"My goodness,” the boy said as he slammed his head for the 20th time on the 15th textbook and 846th note of the day on his desk. He turned his head to the side to see that his coffee maker and mug have run out of coffee and at the bottom of his desk were stacks of books on either side that were the length of distance between his desk and the walls next to it and the height of his desk.
He sighed and looked around his well-kept room, thanks to learning about housekeeping at a very early age. He saw awards, certificates, and medals hanging on the walls and trophies almost falling off his shelves and cabinets for being overcrowded with other trophies. His family always told him to smile when he looks at his achievements because they said it was because of his hard work, prosperity and determination that he achieved them, but in reality it was because his family forced him to.
He had a tyrant for a father, a dictator for a mother and family relatives that were all like the two. He can see why they married each other, they compliment each other so well. They are both successful due to lying, cheating and gambling. Hell, they even gambled my life one time, and in time they became one of most powerful throughout the country.
His father was a very wealthy businessman since he owns every business in the state due to him either buying the corporation, stealing it from the C.E.O. by blackmailing or winning it in a bet that he always rigged and for some reason he was never caught by people in the law or out of the law even though he did hundreds of times, it’s not very surprising that he did it in the span of 2 years and 4 months.
His mother is Mr. Ravorn’s informant, she has her own division information-gathering employees such as hackers, gangsters and other people in and out of the law. This is how he gets information on how people would play in bets and rig them or find something to blackmail them. Also, if there are any new ideas or inventions that are not in any of their businesses and catches their eyes, she has sex with them to steal their ideas, if his father’s methods wouldn’t work, and brand their ideas with her name.
His relatives were the same because they were all like his parents but with different faces and builds. None of them ever showed any love or care for him when he was younger all because he said that he didn’t want to be a part of the “family business” anymore. He can still remember the day when he said he wanted to quit, and he was just 9 years old.
Ten years ago, the father had called on his son, “Hey son, could you come here for a second?”
“Hey dad, anything you need?” he asked as he walked towards his father.
“Listen son,” he said with a stern look, “When I die, someone has to take over the family business and I don’t trust any body with my business than you”.
“Woah dad, I - I get what you’re saying but I’m… only 9. I don’t know if I’m ready for that kind of responsibility yet” the boy said with confusion.
“Ah yes, that’s why I asked you now. So that you can start learning at an early age on how to run our business” his father reassured him.
“Ummmm… Okay, I guess. I mean with your guidance I’m sure I can do it, right dad? The boy asked.
His father laughed “Don’t worry son, I’ll always guide you,” his father said with a grin as he patted the boy on his back.
“Thanks dad” the boy said as he hugged his father as his father did the same action.
“Dad, I’m sorry but I don’t want to do this anymore,” the boy said to his father, only seven months later.
“Why… not?” his father asked, slowly getting agitated.
“I - I think this is wrong, You’re teaching me to steal, lie and cheat. If this is what you did to create your “business” then I don’t want any part of it,” the boy explained.
“Son remember what I said? That I don’t trust anyone except you? Did you forget?” his father said raising his voice and pointing his finger at his son.
“Dad I’m sorry, If I inherit the company I’ll run it my own way - fairly, like what you never did” the boy explained with courage in his voice.
His father punched him hard, almost breaking his son’s nose making fall back.
“You think that you,” he pointed at his son, “can run a better than me?!” He pointed at himself, yelling, “You have to be a fool to think otherwise!”
The boy wiped the blood from his nose “Dad please stop this, many people are either murdered or have committed suicide and they are mostly from your “business” and they’re mostly CEOs of the companies you own” the boy pleaded as he stood up again
“YOU should know that in running a business, the employees must keep up on how their bosses treat them and if they can’t handle it or be insubordinate, they can all die. After all it’s not my problem” his father said.
“Dad please, you have to stop this, what will you say when the news press asks about their families, you’ll be responsible for all of them”.
“So? I’ll just say the same thing like with all the others: your father, mother, sibling or whatever has died and I’m so sorry so I will give you the money for you to get a job” his father asked as if he already knew this.
“But dad -” the boy barely said as his father punched him in the guts, knocking out all the air in the boy’s lungs making him fall to the ground again
“You are my son and if you don’t want run the business, then I have something better for you to do” he said with a smirk on his mouth
Now he’s here, locked in his giant room studying non-stop on various subjects. His father said that if he can’t let his son run the “business” then he made him study hard so that his son will be remembered as the “The prodigy of Da Vinci” or so he says due to his unnatural ability to understand, remember and apply any knowledge he acquires. He’s been locked in this giant room for 10 years, He only went to school if there’s a chance to win an award, tests or exams to do or projects or homeworks to submit but most of the time he’s self taught, he learned how to play every instrument and every martial art all by himself and all his meals were sent to his room through a large hatch on the door.
Other times he went out when people of high status ,like his family, went out to gatherings and they needed free entertainment like an emcee, musician, or performer. It was fun at sometimes but at the end of the party his family would criticize him on anything they thought was wrong and physically hurt him, each of them taking a turn even taking more doing more than just five punches to his body.
Even in greedy times, his family would allow the boy to be the plaything of other people, even the plaything of his family members from the physical pain of being a human target and test subject for drugs to the mental and emotional scarring of being raped gruesomely by both men and women repeatedly all to be relieved from their stress of keeping the business from falling apart.
The fact that he was still alive after nearly dying so many times at the hands of his own family members was a curse by itself. That and they had hidden cameras watching his every move from inside the room and they even chained his arms and feet on a motorized chain hidden behind a steel wall to drug him in case they want to transport him or stop him from escaping, but he never gave up trying and this time it will work, besides the only reason why he’s still alive is because he’s been giving ideas to his father and mother about ways to improve their business, blueprints of machines that help mankind in any way and research papers about cures to diseases that they brand with their name. In fact, he’s mostly the reason for their success.
Suddenly his father barged in wearing his dress shirt and an undone tie, dress pants and dirty shoes showing that he came from a hard day of work.
“Hello you Coccydynia, I’ve got a summit to attend to and they need musicians and since they’re so expensive to get, I’ll get my free bastard of a son okay,” the father said as if the boy didn’t have a choice.

Then suddenly his door abruptly opened. The boy looked and saw his uncle wearing his army general uniform
“probably getting ready for the summit, so how long do I have to get ready?” the boy thought as his uncle walked towards him with a cheeky grin plastered on his face.
His uncle was carrying chains with bindings, getting ready to chain the boy up so that he doesn’t escape and just searches for the violin in the attic. The boy’s uncle pulled him by the hair, bringing him up and punched him in the stomach making him crouch down in pain. His uncle unlocked the bindings from the motors, he kneeled next to him, he was about to grab the boy until the boy punched him in the face sending him back in pain, he pinned his uncle down by sitting on his stomach and checked his coat pockets until he found his phone and his large pocket knife. The boy hand-chopped the side of his neck and started cutting off his thumb, thankfully his knife had sharp teeth. It took three minutes and thankfully his uncle didn’t wake up, he stood up and dashed right out of the room.
His plan was to escape through the ventilation system because that can lead to the basement where there should be many exit points that can lead to the outside world and thankfully his uncle came into his room with his phone. Phones from his family members act as keys to anything around the house from the doors to the vent system. He knew which way to go since he escaped many times before and mapped out the mansion in his head in fact, he even practiced taking down guards while he was out but he couldn’t steal any devices because they have trackers in them.
“Its Mr. Ravorn’s boy! get everyone now!” he heard a guard yell, afterwards many footsteps could be heard heading towards his direction. He ran as fast as he could towards one of the nearest ventilation shafts he remembered when he was younger and the other times he tried escaping.
“Okay. Just need to make a right here and the vent should be down the hall on the right” the boy thought
“There he is!” the boy turned to see who yelled. The yell came from one of the three guards wearing suits firing taser guns at him from down the hall. He did his best looking back and judging the trajectory of each gun to dodge every prong they shoot at him.
After being nearly shot many times he finally made it to the vent. He yanked it open and fell inside, sliding all the way down until he reached the bottom of the vent, which broke under his weight and force of landing. He stood up and looked around, he reached the basement garage, more specifically, the parts storage room since his family didn’t like to wait for their cars to be repaired by car shops, instead they have their own mechanics in the house, more specifically, a few relatives who graduated with a degree in robotic engineering who happens to own every business related to machinery from robots to appliances which include car manufacturing.
He turned on the phone using his uncle’s thumb, opened the schematics, so that he knew the wiring of the cameras and sensors to be deactivated, and blueprints, so that he can find the plumbing routes or hidden areas, of the basement, he scanned the map and settled to go to the carwash section of the repair shop because it had metal grates on the floor where the water would flow down. He had to hurry because the guards know that he has his uncle’s phone because they either found the unconscious body of his uncle with his right thumb sliced off or the checked their control tablets and noticed that his uncle’s phone was on and moving in the basement, either way he was tracked and screwed. But before he went he moved over to one of the shelves and got a few bolts and a hammer.
After a few minutes of sprinting he made it to the different repair shops of different car manufactures for his family members’ cars. He started going to the carwash section until he started hearing multiple footsteps coming from different directions. He opened the camera feeds to the three entrances of the shop and saw many guards. He quickly hid behind a car and used the camera feeds to watch their movements, before he did anything he used his uncle’s authorization code to switch off the the camera feeds of the guards terminals and control tablets.
He studied the layout of the garage, twenty garages with ten garages on both sides labeled R1 - R10 on the right and L1- L10 on the left, he was in garage R10, the size of each garage was twenty feet x forty feet since they have big cars and needed space for the tools they need or took out of the storage room, a three feet thick wall between garages, twenty feet of drivable space across garages, two large entrance and exit path on both sides, on the left leads to the garage and and on the right leads to the carwash and a stairwell in the middle of both paths, and one on both sides in the garage.
He watched their movements through the phone and saw two guards approaching his location cautiously, he waited when they were close and grabbed a few bolts and threw it at the garage R9 on the left around 80 feet away in a diagonal direction causing all the guards to look at the cause of the noise. Being fast he ran to the two guards and hit the sides of their necks, knocking them out and dragged one to the opposite garage. He took the guard’s stun guns, extra cartridges, polyester fabric coat and flashlight and kept a look-out for the guards, who seem to be very cautious around him due to the fact he knocked them out more than thrice before.
“I have a taser gun and a flashlight, I could make a dash for it” he thought to himself “But the lights are controlled by heat sensors” meaning that if he turns off the lights remotely, the sensors will pick up his heat and turn back on making him a target for the remaining guards.
“I could do a black-out” he thought again, “but the backup generators will kick in, plus it’s used as a defensive measure” meaning that if he uses a blackout, it means that one of the members of the family has spotted a thief stealing or the main frame found someone hacking, it will make the house go on lock-down and the house and the main frame go on high alert, blocking all paths and creating defensive and offensive procedures in every nook and cranny of the house, physically and cybernetically.
He looked at the cameras again and and saw about ten guards left all behind cars and walls and slowly advancing. He gave them something to do, he opened his uncle’s Mustang, which was in garage R5, making it create a sound which only some of them looked, taking his chances he quietly ran to the second adjacent garage R8, passing through a guard hidden in garage L9.
“Two down, one passed,” he reminded himself.
He saw two guards moving towards the garage he’s in, he moved under the and watched as both guards went to both sides of the truck he’s under. They both went to the back and he did a swift kick to their feet, from underneath the truck causing them both two fall, using both his taser guns he shot both of them on the neck making a sound. He checked the cameras and all the guards were converging on him, he reloaded his stun guns and prepared himself.
Once most of them were around the car he switched off the lights, crawled out of the car and ran to the carwash section. Once he was a good 50 meters away from the guards the lights came back on and saw three guards coming out of the garages near the entrance of the carwash, moving fast he drew his stun guns, aimed them in a 20 degree angle, for a wide spread shot which could lead to neuromuscular incapacitation, and shot both guards with his two stun guns on each hand, then let go of one stun gun and drew his uncle’s pocket knife and threw it at the third guard’s leg making him fall in pain.
He entered the carwash section and quickly used the phone to shut the gate but only to realize that he’s been blocked, suddenly the gate closed shut and something fell in front of him, he looked down and saw a flash of light and heard a deafening sound and fell back. He tried standing up but he felt a sudden pain on his neck and fell unconscious.
“Sir! Sir! Sir!, Wake up sir!” a guard shouted
The uncle woke up from the shaking and shouting. He felt pain in his forehead, neck and thumb, he opened his eyes to see a guard next to him.
“Ugh, my head… and thumb” the uncle groaned, “where’s the…”
“He’s alright! just missing his right thumb!” the guard yelled
“My… thumb?” the uncle thought, as he looked down to see a portion of his hand bandaged where his thumb used to be.
The uncle shot up and raised his hand to eye-level and saw his right thumb missing.
Where the hell is my thumb!?” he asked the guard
“Sir, It may have been your nephew who-” the guard explained until he was cut off
“Him! Where is he!?” he asked the guard
“We don’t know sir, we’re currently looking for him, he escaped through the vents 5 minutes ago” the guard explained
“The vents?” he asked as he reached into his coat pocket only to find out that his phone and knife were missing.
“Track and block my phone from every electronic device in the mansion!” he ordered the guard
“Yes sir!” the guard saluted and left the room
“If he went into the vents, that means he’s leaving through the…” he thought and sprinted towards the part of the mansion where he could escape through.
He didn’t panic, instead he thought of the different possibilities. The boy has his phone so he has access to every electronic in the house including the vents, we’re in the middle floors of the mansion so every guard would block every vent if he went to any floor, so he couldn’t be in any floor of the mansion.
If to the roof then he could take down every guard since they’re spread out and there’s cover, he could steal the helicopter since it’s bulletproof but we can deactivate it so he wouldn’t take the chopper, but if were to rappel down and sneak into the garden but the guard dogs would just hunt him and alert the guards, and he could outrun them but then the phone would be blocked so he won’t be able to deactivate the electric fence, so the roof is out of the question.
If he’s in the basement, there would be no guards there, especially in the parts storage room in the basement since it would straight down from the nearest vent from here, plus he could make it to the carwash section where there are no electronic grills that lead to the unprotected sewers, but if guards went down there before he reaches the sewers and tried to stop him, he would take them out due to the cover and hiding places.
“The carwash section! He’s escaping through the sewers” he realized and hurried through the halls, but first he stopped a guard and asked for a flash bang which he was given, and went down the stairwell to intercept the boy.
Once the uncle got to the carwash section of the basement, he heard footsteps going towards his location, thinking it was the boy he hid behind a giant, cylindrical scrubber and waited. Once the footsteps were in the section he peaked to see the boy with his back turned to him, moving fast he went to a hand scanner and the door of the section shut, he pulled the pin of the stun grenade, threw it towards the boy and closed his eyes and covered his ears.
Once he felt the blast was over he went over to the boy, while he was blinded, and hand-chopped his neck knocking him out.
“I am going to experience the time of my life with you” the uncle said as he looked over the boy’s unconscious body.

“By the way, you already served your punishment. Your uncle had his way with you while you were asleep so you’re fine now. Also learn to play in the dark, it gives a more dramatic feel” the father said as he turned off the lights, left the room and slammed the door shut
The boy looked at himself as he knew what his father meant. It happened again and he wasn’t close to escaping, same thing happened when he tried taking the phone to call for help or jumping down from the window and using my king sized blanket as a parachute, he was never fclose to escaping but he always came back, raped by multiple people.

While he was enjoying the sound of the violin, he started to see lights through his closed eyes, he opened them and realized that there were small lights floating around him like fireflies. He stopped playing to touch them but once he stopped playing the lights disappeared.
He played the opening again, keeping a lookout for the lights, but none came out after a full minute into the song.
“Maybe it was just my mind playing” he thought to himself and closed his eyes and continued to play
But while he played, enjoying the sound of the violin, the lights appeared and he opened eyes but didn’t stop playing. He watched as lights were danced all around him, he moved his body and noticed the lights were following his movements. He danced and noticed that the lights would tail behind him. Once he was past 2 minutes of the song, all the lights gathered together in straight lines and started creating waves of light moving all around him. They all went close to his body until the lights started heading to different directions in a wave-like movement.
A third of the lights started forming into instruments, particularly drums and string instruments, and started resonating the sounds of the instruments they made. He made his way to a cello and stopped to look at it, the lights created the cello in great detail from the outlines to the look of the strings. The bow of cello was also well detailed and moved with the sounds the cello made, he went over to drums and it was very detailed, just like the cello it was very detailed in fact you can see the drums vibrate every time it created a sound.
Another third of the lights all moved close to the walls creating a background for the orchestra in his room. The lights were moving and creating floral designs on his walls reaching up to the ceiling, when he looked up he saw moving spiral designs on his ceiling creating a very hypnotising motion, he looked down and it was imitating the ceiling’s movements.
The remaining lights were following his every movements, creating an effect as if there were shadows creating a trail of lights behind him as he danced throughout the room.
When he was getting close to the ending he felt as if he was being lifted up from the air, similar to the feeling when you enter space. All around all the lights slowly brightened as he moved higher up the room. He was getting to the peak of the piece when the lights became brighter than before that he had to squint his eyes but he stilled continued playing. Once at the final notes of the piece the lights were too bright that he closed his eyes and ended the piece.
