Twilight was sitting silently on her bed as she read through an Equestria history book. While she was reading she got a knock on her door. She groaned and got up and then she went down to see who it was. She opened the door and was greeted by Pinkie Pie. She listened to Pinkie speak to her.
"Can I come in?" Pinkie asked. Twilight stood aside and allowed Pinkie to come in. She wondered what was going on as she was confused by Pinkie just showing up at her place like that. She closed her door and Pinkie Pie sat down. Twilight turned around and spoke to Pinkie Pie to see what the problem that Pinkie had and saw if she could help her or not.
"What's going on Pinkie?" Twilight asked her friend. Pinkie looked at her and then looked at the floor. She sighed as she thought about how she should tell her friend what she was going to say. Pinkie then finished thinking about it and looked at Twilight and spoke to her about what was bothering her.
"Can I tell you something?" Pinkie Pie asked her in a nervous tone. Twilight noticed what the tone sounded like as well. Twilight didn't want Pinkie to be nervous in asking her anything so she told Pinkie Pie to just go ahead and tell her what she needed to say which put Pinkie at ease for a little bit. Pinkie breathed heavily.
"Sure. You don't need to ask Pinkie." Twilight responded. Pinkie smiled and looked at the floor. She didn't know how to say what she wanted to tell Twilight. It was tough how to decide on how to talk about it. She looked at Twilight. Twilight waited patiently. Twilight didn't mind waiting for her friend as her friend took her time to speak.
"My back hurts. It hurts a lot." Pinkie said starting to cry. Twilight gave her a concerned look. She was worried that she couldent do anything and unfortunetly she just didn't have the resources to help her. She walked up to Pinkie Pie and put a hoof on Pinkie's shoulder. She rubbed her shoulder for a bit.
"What were doing to make it hurt?" Twilight asked as she was curious. Pinkie couldn't stop crying so she was having a hard time answering Twilights question. She sniffled and wiped her tears away as Twilight watched her. She then cleared her throat and responded to Twilight while flinching from her own pain that was in her back.
"I was lifting boxes with supplies for Sugarcube Corner and strained myself and now it won't stop hurting! I shouldn't have worked by myself I should have gotten help!" Pinkie cried. Twilight thought on what she could do to help Pinkie Pie. She looked over at Pinkie who was crying softly and rubbed her head in annoyance.
Twilight couldent believe she was having to deal with this. Pinkie Pie should know that Twilight didn't have permission to do anything and plus it would put her at odds with the medical system if she did something for Pinkie so she wasn't going to take that risk and put herself in danger of questioning.
"Why can't you just go to Nurse Redheart? She has medicine there. I don't have any here. Plus I wouldn't be able to do anything as treatment is regulated by the medical professionals." Twilight told Pinkie as she didn't get why Pinkie came to her for this problem. She waited for Pinkie to respond. Pinkie shook her head.
"She's closed for today! I went over there and She was gone and her place was closed!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed. Twilight pondered on why Nurse Redheart would just take an a scheduled break like that as it wasn't like her. Twilight shook her head at her best friend and suggested another place her friend could ask.
"Go to Aloe and Lotus then they know what to do." Twilight suggested. Pinkie Pie groaned and left Twilight. Twilight rolled her eyes and closed her door. She can't believe that Pinkie would bother her with something she didn't have the authorization to do something about it. It confused her that Pinkie asked something like that.
Twilight face hoofed at what had happened. She could not believe what Pinkie had just asked her. It seemed like Pinkie just wanted to annoy her and she had no idea why she wanted to do that. She just wanted to sit down and rest with a book she could read with no more interruptions from Pinkie. She hoped that ponies would stay out of her hair
Twilight sat down and groaned while she prayed Pinkie didn't come back and bother her all over again. The only thing she could do was give Pinkie suggestions that she had but nothing else as she didn't have any authorization to treat Pinkie. So Pinkie was just going to have to go to Aloe and Lotus and ask them to fix her problem that she was having.
Pinkie should have known to ask Aloe and Lotus as those two ponies knew how to deal with that type of problem. She didn't have the authorization to deal with it as treatment was regulated by Equestria so she was unable to help which Pinkie should have been aware of but wasn't as she was distracted like always.
Twilight didn't understand Pinkie at sometimes. She wanted to rip her hair out because of Pinkies annoying request but decided against that as that would hurt and she didn't need to get that stressed over something like that so she just let it go and went on to enjoy the rest of her day. She hoped that Pinkie would feel better.
