Rarity was inside her house as she was sowing material together to make a dress. She had already finished a couple of other dresses as well and now she was starting on another one. She sighed as she wanted to get it done by the end of tomorrow so that there was no delays
Soon there was a knock on her door. She put the dress down and got up and walked to her door. She got to her door and opened it. Pinkie Pie smiled at her. She was taken back by the sudden appearance of Pinkie Pie. Rarity let her in and Pinkie sat down. Rarity sat down as well.
"Hi Darling. How are you doing?" Rarity asked. Pinkie looked at the ground. Rarity wondered what Pinkie needed. She tried to think of what Pinkie needed help with. Rarity wanted to help her with whatever it was. Rarity sat down by Pinkie and looked at her. Pinkie looked back at her.
"Rarity I came over here to tell you something....I'm not sure how to explain it." Pinkie said. Rarity nodded as she listened to Pinkie speak. She wanted to know what Pinkie Pie was going to say. Pinkie thought over he decision of telling Rarity what she needed to say.
"Take your time darling." Rarity said as she nodded. Pinkie Pie did just that as she took time for herself to prepare to tell Rarity about what was on her mind. Pinkie Pie was nervous about telling Rarity. Rarity waited patiently. She didn't mind if Pinkie took her time to tell her.
Pinkie was extremely nervous about the possibility that Rarity wouldn't understand. Pinkie tried to think through how she should say what needed to be said. Pinkie looked at Rarity with longingly and nervousness. She hoped Rarity wouldn't reject her feelings.
Pinkie took a deep breath to calm herself and decided to get it over with as waiting would cause her to get upset. She closed her eyes and thought her confession through. She looked back up at Rarity and stared for the longest time. She wanted to be apart of Rartiy's life but she didn't know Rarity wanted that. She finally spoke.
"Rarity....I'm in love with you." Pinkie said. Pinkie looked at the ground as she didn't want to see Rarity's reaction. She felt horrible and depressed at the possibility of being rejected. She wanted to spend her life with Rarity. She was in love and couldn't help that. Rarity scrunched her brow. That made Pinkie worry more.
"Your in love with me...?" Rarity asked in a an unsure tone which made Pinkie nervous. Pinkies heart start to race as she panicked. She had no idea what Rarity was going to do. She was hoping that Rarity would understand. Pinkie stared at her to try and see what emotion she was feeling at that moment.
"Yes Rarity I've felt this way for along time...." Pinkie began to say but Rarity was not going to have that. Pinkie was so scared of Rarity's reaction. She hoped that her friend would accept her feelings. Rarity finally responded.
"Get out." Rarity spat. Tears started to well up in Pinkies eyes as she couldn't believe that it was turning out badly for her. She tried to reason with Rarity hoping Rarity would cut it out.
"Rarity...please..." Pinkie said as she was terrified of what Rarity would say. She wanted to reason with Rarity but knew that was now impossible as Rarity wanted to have nothing to do with it.
"Get out of my house!!" Rarity screamed at Pinkie. Pinkie did as she was told as she ran out of Rarity's place as she sobbed uncontrollably. She ran as fast as she could her tears flowing down her face. She felt awful. She was not expecting Rarity to react like that. She felt depressed as she would never be able to go out with the one she loved.
Pinkie ran back to Sugarcube Corner. She went to her room and cried loudly. She could not believe the way Rarity reacted. It shocked and saddened her. She wondered why Rarity got so upset. Pinkie just told that she loved Rarity and Rarity screamed at her.
She sobbed as she sat on her bed. Tears ran down her face. She felt hopeless at the fact that she could never date Rarity now. She could never be with the mare she loved as Rarity had rejected her in anger. Her heart felt broken by what had just happened to her. She should have never told Rarity her feelings.
Pinkie sobbed in despair as she thought about her crush. She felt hurt by the rejection she had just experienced. She pondered on the way that Rarity responded to her. Rarity acted like Pinkie insulted her when Pinkie confessed her feelings. It upset her greatly.
Pinkie wondered what she should do. She wondered if she should tell somepony or just back off from Rarity and just leave her friend alone while never telling her about her crush on her again. Pinkie wiped away her tears. She could not believe how Rarity reacted.
She kept thinking on what had happened. She wondered why she was screamed at. Rarity didn't have any reason to yell at her. If Rarity didn't want to date her then she could have told her nicely.
"She didn't have to scream at me about it..." Pinkie said as she continued shed tears over the incident that happened between her and Rarity. Her reaction devastated Pinkie She wondered what she did to make Rarity so angry to act like that towards her. Rarity's reaction made no sense to Pinkie.
Pinkie Pie continued to shed a few more tears but wiped them away. She got in bed and just laid there sadly thinking about Rarity screaming at her. She should never have told Rarity how she felt. She was devastated. She didn't know if she could move on as her love for Rarity was strong.
Soon there was a knock on her door. She went and opened it up. She saw Rarity crying. She was shocked at the sight of her friend. She thought that Rarity wanted nothing to do with her. Rarity sobbed and cried.
"Pinkie! I'm so sorry for what I did to you! I had no right to act like that! After when I screamed at you to leave I sat down and after a few hours I realized how wrong I was as I found out that I had a crush on you!" Rarity cried as she explained
Pinkie felt relived. She was not put at ease as she knew why Rarity acted like that towards her. She hugged her tightly. She kissed Rarity's cheek and smiled. She then pulled away from the hug.
"So you'll date me then?" Pinkie exclaimed in excitement. Rarity nodded her head and kissed Pinkie on the lips causing Pinkies heart to burst with joy. They then pulled apart and Rarity responded
"Of coarse I will!" She exclaimed as she kissed her. From that point on they were finally happy as they both got to be with eachother.
