The Equestria Chain Saw Massacre

It was a hot, summer day in Ponyville. On the road, there were five very familiar ponies. The one leading was Twilight Sparkle. Behind her was her student in learning friendship, Starlight Glimmer. The others that were joining them were Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy. The five were walking along a dirt road.

"Oh, this heat is killing me." Starlight began to complain.

"It's alright, don't worry," Twilight began," We're almost to the nearest rest stop. Just hold on. It's not that bad."

"Yes, darling," Rarity began," Here, take my hat." Rarity gave Starlight her hat to block the sun.

"Thanks." Starlight said. The group walked along. Only stopping for a moment for Fluttershy to pay respects to a dead armadillo off the road. They continued on until they reached a graveyard. But this wasn't to find a dead relative. Twilight was curious because there were detectives, and law ponies there, investigating. Twilight and the group walked into the graveyard.

"Twilight," Rarity began,"Why are we here? This is no time to be looking at the passed. Unless somepony here you know is here."

"Excuse me," Twilight asked a older stallion,"Mind if I know what's going on here?"

"Here ma'am." The older pony said as he handed her the newspaper,"Read the headline." Twilight took the paper, and began to read the front page:

GRAVE ROBBING: FOR MONEY, OR FOR PARTS?

In The cemetery of Ponyville, many graves have been reported to be dug up. Police have investigated on the strange crime, and found something that wouldn't be normally be seen at a normal grave robbing. Instead of valuables being stolen, only the head, or in some cases, the extremities being removed, and the rest of the body left in-tact. After searching more, authorities found an even stranger piece of evidence. In the cemetery, they found a ghoulish sculpture made of parts of decaying ponies. No suspects captured or arrested, and more info will be given as the investigation continues.

"Let me see that." Applejack quickly said afer reading the headline. Twilight gave the newspaper to her, and saw a stallion with a cab hooked to him. She trotted over to him, and asked him if he could give her, and her friends a ride. He agreed, and allowed them to climb in.

"Wow, imagine that," Applejack started,"What type of mad-pony would want body parts instead of something that means something."

"Probably for a Frankenpony monster," Fluttershy answered.

"Oh, please," Twilight said,"It's almost impossible to make a monster like that!"

"Hitchhiker!" Applejack yelled.

"Should I pick him up?" The cabby asked.

"Oh, please do!" Rarity yelled back,"The poor thing will faint of heat exhaustion!"

The cabby stopped next to the hitchhiking pony to let him in, then began to move when he got in with the others.
