The Knight of Chaos

Neo lunged forward as fast as lightning. He took out many of them rather quickly. He fired chaos spears, threw punches, threw kicks, and to finish them off, he activated his chaos powers again, "CHAOS BLAST!!!", a super massive beam of energy fired out of his palms. The blast was so big, it made the shape shifting freaks panic. The ponies were incredulous. Twilight became confused, "He is using chaos to fight. Could he be one of Discords' creatures? No, he's using chaos to protect us. Could he be... no, could it truely be him? The being of ancient lore? Could this guy really be... The Knight of Chaos?"

She wasn't sure at the moment. She decided to tell Princess Celestia about it later. Or, tell her now, Twilight looked at Spike, "Spike, I need you to send a letter to the princess' telling her to meet us here." "Why, Twilight?" "Because they need to see this.", Twilight gestured towards the fight. Spike nodded, pulled a piece of paper and a quill with ink out of Pinkie's mane, and began writing.

Back at the fight, Neo was starting to lose energy. His moves weren't as fast as before. This concerned the ponies and young dragon. Now, it was the Changlings turn to bash him around. But, he wouldn't be having any of that. With so much of his power drained, he had no choice but to use one of his last resorts. Spike had sent the letter a few minutes ago, and the princess' arrived just in time to hear Neo say, "My energy is almost gone. I hardly have enough to keep standing. Grrr, I really wish I didn't have to do this," he said, "but I have no choice," looks at the ponies, then back to his opponent, "I can't let these get to the ponies." he stands up, wobbling a little, he extended his arms out to the side, "Mephiles the Dark, god of time, I release you, please, finish what I started!" Neos body shined, and when the light dimmed out, standing in front of Neo, who was now on his hands and knees because he didn't have enough energy to keep himself standing, was a creature that looked sorta like Neo, but not quite. "Mephiles," the being looked at Neo, "my friend, I don't have enough energy to keep standing. Let alone keep fighting. Can I count on you to keep the ponies and the tiny Barney safe until my energy returns?" The group noticed Mephiles didn't have a mouth, but much to their surprise, he nodded, and then he spoke, "You have my word that I shall do whatever I can to make sure they are safe." "I'm counting on you, buddy." With that said, Neo's inhibitor rings returned to his wrists, and he passed out. Mephiles picked him up gently, and walked towards the ponies. "And I am counting on you to watch over him until I finish what he..." Mephiles turned around, and saw only one Changeling still standing. This one was bigger than the rest. "Hmm, who are you?" The creature cackled, "I am Chrysalis, Queen of the Changlings. I have come to stop the extermination of my children. And it seems that you shall meet your maker on this day!" Mephiles cackled, never once lifting his head to show her his face. "Wha-what is so funny?! Who are to laugh at me?!", she demanded. He started walking towards her, still staring at the ground, "I am Mephiles, Mephiles the Dark, the god of time, and... the Iblis Trigger.", he stopped in front of her, and looked up at her. When she saw his face, she screamed. He had no mouth, his scleras (the white part of the eyes) were a demonic shade of red, his irises were a slime green color, his pupils were slits like a reptiles', and to top that, he wasn't blinking. "Cannot defeat me, for I am immortal.", he began, "Go home to your hive. You are the Changling Queen, are you not?" "Yes, I am." "Then do tell, what would happen to your Changlings," he got closer to her ear, "if you never came home?" Chrysalis was afraid of Mephiles before, but now she was absolutely terrified.

Neo: Well of course she's terrified. Who wouldn't be scared after a not so subtle threat like that. Especially when it's coming from a guy like him.

Deadpool: Yeah, that threat wasn't even directed at me and I'm freaked out.

Neo: Yeah. Oh, um, this is kinda off topic. But back at the beginning of the chapter?

Bronysaurus: Yeah, what about it?

Neo: Twilight was thinking, and her thoughts mentioned a "Knight of Chaos", what is that?

Bronysaurus: You'll find out Neo, just wait and see.

Neo: Fine...

The threat echoed around her head a little. Then she growled, turned, and flew off, "Don't think you're going to defeat me, and my Changlings. There are millions of my children. We will not be stopped." Mephiles turned to the ponies. He walked up to them. Turning to Fluttershy, who was checking Neo's injuries, he said, "You do not need to check his wounds, Fluttershy." Fluttershy looked at him, and asked, "Why not?". As if to answer her question, Neo's injuries began to heal at a rapid pace. "Oh my goodness!", she said, surprised. Applejack was concerned, she turned to Mephiles, "How did you know her name was Fluttershy?" His response was this, "Me, Neo, and three other's share the same body, mind, and soul. She told Neo her name, so now me and the others know it as well." Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were stunned. "Are you truelly Mephiles?", Princess Luna asked. He nodded. Princess Celestia suddenly became serious, "Mephiles, who are these three others? What do they do?" "Dark Gia, the god of darkness, Solaris the Eternal Flame, the god of the sun, and last but not least, Chaos, the god of chaos. Why do you ask?"  Princess Luna gasped, "Four gods in one body?!" "Yes, we help him, and he helps us." Rainbow Dash was confused, "How does that ball of spikes help a god, let alone four?" "Simple. He showed us something nobody had ever shown us before." "And what was that?", Starlight asked. "True friendship, at first it was us helping him. But then we began to notice his acts of heroism weren't just random acts. And during fights, he always gave his enemy a choice. A choice to stay and die or drop their weapon, flee and live. More often than not his opponent's didn't choose to flee. He showed compassion. And he used the extra abilities we gave him to protect rather than destroy. He showed true friendship by showing us a different perspective of the world we call home." Rarity smiled, "That was beautiful." Mephiles nodded and said, "Until we meet again, new friends.", and with that, he turned into a shower black particles, sorta like the purple speckles that the Enderman in minecraft leave behind when they teleport, and fazed into Neo. Roughly ten seconds later, Neo came to. He looked around. "Did I get 'em?" The ponies giggled. Spike said, "Yeah, you got 'em." "Sweet." And he passed out again.
