Six
Six Insane Mares
Load Full StoryYou rub your hoof along the back of your thumping head. A small cough escapes from you, remembering that a minor cold had infected you a few days ago. One thing was the only thought plucking at your mind.
Where were you?
The concrete floor under you was freezing but polished nicely, your brown mane and navy blue skin reflecting against its wall of glass-like structure. However, it was completely ironic that such a nice flooring would belong in a dark place like this.
Your stone-grey orbs darted back and forth with slight panic, taking in the eerie mien this strange place had to offer. The cobwebs in the corners and dried stains in the walls told you that this building had been abandoned. The air reeked with the aroma of mud and dirt.
You stand up on your weak legs, pondering of where the exit might dwell. Looking around, you notice a large hallway padded with tile walls. You note that it is pitch black down the corridor, you glance at a small lantern placed next to it. Seeing that you are a earth pony with no magical abilities, you place it in your mouth and sigh. You didn't want to go down there, but it was the only way out of this dead end you have been placed in.
Both the temperature and atmosphere had changed when you walked in. The temperature had dropped around ten degrees, causing you to shiver and shake. The atmosphere- well, it certainly had gotten more dark, literally and figuratively. Many drawings of fillies who had come here were pasted onto the walls, but they were not ordinary. The glimpse of a painting of which a dead pony lay made you feel uneasy, your nerves urging you to turn away. You obeyed your senses, and kept looking forward until you saw any sign of exiting.
Something had caught your attention. Below the dust and dirt of the wall, a sign was placed on the tile.
TROTTINGHAM MENTAL FACILITY; FOR PONIES IN NEED
So now, you knew where you were. At the same time, you panicked. You lived in Ponyville, not Trottingham. You need to find this exit.
The corridor had eventually come to a stop after fourty-five minutes, and you were met with yet another three hallways. You put the lantern down to your hooves, but not before noticing a small note, the papyrus paper torn at the edges. It looked as old as about thirty years. Most of the words written were scribbled out, but some were still legible to read.
T̡̼̱͈̻̅ͪ⃡͌⃡̓́H̺̲̿E̳͙̤̟̳̗̊᷉ͫ̌̒͑ S͇̹͕̦̳͙̣͕̏̈͆ͬ⃖I͕͉༙̥ͩ̄͑ͤ̓Ẍ̵̼͈̤̦̠̲͓⃡ͤ̀̕ Aཽ̲̙̦̙̠̫͛ͪ҈R̗̬̺ͭͮ̐̀Ȩ̫͎̦̹̦͎ͬ̅̑ͧͨ̈ͯͪ H̤̦̒̋͗̃̋̔҈E̦̪̺̥̗͚̟̹ͩ́R̷͙͉̫̱̣̅͗̔̈̀̒᷈꙰E̞̣̣̟̯͉͕̽ͯ̌

Fortunately, you could make out the words of scribbled ink. You could clearly see "The Six are here" and "Please help me". Quite creepy, but you had passed it on as some hoax of a prank somepony had made a long time ago to scare their friends, whoever lived in this broken mental asylum.
Speaking of which, beside the hallways lay a door leading to a padded room, most likely for solitary confinement. Wonders of what psychopaths had stepped hoof in this room lingered in your mind.
Snapping out of your thoughts, you turn back to the three hallways. Only one of them leads to the exit.
Picking up the lantern in front of you, your legs sauntered over to the middle hallway with a determined look.
It was much different than the last you have taken. The floor was uncomfortable to walk on with various sharp items scattered across it. You didn't mind this until you had reached a dead end.
"Gotta turn back,"you muttered under your breath very quietly. Concern was growing greatly from you. The only thing you could do now was take the other two paths.
"Ouch!" you yelp at the sudden jolt of pain in your left front hoof. You grunt as you lower the lantern down to the floor, its orange light revealing your bleeding hoof, its red residue staining your blue fur. You question how this blade get here in the first place. Turning back, you walk toward the opening.
Until you see a ghostly pink pony block your way. She is overshadowed by the eerie darkness you've been through, her mane is deflated and straight, as if she was depressed in some way. Her entire body was translucent just a bit, but what caused you the most terror was the black eyes. They were lifeless, almost dead.
You hear her shrill voice echo across the entire black room. This was no ordinary mare's cheery laugh, but the demonic and ghostly sense of her voice sent many shivers crawling down your back. Her small laughs slowly shifted into sadistic and twisted guffaws.
"COME HERE! Hehehe..."Her grim smile stretched out from ear to ear, causing you to dash towards the exit. You manage to get just past the hallway to the right, but not before she trips you over your legs. Waves of pain lashed throughout your worn out body.
"It's been so long......" she seemed to be yelling violently now. Your ears perk back in response to the insane laughter still going.
"SINCE I HAVE TASTED FLESH!"
You noticed she had the same dagger in her mouth. She brought it down roughly to the hilt, and you wailed in torture. Without thinking, you honed your muscles and kicked back as hard as you could. Thankfully, it was enough strength to get her to the ground. You ran away from the crazed pony, ignoring the massive bleeding coming from your flank.
You were far away from her now. You lay yourself down to the floor, catching your breath. Even though your lantern had been left behind, the light here was much brighter.
A sudden squeak caught your attention. Two mice emerged from the dark shadows, playfully jumping around. They seemed to be searching for a food source. One of them, white, crawled up to your blood-stained flank. You tried to chase it away with a wave of your hoof, but, surprisingly, it had aided you, and stopped the blood loss with its tongue.
"Oh, my!"
A voice of a timid mare rose. She revealed herself.
Her eyes were the same smoky black, and her coat and mane was dusty, with yellow fur and a pink, long, and wavy mane. A pegasus, she was. But she was different than the last horrifying pony. Her voice was normal, and her nature was calm instead of sadistic.
"I see my little mice have treated your wounds," her voice soothed you from your recent trauma. "You poor thing! Follow me, I'll lead you to a much safer place."
The idea of following her seemed suspicious to you, but soon realized it was your only chance for medical attention. You went after her into the dark, as with the mice.
"I hope it's not too much bleeding," the yellow pony whispered.
Your intentions told you it was safer to follow her instead stay there and bleed to death. She had insisted to give you spare water, although there was no possible way she could retrive it from anywhere in here. You remembered you hadn't eaten since you've woken up.
"Here," The pony handed you a half-eaten apple. "Eat this, you must be starving." You ate the whole thing happily, ignoring the rotten taste it had left behind in your mouth.
Suddenly, a wave of dizziness overtook your senses. Your legs wobbled in attempts to stand. Eventually, you collapsed to the darkened floor.
Panic flooded your mind when you regained consciousness. You were strapped to a cold, metal table, and the first thing you noticed was your stomach had been cut across, leaving a bleeding and gory scar. Everything was hurting across your body.
"I see...you have awoken...," A voice sounded from in front of you. It was the yellow pegasus, now looking more demented and demonic, like the other pony.
"My animals...they need feeding," she explained. "I need to harvest raw meat."
Raw meat, she had said, then pointing out the two mice biting away at a piece of your torn flesh. Your fur tore against the struggling of your vice, but there was no use in running. You were trapped, at her mercy. As she continued to remove small bits of your flesh, she seemed to be singing in some way.
"Hush now, quiet now,
It's time to lay your sleepy head.
Hush now, quiet now,
It's time to go to bed."
She kept singing her merry tune, as you wailed against the hacksaw she had placed near your back legs. It slowly worked back and forth against the fur, then bone. Then, she suddenly stopped, and, released you from your vice. Your body slumped to the floor violently as you crashed down, beaten.
"I believe somepony else needs you...."
Then, the room glowed white.
The new area you were sent to was much brighter than the last rooms. Colors from the rainbow were glowing from clear tubes, behind black walls. You could tell you were in the same building, just in a different room.
"That's the pony! "
You recognized that voice.
The pink pony.
Then, a blue pegasus with a rainbow mane kicked you onto your side roughly.
"Hey! You broken piece of manure! Get up!"she ordered you sharply, kicking you until you arose. The damage left from the yellow pony did not disappear. The blue mare had the same appearance as the others; black eyes, ghostly body. Except, she had fresh blood covered all over her. The pink one stood next to her, looking at you with a twisted smile.
"Looks like somepony left the party early...." The pink mare sighed. "What a naughty pony you are! For shame!"
"For shame, Pinkie," The blue winged pony shook her head in agreement.
"By the way, you little scum," Her rough insults were not helping your paranoia. "I'm Dash. This is Pinkie." You've finally heard their names. The blue one, Dash. The pink one, well, Pinkie.
"Are we gonna start, or what?" Dash started to drag you across the floor, which caused your sides and flank to burn intensely with pain.
She strapped you onto a table, similar to the blonde pony's. One difference was that the straps were more loose. You would try to get free, if you were lucky.
"Have a cupcake!" Pinkie suddenly lunged forward, and force-fed you a part of your raw flesh, seeming to have a bit of frosting on it. You chewed and swallowed, coughing and gagging afterword, mixed from the terrible taste and your cold. She had to be insane, if she called cannibalism a way of cooking cupcakes. You were still struggling to break free of your restraints as the metal-like taste of blood remains on your tongue.
"Nicely done, Pinkie," Dash admired Pinkie's work. "It's a shame we have to take their life away."
Her lips curled into a delighted smirk, but not before pulling a lever back. It triggered a blade to slowly move forward, taking its sweet time. You squirmed against the straps holding you down, as the blade moved closer to the middle of your body.
"HA! I just LOVE when my victims squirm and BEG for mercy!" Dash cheered happily, stamping the ground. "Your colors will surely make a great rainbow." She had noted your use to her was only your color to drain, to make so called, "rainbows".
The blade was almost close to cutting right through your fast-beating heart. It was getting closer...closer..until..
Your restraints broke, and your body dropped. You were free from murder for the third time.
You immediately broke off into a run. Pinkie chased after you, which only motivated you to run faster. Youdreaded Pinkie, she was the most sadistic. You kept running until you couldn't see a thing.
A blue light stopped you in your tracks. It seemed to be coming from a beautiful white unicorn.
You took it back after looking more closely. Not only did she hold the same features of the last three, but she was covered in many scars, with a blood-red heart branded onto her chest.
"Darling," her voice was the same, of course, only it had a slight ring of "elegance" to it. "Where ever did you gain those terrible wounds?"
"Other...ponies," you told her in a groggy voice. That was the first time you spoke since you've gotten here.
"So, they've prepared for me? That's good. Now, darling, I hope you don't mind if I borrow some of your FUR!"
She pinned you down to the floor violently, causing your head to pulse with pain. Her blue aura dragged a knife to where you were laying. She aimed the knife at different types of places, choosing where to place it. You squirmed in terror, knowing a knife can cause damage wherever it may be placed.
Finally, she lunged the knife forward to the knee, but not deep inside your body. Instead, she proceeded to skin your fur off your body, slowly. Still, it caused you as much pain as the blade being deep in your flesh. Your knee was burning greatly, and the unicorn placed your navy fur aside. You couldn't stop screaming.
She noticed your begs and cries, and rolled her eyes. "Quit your whining, would you? Momma Rarity's got to have her fabric!"
So her name was Rarity.
Fortunately, you had just enough strength to kick her off of you. You weakly crawled to the nearest wall, but ended up close to a cliff that led into a deep hole. Seeing as if Rarity was chasing after you for your fur, you took your chances and felt yourself falling fast. Your eyes closed.
"Hey! Y'all wake up, now, nasty fall you had there."
An orange pony with a blonde mane had greeted you awake. You realized you were held by no restraints. Finally, a pony that didn't have plans of taking your life. But, she looked the same as everypony you've stumbled upon.
"Listen," you say without thinking to the orange pony. "There are insane ponies here who are trying to kill me. Please, if you know a way out, I beg to Celestia you take me. I hate the ponies here!"
The mare just stood there, and glared at you with a displeased expression. She stayed that way for a few moments.
"Looks like I have myself a bad apple," her voice seemed more rough and serious than the rest. It filled you with terror in the worst way possible. You were suddenly met with a lasso tying you up in its grip. So much for no murder.
"Y'all like apples, don't you?" she asked. Why would anything have to do with apples in this type of situation?
Then you knew it. An apple almost double the normal size was forcefully shoved down your gullet, as you choked and gagged to let it escape from your mouth. Thankfully, it rolled out with ease after a few attempts.
She gave you a grunt in response, annoyed, and unsatisfied.
"Listen," her voice stung your ears painfully. "Sorry about this."
You were suddenly pushed down an even deeper hole, waiting for whatever nightmarish pony would attempt to kill you.
"GET UP, NOW!"
Dash's voice was the voice you first heard, followed by violent grunts from her of kicking you repeatedly. You were not shackled nor tied up, but on the ground. You attempted to move away, but you figured some kind of spell was keeping you still.
"How rude, Dash! That's not a proper hello. " Rarity was the one to perk up then.
"YES! I just KNEW we would catch you! Heheheheh....." Pinkie held that same creepy smile, making you even more paranoid.
"Aww...look who came back to play." The yellow pony had come back, her name still a mystery to you.
"Here's the pony Y'all been askin' for." The orange pony had retuned as well.
For the next few minutes, the room was filled with the five standing in a circle, giggling and talking of their final plans for murder. Dash continued to brutally whack your body painfully, until it was bruised a good deal, to her mindset. You had given up on struggling.... one or two ponies at a time was hard enough, but all five was too much for you. Things couldn't get any worse than this.
Until the sixth had arrived.
"Girls." A voice sounded from ahead of the dark room. All ten pupils of the mares glanced to where the noise was coming from.
A purple alicorn had walked out of the black, analyzing you. Her mane was nicely neatened, unlike the rest of the group, whose manes were dirty and knotted. Her eyes mirrored the five, as black, dark holes.
"Well, well, well," She taunted playfully, in that same, haunting voice, but smooth. "Looks like we have ourselves a new victim. How did you stumble upon our little corner of Trottingham?"
You remained silent. Any wrong word out of you and your death would be slower than planned.
""ANSWER HER! I'LL RIP YOU TO SHREDS!" Dash screamed, punting you roughly in the leg. You obeyed, from fear of having to go through more abuse from her.
"I..just woke up h-here..." you answered, trying to choke back tears at the same time. Before Dash could strike another insult at you, Pinkie perked up suddenly.
"Hee-hee! It's true! I found them sleeping in the forest! Now that they're here, we have another to kill! Hahhaha!"
All of a sudden, everything came flooding back to you. While taking a walk into the forest, you noticed a rose next to a small river, which you thought would be a nice gift for your fillyfriend. The next thing you knew, you tripped on some rocks by accident, then blacked out and woke up in Trottingham.
"But," you didn't mean to ask, but you had to know what took you this far from home. "How did I get from my home to..here?"
"Simple. "The purple one answered you. "We are demons. Broken for the past centuries. We all have nothing but an unquenchable thirst for the suffering of others. We shall not overcome Equestria...only remain here, waiting for another unfortunate pony."
You couldn't process much of that over your confusion and pain of wounds, but you knew that they were all ghosts, explaining how Pinkie had brought you here. You longed for any sign of escape, but the alicorn's spell was too effective.
"The time has come, my peers. Let us begin."
As soon as the alicorn declared that, everypony crowded around you, until Pinkie had shoved the rest out of the way.
"Me first!" she demanded. Her gaze was fixed upon you in an unsettling way. You were beginning to sweat out of fear.
"What a nice cupcake you will make!" She promised to you happily with a smile.
The yellow pegasus handed her a large scalpel, and slowly proceeded to cut open your stomach, revealing your organs. They were covered in blood, as the burning of your insides increased. You screamed so loudly that your eardrums nearly had broken. Pinkie plucked out several bits of your intestine, blood covering the top of her hooves.
"Enough, Pinkie Pie!" Dash had pushed her out of the way. "Time to get rid of this unwanted trash, ONCE AND FOR ALL!"
She didn't wait to make her first move. Instead of going for your now torn organs, she turned you over to face your backside, and kicked as hard as she could. The worst part, her bucking.
Her bucks were rough, and wouldn't stop coming. One by one, they hit your back and sides. You were sure by now your last breath was coming soon.
"I need your fur, ALL OF IT!" You could hear Rarity's laughter over your cries of agony. Thankfully, Dash's bucking had stopped until you have bled half to death, but your relief was short-lived. Rarity has began to skin off the rest of your fur. You felt like you were in Tarturus, the pain was that great.
After about five minutes, Rarity had finished her work. She hadn't removed all of your fur, but only most. Enough to look like a sheard sheep, but was on the verge of death.
"Applejack, share your turn with me," The yellow pegasus called out to the orange earth pony. "I need assistance."
And with that, both the orange and yellow ponies lay you down from the wall, placing you on the ground with a thud. The yellow hummed her sweet melody while removing small parts of covered flesh from your body, saving the most savor pieces for her animals, while tossing the less savor to Pinkie. The orange, who was named Applejack, made small cuts across your ears and forehead. You screamed at the top of your lungs.
"Hush now, it's alright." The yellow soothed you while stroking your mane, but it didn't help in the least.
As soon as the nightmare the five created was over, the purple pony walked up to you. She was smirking happily, satisfied with her friends' work. They have broken you, beaten you, tormented you. Now, there was one last thing to complete.
"Well done." She was pleased with the five. She turned back to you, and paced back and forth. "I must agree that it is time that this suffered soul had left us."
You were too weak and drained of energy to fight back or struggle. It wouldn't be long now until you would pass. The alicorn levitated you into the air, suspending you. All twelve eyes were fixed upon you, and all six ponies were smiling. The alicorn's horn started to glow a blinding white. You knew what was happening; you were going to get demolished by the magical beam, stopping your heart. At least it would be quick, any escape from here was good enough for you.
"It was nice toying with you..." The alicorn giggled. Your vision was getting darker, her voice fading from your mind. "We had fun, didn't we?"
No, you thought. Not at all.
"Goodbye. It was nice playing with you."
The next thing she did was fire her horn straight at you.
The last thing you saw was the six ponies watching you, as you took your last breath and sighed.
