YGO-EQG 9.5- Alternate Endgame

by HorribleFrenRen
Burst Stream lives the good life. He has two girlfriends, some of the best friends a guy could ask for, and an unstoppable Duel Monsters deck. But this good life is stuck to a metaphorical bomb, and now Burst has to keep a guy away from the switch.

Please read the Yu-Gi-Oh! EQG series by Blueeyeswhitedragon0 to understand the setting and OCs. This is meant to serve as an alternate version of YGO-EQG 9's events with a different antagonist and a few plot points I felt could have happened pre-reboot.

The Ouroboros is a symbol of a dragon eating its own tail. It is often known to symbolize cycles, especially of something constantly re-creating itself. It also represents the infinite cycle of nature's endless creation and destruction, life and death, happiness and despair.

Burst Stream never thought of his life in comparison to that. He has two girlfriends, some of the best friends a guy could ask for, and is possibly the greatest Duel Monsters player of all time. Very little of his life had involved death or despair. And there was no way he would let some guy in drag bring that into it!

Warning: While this story does take place in YGO-EQG's world, it will involve some heavy stuff towards later parts of the story. Your mileage may vary, but that is why Dark tag is up (depending on how you interpret it "tragedy" tag may also fit but I won't use it since I plan on having a happy ending with everything fixed by the end).
