looked from her conversation as did Fluttershy. "Oh I see you guys finally caught up. I've just been going over plans for the Clinic with Fluttershy. How was your time together?"
Pinkie instantly shot over to the table with that over joyed smile. "Today was great, I got to teach my kids about dragons. There was a kid who acted up however but I took care of it."
Spike hearing those words shivered from the mere thought of what happened. Fluttershy took notice and walked over to him. "Are you ok Spike, you look like just saw a ghost?"
"I-it's nothing....so much sugar..."
"Oh no, you didn't see her do the treatment did you?"
He nodded. Fluttershy gasped and quickly brought him into her embrace. "It's ok Spike, shh. Let that memory fade into the darkness." she said as she placed a hand upon the back of his head and began massaging it.
Spike felt the uneasiness go away as Fluttershy massaged his worries away. A slight knock at the door got everyone's attention before the door opened letting a familiar voice to Spike trail in. "Excuse Ms. Twilight, are you home? I realize this is sudden but I saw this dragon at the school today and I wanted to ask about him."
"We're in the side room dear."
The figure came into sight and everyone instantly dropped what they were doing, even Fluttershy who let Spike fall to the ground, to do a traditional bow. Spike wondered who caused such a commotion, and flipped over onto his back. "Kiki?"
"S-Spike?!"
Spike felt a slight smack to the back of his head from Twilight. "What are you doing? Bow."
"W-wait what's going on?"
"Did you do any research before you came here. That's the princess, show some respect."
"Princess...what are talking about, I met her near the school. We talked and I even let her draw me? She's a student right?.....right?.....guys?"
