Hiccup and Toothless the Babysitters
Twilight and her husband, Timber Spruce were making plans for an upcoming trip to the Crystal Empire when they thought of something.
"Hey, what are we gonna do with the triplets?" Timber asked.
"Oh, yeah, the triplets. Hm, well, I guess we could call a sitter." Timber said.
"But who are we gonna call? All of our friends, the princesses, and your sister are coming with us to the crystal fair, so, who would we contact?" Twilight asked.
"Uh, we could ask Starlight or Trixie?" Timber suggested.
"Uh, Starlight moved to the Crystal Empire when she married Sunburst, and Trixie is currently performing in Saddle Arabia." Twilight said.
"Oh, so I guess we don't have anything else to do except for brining them with us." Timber said.
"Oh! Wait! I totally forgot about all of my inter-dimensional pen-pals!" Twilight said as she got her quill and a scroll.
"Oh, yeah, but none of them have had to deal with alicorn foals." Timber said.
"Well, Star and Marco have babysat magical beings before." Twilight said.
"Uh, they're probably in another dimension, where we won't be able to get to them."
"Right, um. Hey! What about Dipper and Mabel?"
"Not currently in Gravity Falls."
"Right, but what about-"
"All of your friends are in a different place, or just to busy, well, other than Hiccup and his friends, we haven't heard from them in ages." Timber said.
"Oh yeah! I totally forgot about them! Oh! And we probably haven't heard from them because I haven't sent them any terror mail! Duh!" Twilight said as she put her hoof to her forehead.
"And if they're busy?"
"We'll take the kids with us."
"Got it, I'm gonna go get them ready for bed." Timber sid.
"M'kay." Twilight said as she put a note in the terrible terror's claws and sent it into the portal hall.
"That should do it, now all we have to do is wait for a reply." Twilight said, proud of herself.
Dear Hiccup and friends,
As most of you may know, I have recently become a mother of three. But my husband and I have some business to attend to in another place and cannot find a babysitter. So, we would appreciate it if you would come and babysit while we are away. It'll only be for a week. I have left a note in the kitchen on what you need to do. Oh! And I am terribly sorry that I haven't written to you in a while, I have been very busy and simply forgot, please let me know if you can or can't babysit for us.

Hiccup read, he quickly wrote back.
Dear Twilight,
Yes, it would be a pleasure for me and some friends to babysit for you. And it's perfectly fine about you not writing back to us. We'll be at your castle tomorrow, we still have a few preparations to make for other things. But we'll be at your castle sometime tomorrow.

Hiccup wrote.
"Okay, now I just need to find some people to come with me, as well as an acting chief." Hiccup said to himself.
"Wait, you mean that I get to be acting chief?!" Hiccup's friend, Snotlout asked excitedly.
"Well, I was gonna take you and the twins along with Astrid and Fishlegs, but you are the people who I trust the least with babies of a different species. And, it was either you as the acting chief, or the twins." Hiccup explained.
"Who cares why I get to be chief, I GET TO BE CHIEF! Snotlout! Snotlout! Oy! Oy! Oy!" Snotlout chanted.
"Right, we'll be back soon, just don't burn down the village, okay?"
"Got it!"
"Hiccup, are you sure that this is a good idea? I mean, Snotlout as the acting chief, for who knows long! You couldn't just leave Fishlegs behind?" Astrid asked.
"Hey! I actually know how to treat an infant of any kind, and I don't know what other reason why you're coming, you're a warrior! Not a babysitter." Fishlegs said angrily.
"I had to look after Gustav for a while." Astrid said.
"We all did. And quite frankly, you didn't do a very good job."
"Would you two stop arguing! Stay here while I get the dragons." Hiccup said as he walked toward the stable.
"Whew, I thought I was gonna have to leave my Meatlug behind! If you leave gronkles alone for long periods of time, they get testy!" Fish legs said.
"Yeah, yeah. Just be careful about what you say in this dimension. Ponies aren't exactly like humans."
"Yes, I know, Hiccup gave me the talk. But he also said not to go into the Dragon Lands and record all of the amazing dragons there, which I think is totally insane."
"Fishlegs! Remember that the Dragonlord Ember made Toothless mad, and both Hiccup and Toothless were nearly killed! Those dragons do not like us humans." Astrid said.
"Okay, are we ready?" Hiccup asked once he returned with the dragons.
"Ready!" Fishlegs and Astrid said in unison.
"Well, then let's go!" Hiccup said as he stepped through the portal.
"Oooh! This is so exciting!" Fish legs said as he ran through the portal.
"Oh, boy, an entire week of apples and who knows what." Astrid said as she stepped through the portal.
"What if they got held up? What if they were attacked? What if they drowned?!" Twilight fretted as she paced around the portal hall.
"Twilight, you sound like me on our wedding day, and Rarity for that matter. They'll be here, if not, they would tell us." Timber said.
Just then, one of the portals lit up and Hiccup and company stepped through.
"Oh thank Celestia, I thought you guys had drowned!" Twilight said, relived.
"That is a valid thought for those two, since they can fall off their dragons." Hiccup said, gesturing to Fishlegs and Astrid.
"And it's not valid to you?" Timber asked.
"Uh, the leg?"
"Oh, yeah, right. Sorry, it's been a while since you guys have visited." Timber apologized.
"Nah, it's alright, and we're happy to babysit for you!" Hiccup said.
"Good, good. Timber and I leave for the Crystal Empire tomorrow morning, so we need to get packed. But we should warn you, alicorn foals are not like any normal foals, or babies in your case, they can have super-crys, magical surges that destroy, they normally fly and teleport in totally different directions, it's crazy."
"Eh, sounds similar to a baby dragon." Astrid said.
"Right, right. Any who, we should introduce you to the triplets." Twilight said.
"Please, do. I'm excited to finally see more of this species!" Fishlegs said.
Everybody, and pony, in the room turned to look at Fishlegs.
"What?" he asked.
"Fishlegs, remember when I told you to be careful about what you say here?" Astrid whispered.
"Yeah?"
"Well, we don't call each other species."
"Oh, whoops. I am, I'm terribly sorry, Mrs. Sparkle, why don't I just find something to eat, do you have any yak?" Fishlegs asked, making Astrid face palm.
"Fishlegs! These are horses er- ponies, they don't eat meat, they're actually quite offended when we mention stuff like that." Hiccup said.
"I'm so sorry, maybe we could um, I'm sorry."
"Ahem, yes, I'll-I'll go get the triplets now." Twilight said as she walked upstairs.
"So, do you like trees?" Fishlegs asked Timber.
"And don't forget about Aurora's special time! We'll be back in a few days." Twilight said as she and Timber were heading out.
"Don't worry, we got this." Hiccup said.
"Okay! Bye! Be careful! Don't let the triplets near the kitchen!" Twilight yelled as Timber dragged her to the train station.
"Yeah, we totally got this." Astrid said.
