"Bon Bon, wake up!" said Llyod, hopping onto her bed. Bon Bon groaned and rolled over, but Lloyd pushed her off. Smiling, she lept up and tackled him.
"You're in for it now," she chuckled. While they tussled, Kai walked in.
"What did Lloyd do now?" He asked.
"Nothing," said Bon Bon, "but its fun to have the upper hand!"
"Guys!" Called Cole, "I made some soup and biscuts!"
"Wait up!" Called Lloyd as Bon Bon lept off him and followed Kai. Lloyd, although grown up, still seemed to maintain a kid like nature.
Cole had already set up the table, and Jay and Zane were already eating. Nya had just walked in as Kai, Bon Bon, and Lloyd came from their section of the bedrooms. Sensai sipped his now still everpresent tea, and Misako was next to him, examining some maps and notes. Bon Bon sat next to Jay, who looked up as she sat down.
"Whats up?" He asked, and pushed her biscut in front of her.
"Not much," said Bon Bon. She started to eat her biscut as a beep echoed through the Destinys Bounty. Sensai got up, and he and Misako rushed to the control room.
"It was a reminder," said Sensai, "about Lil Nelson. You ninja are supposed to grant his wish today."
"Right Sensai," answered Zane, who was already finished with breakfast. The nindroid got up and the ninja followed behind him. Bon Bon followed last. The ninja made their elemental dragons to fly to the hospital. Nya went with Kai on his fire dragon, and Bon Bon followed Cole on his earth dragon.
As the wind whipped through her hair, Bon Bon let one of her hands free from her grip around Cole, and touched the dragon. Beneath her hand, there felt nothing but cool, slightly dusty air. When she pushed her hand deeper, she felt a rocky surface, hence the dragons name, Rocky. But when she looked down, her hand had not gone through any layer to reach something solid. When Bon Bon pulled her hand back up, she felt a wave of warmth rush over her. The feeling of magic, the one place where she could experience it in this world. On dragon back.
The dragons hovered just over the street by the hospital, and when they dissappeared, the ninja and Bon Bon landed on the ground. Immediatly, a swarm of ninja fans surrounded them, begging for the slightest glimps, touch, or autograph from the ninja. Many people still covered Bon Bon, but they were much calmer. It always seemed that way, the ninja in the spotlight and Bon Bon second, ish. Not that it mattered to her. She didn't mind having the ninja in the spotlight.
When they reached the hospital room Lil Nelson was in, a small kid in a purple ninja gi sitting a wheelchair rushed up to them.
"It's so cool to finally meet you!" He said, "My names Lil Nelson,"
As the rest of the time went on, Bon Bon answered the kids questions along with the ninja, and showed off her moves. The little kids were too cute, it was hard to resist. By evening time, there were still fans hanging around by the base of the hospital. Lil Nelson showed them a quiker route to get out by, the roof.
When they mounted the dragons, Bon Bon sighed.
"Its such a nice place here," she said, "much different from where I come from,"
"Except when theres Chens Island, or Mauro," said Lloyd.
"Or any other villain we faced," added Nya.
Suddenly, a piece of paper tied in a ribbon smacked Bon Bon in the face.
"What is it?" Asked Nya, who saw it happen.
"Well," said Bon Bon, looking at the scroll. Her finger glazed over some gold lettering. As she read it, she gasped in suprise.
"Its addressed," she said, "to me,"
Back at Destinys Bounty, Bon Bon had the letter layed out on a table. The whole thing was written in cursive and gold. The letter itself sparkled as though covered in magic.
"Whats it say?" Asked Cole.
Bon Bon took the letter and read it alloud.
Dear Bon Bon,
I write to you in a time of crisis, and of great fortune. I have learned of you going to this new land, but I must warn you. A great threat from Equestria has found a way here, and is more powerful than ever. Queen Chrysilus of the changlings has been consumed by the nightmare forces, the same ones who took over Luna. I ask you to take great caution, but I also must give you this message. You and the other girls you came here with are the new worlds mane 6. Their elements of Harmony. You will know who is which element, and you alone can defeat Nightmare Chrysilus. Tell your new friends my goodwill, but tell no one else about Chrysilus. They must only know when the time is right.

"Oh my god," said Bon Bon, "This is really bad."
"What do they mean by elements of harmony?" Asked Kai.
"Sit down," said Bon Bon, "I'll tell you evrything."
The Start to an Adventure
1 1/2 years earlier
Bon Bon sat on the park bench. She had only been in this strange new world for a couple days, and although there were lots of cool things, it just wasn't the same.
A ringing sound caught her attention. Bon Bon looked over and saw a man pulling a ladies purse from her.
"Hey!" Said Bon Bon. She rushed over and punched the guy. Aftr grabbing the womens purse, she gave him one more kick to the chest and handed the lady her purse.
"Thank you miss," said the woman.
"Youre welcome," Bon Bon started out of the park. Suddenly, 4 young men leaped in front of her. They all looked like they were cosplaying as some character. "Can I help you?"
"What you did back there," said one in red, "was awesome."
"Yeah!" Said one in blue, "You have to tell us where you learned that!"
"Its better if I don't tell you," said Bon Bon, "You wouldn't understand,"
"What are you even wearing?" Asked one who was wearing black.
"That was rude," said the final man in green.
"Its something they wear where I came from," said Bon Bon, "and I want to find a way back."
"Well you look hungry. Come back to Destinys Bounty, and we'll get you something," said the red one, "I'm Kai by the way."
As they walked to the Destinys Bounty, Bon Bon learned all of their names, and told them hers. However, she did leave out the part about Equestria. She didn't trust them completly as loyal friends yet.
For dinner, the 4 boys, along with 2 older men, 1 older women, and a girl, were having oatmeal. Having oats as a normal staple in Equestria, Bon Bon enjoyed the new food, and answered their questions as vaugly as possible.
It happened almost without her realizing, but Bon Bon then became part of their team. For a time, they were partially split apart, but the 4 of the men, along with her, met at a Chen's noodlehouse a month later.
"You guys," said Lloyd, "We can't just stay apart because we lost one friend. We can still fight bad guys."
Suddenly, 3 men with purple tatoos and what was considered emo clothing walked into the noodlehouse. They went over to the cashier and made some hand gestures, as though they were demanding something. The cashier immediatly handed over the money in the register, but as the men were about to leave, Jay walked over to them.
"Hey," he said, "What are you leaving for? The party just started!" Jay kicked the money bag out of the man's hand and placed it on the counter. He then continued to fight the men, who attacked him, and the 3 other ninja joined the fight. By the end of it, the 3 men escaped out the back door, and Bon Bon rushed to follow them. When she got outside, however, the strange men were gone.
"What happened? Where are they?" Kai wondered aloud.
"Uh, you might wanna look at this," said Cole. He pointed to a piece of paper pinned to a wall with a knife. Something appeared to be written on it, but it was written in Ninjago dilect, and Bon Bon let Lloyd take the lead on reading it.
"If you want to see Zane," Lloyd read, "then go to the shipping dock at 12, or you'll never see him again." Lloyd sqinted at the note, then turned to his pals.
"Are these fortune cookies?" Said Cole, pointing to a plate by the paper. It had 4 fortune cookies. On each little piece of paper, it read "You are invited to the Tournament of Elements"
"We need to find Zane," said Jay, "I guess we're going to this Tournament."
"I'm coming with you," said Bon Bon, "I might help."
"I guess," said Lloyd, "But we have to prepare, and we can't let anyone know."
"Alright," said Kai, "Lets do this."
By the time they reached the docks, the moon almost seemed as though it was setting. Many other people stood around, and they all seemed to be dressed in hoodies and strange clothes.
"Lloyd!" Bon Bon turned and saw Garmadon going up to his son.
"Dad? What are you doing here?" Asked Lloyd. His father went up to him and whispered in his ear. The ninja overheard, but to Bon Bon, it sounded like jibberish. As they started to board a red, old style paddleboat, Bon Bon received many stares from the other people.
"Uh guys? I'm gonna go over there," she said.
"Sure," said Kai, "whos he?" He asked Garmadon, pointing at a man in white with red glasses.
Bon Bon walked over to the edge of the ship and looked over the edge.
I hope they know I'm a true friend, they don't seem to think I'm loyal, thought Bon Bon. As some more time passed, she looked at her reflection in the water. As she stared, a place on top of her head started to glow, and ears appeared in that spot.
"Huh?" Said Bon Bon. The ears looked just like pony ears. She put her hands on top of her head to try and feel what it was, but nothing was there.
"Uh, who are you?"
Bon Bon turned around and saw a girl with red hair and an orange outfit staring at her.
"Ummm," said Bon Bon, "I'm a friend of those who have come here?" She lowered her hands from her head, hoping it didn't look too awkward.
"This isn't a place for," the girl looked her up and down, "Ordinary people like you."
She walked off, and the ninja were staring at her, and then at Bon Bon.
"Who was she?" Asked Lloyd. He looked at his father, as if expecting an answer.
"I don't know," Bon Bon answered for him. She turned to the front of the ship, where an island was coming into veiw.
"Chen's Island," breathed Garmadon.
When they got off the boat, a guy with a man ponytail pointed them towards a set of large doors adorned in snake symbols in many shades of purple. Inside the doors, a group of drummers with the same tatoos as the men at the restauraunt were playing a haunting beat.
"Keep a look out," said Garmadon, "Chen always had a trick up his sleeve,"
"Whats your beef with him anyway?" Asked Kai.
"Nothing I like to talk about," said Garmadon.
When the group of elemental fighters reached a large room inside another set of doors, they were all seated as horns started to play a tune. The man with a ponytail pointed to the celing.
"Presenting, Master Chen," he bowed and stepped to one side. A man with some crazy headwear that had two snakes and several bones on it, was lowered from the celing in a throne. The man, appearently Master Chen, had a haggard look to his face, and had a long cloak dragging behind him.
"Welcome! Welcome! Now you all must die!" Said Master Chen. All the people gasped.
"Nothing, nothing, just kidding!" Said Chen, "Welcome to the Tournament of Elements! I hope you all can understand the importance of this Tournament, because the winner gets ultimate fame, and lifetime supply of Chens noodles! But," he paused to stare at them, "no one cares about the noodles. What you want is the fame!"
"And what if we don't need fame?" Asked Bon Bon.
"Well you, my unique girl, will certainly want it. Trying to get rid of competition perhaps?" Said Chen. This comment directed several stares to Bon Bon.
"No way! Shouldn't we still be friends in the face of competition?" Said Bon Bon.
"Never mind," said Chen, giving her a blank stare, "Anyway, this is the mark of the Anacondri,"
Several kavoki pulled out a gong with a mark made of two snakes in purple to Chen.
"This mark represents the Anacondri motto, only one can remain. And that is what will happen to you." Chen took a moment to let this sink in. He then clapped his hands, "And now your rooms!"
Several kavoki came out and each one took an elemental fighter by the hand and dragged them to their rooms. The ninja and Bon Bon were on different floors.
"Stick together!" Shouted Garmadon from the room they were just in.
"Hey," said Bon Bon, turning to the ponytail man, "ponytail!"
"It is Clouse," said the man, "What is it?"
"Why do I get a room and not Garmadon?"
"Chen," said Clouse, "believes you have strong power. He knows these things, and wants you to be here. It's opptional to compete, however, because he can always get what he wants anyway."
Bon Bon was then ushered into her room, which was rather plain, with a bed, mirror, bathroom, and other basics.
"Wow," said Bon Bon, "Thanks,"
Bon Bon was sitting in her room for about 10 minutes, until Chen's voice came over a loudspeaker. She tuned out, but something at the end caught her attention.
"And you, Bon Bon, better join in the jade blade hunt." At this Bon Bon rolled her eyes. Fine, what the heck, she would. Suddenly, she heard grunts in the room above her. Bon Bon rushed to the balcony and saw Kai and the red haired girl fighting to reach a blue and gold sword. Let them fight, she couldn't join their battle. Instead, Bon Bon stepped outside her room. She looked around, and saw a jade blade laying on the ground in the hall. She rushed for it, but a foot was placed in front of her.
The foot belonged to a woman in green, with green hair and eyes. She raised her hands and a green gas came out of them. Bon Bon jumped to the side and kicked the woman from her new position. The green woman fell to the ground and cried out. Bon Bon garbbed the jade blade and ran. Several other people lept in her way, but she doged and/or punched them.
Bon Bon eventually reached a room where Master Chen was sitting.
"You can put the blade here," he said shocked, pointing to a stand with 16 slots. Bon Bon put the jade blade there, and more people rushed in with jade blades. They all looked shocked to see Bon Bon had gotton the first jade blade there. Or at her fighting skills. Or both.
By the time 15 jade blades were in the 16 slots, Bon Bon saw that the only ninja who wasn't there was Kai. She hoped that he won a jade blade, because as Garmadon said, they needed to stick together. A sudden clatter near the entrence caught Bon Bon's attention, and snapped her back into reality from the thought plauging her. Kai was standing at the door with the supposed master of metal. One of metal's hands was one the ground, and Kai was taking a jade blade out of it.
"What did you do that for?" Jay asked Kai when he put the jade blade in the slot.
"I did what I had to do to win," said Kai.
"Never think like that," sid Garmadon.
Chen came up to his feet and spread his arms.
"Master of Metal loses," said Chen. He reached over to a button on his chair and pushed it down. A trap door opened under the master of metal's feet and he fell.
The ninja, Garmadon, and Bon Bon went to the dining room for dinner. They had oatmeal, creamy biscuts, among other foods. Bon Bon took a bowl of oatmeal and a glass of water. She sat with the ninja at a booth seat. The ninja started talking, but Bon Bon just stared into her water glass. A skimpy reflection of herself started to glow. While she continued to look, the reflection grew the same pony ears as before on the boat, but more started to happen. Her hair grew longer into a ponytail, then her whole reflection shifted into a pony.
Bon Bon gasped and stood up.
"Um, I have to go!" She told the ninja. Leaping up, she ran for her room. After closing the door, she flopped on her bed. Nothing saddened her, but she couldn't help the fat tears coming out.
"Why?" She asked herself. Looking into her mirror, Bon Bon still saw the pony reflection in her mirror, "Why can't this just be about Zane?"
The sobs eventually moved her into a restful sleep.
After the next 2 days, Cole was out after a fight with Jay. They had just had a rollerskating competition, where Cammile, master of form had gotten out. They were having a dinner at a curved table in the room that they had entered on the first day. Chen had just stood up as though he was about to say something.
"It has come to my attention that there are rumers flpating about, that I am taking everyone's power," said Chen, "Well I am,"
Everyone gasped, the ninja from shock he was saying this, everyone else, including Bon Bon, from the fact that it was true. Bon Bon stood up and slammed her hands on the table.
"No!" She shouted. Everyone stopped to turn to her, "why are you doing this? And," she turned to the elemental fighters, who had just made an alliance, "we never let this get in the way when we made an allience," she started to glow, "so why now? Why can't we remain loyal?"
No sooner had she said the last word when the glow intensified. Bon Bon started to rise in the air. She felt two small things pull out of her head, and something out of her hair.when she was put down on the ground again, she realized her hair was now in a long ponytail and she had two pony ears. Just like in her reflection. Now only if she didn't turn into a pony...
"WHAT JUST HAPPENED?" Jay shouted. Everyone was staring a Bon Bon in disbelief.
"I don't know!" Bon Bon shouted back. Then it hit her like a train, "Equestria,"
The ninja, or more rather the three that remained, and Garmadon, were in Bon Bon's room, and Bon Bon was on her bed. She had just brought them here, and was ready to tell them about one thing, Equestria.
"I don't come from Ninjago," she began, "I come from a different place two dimensions away, Equestria, a land filled with," she paused, as though she was hesitant to share the information.
"What? It was filled with what?" Asked Kai.
"Ponies..." whispered Bon Bon. She turned away from Garmadon and the ninja.
"Seiriously?!" Said Lloyd. Garmadon nudged him.
Bon Bon pulled the mirror in her room closer to herself. She looked in the mirror, hoping that her ponies reflection would show up. She stared long and hard, and then her reflection started to glow. She turned and saw the ninja staring in disbelief. When Bon Bon turned back to her reflection, she saw that it had fully become a pony. The ninja and Garmadon's reflections started to warp into ponies, and Jay pushed the mirror out of the way.
"This is too weird," he said, "Way too weird!"
"I guess you believe me now," said Bon Bon, looking at the ninja.
"Y-yeah," said Lloyd. He and the others were still staring off in the distance.
Great, I wonder how long it'll take them to break out of this thought Bon Bon.
"YOU'RE A PONY?!?!"
"Guess I thought right,"
