A house at the end of a street
There once was a house,
At the end of a street.
A small, innocent little girl named Sophie O' Streisand.
She was a young, fragile seven year old girl, with psychotic parents.
She did not have many friends.
In fact, she did not have any friends at all. The other kids thought that she weird,
And a freak.
One day, a fire broke out in little Sophie's house
The Streisand parents were able to make it out, but their daughter Sophie,
Had gotten locked in her room, and was burned alive.
But what was unknown to the others,
Was that Sophie's soul, along with her spirit, was trapped inside of her house,
Awaiting for someone to save her from the hell that she was trapped in...
But no one ever came to her.
No one had even noticed that she was gone...
She was not even important enough... for her own parents.
Sophie would not give in. She would not rest in peace.
She was cursed.
Cursed to forever be trapped inside of her home,
Awaiting the day that someone would come for her, help her, and guide her... into the light.
The gears of the Canterlot High School bus shifted loudly, as it drove foreword to it's destination. The over rising conversations of students grew louder and louder by the minute. Some students stayed quit, some students took naps, and some students were playing on their 3DS's, as their teachers filled out paper of such. It had been a long wait for the students, what with being picked up at 6 A.M. in the morning, and to still be driving through 12 P.M. Not many of them could hold in all their excitement...
"Thisisgoingtobesomuchfun, isn'tthisgoingtobefun, thisgoingtobesomuchFUN!" Pinkie Pie happily cheered, trying to still keep her bottom on the seat.
After a whole other hour of waiting patiently on the bus, the bus driver looked to his right, taking a sharp turn into a large oldish looking neighborhood. He drove down the neighborhood for about a minute, then spotted a big black and dark red house. He turned the wheel, turning the bus along with it, to his left and into the driveway, parking it. Principal Celestia glanced out a window and smiled. She stood up slowly walking towards the exit to the bus. Putting one arm up, she announced...
"ATTENTION STUDENTS!?"
Everyone was instantly silent, except for a few giggles coming the back the bus.
"WE"RE HERE!" She informed them in a sing-songy voice.
The students all cheered, grabbing their luggage from above their heads, putting their 3DS's away, and then walking down the aisle. The bus driver pulled a handle, allowing the principal to get out first. Bringing a clipboard with her, along her bag, she stepped to the left side of the doors to take attendance. As she let the students pile out of the bus, she called out their names as they did so.
"Flash?"
"Here."
"Sunset Shimmer?"
"Here!"
"Lyra... and... and- and Bon-bon?"
"Here!" The two girls said in perfect unison, walking out of the bus, arms locked.
Under her breath, the principle quietly said to herself,
"Strange strange girls."
She continued calling out for students by name, and crossing them off on her clipboard.
"Ditsy... Do?"
"I'm over here." Derpy was laying on the cold, wet grass, waving at the principle.
"M'kay."
"Octavia Melody?"
"Hello!"
"Vinyl Scratch?"
The DJ gave her teacher a thumbs up, still not speaking.
"Twilight Sparkle?"
"Here!"
"Rainbow Dash?"
"At your service ma'am!"
Rainbow Dash appeared before Principal Celestia, holding onto Fluttershy's hand. The principle smiled at Dash, putting a hand on her back, and lightly pushing her forwards.
"Rarity?"
"Right here!" Rarity put her hand up in the air, feeling like a free little girl that had just finished her time at work, and was free to go back home.
"Applejack?"
"Here!"
The principle called out a few other names, and letting the other teachers and chaperones, (Cheerilee, Discord and Timber), wonder out of the bus. As she finished crossing of the rest of the names, Discord leaned towards her and kissed the top of her head. She smiled reading off the last name that was left on her attendance...
"Snowdrop?"
The principle waited a few moments for Snowdrop to come out of the bus. She knew that she had a hard time getting in and out of places fast. But she could not blame her. The child was blind. Snowdrop could only see darkness and darkness alone. But she was a miracle when it came to hearing things. It might take Snowdrop a while to get in and out of places... but she had the ears of a bat... at least... the hearing of one.
The principle called out for her again.
"Snowdrop?"
No one came out. Principal Celestia glanced up from her clipboard, not being able to see the small child walk out. But a few moments later, Gloriosa walked holding Snowdrop, who was fast asleep, her head resting on her back.
"Sorry! Took awhile for me to notice! Poor girl must've passed out while we we're driving three hours ago."
"It's alright!" The principle assured her. "just let her sleep for as long as she needs to."
Gloriosa turned around and walked towards the big house before the students and her. The kids all stared up at the old old house, that had seemed to be abandoned.
"Are you sure this is the place that we should be staying at?" Sunset Shimmer asked.
"Yes Sunset Shimmer," The principle answered, searching for her keys, finding them moments later. "This is the place!"
She slipped the key into lock and turned it to the right. She heard a click and turned the door. The door slowly opened with a loud creaking sound. She entered the building stepping aside, allowing her students to enter. They all looked around in curiosity. The house was big. No joke there. It had lots of space, rooms and bathrooms for everyone.
"I'm starting to understand why the teachers are renting this place for the field trip." Sunset commented. Pinkie Pie sprang up from behind her, cartwheeling her way around one of the living rooms.
"Is it because it has lots of cool space, and looks old timey, and red, and black, and looks like that one house from that one movie!"
"What movie was that again?" Rainbow asked.
"Don’t know Dashie!" Pinkie sprang up in her face. "Probably because it’s so much fuuuuuuuuuuuuun!"
"Alright kids!" The principal informed the kids of where to go next.
"Girls and boys will get their own rooms and floor. Girls, you get the third floor, and guys you will get the fourth floor. Does that sound okay?"
"Sounds great!" Scootaloo commented.
"Okay, uhhh... you can all now just go to your floors, pick a room, a bed, and start unpacking and unwinding."
The kids quickly rushed to the stairs, the girls heading to the third floor, and the boys went to the fourth.
Except for one of the boys.
Flash Sentry, had decided to explore around the house before finding a room and unpacking. The first thing that he came across... was a small wooden door by the right staircase, that lead down to a certain part of the house, that he was not supposed to be in. He glanced around the room, checking to make sure that no one was watching him. All of the other kids were busy finding rooms and settling in, and the teachers and chaperones, (including Snowdrop asleep on Gloriosa's shoulder), were all piled outside. No one was watching him.
Flash quietly turned the doorknob and the door , and pushed on the door. He did not expect the door to actually open. But once it had opened, Flash found a small, narrow staircase, leading into a dark room, with nothing but a small light coming from it's small, rectangular windows, revealing dust and small spider webs. Curiosity pulling him in, Flash slowly walked down the steps, and into what had seemed to be a...
"Basement? Wow! This place really is old!"
Unfortunately, what he was saying was saying was true. There were cobwebs and spiders everywhere. The whole room was was old and had seemed to be falling apart. It was completely empty.
But there was one object in the middle of the room, that caught the immature young boy's eye.
It was... a book. A dusty old black book on a fancy black stand. Flash slowly walked towards it. He examined the book for a few seconds, before opening it to the first page.
DO NOT READ ALOUD! Was written in big capital letters on the first two pages. Flash scoffed. He thought that this was all a bunch of-
"Bullshit!"
But as he continued reading the warnings, he suddenly got chills on his spine. He had skipped through a couple of pages, but saw few little words that were easy to read for him. He stopped and began to read what the page had to offer. He read it... aloud.
"Little child, down the well,
Little child, save her from hell.
Little child, watch and see,
I give a chance to roam free.
Little child, you may kill those you wish,
In order to come away, from your abyss.
Hurt who you want little child,
For in this day, I unleash you, onto the living, so be very mild.
Possess who you like,
And kill those, who stay at night.
Little child, find who you are,
Little child, cursed with scares.
Little child, you have come to be,
Now unleash your wrath, for you are now... free."
The floor began to shake underneath Flash's feet, the candles on the stand clanked against the glasses. He closed the book, quickly grabbing it and running back up the stairs. Vines began to grow around the perch where the book had been. They tried to wrap their thorns around it, only... the book was gone. There was a small shrieking sound, coming from the basement, but did not seem to leave the basement. To Flash Sentry's ears.
Gloriosa was carrying Snowdrop into one of the rooms on the fifth floor, which was the floor that the teachers would be sleeping on. She felt Snowdrop start to fidget and moan on her shoulder.
She thought that she was just trying to wake up, but Snowdrop started to kick and squeal on the camp director's shoulder, her eyes still closed. Gloriosa set her down on a bed in the room, trying to shake her, to wake her up.
"Snowdrop!? Wake up Snowdrop! You need to wake up!"
Snowdrop stopped moving for a moment... and then...
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"
After the long, horrifying scream of the blind, she was instantly quiet calm and... asleep.
