This story is a spin-off of Fallout Equestria: Lost

War.... war never changes.

They talk of stories about heroes of the Wasteland. Legends. Raider and Slaver banes. But, they never talk of those before the war. Before the end. Sure, they talk of the Ministry Mares, some talk of Big Mac, and they even talk of those princesses, but no one talks of those lesser ponies who were, in their communities, heroes. Brave ponies who dedicated their lives into defending their neighbors and loved ones.

This is the story of one such hero.

A mare, before the destruction of her homeland, who lived as a cop in New Oatleans Uptown. Her life was always simple. Walk her beat for a specified time then clock out, go home, and snuggle up with her husband. She had no idea how different this day would be, however...

Nor did she have any clue how different the next would be, either.
