Luna cuddles with her blankies on her bed. She hears a knock on her door.
"Come in," she says.
"Hey hey, Luna!" Stryker says cheerfully.
"Hey there, Stryker," Luna smiles.
He walks in and sits on a stool next to Luna's bed.
"I'm glad you came out alive, my proud general."
"Ehh... It was nothing... I guess," Stryker blushes, "I'm a bodyguard now... I'm just doing what I'm told by my favorite princess!"
Luna blushes.
"It's not me, is it?" she giggles.
Stryker smiles.
"Nope..."
Luna laughs and hugs Stryker.
"Of course you are, Luna," Stryker snickers.
Crono and Rigger's house, Borderlands, South of Equstria
"That... That... What am I going to do without my sister," a Changeling sobs, "He killed her and I'm going to kill Luna... WAIT!!! That's it!!! I'll kill Luna and then when Stryker is hunting for the murderer, I'll kill him when he's not expecting. I'm a genius!!! Heh heh heh heh heh..."
Luna's room, Celestia's Castle, Canterlot
Luna, who's now asleep, tosses and turns in her bed. Stryker, who watches over the princess, starts to get worried.
"Danger... Changeling... Sniper... Stryker in danger..." Luna says in her sleep.
A tear rolls down her cheek and he looks down.
"There's a Changeling sniper and I'm in danger... Luna's dreams tell the future... I'm going to die..." Stryker sighs.
Zewwwm!!! Fffffp!!!
A large bullet rips into Luna's bed, just inches from her head. Stryker quickly grabs his M200 Intervention, but reconsiders and grabs his Remington 700 with an Acog and quickly pulls a shot at a Changeling flying in the air. He misses. Stryker fires again.
Thoom!
He hits the Changeling and it spirals towards the ground.
A massive hurricane of bullets rip into Luna's bed, all missing her.
Toom! Toom! Toom! Toom! Toom! Toom!
Stryker quickly pulls up a riot shield.
Krik! Krik! Krik! Krik! Krik! Krik!
The bullets bounce everywhere. He props the shield up on folding stilts and it stands at an angled. He pulls out an Intervention and scans the area.
"Who the fuck is shooting at me?! God damnit!!!" Stryker yells.
He looks at Luna, who, strangely, is still asleep.
Krak!
He takes a shot
"This is a messy assassination plot if there is any," the Raptorian Alicorn mutters.
Krak!
He takes another.
Stryker, out of the corner of his eye, sees where the gunner is.
Krak!
Headshot. He looks at the room and sees that nothing is damaged; not even the walls or ceiling.
"What in...? How...? Wha...?" Stryker stutters.
Luna wakes up and sees the riot shield and the bullet holes in her bed.
"What happened, Stryker?" she asks.
"There was a messy assassination plot or something like that that the Changelings tried to attempt on your life, but I killed them, so hopefully there will be no more trouble," the Raptorian Alicorn says, "I'm sorry, your highness, that I made such a mess trying to defend you. If you want to punishment, I am willing to take whatever punishment you give me. I am loyal to you and I love you, Luna,, but a punishment is near nothing to me."
Luna looks at her bed.
"What the fuck did you do to my bed?!" Luna yells in shock.
Stryker rubs his foreleg.
"It wasn't me, your highness. It was the second gunner with a chaingun," Stryker says quitely.
