A month has passed, as Flurry and I began to date and then, eventually came to terms with marriage. We went out to one of the best places in Canterlot and there, I proposed to her again, but with a ring that has a blue gem.

Today is the best day of my life, as bells ring at Canterlot castle and many ponies gather, including mother. I stood with Cadance and Shining Armor, and mother.

"I'm so glad my son is getting married," says mother, as she levitates a handkerchief to wipe away a tear of joy.

Cadance walks up to me and smiles.

"I'm so glad my daughter chose you to be her husband," she said. "You may not be a pony or royalty, but you are perfect."

"Thanks, mother-in-law," I said with a wink, making her chuckle.

"Diamond," said Shining Armor. "Make sure you take very good care of my daughter."

"You know I will, Mr. Armor."

Suddenly, the doors at the end of the throne room open, making everypony stand up straight and look over to see Flurry walking in wearing a long white dress, her silver crown, and a rose behind her ear. She walks along the red carpet, as her friend Twilight walks beside her wearing a blue dress, as she makes her way towards me and stands across from me.

"Wow," I said. "You are beautiful."

"And you are handsome," she replies.

"Dearly beloved," says Celestia who stands a few feet away from us. "We are gathered here today to celebrate a marriage between Flurry Heart and Diamond Grovel. Does the husband carry the rings?"

I reach into my breast pocket and pull out a small case. As I open it, two glinting matching rings shine. I pull one out and place it onto Flurry's horn, as she uses her magic to place the other ring onto my finger.

"With these rings," continued Celestia. "It is a vow that you two are to be in love for the rest of your lives. Does the bride have anything to say?"

"Diamond," said Flurry. "Never have I imagined our marriage being this perfect. Once we settle in, I want to start a family and live happily ever after."

"Aww," said Cadance, as she wipes away a tear of joy.

"And what does the husband have to say?"

"Flurry," I said. "Nothing makes me happy to be your husband. I will treat you like the princess you are and I would love to have a family with you. You would make a perfect mother to our child."

"I hereby announce you man and wife," says Celestia. "You may kiss the bride."

I place my hands onto her cheek and place my lips upon hers, as the crowd clap and cheered. As we break the kiss, I look up to her and gave out a tear of joy.

"I love you, honey," I said.

"I love you, too," she replied.
