Twilight was at home as she had nothing else to do. She wanted to just take it easy. While she was at her place there was a knock on her door. She shrugged as she got up and then walked to the door. She then stopped and opened it. She was then greeted by Rarity.
Twilight didn't mind that Rarity was over but she did wonder why she was there and she wondered what she wanted to do. She decided to find out from Rarity. Rarity wanted to ask Twilight some questions that were bothering her mind.
"What's going on?" Twilight asked Rarity was about to speak but Twilight stepped aside and allowed Rarity to walk on into her place. Rarity sat down and Twilight closed her door. Twilight then went to Rarity and sat down by her and they both talked to each other.
"Just working like usual. That's all I do now as it seems." Rarity said as she frowned. Twilight patted Rarity on the shoulder to put her at ease so that she wasn't stressed out. Twilight made them both tea and they both took the tea and started to drink it while they talked.
Twilight took another sip of her tea and looked over at Rarity. Rarity took a sip of her tea. They both put there tea down and Twilight then thought of something so she spoke to Rarity about it.
"How's Sweetie Belle doing?" Twilight asked. Rarity put her tea down with her magic and looked back at Twilight. She knew that this was the perfect excuse to ask her question. She then responded to Twilights question.
"She's alright. She's been herself and is doing excellent in school. She was also having some help fix the CMC clubhouse. How's Spike?" Rarity asked Twilight as she got an excuse to probe Twilight. Twilight smiled and responded.
"He's fine I guess." Twilight said quickly. Rarity became confused by the way Twilight answered this. She gave Twilight a skeptical look and probed Twilight.
"What do you mean you guess? You speak about him like he's not even important Twilight and I like him a lot. How is he doing?" Rarity said putting her cup down as she confronted Twilight. Twilight gave Rarity a bewildered look.
"Sorry Rarity! I didn't mean to say it like that. I just wanted to give you an okay answer." Twilight said. Rarity grew concerned and questioned her friend.
"Are you overworking him? He's a living being just like you. You know?" Rarity said. Twilight scoffed and and glared at her friend. She could not believe that Rarity would think of her like that.
"I don't overwork him! I give him breaks. He hangs out with me and the girls! What the hell are you getting at!?" Twilight exclaimed. Rarity frowned as she couldn't believe Twilight was so careless.
"Oh yeah? And what if he grows up are you going to baby him for the rest of his life?!" Rarity said arguing with Twilight as it went ugly fast. Twilight face hoofed as she couldn't stand the questioning.
"Of coarse not! He can move out whenever he damn well pleases!" Twilight said as she was upset at Rarity accusing her of stuff she wasn't doing.
"I do the work around the library to you know! He doesn't do it all the time and he can hang out with you whenever he wants! Okay?" Twilight said exasperated. Rarity smiled as she was satisfied by Twilights question.
"Good thank you for that!" Rarity said in an equally unpleasant way. Twilight rolled her eyes and got up and then she put the tea cups in the sink. She then sat back down and looked at Rarity.
"You know what your problem is Rarity? You like to make everypony miserable because your a bitch." Twilight calmly insulted. Rarity just laughed.
"That makes two of us then." Rarity shot back. The tone in the room got colder as they both argued. They both felt very bitter towards eachother. It was not pretty at all. They both glared at eachother.
"You and Pinkie Pie are both the same." Twilight insulted. Rarity shot a look at her and question Twilight.
"What the hell does that mean!? Don't you dare insult her!" Rarity spat as she didn't want Twilight picking on a helpless innocent pony like Pinkie. Twilight grinned evilly.
"Your both mentally ill." Twilight spat. Anger rose up in Rarity's chest. She stood up and shouted at her.
"Don't you even dare say that about her! She's not mentally ill! You are! You always have a fucking problem that you go on about that nopony seems to give a fuck about! Your an OCD freak Twilight. Your worse than her! Pinkie is normal your not! So fuck you!" Rarity spat. Twilights anger grew as she wanted to scream. She got louder.
"Shut the fuck up! I'm not OCD!" Twilight screamed. Rarity smirked. She had Twilight right where she wanted.
"Yes you are! You always have your books in the right order and when they are not you blame Spike! Your a slave driver as you push Spike around because your to fucking lazy to do shit by yourself! He works more than you! Your OCD because you always keep lists and you want your library nice and tidy so you can think that you are fucking perfect which your not!" Rarity ranted. Twilight screamed as she responded.
"I am fucking perfect! I'm a princess your not! So you can't say shit about me as your always acting like a slut when we go out! You speak with a Canterlot accent which pisses me off and your fucking bisexual! You hit on every mare you see! Get a room! You probably pay them to lick you in between your hind legs because you can't get anypony to love you!" Twilight yelled.
"At least I don't have a fucking hoof fetish like you! Yeah Twilight I've seen your magazines! I know your little secret so you can knock it off! No stallion wants an OCD mare who has a hoof fetish! Gross!" Rarity yelled back. Twilight pointed at her door.
"Get out!" Twilight demanded. Rarity smirked and walked out. Twilight slammed her door shut. Rarity laughed to herself as she walked away. Twilight used her magic and threw her book across the room. She screamed. Rarity continued to walk home unfazed by what happened.
When Rarity got home she thought about all that had happened. She didn't mean to insult Twilight. The conversation got negative because Rarity asked about Spike as she was worried about him and that just completely unraveled everything. She didn't want this to ruin their friendship.
She wanted to fix what happened and so did Twilight. They went to sleep. The next day they both got up and they went to go meet eachother after they had realized that they were both wrong. When they saw eachother they spoke.
"I'm sorry for insulting Pinkie Pie and being homophobic. That wasn't right. It's also not right the way I treat Spike. He can be more independent if he wants." Twilight said. Rarity nodded accepting Twilights apology.
"I'm sorry for calling you OCD that was unacceptable." Rarity said. Twilight nodded. They both hugged as they were glad that it was over. They then went back to Rarity's place and hung out together as they made up for last night.
