//-------------------------------------------------------// Doctor Whooves: Savior of the Universe - Series 2 -by Ponyfan10- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Episode 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Episode 1 Doctor Whooves: Savior of the Universe Series 2 Episode 1: Terror of the Metrans “Mister shop owner, are you still there? I have an important letter for you!” A blond, gray, pegasus mare said, waving a letter in front of the glass door to a large clothing shop in Manehattan, it took her a few minutes to realize the sign hanging from the inside of the door saying ‘CLOSED’ in big bold letters, “Oh, it’s closed… I really need a watch,” The mare said to herself. As she was walking away, she saw a door in the alley beside the shop was open, and it was conveniently the emergency exit of the building, ‘What’s the problem with using an exit as an entrance?’ The mare thought, and stepped in through the swinging door. Inside of the exit tunnel were various pipes and doors, presumably, all of them were entrances into the tunnel, but to the gray mare, they were entrances into the shop. “I’ll just leave the letter in the owner’s office and get out, simple,” The gray pegasus talked to herself, she walked through the doors and into the dark shop, occasionally hiding so nobody outside would think she’s a thief. She safely made it to the shop owner’s office at the top floor and left the ‘important letter’ on the desk, since he’d be there tomorrow to check it, the mare then walked away, not noticing the sparking and twitching computer on the desk. As the gray pegasus mare left back through the emergency exit tunnel, she heard an odd rattling behind the doors, she opened them and saw the cash registers twitch uncontrollably, eventually sprouting long, spider-like legs made of wires and homing in on her, the mare tried to fly away, but remembered she was still in-doors, and thought she could do nothing to escape, the murderous cash registers backed her up against a corner and it seemed like it was over for her. Until a dim green hoof appeared and grabbed the mare’s hoof, dragging her to safety. “Who are you, mister?” The mare asked. “No time to explain, I need to get you somewhere where those Metrans won’t find you or anyone else, for that matter,” The stallion that grabbed her said, they ran up to the roof and the stallion used a type of silver magic wand on the door, it had various rings and indents along with four studs around a red, glowing gemstone, “Now that we’re safe, I will let you begin the questions,” The stallion said. “What was that? Who are you? Why’d you help me? How’d you know where I was?!” The mare was still panicking. “In order, ‘Those were Metrans, creatures that use electronics as physical bodies’, ‘I’m The Doctor, just that’, ‘Because I didn’t want to let an innocent pony die’ and ‘My ship got me here and I just happened to stumble into you’, all good?” The Doctor answered, “What about you? Who are you?” The mare was still catching her breath, she managed to talk a second afterwards, “I’m Ditzy Hooves, I’m a mail mare from Cloudsdale,” She introduced herself. “Do you know how to fly properly, miss Ditzy?” The Doctor asked. “Yeah, why?” Ditzy asked back. “Because you’ll need to do it to save yourself,” The Doctor replied, holding up a circular device with a red knob in the middle, Ditzy immediately flew away and The Doctor planted the device on the floor before jumping down from the building. Once Ditzy was safe on a cloud, she saw the building explode and set fire to the street and the nearby fireworks shop, causing a series of various colorful explosions around that block of Manehattan. The next day, Ditzy was down at Manehattan again, delivering her letters as usual, when she came across a blue police box at a street corner, she thought it was odd, but left it alone. After delivering her letters, she was going back to Cloudsdale, she flew over the street corner from earlier and the police box was nowhere to be found, the clothing shop was also still blown to pieces, the owner was complaining to a cop near the charred remains of the building. As Ditzy was not looking, she flew right into a building and fell down to the street below. “Ouch!” She yelled as she hit the ground, she looked around and saw the blue box just ahead. She walked up to it and almost got to open the doors before The Doctor popped out of the box, scaring Ditzy. “Oh, it’s just you, Ditzy,” The Doctor said, “So, about yesterday…” “It’s okay, I guess, it wasn’t my shop,” Ditzy replied. “Not sure how that makes it any better,” The Doctor said, “Anyways, those things that attacked you are still around this city, their species in general at least,” He added, this made Ditzy worried. “So, are you…” “No, I would never bomb a city filled with innocent people,” The Doctor clarified. “Okay, so, could you point the way to a bunch of clouds up there?” Ditzy asked, The Doctor looked up at the sky and saw a large cloud with rainbows pouring out of it, he assumed that was the right place and pointed at it. “Over there,” He said. “Thanks,” Ditzy said, flying away to the big cloud, she stopped to look back and saw The Doctor going back into the box, she continued on her way and did not hear or see the police box disappear into the air. At Cloudsdale, the city in the sky, Ditzy arrived at her house and put her bag on a hanger, she had a quick shower and went to sleep, as she was trying to fall asleep, her phone rang, but she refused to check it, the ringing got so obnoxious that she gave in. “What is it?!” Ditzy shouted into the phone, she got a response in the form of a bizarre garbled voice that sounded like some sort of alien language, the wires from the phone then jumped out and she dropped it as she ran away, “Not this stuff again!” Ditzy said, the phone used its wires to crawl along the ground and reach her. The phone grabbed Ditzy’s leg and pulled her back into her own house, but a blue police box materialized in front of her and a gray mare grabbed Ditzy’s hoof, pulling her into the box and freeing the gray pegasus from the possessed phone. “Are you okay?” The gray mare asked, “My name is Chrome Green, by the way,” She mentioned. “Yeah, what is this place? Why’d you save me?” Ditzy was confused as she noticed the large, dome-like room inside of the police box with a hexagonal control panel at the center, with a glowing pillar connecting the console to the ceiling. “This is the TARDIS, recall what I said when I saved you for the first time,” The Doctor said, Ditzy remained quiet as The Doctor pushed some buttons on the console, which closed the doors on the phone’s wires and started what Ditzy presumed was the engine, “By the way, Chrome, have you seen my other sonic anywhere?” The Doctor asked. “The spiders in the vents must still have it,” Chrome replied. “Okay, we’ll take care of those things later, the current priority is finding out how to get rid of the Metrans,” The Doctor said. Ditzy coughed to get the attention of these odd ponies, she then talked to them, “I’m still really confused,” She stated. “I’m an alien, she’s immortal, and we all live in this orange spaceship, is that any simpler to understand?” The Doctor ‘explained’, Ditzy nodded, “Now that that’s all settled, let’s go back to the big city, the Metran hive must be somewhere over there,” The Doctor said. Arriving at Manehattan again, the trio walked outside and saw that it was still night. “What are we looking for?” Ditzy asked. “A huge source of energy that would be distributed all around the city, like, a big generator somewhere around here,” The Doctor said, “Where would that be?” He said, they were all around a line of electrical poles. “Maybe we could follow the electric tower things,” Ditzy said. “Yeah, the poles must lead back to the generator for the city, wherever it is,” Chrome agreed, the group followed the poles to the bay, where a large facility was set up right on the coast. “This must be the electrical power plant, so the Metran hive must be inside,” The Doctor said. They trotted into the power plant and went to the generator room, where colorful sparks were flying around the room. “So, what do we do?” Ditzy questioned. “We have to disperse the energy through a conductor, the Metrans will then be dissolved as they don’t have anything to travel along,” The Doctor said, Ditzy stared at him in confusion, “Ugh, we have to put these things in water so the Metrans will drown,” He simplified. “But that’ll cause a blackout in the entire city, you goof,” Chrome said. “Oh yeah, then what will we do?” The Doctor asked. “Turn these things off and get the Metrans when they escape from the generators, then we turn them back on,” Chrome responded. “I’m a huge idiot sometimes,” The Doctor remarked, they went to the controls and turned the generators off, but the sparks did not stop, if anything, they only got bigger and faster, “Any new plans?” The Doctor sarcastically asked. “I’d say you sonic it,” Chrome suggested, Ditzy did not contribute to the conversation, as she had no idea what they were dealing with. The Doctor pointed his red sonic screwdriver at the generators, but it did not work. “I’m really scared right now,” Ditzy said. “Well, you’re in luck, because now is the part where we run for our lives!” The Doctor replied. The trio then dashed out of the building and looked back when they felt they were safe, the colorful sparks were traveling up the electric wires and across the poles all around the city. “Oh no,” Chrome said, they ran further into the city and many billboards and other things were turning on, they then sprouted spider-like legs out of wires, like the cash registers the previous night or the telephone when Chrome saved Ditzy, and the large electronics began to walk around Manehattan. “Do you have any ideas, Doctor?” Ditzy asked. “Now we have no choice but to drown all of these Metrans, even if we have to destroy every electronic in the city,” The Doctor said. “How would we do that?” Chrome asked. “Question of the year so far,” The Doctor replied, “If all else fails, I’ll create an electrical signal somewhere in the water and they’ll fall right in,” He said. “What makes you so sure that it will work?” Ditzy asked. “Well, for one, stop asking all these questions, rapid fire, it’s pretty distracting when I have to answer a silly question and mess with my screwdriver’s settings at once,” The Doctor sarcastically said, “And for two, that’s just a fail safe plan, if everything fails, sadly, killing them in the bay is the way,” He explained, “Does anyone have any better ideas?” “I say we try to turn all of the electronics off at their individual sources, the good old on and off switches,” Chrome suggested. “I agree with her I guess,” Ditzy said. “Then we can try that, come along,” The Doctor said, quickly skipping towards the city, the two mares followed him. Arriving at the center of the city, no Metrans were walking around the streets, and the trio was left dazed and confused, “Well, what now?” The Doctor asked. “I think now’s those people,” Chrome mentioned, pointing at a large group of ponies slowly walking towards them. “Oh good, survivors,” The Doctor thanked, but stopped his line of thought a moment afterwards, “Wait, they are not even blinking,” He remarked, at a closer glance the ponies had empty white eyes and black wires hanging out of their mouths. “What is it?” Ditzy asked, unable to see them properly. “The Metrans got sick of only taking electronics and machines, so they started taking the better spot,” The Doctor began, “They’re possessing living beings now,” He said. The zombies got closer and began to pick up their pace, starting to walk properly, then sprint and then they ran after The Doctor and his group. “What do we do now, Doc?” Chrome asked as they ran all the way back to the bay. “We get back to the power plant in search of a few answers,” The Doctor replied, the trio then arrived back at the pier where the plant was situated. They entered the building and rushed to the generator room, the sparks were still flying and lighting up the room in various colors. “What do we do no-” Ditzy was interrupted by The Doctor speaking to the generators. “Metran consciousness, I come in peace,” The Doctor said, Ditzy was very confused, but Chrome seemed to not mind what was happening. “What is it, mortal?” The ‘Metran consciousness’ replied. “First, stop your troops, they must be nearby, I just have to talk to you,” The Doctor ordered. “Your wish is my command,” The consciousness responded, the Metran zombies outside of the building were stopping on the spot, “But you are unable to leave this room until we are done, and if you try to, I may simply send my drones after you once more,” It added. “What are you doing on this simple planet? You’re a hive mind that uses technology to spread, a place like Equestria is probably the worst for something like you,” The Doctor began, “That is what I would say, if you hadn’t displayed that you can control living beings as well,” He said. “Why, precisely, would my motivation matter to you?” The consciousness asked. “I just need to know why you do any of this, to see if I could ever help you, I’m not called ‘The Doctor’ for no reason,” He replied. “So, Doctor, you want to help me escape this infernal planet,” The consciousness said, The Doctor was confused for a second, but was also glad that they were getting somewhere. “Infernal? Does that mean that you’re not here by choice?” The Doctor asked. “Indeed, my ship crashed in the ocean, not far from here, we had no choices beyond ‘death’ and ‘getting to the nearest electrical source’,” The consciousness began, “So I made it to the generators of this city, and now I reside in here,” it explained. “Good, we’re moving somewhere, but what about the pony possessing… Nonsense,” The Doctor said. “I had a body once, thousands of them in fact,” The consciousness started, “But a meteor fell on my planet, it devastated the land, I had to transfer every piece of me into a super computer, converted into a small ship,” It explained, “And it just so happened that Earth’s magnetic field pulled us into the ‘surface’, if that’s what one would call our crash site,” The consciousness finished. “So you tried taking the bodies of the locals because you missed not having your own organic body, or, bodies, I suppose,” The Doctor recapped. “Indeed,” The consciousness confirmed. “So, how do you think I could truly help you?” The Doctor asked. “You cannot, our ship is lost forever,” The consciousness replied. “Don’t be dramatic, there must be some way I can help you, I could get you a new ship, how ‘bout?” The Doctor suggested. “How would you do that?” The consciousness asked. “…” The Doctor was stuck in a personal loop for a moment, “I could turn these generators into one?” He said. “And sacrifice these people’s needs for those of an alien hive mind?” The consciousness said. “Doc, just admit defeat, you cannot help him, her, whatever this thing is,” Chrome said. “No, I refuse to admit that I can’t help someone, there must be something I could do to save the Metrans,” The Doctor said, both to Chrome and himself. “Face the facts, you cannot help, I am doomed to stay in this planet forever, and the inhabitants of this city shall be my new bodies,” The consciousness said. “I know…” The Doctor began, “I know what I could do, it’s far from my usual behavior, but it’s worth a try,” The Doctor said with a saddened look on his face. “What is it?” The consciousness asked. “I could put you out of your misery, if you want me to, that is,” The Doctor replied. “So you’re willing to break your promise, you oath, open an exception just for this mess of wires and sparks?” Chrome asked. “If there’s nothing else I can do, putting them down is not that bad of a choice,” The Doctor said, “Think about it, the Metrans are trapped here and possibly suffering, I’ll be helping every side,” He tried to convince himself. “You do not have the courage to kill an intelligent being,” The consciousness said. The room was filled with silence for a few seconds, “You’re right,” The Doctor admitted, “You’re completely right, I can’t help you, at all,” The Doctor said. “So we arrive at a common location in this ‘chat’,” The consciousness said. “I can’t help you by sitting here and doing nothing, that is,” The Doctor replied. “What?” The consciousness was confused. “I just need to find my ship, get your zombies, bodies, whatever, away from the entrance of this place, I’ll be right back,” The Doctor said, rushing back to the TARDIS, which was at the center of the city. Arriving safely at his ship, The Doctor turned the engines on and flew from the spot and into the ocean. “This old thing needs to be here somewhere,” The Doctor said to himself, he searched for at least an hour before finding the wreckage of a ship at the ocean floor, “Now, to bring you back to your crew, baby,” The Doctor pushed a button that created a type of energy chain between the TARDIS and the Metrans’ ship. He dragged the ship across the sand at the bottom, dodging the occasional rock. “Where has your friend gone?” The consciousness asked The Doctor’s two companions through one of its zombies. “He’s gone to save you,” Chrome replied. Not soon after, a blue police box crashed through the surface of the water at the bay, towing a large ship, Chrome, Ditzy and the Metrans watched in awe as The Doctor placed the ship with its engines to the ground, the TARDIS then safely landed near the power plant. “You have yourself a ticket out of Earth, all aboard!” The Doctor said to the Metran consciousness. “Does the ship still function?” The consciousness asked. “Part of the fuel tanks may be filled with salt water, but there’s plenty to leave the atmosphere and escape Earth, forever,” The Doctor explained. “I cannot thank you enough, Doctor, I deeply apologize that I doubted you,” The consciousness said, it used one of its bodies to hug The Doctor in gratitude, the colorful sparks then flew out of the generators and from the possessed ponies and got into the ship, “Fare thee well, Doctor, I hope to see you once more some day,” The consciousness said as its ship took off and disappeared into the night sky. “See you soon too,” The Doctor responded, “Well, now to get the wires out of these people’s mouths before they wake up,” He added, looking back at his companions and all of the fainted ponies at the pier. After doing their job, the team returned to the TARDIS to set off somewhere else. “So Ditzy…” The Doctor said, he stopped himself to look closer at Ditzy’s eyes, he never noticed that they were crossed, “Were your eyes always like that?” He asked. “I got hit by a few dodge balls when I was a filly,” Ditzy explained. “Oh, sorry for that,” The Doctor said, “Anyways, as I was saying, do you want to travel around with us?” He questioned. “I don’t know, where are we going?” Ditzy asked. “Wherever you want to go, we can go meet your favorite singer or painter or whatever before they died, we can see famous wars and events, we can visit other worlds, all of the time in the world and all of the space in the universe, pick a place and we’ll go there,” The Doctor said. “Well, how about we meet a famous painter? Do you know anypony interesting?” Ditzy asked. “If I know someone interesting? Hoo boy, hold on tight!” The Doctor said as the TARDIS took off to the past. END OF EPISODE 1 Author's Note Episode 1 and it's longer than most people's... Limbs, all combined into one mega-limb. Anyways, this episode was obviously a parallel to the very first episode of new Doctor Who, where The Doctor meets Rose at a store, blows it up and they beat the Autons and the Nestene-whatever if you're wondering, yes, I do mildly dislike myself for going for the obvious Derpy companion, but it could be worse: I could've went with the even more obvious, Roseluck. Next Time: The Doctor, Ditzy and Chrome arrive at Baltimare, in the 18th century, where they meet with a famous painter who is being hunted by aliens. (Don't expect it to be like Vincent and The Doctor, I'm not good enough for that) //-------------------------------------------------------// Episode 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Episode 2 Doctor Whooves: Savior of the Universe Series 2 Episode 2: The Gates of Hell It was a dark and stormy night in Baltimare, a blue box appeared near a building and a thinned-green stallion peeked out of it,“Welcome to Baltimare, 18th century, home to one of the best painters in Equestrian history,” The Doctor said as he and his crew stepped out of the TARDIS. “Is it always this dark in this time period?” Ditzy asked. “No, it’s just night,” Chrome said, chuckling at Ditzy’s silly behavior. “Oh…” “Anyways, the house of our pony of interest should be somewhere around here,” The Doctor said. “I think it’ll rain in a moment, let’s find it,” Chrome remarked, pointing at the clouded dark sky. They walked over to a small house at a dead end, The Doctor knocked on the door and a blue colt in a black raincoat opened the door. “Doctor, what are you doing here? Who are those two?” The colt asked. “Girls, say hello to Pond, as he likes to go by,” The Doctor introduced him to his companions, the two mares gasped in surprise. “Oh great, you brought fans,” Pond said, quite unenthusiastic about seeing them. “Don’t worry, we don’t have any paintings for you to sign or something of the sort, I just wanted to show one of them that my ship could time travel,” The Doctor explained. “You know this guy?!” Chrome asked, still very happy that she got to meet her favorite artist. “I traveled with this old chap, the adventures we went on inspired my surrealist and science-fiction style of painting,” Pond answered, “So, do you have to go soon or could you stay for some tea, maybe get your own painting, all that?” He questioned. “Why not, spending some time with an old companion could be good,” The Doctor said, the trio then stepped into the house as it began to rain. *** “Do you detect The Doctor?” A dark yellow mare asked to a mint-green stallion, presumably her husband, as they were walking. “Not yet, but I see the next best thing just ahead,” The stallion said, pointing at a blue police box in front of the couple. *** At Pond’s house, The Doctor and his group were enjoying cups of tea while Pond was finishing a new painting. “This tea is really good,” Chrome commented, “What’s the title for that painting?” She changed the subject. “The one that’s making The Doctor uncomfortable?” Pond joked, pointing at a painting behind The Doctor’s head, it showed the silhouette of a cone-shaped creature with a single blue eye and two horns, behind it was a large fire, explaining why it was in shadows, “I call it ‘Beast of Hatred’, do you like it?” Pond asked. “Yeah, the lighting effect you pulled off is amazing, and it really captures what the title suggests,” Chrome replied, trying to sound smart. “You don’t have to be like that, it’s not that great, I’ve made better afterwards,” Pond said. “I like it, but I’d appreciate it if you moved it elsewhere in the house, in case I ever visited again,” The Doctor said, Pond smiled and continued to work on his new painting. A few hours passed, the group ate some things and chatted with each other, after a while, Pond seemed to get upset, and The Doctor noticed it. “There’s something I wanted to talk about, Doctor,” Pond said. “We’re buds, just say it,” The Doctor encouraged him to speak. “My public reputation has been going downhill lately,” Pond began, “Someone came in another day and wanted to buy a painting, I went to get it and they wandered into the basement, they saw something in there and dashed out,” He said. “What could be down there that would make someone so scared?” Ditzy asked. “They have been spreading rumors that I have connections with the supernatural and occult,” Pond said. “So, shall we see what is down there?” The Doctor asked, Pond nodded and they headed to the basement, it did not take long for them to see what was happening. “Wow, what’s that thing?” Chrome asked, the group was staring right at an organic-looking wall, it had a round hatch that seemed to be made of bones. “That’s what everyone’s been calling ‘The Gate to Hell’, and what I’ve been calling ‘My downfall’,” Pond said, they walked up to the circular door and it opened, leading into a cavern that seemed to be made of flesh. “Well,” The Doctor said he walked around the cave, “I have good news and bad news,” He said. “Good news first, please,” Pond said. “This isn’t Hell,” The Doctor replied. “Oh, good!” “It’s something worse…” “Oh bother, what is it?” Pond asked. “It’s a spaceship, must’ve crashed here long before the town was set up, and your house just happened to be built on top of it,” The Doctor pondered. “What type of spaceship would look like this?” Pond continued to question. “Zygon technology tends to look very organic, so I suppose this is their place,” The Doctor suggested. “Okay,” Pond said, “What the heck is a Zygon again?” “Imagine a red tentacle with an ugly face and limbs, boom, Zygon,” the Doctor summarized. The group heard the TARDIS materialize nearby, they look back and see the blue box appear near the entrance to the Zygon ship, “How did it end up here?” The Doctor asked. A couple of ponies walk out of the box, the mare was a dark yellow and the stallion was a mint-green color. “Nothing to see here, this is an alien ship, so would you kindly leave?” Ditzy said. “They brought the TARDIS here, those aren’t civilians,” The Doctor was proven right, the couple turned into a pair of tentacle-like monsters with sunken eyes, they fit The Doctor’s description of the Zygons perfectly (At least when compared to his simple explanation of them) “So it was this simple to find you and your group, Doctor,” One of the Zygons said. “So what if it was?” The Doctor asked, “Do you even have a plan to beat me this time?” He continued. “We had a plan from the very start,” The other Zygon said, Chrome then got her blaster and threatened to shoot the Zygons. “You either stay right there and tell us the plan or eat plasma, pick your poison,” Chrome said, but the Zygons did not react, they continued to stare down at the group. “We are not afraid of you,” The first Zygon said, it lifted up a hand and blue sparks began to form around it, it pointed at Pond and fired electricity at him, but Chrome jumped in front of the attack, saving Pond but knocking herself out, “Odd, this usually disintegrates any targets,” The Zygon was confused for a moment. “She’s immortal, good luck getting rid of her and killing any of us, so long as she can get back up, we are invincible too,” The Doctor explained. “It does not matter, what matters is that we have our ship and a TARDIS, if we can take your vessel back to Zygor, we could create our own,” One of the Zygons said. “That’s your motivation? You just wanted to copy Time Lord technology like a little kid cheating on their homework?” The Doctor asked. “Quiet,” One of the Zygons ordered, “You and your friends shall be cocooned and taken with us to Zygor,” It said. “What if we refuse to go with you?” The Doctor taunted them. “Doctor, it may not be a good idea to be talking like that with these things,” Pond said. “I said, quiet!” The Zygon yelled. “Like hell I’ll shut up while you’re around trying to do whatever lame plan you want to pull off,” The Doctor began, “How about this, I help you get your ship out of here and you leave everyone alone, does that sound good?” He offered. “Do we have any other options?” One of the Zygons asked, walking down the staircase to be closer to The Doctor as his group as he was talking. “I could blow up your ship and leave you two stranded on Earth for however long you live, that’s your other option,” The Doctor replied, staring at the Zygon directly in the eyes. “Doctor, monster guy, stop it!” Ditzy said. “Why, exactly?” The Doctor and the Zygon asked in unison. “Blabbing about like this will end nowhere, come to an agreement already, dang it!” Ditzy griped. “Fine, what do you suggest we do?” The Doctor asked, calming down. “I say we take the first option, The Doctor helps you things get out of Earth and you never bother us again,” Ditzy suggested. “How would he pull that feat off? This ship is stuck at least two meters underground, there are no entrances or exits around, just stones and dirt,” The Zygon said. “The Doctor always finds a way to help anyone, isn’t that right?” Ditzy confidently replied, looking over at The Doctor. “Uh… Yes, I always find some way to help,” The Doctor responded, trying to hide that he actually had no plans. “Good, then get to work, Time Lord,” The Zygon that was still upstairs said, coming down to the ground floor of the ship. As the Zygons headed to their ship’s control panel, The Doctor went up to Ditzy to talk to her, “Ditzy, could you specify when I said that I could always help?” He questioned, Ditzy didn’t reply, “Because now we’re surely dead, those things are counting on me to fix their ship and I have no clue how to do it,” The Doctor said. “I’m so sorry, I thought that doctors always helped people, so I assumed that you always had some way to do it too…” Ditzy replied, looking down her hooves and the soft magenta floor of the Zygon ship. “It’s okay, just don’t assume something like that ever again,” The Doctor said. “So what do we do now?” Pond got in on the conversation. “I think the only way now is to find a way to move this ship from under here to the surface, hopefully without destroying any property,” The Doctor said. “But there’s the problem, the ship is right below my house,” Pond mentioned. “Oh, great…” The Doctor reacted, all he could do was put a hoof against his face and head to the nearest wall. “What now, then?” Pond asked. ‘Indeed, what now?’ The Doctor thought, ‘Anything I do will end up harming someone in some way…’ He continued. “Well, if you won’t solve this your way, I’ll do it my way,” Chrome said, getting back on her hooves and getting her blaster out, she fired a warning shot in the general direction of the Zygons. “You shall cease fire, unless you desire to be destroyed,” One of the Zygons got up from its seat and ordered. “I deeply apologize on her part,” The Doctor said, “I’ll just be thinking back here,” He added. The Doctor went back to his corner and hit his face on the wall, groaning in displeasure. An hour passed and The Doctor had no ideas, the Zygons got impatient and prepared to take off with their ship. “Beginning flight sequence,” One of the Zygons said. “No you won’t,” The Doctor said, using his sonic screwdriver on the control panel and making sparks fly from it. “Why must you maintain us trapped here?” A Zygon said. “I don’t want any property damage around here,” The Doctor explained. “Enough!” One of the Zygons yelled, “The Doctor is not complying, we must destroy them all,” It continued, Chrome got her blaster out to fight and the Zygon shot lightning at it, blowing up the blaster in the mare’s hooves. “We don’t have to fight, I can still be helpful to you,” The Doctor said. “Silence, you and your companions shall be erased,” The other Zygon said, also getting up and preparing to fire its electricity, it aimed at The Doctor and shot, but Chrome got in front of him and took the hit. One of the Zygons got back down to turn on the ship again, it worked and the ground began to shake, The Doctor rushed to the TARDIS to get inside. “Hold off down there, guys!” He yelled. “Why are you leaving?” Ditzy asked, but got no answer, the TARDIS simply disappeared, the Zygon ship broke through the ground above and around it and the ponies outside saw it fly up into the air, crashing right through Pond’s house. “My goodness, what is that?” An elderly mare asked. “Probably another foolish project by the ‘artist’ living in there,” Her husband replied, the couple then walked off as several other ponies watched as the ship hovered above the crater it left in place of the houses there. Chrome held the Zygons back while they waited for The Doctor, it was easy as there were only two foes for her to take care of. “The Doctor is taking his sweet time, isn’t he?” Pond remarked. “I’m sure he has some sort of a plan,” Ditzy said, “I hope…” Chrome got something through her communicator and rushed past the Zygons to the ship’s control panel and placed something on it, she then rallied the other ponies in the ship and ran away to the exit of the ship. “What exactly did you do?” Pond asked. “Oh, nothing, just following The Doctor’s orders,” Chrome joked in response, the group reached the top of the staircase and opened the door, they were at least two thousand meters above the ground, “He told me that we have to jump now,” Chrome added. “I know he’s kind of out there, but this is a bit too much,” Pond said. “What are we waiting for?” Ditzy said, she hopped off and safely fluttered into an invisible platform in the air, the platform opened like a trapdoor and she fell into the TARDIS’ pool room. “Oh, I see, let’s go then!” Chrome said, she pushed Pond down and he fell into the TARDIS, Chrome herself then followed. “Is everyone alright?” The Doctor asked, taking some towels into the pool room. “Yes, what did you tell Chrome to put on the ship’s control panel?” Ditzy asked back. “Something I might regret, I’ll tell you that much,” The Doctor replied. The group looked up at the Zygon ship as it continued to fly upwards, after a moment, the front of it exploded and the rest of the ship went with, the three companions were shocked, but The Doctor just stared at it. “I never thought you were the type to do that,” Chrome said. “I never thought so either, goes to show that I’ll do anything for people I’m attached to,” The Doctor replied, he then headed to the TARDIS’ control room and the group followed him. Arriving at the console room, the wall roundels were obscured by painting, Pond’s paintings. “That’s what you went off to do, eh?” Pond said, relieved that his works were safe. “Yeah, you could say so,” The Doctor replied, “I’m sure you can find a better place to live, maybe one without a ship of killer aliens underneath it,” He chuckled. “Yeah…” Pond said, getting sadder. “You have nowhere else to go, do you?” The Doctor asked. “Exactly, after the whole incident with everyone thinking that the ship was Hell, nobody is gonna lend me a house or anything…” Pond responded. “I guess you could stay in the TARDIS until I figure out what to do, sound good?” The Doctor offered. “Great, thank you,” Pond said, wiping a tear form his face. “Well, if you two are dome moping, I have places to go, so you could drop me off in this time period, I’ll call the Alliance to pick me up,” Chrome said. “As you wish, get right off then,” The Doctor replied and Chrome obliged, she stepped out of the TARDIS, waving at her friends and closing the door on the way out. After she left, there was a moment of silence as The Doctor turned on the TARDIS to set off to another adventure with his friends. “Where are we going now?” Ditzy asked. “I don’t know, I’ll just try to track ‘people in danger’ with the Doctor-Mobile,” The Doctor said, Ditzy and Pond presumed it was a joke, although they did not find humor in it. “Is he scaring you a bit as well?” Pond whispered to Ditzy. “Yeah,” Ditzy responded. “Anyways, let’s just head to our proper present, see what interesting things are happening now, then, whatever,” The Doctor said, he pulled a lever and the TARDIS took off. END OF EPISODE 2 Author's Note I am not proud of this chapter, I had so many blocks while I was writing, I just had no clue what to do with Zygons and such and I just wanted it to be over, I, much like you, also think it is really dialogue heavy, almost every paragraph is a new line of dialogue and I didn't know how to fix it and its just garbage. Pond is the new OC companion, I suppose, don't worry, he doesn't have a complicated character arc that spans a bunch of different series. Next Time: The Doctor and his group find themselves having to help a little girl with sleeping problems (It's not a boring as it sounds, I swear) //-------------------------------------------------------// Episode 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Episode 3 Doctor Whooves: Savior of the Universe Series 2 Episode 3: Realm of Dreams Twas a calm night at Fillydelphia, all of the ponies were going to sleep or heading home to do so, except for one little, cream-colored filly in an apartment building, who could not sleep for some odd reason, she could fall asleep, but would wake up soon after. The filly’s father went to her room to comfort her after she woke up again, crying into her pillow, “Flint, what’s wrong?” He asked. “It’s the Nightmare Man, he won’t stop!” The filly, named ‘Flint’, replied. “It’s alright,” The father said, hugging Flint, “I’ll take you to a doctor in the morning, just think of happy things and try to sleep,” He said. “Okay, daddy…” Flint said, still saddened by her nightmare, she thought of her favorite things, candy, animals, flowers, and went back to sleep. When she woke up again, it wasn’t due to a nightmare, it was a sound outside of the building, it sounded like wind or an engine of some sort. Her father also heard the noise and rushed out to check on it. Outside, Flint’s dad saw a blue police phone booth with a glowing light on top of it, ‘this was not here before’ He thought. Before he could open the doors to the box, a dim-green stallion, a gray and blond mare and a blue stallion with a black jacket walked out of it. “Oh, hi there,” The green stallion greeted, “I’m The Doctor, the blond one is Ditzy and by process of elimination, the other guy is Pond,” He said. “A doctor? Of what?” The father asked. “Of many things, medicine, biology, laundry cleaning, the list can go on and on,” The Doctor replied. “Well, what about psychology and such?” The father asked again. “I don’t keep track, but, maybe,” The Doctor answered. “Oh, thank goodness, come in right now,” The father said, taking the trio into the apartment building, “My name is Steel, by the way,” He introduced himself. The group arrived at Steel’s apartment and got to Flint’s room, where she was just staring at the door, most likely waiting for someone to come in. “Flint, this is The Doctor,” Steel said. “Greeting, small pony, I’m… Well, he kinda just said who I am,” The Doctor chuckled, Flint didn’t respond, instead, she hid under her bed sheets, “There’s nothing to be scared about, I just want to help you out, whatever your problem may be,” He said. “So you’re here to help me beat him?” Flint asked. “Who?” The Doctor was immediately confused. “Her imaginary ‘friend’, the Nightmare Man,” Steel explained. “Well, I’ve heard of imaginary friends, but imaginary enemies is definitely something new, I’ll tell you that much,” The Doctor said. “So, Doctor, what do we do about it?” Ditzy asked. “I have some stuff in the Doctor-Mobile, be right back,” The Doctor rushed back to the TARDIS, still parked outside, he headed inside and checked for things in a treasure chest, he went back to the apartment with a small bag with a bunch of yellow clips inside of it. “What are those?” Pond asked. “Dream Tags, put one of them on Flint’s ear and another on another pony’s and they can go into her mind,” The Doctor explained. “That idea sounds familiar…” Ditzy said. “Anyways, I’ll place Flint’s tag right away,” The Doctor said, “As long as mister Steel is fine with it,” He added. “Just do it already,” Steel responded, The Doctor nodded and walked towards Flint, he placed one of the Dream Tags on her ear and two others on Pond and Ditzy. “So, what now?” Ditzy asked. “You all just have to be asleep at once and your dreams will be connected,” The Doctor said. “Why do you get to stay out of this?” Pond asked. “We need a mission control or whatever,” The Doctor replied, “Anyways, try to fall asleep soon,” He said, he walked out of the room with Steel and left the other three to sleep there. After a while of trying, Pond fell asleep, then Flint followed him, and Ditzy also slept. Inside of Flint’s dream, the trio was in a restaurant that served nothing but candy. “This dream seems pretty nice,” Ditzy remarked. “For now,” Flint said, she knew what would happen soon. The restaurant had a stage with curtains around it, the curtains opened and a creepy pony with a suit and a pale, painted face was behind them. “Nice, a show!” Ditzy said in excitement. “No, that’s the Nightmare Man,” Flint said, “We have to stop him now!” “Okay, but how?” Pond asked. “I don’t know either,” Flint replied. “Hahahah! For my first act, how about a joke?” The Nightmare Man began, “What is gray, yellow and lost a leg?” He asked. “I might know this one!” Ditzy said, raising her hoof, but a small black tendril appeared and sliced it off, leaving a black void where a wound should’ve been, the void grew around her and Ditzy disappeared from the dream. “You got it right, it was you,” The Nightmare Man pointed at where Ditzy was seated. The other two soon woke up as well, to Ditzy screaming in terror then falling back on the floor, crying, The Doctor and Steel went to the room to check on her too. “What happened?!” The Doctor asked. “The Nightmare Man attacked the yellow hair one,” Flint explained. “Ditzy, are you okay?” The Doctor questioned. “Yeah, I thought that clown-looking guy actually killed me,” Ditzy said. “Well, you’re fine,” The Doctor assured her, “It’s nine o’clock, we have plenty of time to try this plan again,” He said. Ditzy took off her Dream Tag and headed to the living room with Steel as The Doctor stayed at the room to watch over Flint and Pond, who managed to fall asleep a while later. In Flint’s dream, she was in a bright, colorful hotel, Pond was presumably at the other side of the building and the Nightmare Man was there as well. “Flint? Where are you?” Pond asked from his end of the hotel. “Over here!” A childish voice shouted, he assumed it was Flint so he calmly trotted through the corridor he heard the voice from. The corridor got darker and darker until Pond’s vision was pitch black, he could not see anything, until he bumped into something, or someone. “Uh oh,” Pond whispered to himself, the figure in front of him turned around and revealed its pale face with clown make-up and no eyes, the darkness dispersed slightly and formed a dome of spikes around Pond, before they could kill him, he woke up with a gasp, but that did not wake Flint up, most likely because it was too quiet. “Nightmare Man again?” The Doctor asked. “Yeah, he’s relentless, he almost got me there,” Pond replied, Ditzy and Steel walked into the room to talk to The Doctor. “So, have you figured out what type of alien this Nightmare Moon is?” The blond pegasus asked. “It’s ‘Nightmare Man’ and, no, I have no clue if its some sort of parasite or ethereal monster,” The Doctor responded. “Well, at the very least, Flint seems like she’ll be okay for the night, she’s sleeping just fine,” Ditzy remarked. “Wait a minute,” The Doctor said, he walked over to Flint and shook her a bit to try and wake her up, but it did not work, she was completely asleep, “Oh no,” The Doctor got very worried. “What’s going on?” Steel asked. “Your daughter seems to have been locked in a sleeping state by something, and with the Nightmare Man in her dreams, it’s not very safe to use the Dream Tag to try and save her,” The Doctor explained. “So, she’s gonna die to some dream monster?” Steel also got worried for Flint’s life. “We’re not even sure if the guy’s attacks can kill someone, but a coma is just as bad as death, if not worse,” The Doctor answered. “So, what can we-” Steel was cut off by Ditzy pushing him to the side. “I volunteer to go and save Flint,” She said. “Are you crazy? What if the Nightmare Man hurts you?” The Doctor asked. “Maybe I am crazy, but I don’t want to just sit back and be useless like always,” Ditzy replied, taking one of the Dream Tags and putting it on her ear before laying down on the floor. “Fine, good luck,” The Doctor said. Ditzy appeared in the dream, the entire hotel was dark and she could not see anything, she ventured through the corridors and avoided the Nightmare Man as much as possible. She eventually saw a light, presumably where Flint was, and a clown-like figure slowly walking towards her. “Stop it!” Ditzy shouted at the Nightmare Man, getting his attention. “What do you want?” The Nightmare Man replied, staring at Ditzy. “I won’t let you kill Flint,” Ditzy confidently said. “That’s her name? Good to know who I’ll be eating up soon, heheh,” The Nightmare Man chuckled, but Ditzy was far from amused, she rushed up to him and tried kicking him, but some type of invisible barrier stopped her. “Heh, okay, you get another chance at stopping me, missy,” The Nightmare Man said, breaking the barrier so Ditzy could try to hit him again, but she missed, “Get it? ‘Missy’, hahahah!” The Nightmare Man laughed. “I wasn’t really aiming to it you, I just wanted to pass,” Ditzy said, making the Nightmare Man notice that the blond mare was closer to Flint at that point. “You will regret tricking me, I am the master of reality in the realm of dreams,” The Nightmare Man said, he stomped on the ground and made the floor and walls start disappearing, revealing a black void around the hotel which contained various other spheres, presumably more dreams, “I can warp this world at my will,” The Nightmare Man said, twisting his head upside down and scaring the two mares in front of him, but Ditzy got over it and took flight across the void, with Flint on her back. “We’re headed to another dream,” Ditzy said to Flint, who nodded and held on to the gray pegasus’ back, they made it to a dream set in a bright and sunny land with many trees, mountains and animals, they rushed behind a few rocks to hide in case the Nightmare Man chased them. Back in the real world, The Doctor tried to wake Ditzy up, but she was also stuck asleep. “Oh no, the Nightmare Man has her too,” The Doctor said, “I hope she can save herself,” He continued talking to himself. In the dream, everything seemed safe for Ditzy and Flint, until some dark clouds appeared in the horizon, along with a pitch black fog, the Nightmare Man had indeed followed them. “Stay back here, I’ll try to save us,” Ditzy said. “Okay, good luck,” Flint responded, Ditzy flew out from behind the rocks to confront the Nightmare Man, she slowly walked towards him and he did the same towards Ditzy. “So you stop running and decide to face me?” The Nightmare Man taunted, “Face it, you are useless, what will you do? Weird me out with your stupid eyes until I pass out laughing?” He continued, a black tendril appeared and sliced at Ditzy’s leg, having the same effect as the previous time she was attacked. Ditzy was silent for a moment and continued walking, until she began to talk to her foe, “Everypony always called be useless, because I looked like I’d mess up any and everything,” She began, “You know what’s truly useless? People, no, monsters like you, who feel that their only purpose is to make other people suffer and who think that they’re the best thing in the world because of it all,” She ranted. “What point are you trying to make?” “My point is that you’re nothing, you’re not a threat to the Earth, the universe, nothing, you’re some little girl’s nightmare, you’re not an evil alien, you’re something she thinks is in her closet, waiting to eat her while she sleeps,” Ditzy said, being slowly consumed by the Nightmare Man’s cut. “Why should I care about that?” The Nightmare Man angrily asked. “Because if she dies, you go with her, you’re what fear looks like to her, you’re a part of her imagination who went wild thinking that looking spooky makes you the boss around here,” Ditzy said, “This is our dream, we can do what we want to it, so how about you shut it and go away already!” Ditzy finished her speech, the sun broke through the fog and clouds and made the Nightmare Man disintegrate with its light, Ditzy’s cut was also healed as he was destroyed. “Blondie, you did it!” Flint yelled, jumping out from behind the rocks and hugging Ditzy. “You’re welcome,” Ditzy said, “My name’s Ditzy, by the way,” She added. “Then thank you, Ditzy, you’re the best!” Flint said, hugging Ditzy more before she disappeared from the dream, waking up and allowing her father to calm down, Ditzy soon woke up as well, making The Doctor sigh with relief. “You two are okay!” The Doctor said. “Yep, the Nightmare Man is no more,” Ditzy replied. “And my little Flint is okay, thank you Doctor, Ditzy, not so much the blue one,” Steel said, much to Pond’s dismay. “Well, now’s a good time to get going, wherever it is we should be going, nice to meet y’all, hope to do it again some day,” The Doctor said, “Meeting you guys, that is,” He clarified. As The Doctor and his two companions were heading into the TARDIS, Ditzy saw Steel and Flint waving at them from their window, she waved back before entering the blue box. “Where now, then?” The Doctor asked. “Anywhere we don’t have to fight dream monsters, that’s for sure,” Ditzy said, “Maybe somewhere we can relax in,” She suggested. “Well, let’s see…” The Doctor checked the TARDIS’ computer, “How about the planet Petrichor?” “That could be fun, depending on what's on the planet,” Pond said, sitting down on a chair near the TARDIS console. “Then let’s g-” The Doctor was cut off by a distress signal coming in through the monitor, he turned it on, but nothing appeared, just static, “That’s weird, this signal is nothing, but I’m able to trace it back somewhere,” He said. “Then where is it from?” Ditzy asked. “Apparently from Sepra, a planet near a large space station,” The Doctor said, “Well, what are we waiting for?” He asked himself and took off with the TARDIS. END OF EPISODE 3 Author's Note Episode 3 is here, and it's just as awful as the last one. I tried to make Derpy/Ditzy better than Twilight by making her useful, with her saving Flint in this episode and the dumb speech that any monkey could've put together, I think it mildly worked, but just a tiny bit. I'm getting kind of tired of making and posting this story, but I'm too impatient to take a break... Help Next Time (If I don't die mid-writing or something): The Doctor and his crew visit Sepra and find themselves stuck in the middle of a war and underneath a falling space station. //-------------------------------------------------------// Episode 4 //-------------------------------------------------------// Episode 4 Doctor Whooves: Savior of the Universe Series 2 Episode 4: Shadow of Sepra Arriving at a city in Sepra, The Doctor opened the TARDIS doors and was immediately greeted by lasers flying from side to side, he fell back inside and got to the console again. “Did we arrive or…?” Ditzy asked. “We did, I’m just trying to do a better job parking this thing,” The Doctor responded, pushing a few buttons on the TARDIS console and pulling a lever. When the engines stopped, The Doctor went outside again, they were now sitting safely atop a building, “Now we’re good to go,” The Doctor said. “So this is Sepra,” Pond said, looking at the horizon of this orange planet, the sky was a light orange, the ground was almost red and a thin fog covered everything. “All I know about this place can be summed up into three things,” The Doctor began, “It’s a massive desert, the inhabitants have been at civil war for a long time and there is a space station crashing down to this city,” He said, pointing up at the massive object slowly falling down to the planet’s surface, Ditzy immediately panicked, but Pond stopped her. “Okay, what can or should we do?” Pond asked. “Find out why we were called here and, if possible, stop the people here from fighting so they can escape,” The Doctor answered. *** “Nothing… Nothing… Wait, I just spotted something blue atop a building, with some green, yellow and blue things are near it,” A stallion in a burning facility said. “Then we’ve found him, great!” A reptilian mare near him replied, “I’ll try to get troops down there immediately,” She said. “Let’s hope they won’t get shot down again,” The stallion said as the reptile pony went away. *** On Sepra, The Doctor and his crew were heading to the bottom of the building to see what was going on in the streets. Arriving there, The Doctor, Pond and Ditzy hid behind some debris and made their way forward, constantly hiding to not get hit by any shots. The trio reached a type of large bunker on one end of the city and sneaked inside, only to be met by a few familiar aliens pointing guns at them, these creatures were blue, with lanky limbs and triangular heads with six eyes, one of them cut through the group and analyzed The Doctor before taking off its helmet and properly looking at him. “Doctor, long time no see,” The alien creature said. “Wait, Quari?” The Doctor asked. “Exactly, the same Ceotu you saved from colony 6 all those years ago,” Quari said. “I could’ve sworn it was a few months ago, then again, time travel and such,” The Doctor remarked. “We are at war with the native Seprians for a long time, could you help us?” Another Ceotu requested. “Depends, I want to hear both sides of the story first, let’s heed yours, since you’re right here,” The Doctor said. “We wanted to colonize this planet to replace the old colony 6 as our natural reserve, I know, make a desert into a giant zoo, good idea, heh,” Quari said, “But once we landed, the Seprians just tried to gun our ships down, and I think they hit something on that station up there and now its falling,” He continued, “We managed to land and now we keep fighting,” Quari finished. “Okay, so you just wanted to restart the planetary reserve project, that’s good by me,” The Doctor replied, “Now I need to find the leader of the Seprians here and I can hear what he has to say,” He mentioned. “He and his army take up almost an entire half of the city, hard to miss them,” Quari explained, “So, see ya, Doc,” He said. Ditzy waved at the Ceotu and the group walked back outside, they traversed the wasteland of a city to reach the other side, as they approached their destination, they began to see dried blood on the walls and streets, guns being pointed out of windows and angry growls from inside of the buildings. They entered a towering building at the center of a roundabout, and several four-armed orange aliens were talking near the reception desk, the leader noticed The Doctor and his companions and pointed pistols at them. “We come in peace, so put that stuff down,” The Doctor said. “Whose side are you on?” The bulky orange alien asked, “Ours, the Ceotu or the Alliance?” “No one’s side, really,” Pond replied. “We want to hear your side of what’s happening here so we can try to stop war and you can all run from the falling space station in the sky,” The Doctor explained, “The Ceotu told us that they just wanted to turn this planet in a natural reserve because the Centurion Alliance burned Ceotis 6,” He continued. “I see,” The leader said, “My name is Zartus, general of the Seprian army in this city,” He introduced himself. “Okay, now to the story,” Ditzy said. “We were born in this planet, we lived in it for millions of years, do you think we’d let some aliens take it from us for the sake of making a massive zoo?!” Zartus angrily said. “Geez, calm down, we just wanted to hear your side on this situation, we’ll get out now,” The Doctor replied, before the trio could leave the building, a small ship landed and the Seprians took aim, some soldiers from the Centurion Alliance walked out, shooting at the Seprians. “Oh gosh,” Ditzy said, running for cover. “Stop firing, now!” The Doctor shouted and the two sides obeyed. “Wow,” Pond reacted. “Doctor, so we found you,” One of the soldiers said, she took off her helmet and revealed that she was a Silurian, “Captain Styn Straz, I believe you met my sister, before she...” She introduced herself, “Anyways, I’m glad we got to you before anyone shot you,” Styn said. “Okay, what do you want with me?” The Doctor asked “Come with us to the headquarters, that simple,” Styn replied. “Oh, alright then,” The Doctor said. They all entered the Alliance’s ship and it took off to the space station above. The small ship landed at a broken down hangar, where the group disembarked the ship and headed to a control room at the top. There was a table with a holographic map of the city below and several red dots scattered around the map, concentrated on either extreme of the city. “This is a map of City 11, as its been denominated,” Styn said. “I presume the red dots represent all of the life forms in the city,” Pond said. “Exactly, we’re also trying to stop this ongoing battle, but the Ceotu hate us, the Seprians don’t want us involved and you three are probably our only hope of starting peace,” Styn replied and explained. “Well, isn’t that just lovely,” The Doctor sarcastically commented. “We also have another problem,” Another mare got into the conversation, “Prisoner 0027, the Time Lord known as The Master, managed to escape his jail cell,” She said. “Yeah, I was gonna get to that,” Styn said, “The Master is somewhere down there, waiting for the dust to settle and for a chance to escape from this planet,” She explained. “Wow, things just get better every second,” The Doctor griped, “Well, do I have any choice?” “Not really, you and your team have to make the two leaders of the factions come to terms with each other so that, hopefully, the planet can live in peace, no need to worry about The Master, we have a team searching for him right now,” Styn said. “Okay, so take us back to the surface and we’ll schedule a meeting of sorts between Zartus and Quari,” The Doctor responded. “As you wish, lets get back to the hangar,” Styn said. “Can’t you just beam us up or down or something like that?” The Doctor asked. “This base is falling apart as we speak, we have to save energy in every way possible,” Styn replied. They returned to the station’s hangar and took a ship down to the surface, near the Ceotu bunker. “Quari!” Ditzy called out. “I’ll be right there,” Quari replied from inside of the base, he rushed outside and saw The Doctor and his crew at his doorstep, “Oh, you’re back!” “We need you to meet with someone at the city hall, let’s go,” The Doctor said, pulling Quari’s hand. “Okay then, I suppose,” Quari reacted. At the city hall, the lights were dim over a desk and two chairs, the group sat Quari onto one of them and he looked around, confused. “You can come over now,” The Doctor called, a bulky, orange, four-armed alien showed up from the shadows and Quari got mildly angered, Zartus then sat down on the other chair and the two aliens stared at each other with anger in their eyes, “Is the camera set up?” The Doctor asked. “Almost done,” Ditzy replied. “Camera? What is this?” Zartus asked. “We’re going to broadcast this debate to every other city on Sepra, every soldier is gonna have to see you two come to an agreement of some, any sort,” The Doctor explained. “I suppose we can try to discuss all of this rationally,” Quari said. “I agree with him, are we done?” Zartus asked. “Nope, not good enough,” Pond said. “Attention all soldiers, Ceotu, Seprian, anyone in between, you are watching the debate between your leaders, live from the Sepra capital,” The Doctor spoke into a microphone, “You two can start now, tell each other your purposes and all that,” He told them. “Well, me and my kind just wanted to rebuild a natural reserve that those bastards at the Alliance burned shamelessly,” Quari angrily started the debate. “Wow, you wanted to build a zoo in a populated planet, you truly are geniuses,” Zartus replied, getting up from his chair. “No, no, no,” The Doctor stopped them, “Discuss this maturely, please,” He said. “Shut up, Time Lord!” Zartus told him off. “Fine, I’ll let you two settle this all alone,” The Doctor said, walking back behind the camera. “Ugh, so,” Zartus began, “Why did you want to colonize our world,” He asked. “I already told you, the Centurion Alliance destroyed our sixth colony to stop a Dalek attack,” Quari responded. “Okay, and why did you think you could take our planet?” Zartus questioned. “We don’t even want your full planet anymore, you’re killing everyone who tries to run away for some reason, we can live just having a large area to build our reserve,” Quari replied. “Is that so?” Zartus said. “Exactly, just give us a large enough area to put together a natural reserve, maybe a space or air base, and we’ll be good,” Quari explained, “I’d say I’m surprised that you didn’t listen before, but you refused to do so,” He added. “Well, if that’s all, then I, in part of my entire army, apologize for this massive misunderstanding,” Zartus said, he put his arm up to Quari and they shook hands, it was all recorded and broadcast live across the planet, so everyone saw them there. “Wow, that was much easier than I thought,” The Doctor said. Before they could all celebrate the agreement, a gray stallion with a messy black mane walked out of the shadows, pointing a type of sonic screwdriver at either of the leaders. “Hahah, I was waiting for a good chance for my assassination attempt, what better time than when its being shown live across this pitiful planet,” The Master said. “Get out of here,” The Doctor responded. “Oh, Doctor, why can’t you be glad to see your old friend?” The Master asked, “By the way, Zartus is a liar,” He mentioned. “Huh?” Quari was confused. “It’s basically in Seprian blood to try and get another species’ trust before killing them,” The Master explained. “Uh oh,” Ditzy said, Zartus walked up behind Quari and shot the Ceotu in the head, killing him on the spot, the murder was shown across the planet and made all of the soldiers angrier than ever before. “Oh dear, what now?” The Doctor asked himself, all of them heard a stampede outside, Pond rushed outside to check and ran back in to report on what was going on. “The two armies are over here,” Pond said, “This will not end well, at all,” He commented “What do we do?” Ditzy asked The Doctor. “I’ll do my best, for one,” The Doctor answered as he began to walk away. “But what about us? Do we sit here with an insane alien with a gun?” Ditzy got angry at The Doctor. “Okay then, come along,” The Doctor replied. They sneaked past the armies and headed to the building where the TARDIS was situated. Inside of the ship, The Doctor rushed further inside and came back with an amplifier, a black guitar and a pair of sunglasses. “Really?” Ditzy was confused. “I have a drum kit and a bass, if you wanna help,” The Doctor joked, “Anyways, I did forget something,” He said, rushing back into the TARDIS to come back with a boombox and a small tape. “What are you gonna do? Play a cover of some old song until they stop?” Pond asked. “Uh, no, that’s totally not it,” The Doctor tried to lie. “Ugh, let’s just go back, I’ll carry the radio thingy, Ditzy, take the amp,” Pond said, picking up the boombox’ handle. “This is a spaceship, did you forget?” The Doctor pointed out, he pushed a lever while doing a pose and the TARDIS took off back to the city hall, where The Master was watching the ruckus outside from a safe position, the group grabbed all of the things and headed to the doors. “Oh, you’re back so soon?” The Master condescendingly asked. “I have no time or patience for your garbage, just let us through,” The Doctor replied. “Okay, calm down, go on ahead,” The Master said, moving out of the doors, the group took their equipment and headed outside, The Master then noticed all of the things their were toting around, “Whatever their plan is, it won’t end well,” He said to himself. “The Ceotu leader has been killed, the Seprians are victorious!” Zartus said to the crowd as they fought. “Sorry, could you move over to the side a bit, I need to get things set up,” The Doctor said, Zartus was confused, but obliged, he moved to the side. Ditzy placed the amplifier beside The Doctor, Pond placed the boombox on the opposite side, The Doctor plugged in his guitar and used his sonic screwdriver to create a power source for the boombox and amp. “Um… I don’t know what to say right now, so I guess I can try to speak through this song,” The Doctor awkwardly said, he turned on the amp, put the tape in the boombox and a song began to play. https://img.youtube.com/vi/a01QQZyl-_I/mqdefault.jpg The Doctor played the guitar to the melody of the lyrics, and the war almost stopped, if not for a few Seprians that weren’t enjoying this show so much. “Your peaceful tactics are futile, cease this pathetic noise at once!” An elder Seprian soldier said, shooting The Doctor’s boombox, making the song stop. “Hey, that was really ex-” The Doctor cut himself off to dodge another shot, directed at his amplifier, which also broke down on the spot. “Okay, Doc, what’s plan B, C, whatever plan we’re even on now?” Ditzy asked. “We use my secret technique, the one that’s sure to save us all in the end,” The Doctor dramatically said. “And that is…?” Pond asked. The Doctor began to dash back into the city hall, “RUN!!!” He shouted, Ditzy and Pond followed him and The Master caught up to them. When all of them were in the TARDIS, The Doctor closed and locked the doors, just to be sure that they’d be safe, he then stopped to check if everything and everyone was there, and he noticed the extra passenger. “Stop giving me that look Doctor,” The Master said, “Look, just let me get a change of clothes and then you can drop me off anywhere you want,” He suggested. “Sure, whatever, just find the closet and do your stuff,” The Doctor said, The Master then trotted into the TARDIS to find out where the closet even was. “Hey Doctor, are you okay?” Ditzy asked. “More or less, I failed to save two races from obliterating each other, I lost my favorite amp and boombox, but at least my friends are safe,” The Doctor remarked, “Somethings you just can’t fix, war will always happen for one reason or another, some people will always be hungry, and what am I to do about all of that,” The Doctor reflected, he walked over to the TARDIS console and laid down on top of it. “Uh, Doctor, what is that thing?” Pond asked, pointing at a ghostly white figure resembling The Doctor. “Don’t mind it, whatever it is, it’ll go away,” The Doctor replied, not looking at the reflection of the phantom on the time rotor until it was already gone, all he saw were the scattered light particles floating away. A few moments later, The Master walked back to the console room, now wearing a gray vest, a silver watch and sunglasses. “I hope you don’t mind if I keep this stuff,” The Master said. “Okay, now that you’re done, where do you want me to leave you at?” The Doctor questioned. “I don’t know, Earth?” The Master requested, “If that’s fine with you, that is,” He said. “No, it’s okay, Earth, past, present, who cares when,” The Doctor said, pressing a few buttons and pulling a lever down. In just a while, they were safely on Earth and The Master got off of the TARDIS. The ship’s doors were closed and the crew of the TARDIS was wondering where to go next. “I’ve always wondered what space schools are like,” Ditzy broke the silence. “That sounds like an awful idea,” Pond replied. “No such thing as a bad idea, just a bad or disappointing payoff,” The Doctor said, “But, yeah, that sounds very boring,” He added, “How about a surprise, I’ll just take us somewhere and we’ll see where the ship lands?” “Now that’s a good idea,” Pond said, Ditzy grunted in response, The Doctor pressed in a code on the console’s keyboard and puled the lever to take off. END OF EPISODE 4 Author's Note I finally finished this episode and now it's posted, was it worth the wait for the single account-less person keeping up with this garbage? Probably not... I don't know what else to add this this note. Next Time: The Doctor and his companions end up in a realm between time and space, where they spend a "night" at a mansion.
