The sun shined brightly over the small town of Ponyville, the birds were chirping, and ponies filled the market to spend their hard earned bits on freshly picked apples, baked goods and other everyday items. On the outskirts of Ponyville, between that and the Everfree forest, was a small little cabin inhabited by a pony who lived mostly by herself, Fluttershy. She was tending to her garden, gently humming and pulling out weeds as her ever impatient pet bunny, Angel, waited for her to finish and make his breakfast, when she felt somepony, or something watching her.
“H-hello..? Is anypony there..?” The vulnerable pony asked out, hoping she'd get a response. Besides the background of birds chirping, there was nothing but a small crunch of branches, and then a crash of glass inside her home.
She timidly walked towards the door of her home, barely able to move herself towards the door. She slowly pushed open the door, breathing heavily, and shaking, looking around.
“Maybe it's just the wind that knocked something over…” The timid pony began to calm down, before hearing a drawer slam shut, and the heavy thud of boots hit her wooden floors. She stood there, frozen in fear, air trapped in her throat wanting to escape but being unable to express it, only small, jagged, breaths being able to pass.
Someone had broken into her home. Her own home. This was impossible, she thought to herself. No one is that unkind or rude to do so, not even Discord.
The thuds grew louder, and louder, until she saw it. A bipedal creature with long hair, and a disfigured face, dressed in blood stained clothing and heavy boots, and it was holding a large kitchen knife.
The creature began walking towards her, Fluttershy trying to move, trying to run or fly away, all she could do was slowly walk back before her door slammed shut, causing her to jump and finally release a high pitched scream, as the second creature who closed the door grabbed her by the hair, and threw her at the nearest wall.
The second creature wasn't disfigured, he had similarly stained clothing, but shorter hair and a psychotic smile. Both the creatures, similar in height, walked toward her.
No one heard any of the screams that took place, that's the problem with living in an alone area, no one can hear your screams
