Cleaning House/A Surprise For Twilight

Lite was on his way to pick up Sunset at her apartment and he was driving his 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T.

The roaring sound of an original 440 Magnum engine made Lite smirk with pleasure as one hand gripped the wheel and the other on the pistol grip shifter of the white beast, he gave the Challenger a good exercise of wanting to hit it up to 110 mph, Lite shifted gears listening to the engine rumble with a tone that was music to his ears.

"I've been away from you too long girl." He purred as he cruised the back roads doing 75 mph.

Lite came to a stop sign and revved the engine, "Alright, time to give you the run you deserve." He made sure the coast was clear and perform a burnout launching the car off the line.

"YEEEEAAAHH!" He cheered as over 450 horses charged forward, "COME ON GIRL!" He encouraged the Mopar as it passed 80 mph. "90.... 95.... COME ON BABY... 100..... 108.. 109.. 110!!! YEAH! WHOO!"

"Kowalski would be proud." He sighed patting the dash.

Lite slowed down as he reached town he then stopped at McDonald's and picked up breakfast for him and Sunset, Lite was impressed how much the town had change since he's been away, so many new stores and they even renovated the mall, and one thing that was still around was the theater, Lite use to go there and see so many movies and now it's a place where some bands and comedians preform there.

Sunset sat on the stoop of her apartment building waiting for Lite, she checked her book to see if Twilight had written back, she didn't, but Sunset knows Twilight, "She's probably busy, maybe with her Princess stuff or having an adventure with her friends." she closed her book and put it back in her bag, Sunset started top think about last night's dream and began to wonder should she tell her friends about this today, but what would they think of her, what would Lite think of her, Sunset heard the sound of a muscle car up the street she looked and saw Lite's Dodge Challenger, she smiled and waved as she stood up, Lite stopped on front of where she was and Sunset got in the car.

"Morning Sunset!" Lite said as she got in the front seat.

"Morning." She smiled.

Lite shifted the gear into first and drove down the street, "Hey, I got you some breakfast," He said grabbing the bag, "I wasn't sure if you ate meat or not but I got you an egg white and cheese McMuffin."

"Thank you." She replied unwrapping the sandwich and taking a bit.

"So how'd ya sleep last night?" Lite asked.

"Um... good!" She said in a tone of uncertainty.

"I only got about 6 to 7 hours of sleep last night," He said, "I was doing some maintenance last night on my house, opening the windows, taking dust covers off the furniture, running water though the pipes, getting the air ducts purged of dust." They came to a stop light waiting for it to change when a ratty lookin' black 1986 IROC Camaro stopped alongside of them, Lite turned his head to see three weird looking teens wearing diamond studded colliers, they revved their engine and gave Lite a look... they wanted to race.

"Who are those guy's?" Lite asked.

"Those are the Diamond Dogs, they are rude, mean and dirty in both smell and personality." Sunset said, they revved their engine again, "You're not gonna race them? are you?" She said nervously.

Lite revved the Challenger and gripped the steering wheel and the shifter, Sunset closed her eyes tightly as the light turned green, she then heard the sound of tires screeching and a loud roar of an engine, but she didn't feel any force from the car, she peeked her eye open and notice Lite hadn't even moved, Lite took a soft turn down another street, Sunset sighed in relief, "You really think I was gonna race those dumb dumbs?" He chuckled.

"Sort of." She said.

"Nope, I wouldn't risk getting into an accident or getting arrested for racing." He said.

They arrived at Twilight's house, Lite parked the Challenger in the driveway, they both approached the front door and was greeted by Twilight's father.

"Sunset Shimmer! Hello, how are you doing?" He greeted them.

"Doing good, we're here to pick up Twilight, my friend here wanted help cleaning his house and Twilight wanted to help." She said.

"Sure thing she's in the kitchen having breakfast." He said as he invited them in, "That your car?" He said just as Lite step inside.

"Yeah." Lite replied, "1970 Dodge Challenger R/T." He said.

"My Uncle had one of those, but his was a 73' Rallye and had a 383 in it and was Yellow, what do you got?" He asked.

"440 Magnum Six Pack, 3X2 barrel carbs, got over 450 horses in it she does." Lite said with pride.

Lite and Night Light walked toward the car to look at it, "Where did you buy it?" He asked popping the hood.

Lite didn't really want to tell him he bought it factory made, "My... dad bought it at Canterlot Chrysler in 1971, and it sat in a barn for about 20 years in good condition, she's all original too, nothin' after market."

"She's nice." He complemented.

"Thanks." He replied.

"My son love's these old classic muscle cars, he's always looking and begging me and his mother for one." He said.

"Is here?, Why don't ya bring him out here and I'll show him this." Lite suggested.

"No he's up at the the army base right now he'll be home in two weeks on leave." Night Light said.

"Ah, so your son's a troop eh?" Lite complemented.

"Captain actually." He informed.

"Sweet, I always support them troops, I knew guy that was in the army, he was in Vietnam."

"I had a family member that was killed in action in that war." He said with a frown.

"I'm sorry." Lite said with a hand on his shoulder, "I know what it's like when you loose a family member or friend in the war."

"Thanks." He said giving a small smile.

Twilight and Sunset walked down the steps with a little Purple and Green puppy, "You girl's ready to go?" He asked.

"Yup." Said Twilight.

"Hey, it was nice meeting you, Sir." He said shaking Night Light's hand.

"Hey you too, take good care of that car." He said walking away.

"Can do!" He replied.

As they got into Lite's car a voice came, "Wow, nice car!"

"Who said that?" He raised an eyebrow.

"I did!" Lite looked down to see Twilight's dog, "Hi!"

Lite's eye's went wide, "...Okay... I'm either dreaming or on drugs right now,... but did you just talk?" He asked.

"You didn't tell him?" The dog asked.

"Sorry Spike, I keep forgetting you can talk." She smirked embarrassingly.

"During the Friendship Games she opened a portal that Spike went through and somehow that gave him the ability to talk." Sunset said.

"You like keep leaving stuff out don't ya'." He said jokingly, Sunset blushed.

They stopped at the store and picked up some cleaning supplies, paint for the outside and some groceries for the house, "Look's like it might rain later today?" Lite said looking up at the gray clouds appearing in the sky.

"The weather forecast said it will tonight." Twilight replied.

Sunset called the rest of the girls and asked them for help at Lite's house, when Sunset called Rainbow Dash she immediately ran to our location. "Damn, that was fast." Sunset said surprised.

"Yeah, I decided to get here early so I can help clean up your pad." Dash said showing off like.

"Well how bout' you give the others a call and see if they want to help out." Lite asked Sunset.

"Sure." She replied.

"Okay let's head to the house." Lite said as they all climb into the Challenger, Rainbow Dash let out a awe in amusement as she got into the back seat.

"Damn, this is one badass looking Mopar." She said.

"Yeah, she's one of my favorites." Lite replied as he started it up, "I surprised you're not winded out from running that fast." He said as the pulled out of the parking lot.

"I don't know why, might be the special power or the Red Bulls I drink every day." She pondered.

"You shouldn't be drinking that stuff, there's so much sugar and frickin weird ingredients that do stuff to your body." Lite informed.

"I already had 6 this morning and..."

"SIX?!" Lite exclaimed, "Holy shit girl, those will kill you faster then cigarettes, who the hell drinks 6 Red Bulls in the morning, what ever happened to drinking coffee in the morning?"

"I'm not really a coffee person, Red Bulls give me that energy that gets me through my athletic classes." She explained.

"Well like what they say on the commercials, "Red Bull give you wings."" He said.

"Literally." Sunset added.

On the way back to the house Twilight's dog Spike found something under the seat, it was black and plastic and it had picture on it, "Hey Lite...?" Spike asked.

"Yeah Buddy?" He replied.

Whats "RIO Speedwagon?" He tried to pronounce.

"REO SPEEDWAGON!?" He replied correctly, "Let me see that." Spike handed the plastic object to Lite.

"Whats that?" Sunset asked.

"It's 8 track." Lite presented it, "Man I thought I lost this."

"Whats REO Speedwagon?" Sunset asked.

"Probably one of the best rock bands to write power ballads." Lite said putting the tape in the player.

Lite was expecting the tape to sound bad and worn out but to his surprise it played like new.

Lite lip synced thought the chorus lines while doing the drum riffs, the girls thought he was kinda funny doing that but Lite didn't mind cause it was one of their hit songs.

"This band has got some good hits it does." Dash said.

"Yeah, I saw these guys at the fairgrounds in 82', aw man the whole place was just alive with the sound of their music, the sound of their music just takes you away to a whole new world." Lite said with heart.

They made it back to Lite's house put the groceries in the cooled down fridge and got the cleaning products gathered around the house, Lite decided to get the weeds pulled while it was still daylight out.

After about 20 minutes Applejack and Pinkie Pie showed up in her truck, Lite walked up to the truck to make sure Pinkie was doing okay, Pinkie looked fine just a little settled down.

"Hey Pinkie how ya doing?" Lite asked helping her out of Applejack's truck.

"I'm fine just a little pooped from that Smartie." She said with her normal cheery self.

"That's good, just if you see anything like that in the house don't touch em' just throw 'em out, Okay?" Lite said.

"Okay." She nodded.

While they were pulling weeds outside Rarity and Fluttershy Pulled into the driveway in the Cadillac, 'Hey Rarity, how you enjoying the Caddy?" Lite asked leaning on the door of the car.

"I love it, it handles great, it ride so smooth when you drive it and it kinda big to maneuver around but I'm getting the hang of it." She said.

"That's good, maybe you should get a chauffeur to drive you around to fancy party's and stuff." Lite mentioned.

Rarity giggled at the idea, "No that won't be necessary darling, a car this vintage and classy should be handled by someone with class and beauty, namely me."

"Okay." Lite chuckled.

Rarity had brought over a few rolls of fabric to make curtains and her sewing kit to touch up some things around the house.

"Okay let group up." Lite announced, "Twilight you're in charge of cleaning the Library, Rarity you're in charge of curtains and blankets around the house, Applejack you're in charge of vacuuming, Rainbow Dash, you and Pinkie are in charge rug cleaning and dusting, Sunset you're in charge of floor polishing and Fluttershy I hope windows aren't too much for you?"

"No, that's fine, I can do windows." She replied softly.

Lite smiled at his new friends, "Thank you girls so much for helping me around here, thank you." He smiled, "Alright girls! Let get this house cleaned!"

And with team work they cleaned up Lite's house, they each did more then what they had to do, Pinkie Pie helped paint the out side of the house, Applejack helped Lite clean out the swimming pool and hot tub, Rainbow Dash found a lawn mower in the garage and like the speed of light the lawn looked new, Fluttershy finished with the window and then moved to the kitchen where she cleaned and washed the counter tops then moved onto the bathrooms, Rarity polished furniture made it look like store bought, Sunset made the floors shine like mirrors in the Crystal Empire then she went downstairs and polished all the guitars in the guitar room, Twilight dusted every nook and cranny in the Library and made it look sparkly clean, Lite went through the bar downstairs he poured out the old beer in the fridge cause it was old and flat, he went through the bar and he found a couple of roaches and a few unsmoked joints and jammed them in his pocket figured he'd save them for later.

Afterwords Lite made the girls lunch, he made them sandwiches and potato chips, and while they ate they sat out on the back patio and relaxed with Lite's homemade lemonade.

"So have you heard anything from Princess Twilight?" Lite asked Sunset.

Sunset reached into her bag and looked at her book, Still nothing, "Nope." She sighed.

"It's okay, she's probably busy, like a princess doing her thing." Lite said to her.

"Twilight, what are you doing?" She said mentally hoping she was okay.

Meanwhile Back in Equestria...

It had been about two day since Twilight discovered the journal of Lightning Bolt, she nearly spent every minute of yesterday and today reading it over and over, and she even tried to look up ponies who knew him but that was no use cause that was nearly 80 years ago and most of those ponies have probably passed, she looked through his journal looking for clues and codes if there were any links to what happened, but there was nothing, just his story.

There was a knock on the door, "Come in!" Said Twilight still reading the journal.

Spike walked in to see how his friend was doing, "Hey Twilight just wanted to see if you were hungry,... I made Nachos." Spike said with a teasing voice.

"Yeah I'll eat in a minute Spike." She said still reading.

"Twilight you've been reading that journal ever since we found it like... two and a half days ago." He informed, Twilight mind was brought back to reality to see her hair and mane was a mess and she had been eating in the same spot and it was a mess too, she even read the journal while in the bathroom.

"Oh, wow Spike, I'm sorry, I didn't realize that I was so buried in this journal that I haven't left the castle." She said in a sad tone.

"And not to mention your book that you use to communicate with Sunset Shimmer has been glowing in the corner since last night." Spike pointed to the book on the top of the mirror portal.

"Ooh, How could I have not noticed that." She said levitating the book of the portal.

"Probably cause you've been so obsessed with this journal and you haven't even slept in two days." He said with worry.

"Well it's good that Sunset has written to me, I haven't seen her in a long time." She said opening the book to the new message.

Dear Twilight.
It's been a while since we've seen each other, how have you been?, we've had a strange summer me and the girls, I've got so many things to tell you, we would like you to come here so we can tell you about the great new powers me and the girls have now, I know it sounds weird but I'll explain once we see each other, and also we made a new friend, it turns out he's from Equestria as well, and he's been here in this world for a really, really long time, His name is Lite Bolton, but his real name is Lightning Bolt, he say's he...

"WHAT!!!???"

She gasped reading the last sentence, she read the rest of the message.

Twilight's eye's began to sparkle and grow wide with shock and amazement, Twilight jump into the air flew around her library and gave a loud proximity of cute cheerful neighs.

"WHAT! WHAT! TWILIGHT, WHAT IS IT!?" Spike exclaimed.

Twilight picked up spike by the cheeks and hugged him, "HE'S ALIVE AND HE'S IN THE HUMAN WORLD WITH MY FRIEND SUNSET SHIMMER!" She cheered, "I have to go to Canterlot High!" she let go of Spike and he fell to the ground with a thud and he let out a painful groan.

Twilight got the things she needed to go to the human world, she grabbed a empty notebook to write down every thing Lightning Bolt would say to her, the cell phone that Rarity got her so she could keep in contact with the girls in the human world, she didn't waste any time giving Spike directions on what to do while she was gone.

"You got that Spike?" She asked.

"Tell all your friends and Princess Celestia where you're going and you'll be back in a few days and, water the flowers, feed Owlowisious and make sure to fix the leaky pipe in the basement, Got it!" He repeated to her.

"Good." She said putting on her pack and turning the portal on, with the whirl of the machine the portal turned on, "I'll see you later Spike." She waved as she stepped on through.

"See you Twilight." He waved back.

The Human World.
"Okay, thank you!" Said Lite getting off the phone with Com Ed about getting the internet hooked up.

"Well, what'd they say?" Dash asked.

"They said I can just go to Best Buy and buy a router and hook up to a modem and program it through a satellite, that way I don't have to use my hot spot as much." Lite explained.

"That sounds easy." She replied.

"Wanna go with me, I'm pretty sure you know most about cool electronics cause I need to get some new appliances in this house anyway." Lite asked her.

"Sure!" Her eyes lit up, Lite told Sunset what they were doing and they walked outside, "Hey," Dash spoke up, "Can we take the Camaro?"

Lite shivered at the idea, "I told you before that thing has so much power you won't be able to get you head off the head rest."

"Oh come on, PLLLEEEEEEESE?" She begged with puppy dog eyes.

Lite thought it was cute, "Okay."

"YES!" She exclaimed, Lite put the battery in it and turned the key and the Super Camaro roared to life, "HOLY SHIT! is this thing loud!" She shouted.

"Yeah I know, She has a lot of power when she wakes up from her coma." Lite said puttin' it in gear, the Camaro rolled out of the barn and down the driveway, when they got to the front gate Lite took it really easy as to not make it go to fast.

"Aw, come on Lite kick this sucker in the balls and give it all she's got." Dash pleaded.

"No I just wanna take it easy, besides I need to make sure my cars run great so that there's no problems with them." He said driving at a steady speed of 40 mph.

Meanwhile Sunset decided to pick out her new room in Lite's mansion, she decided to take the room above the dining room that had a arch window with view of the front yard, the room was big, at least a 20x25 room furnished with a dresser, a queen size bed, nightstands on each side, a big empty closet, a desk and an old TV which probably needed to be replaced with a new one, the bathroom was a sharing bathroom for the room next door, it had two sinks on one long counter, a lining closet, a private toilet, a big triangle shaped bathtub with jets and a 5x5 walk in shower.

"Wow!" She awed in excitement, "It's like staying at an expensive hotel suite." She now knew that life was getting even better after Princess Twilight saved her from her evil side and her friends showed her the real meaning of friendship.

Sunset went to the sink and splashed some water on her face then she looked at herself in the mirror, she started to think about last nights dream again, she wanted to do everything she could to make it go away but for some reason she couldn't help it, thinking of Adagio's slim body, her massive double D breast and her snake like tongue inside her pussy, she was beginning to think that she actually liked the dream she had.

Sunset's phone rang and startled her a bit, she looked at the caller ID, Twilight?

Sunset walked out of the bathroom and looked over the balcony to see Twilight cleaning a window, "Twilight why are you calling me?" She asked.

Twilight gave her a funny look, "...I'm not calling you." She said pulling out her phone which was off.

Sunset suddenly realized who was really calling her... Princess Twilight.

"HEY!" She exclaimed happily answering her phone.

"Sunset where are you!?" She asked frantically.

"I'm at that boy's house I was writing to you about." She replied.

"Oh my gosh, are you serious!?" She asked.

"Yeah, Twilight are you okay?" Sunset asked.

"Yeah! Ever since I got your message I've been excited to meet him!" She replied.

"Okay where are you I'll come get you?" She said walking down the stairs and heading for the door.

"I'm here out in front of the school, Please hurry I want to meet him so badly!" She said like Pinkie after Pixy Stix and soda.

"Okay, I'll be there soon." She replied before hanging up.

"Hey, who was that?" The human Twilight asked.

"That was Princess Twilight." She said.

"Oh... My other self is here?" She smiled in embarrassment remembering the time she met her equestrian counterpart, it was a weird afternoon for her talking to herself, she thought it was kinda cool having a another her, she thought it was like having a twin sister even though she meet her only once, she couldn't wait to see her again.

Sunset grab the keys to the Trans Am and left to go get Twilight, she had to be careful now that she was driving by herself since she nearly almost killed Lite and Twilight last night, "Okay Sunset just relax and do how you watched Lite." She sighed as she pulled out of the driveway and carefully drove towards town.

"Lets hope I can get the satellite company out to my house within a couple of days after those TV's arrive." Lite said to and Dash as they were on their way back from the store, "I think I should but myself a used car."

"Why?" Dash asked, "You got like ten of them."

"Yeah but those are classic cars with value," Lite added, "And also I think the insurance is more expensive for me to be using if I keep driving them, cause right now these cars are not insured, and I know it's against the law to drive em' without it but it's my only mode of transportation at the time."

"So what do you think you'll but for a used car?" Dash asked.

"Maybe a Jeep or a mid-sized sedan, whatever I can find, plus I'll have to find a job to keep myself busy so I'm not just going home and sitting on my ass all day,... It's not that I need money and I know I have a lot of it but, it's always nice to help out and devote yourself to the labor of work." Lite said coming to a stop light, but if I do get insurance on them, I'll have to make sure they are specially taken care of." As they sat at the stop light that black IROC Camaro pulled up along side of them, Lite looked over and gave a disappointing sigh, "Son of a bitch, not these bozos again."

"Well!" Said one of the Diamond Dogs, "Thought you could get away from us, couldn't you?" He hissed, as they revved their engine.

"Come on Lite race em'!" Dash pleaded.

"No, I don't want to that'll just end up being a bad habit and plus I don't want to get pulled over by the cops." He objected.

"What's that you don't want to race, you must be a sissy scardy pants." He insulted.

"Oh shut! up you saying that cause you have nothing better to do." Lite said back.

"If you don't race that means we'll follow you around till you do and if you still don't, we'll take your car." He snickered.

Lite looked at him with a snarl, "Like fuck you ain't, you are not getting this car."

"Then what's the problem loser? Your car too weak." He snickered.

That last one made Lite mad and the Lite looked at Dash, "Tighten your fuckin' seat belt."

"Alright!" Dash exclaimed doing so, Lite looked over at them and his Camaro let out a terrifying rev that scared the Diamond Dogs,... the race was on.

Lite gripped the steering wheel and the shifter and revved the engine as the light started to change, Lite's heart began to pound as the light turned green...

(SCREEEEEEEECH)

Like a cannon the car nearly popped a wheelie coming of the line doing a burnout, Lite was about 20 feet in front of the Dog's IROC, Rainbow Dash's head was glued to the headrest she couldn't even move, by the time he came to the next stop light Lite realized he was 4 blocks away from where they were before, it couldn't of been no less then 10 seconds ago they were that far so quickly.

"Damn!" He said trying to catch his breath.

Lite looked over at Dash who had a blank expression of thrill, "Ho...ly.... shit, That... was... AWESOME!" She exclaimed.

Lite looked in the rear view mirror to see the Diamond Dog's IROC fell apart after being blown away, "Oh shit! their car fell apart!" Lite laughed.
