A deal went bad, and two lives would be ruthlessly taken from it while others were forever changed. Applejack, not even ready to take on the real world, must force herself to adapt to sudden, unfavorable conditions of life after the death of her parents. However, since she is stricken with grief and anger, the young lady swears to one day defy the world by attempting to lift one of the oldest curses in the wild, wild lands known as Southern Equestria, even if it means leaving behind everything she has to do it.
