Night Glider's navy blue wings flapped steadily and she glided for a moment, circling twice, before continuing flying towards the entrance to Canterlot Castle. She landed on the balcony in front of the entrance to Canterlot Castle. She noted that there were far more guards than ever. Almost triple the usual amount. However, when she tried to open the slightly-lilac purple double doors, which stood out against the whiteness of the brick walls, the two stallion guards standing next to it crossed the spears they were holding across the doorway in an "X", preventing the young pegasus mare from entering the castle. "HALT! No pony is allowed inside the castle unless with a letter from any of the 4 princesses!" The guard on the left told her, a gray unicorn with a white mane,  his voice sounding stern and demanding. "Why not?" Night Glider asked, sounding a little demanding. "A recent string of murder's here in Canterlot has caused the Princesses to now be protected for the safety and lives of all of Equestria!" The guard on the right, a white pegasus with a light blue mane, responded. "I need to see Princess Luna immediately! She told me herself!" Night Glider told them urgently. The guards snorted a little as if they were trying not the laugh. "Princess Luna? Princess Luna barely see's anyone, mush less a common pegasi like you!" The Unicorn guard snorted. Suddenly, a shadow loomed across Night Glider and the two guards. The guard's eye's widened, and their pupil's and irises became the size of large buttons. Night Glider turned and saw a large pegasus flying above them, right in front of the afternoon sun, with a flowing mane and tail that looked identical to Celestia's, but it was smaller, and her eyes were white and glowing. "Y-Your majesty! What are you doing out here?" The pegasus guard asked, stuttering a little. The pegasus landed in front of the guards and Night Glider. She wasn't a pegasus; she was an alicorn. A dark navy blue, with a flowing mane that looked like a starry sky, and a black crown, a black necklace thing with a white moon on it, and silver hoof shoes that royals wore. "I have come to see my old friend, sir." Princess Luna told the guard calmly, staring right into the guard's eyes. The guard gulped and smiled nervously. The guards said nothing. "Come, Night Glider, let us take a walk. I want to hear all the things that you have done since we have last seen each other." Princess Luna told Night Glider. Night Glider smiled shyly and looked at the ground a little. "Of corse, Princess."  Night Glider replied, and the two walked away into the city. "So, why are there so many guards, Princess?" Night Glider asked, as the two walked the streets of Canterlot, which were now deserted. Princess Luna sighed. "There have been many murders here. There's next to no evidence aside from the bodies, and the bodies are torn up to the point of being almost unrecognizable." "How many murder's have there been?" Night Glider asked. Princess Luna suddenly looked very sad. "12. And all have come from my sister's very close circle of common pony friends," Princess Luna sighed, "I suspect that someone is trying to send a message to either my sister, all the ponies of equestria, or both." "What do you mean?" Night Glider asked, confused. "What I mean is that someone possibly might MURDER my sister." Princess Luna sighed.
