The villainous villain
A sharp groan escaped a newly awoken alicorn whose eyes had been assaulted from the early morning sun, waking the sleeping form of a young dragon who just buried himself under his pillow.
“Good morning Spike, how did you sleep?” asked the sleepy alicorn as she shifted to an upright position.
“Not a good morning, need more sleep,” Spike said as he attempted to block the alicorn out with a pillow.
Jumping off the bed the groggy alicorn trotted to Spike's basket and prodded him awake, “Not now Twilight the sun isn't even past half-way, besides its way too cold this morning,” Spike said as he turned to his side.
“Alright then Spike, I'll let you sleep in for another hour but be ready to wake up then alright?” Twilight said as she trotted to the door, her hooves making a crisp clacking sound as she moved.
“Sure, sure,” Spike said nonchalantly as he tuned out the waking world, turning over in his sleep.
“Teenagers,” Twilight commented before she left teleporting her morning checklist in front of her. The lavender glow reflecting off of the crystal hallways as she read the list out loud to herself yawning every so often. “Spike refusing to wake up? Check, Make bed?... Woopies,”
Once she returned to her room and made her bed, Twilight went into the kitchen to make her morning coffee, “alright since Spike's still asleep I'm going to make my coffee, I mean how hard can it be,” Twilight mumbled as she once again teleported a list in front of her the popping sound of the teleportation ringing around the kitchen proper a little while longer than normal.

“How did you freeze coffee twilight?” Spike asked as he examined the frozen coffee.
“I didn't mean to Spike it was just too hot so I thought I could cool it down with the cool-me-down spell but,” Twilight said trailing off with a hoof at the end of her sentence.
“But you haven't used that spell since you were a unicorn, right?” Spike said questioningly.
“Yeah, look, I'm sorry to ask this early in the morning but can you make me coffee while I go and get ingredients for breakfast the girls are coming over today,” Twilight said sheepishly while looking down at her hooves.
“Alright, but see if you can get some extra gems, please,” Spike said as twilight left the room while thawing out the coffee mug.
“Sure,” Twilight said over her shoulder as she made her way through the castle.
“Alright, let's see here,” Twilight muttered to herself as she read her list shadows of Pegasus flying above every now and again.
“Excuse me,” Twilight said to a passing Pegasus, “could you tell me why it's a tad bit colder than usual? Muffins right?” Twilight said as she came to a stop while Muffins nodded.
“Not so sure princess, could be some everfree clouds messing up the scheduled sunny day. But don't worry princess, the Pegasus team will have it sorted out in a jiffy,” Muffins said, her wings creating a small breeze
“Well thanks for that, I've gotta go now I will see you around muffin,” Twilight said as she began to move away from Muffins and towards the town square.
“Oh before you go, princess,” Muffins said as she flew in front of Twilight creating a small dust cloud around them.
“Yes, what can I do for you?” Twilight inquired stopping once again.
“It's just there's this really weird creature in town, don't worry he's harmless, but he said he is looking for a princess, he could be a diplomat but he looks like a king? Never mind but he could be from a foreign nation?” Muffins said looking Twilight in the eyes while one of her golden eyes decided to wander to the right.
“That's interesting, what's he look like?” Twilight inquired as she sat down on the dirt path to make herself comfortable while lining to Muffins.
“Well he walks on two hooves and wears a blue robe and has a gold crown with three rubies encrusted on it, he also has a really big white mane and beard, makes him look real old too.” Muffins said as she landed on the ground in front of Twilight.
“That's really interesting, I am assuming he is bipedal if that's what you meant by him walking on two hooves but anyway I have to go get my groceries if you see him tell him to go to my castle and I will have a chat with him. See you around Muffins,” Twilight said as she dusted herself off to continue down the road.
“No problem Princess-” Muffins reply was cut off as she face-planted into the bottom of a stray cloud while she flew upwards.
“Are you alright Muffins,” Twilight said as she continued to town, still a tad bit chilly from the weather.
“Yeah, see you later Princess,” Muffins said as she freed herself from her cloud prison, watching as Twilight continued into town.

“That will be one bit, your majesty,” Carrot Top said to Twilight as she hoofed her a bag of carrots.
“No problem, here you go,” Twilight said as she hoofed her a bit, “oh have you seen a bipedal being with blue robes and a crown on his head, Muffins said he is looking for me,” Twilight asked while levitating the carrot bag next to her.
“Why yes, yes I have, he seems a little weird but he hasn't hurt anyone he seems to just sit in the tree watching ponies go about their business, in fact, he is in that one over there,” Carrot Top pointed with her hoof towards a tree with an odd blue being with a crown and dark blue robes on.
“Wow he is kinda weird, but maybe it's a custom of his people?” Twilight asked as she watched carrot top shrug before she spoke once again
“Look he has been sitting up there for the entire day occasionally Pegasus talk to him but that's about it, he kinda creeps me out but he's not doing any harm,” Carrot Top said as she but the bit in her bit chest.
“Well, thanks for the carrots I'm going to go meet him then,” said Twilight as she trotted off towards the tree before she spread her wings and took flight.
“Oh that one looks like a princess, wait no, that other pony said they have wings as well as those pointy things, I wish I had a sandwich, sandwiches are good, ooh maybe there will be a princess of sandwiches that would be so cool,” the biped mumbled to himself holding binoculars in his hands as he looked around the light of the morning sun reflecting off his crown giving his position away to any onlooker.
“Um excuse me, but are you looking for me?” Twilight asked the strange biped, hovering in the air at the same height of his branch.
“Hmm, what, what do you want can't you see I'm busy?” The being shouted out before he looked at Twilight.
“Oh, who are you?” The biped asked his voice sounded scratchy and strained as he scratched his beard, crumbs of past food falling out of it and down to the ground.
“My name is Twilight Sparkle, what's yours?” Twilight asked as she landed on the rather large branch in front of the being.
The biped pointed to his crown repeatedly as he said: “I am the Ice King, the king of Ice, are you a Princess?” He asked looking directly at Twilight as he did so.
“Um yes I am Princess Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship,” Twilight stated holding her head high.
“Oh... Zap,” the ice king declared freezing her solid before he grabbed her frozen form and using his beard to fly off towards the north.

The Villainous Plan
A sharp groan escaped Twilight Sparkle as she found herself freezing cold, the sound of things falling over and breaking assaulted her sensitive hearing
"Wha- Where am I?" Twilight questioned once she finally opened her eyes only to find that she saw bars as if she were in a prison. Looking at the bars she found them to be reflective as if made of ice, although she was distracted by the image of herself frozen inside an ice cube with nothing but her head and half her hoof free.
In one corner of the room stood a half melted snowpony along with a lounge chair and few photos of penguins on the wall near a window, while the other side held an archway that seemed to lead into a kitchen.
"Help, somepony, anypony help. I'm stuck," Twilight screamed out as she tried to summon her magic to help her she realized that she had some strange ice on her horn stopping her magic from leaving.
"What's going on, can somepony hear me?" Twilight asked to the bars of her cage, her prone reflection taunting her as she tried to remember how she got here.
"Wait a second, I remember walking to the market, talking to Muffins, and then Carrot- the Ice king!" Twilight exclaimed in shock, how was it possible for him to use magic, he hasn't got a horn, the horn is the only known way to use direct magic.
"Only if I had my notes, I could research this phenomenon and- Not now, I need to get out of this first," Twilight reasoned with herself.
"Hello, Miss Princess Twilight," Came a scratchy voice, who revealed himself to be the Ice King as he walked into the main room, his blue robe full of unidentifiable stains flowed behind him as he moved toward's Twilight who looked at him angrily through the bars in her prison.
"Let me out of here Ice King, you won't get away with this, but if you let me out we will go easy on you," Twilight stated irritation in her voice, confidence saturated her frozen form gained from years of defeating evil villains.
"What no, if I let you out then you will leave, I need a princess so I can marry one," The Ice King started losing focus on Twilight as he mentioned princess, "OK you obviously have some emotional problems so how about you tell me about them and then that will help you move on so you can marry me," The Ice King offered.
"What no, and I don't have emotional baggage," Twilight said as her irritation turned into anger, trying to flare her wings only reminded her that she was completely immobile.
"Denial is the first step, I'm here for you baby," the ice king offered symphony saturated his voice as he approached the bars of the prison.
"Obviously he has some plan in order to... do something, argh I don't even know what he wants!" Twilight thought fruitlessly for an idea to get out once again trying to reach for her magic only to find it blocked.
"You want a sandwich Princess, I can make a mean sandwich, oh and then you can help me find another princess." The Ice King exclaimed happily as he flew back into the kitchen with his beard.
"Wait what, how is that even possible," Twilight wondered as she watched the Ice King fly back into the room with two sandwiches in his hands.
"Hey why do you want to ponynap another princess," Twilight shouted as she finished processing his words, the ice king looked at her funny as he handed her a sandwich, she gave him a blatant look and wiggles her foreleg at him.
"Oh right, here. ICE TABLE." The Ice king exclaimed as he used a beam of ice to create an entire table made of ice. Surprising twilight at how well it was made along with decorations and how the table ended about half an inch from her mouth.
"I hope you like the sandwich all I had was mayonnaise and tomato," the Ice King stated as he places the mayo and tomato sandwich on the table, mayonnaise flowed out of it like puss and the bread looked stale and old, Twilight, disgusted with the 'not' sandwich tried to turn her nose up, only to be reminded of her predicament.
"I have so many questions for you, oh okay so what do you normally do." The King asked Twilight as he used his powers to create an ice chair to sit down in.
Twilight looked at the sandwich with distaste but her stomach overpowered her sense of distrust and ate the sandwich.
"How was it, was it bad. It was bad wasn't it, I'm sorry I'll go get some better sandwich's," the ice king started but before he could rise from his seat Twilight interrupted him.
"No, it's okay, just tell me what do you want," Twilight asked him eyeing him supposedly.
"Um, I always wanted a friendship bracelet I made a lot of them, but most of my friends don't do much, he pointed over to a half melted snowpony with a band of ice around its hoof.
"What do you want from me!" Twilight shouted confusion evident on her face, she can understand Nightmare Moon, Discord, Tirek even Chrysalis but for the life of her she can't figure this one out.
"I want you to marry me, but I don't want to make the wrong choice, so I need to find more princesses, so can you tell me about your week and then tell me where to find more princesses, or are you the only one?" The ice king said oblivious to Twilight's confusion.
"Fine I'll tell you about my life, then will you release me I'm cold!" Twilight mumbled as she searched her memories with her friends before speaking.
"Yes wonderful, we are going to be the best of friends," The Ice King exclaimed, his maddening laugh echoing off the walls.
"Sure? Well last Monday my friends and I..." Twilight trailed off telling the Ice King about her week while she worked on getting her magic past the ice on her horn.

Earlier
"There all done," Spike said to himself after a tedious hour of melting ice from the coffee mug without melting the mug itself.
"Twilight should be back by now, I'm going to go find her," Spike stated to the chair near the kitchen table.
As spike walked towards the market he noticed something odd well normal but odd everywhere else, ponies were panicking like crazy shout something about ponynaping and Twilight.
"Twilight," Spike shouted out to the crowd, who once they noticed him all ran towards him, once spike saw this he braced himself for the worst.
"Spike you gotta help, Princess Twilight was ponynapped by a bearded diamond dog king who can fly with his bearded, oh and he has ice magic. Please spike you gotta help us," The crowd of miscellaneous ponies all asking for him to help, so with a new-found confidence masking his worry about the new super villain he took some parchment and quill from a pink pony who for some reason had it on them and started writing a letter.

The Villainous Prison
Twilight was tired, nay exhausted. She had planned to figure a way by boring the Ice King to sleep by moving the conversation onto 'egghead' stuff as rainbow dash would say. Unfortunately, the Ice King just keeps nodding to her lecture, she even quizzed him on what she said and he repeated it exactly. Needless to say, though her mouth was dry and her eyes drooping as she recounted the events of what she went through with pinky pie and her 'pinky' sense.
"Wow, you are really deep Twi Twi, wish I had a memory as good as you do. Then I would be able to have better food around, when I go and get food out of those metal food boxes outside of the ponies homes in the tall gray box place, I forget what I went there for," The Ice King recited.
After he melted the ice around her body excluding the ice on her horn, claiming that his crown said it would be a bad idea.
"So Twi Twi, I'm going to go and get some more refreshments I have the-" Twilight cut the Ice King off before he continued into his usual rants. "Please stop calling me that, but Ice King?" she asked in a tired tone, "what, what is it CAN'T you see I'M BUSY WITH MY NEW FRIEND!" he shouted.
"I'm really tired, I need to sleep, Is that alright? I can keep telling you stories tomorrow," Twilight offered, ignoring the quirk of the Ice King talking to this 'Gunter' as he occasionally mentioned him whilst she gained his trust. She yawned before continuing, "It's not like I'm going anywhere, I'll still be here. Maybe I can show you my place sometime," Twilight bargained, allowing a small smile to grace her face as she stretched her sore wings and back.
"W- Well I suppose, I need to rest my Wizard eyes anyway, Wait I know just what to do, while you sleep I shall be in the Writing Room if you need me... okay bye," the Ice King left dramatically flying into one of the many stairways before his blue glow of magic disappeared. Twilight did not even bother to mention that she wouldn't be able to get out of the prison to find him if it did its job.
"I know I should use this time to get out, my friends are probably worried sick, but I think a small nap should be alright then I can get out of here," Twilight mumbled to herself as she paced in her cell, her tired mind going over the information she had collected from her captor.
Groaning Twilight slumped into a small bed of hay near a dog bowl filled with candy (The Ice King said that he didn't know what ponies ate so he used candy, as in his words 'Anything can eat candy'), slowly but surely Twilights mind slowed down until she went into a dreamless sleep, before she entered sleep loving embraced she realised she could let Luna know that she was alright and about to escape.

Earlier with Spike
"Come on, Come on," Spike muttered, pacing much like Twilight. As spike paced, Rarity was packing bags for the journey she planned to go on to save Twilight. He looked towards his friend's, Pinkie pie was strangely quite yet still bouncing just this time it made no noise, not even when she hit the ground, Fluttershy seemed to be meditating, he had noticed that she had become friends with Zecora and started meditating to ease her fears. Rainbow Dash was in the air kicking the clouds like no tomorrow as she said quite passionately that she needed practice kicking butt before she kicked the magic out of Twilights Ponynapper, Applejack had tried to ease Spikes nerves but to no success, as he sent the letter to Celestia in the morning, yet still there was no reply even now at sundown.
"Don't worry Spike we will get her back, she is probably kicking them Diamond Dogs around like playthings," Rainbow Dash boosted, as she landed on the gravel path next to spike wrapping a wing around him, even though she herself was quite worried, she trusted Twilight's ability to defend herself.
Spike suddenly breaths fire in a slow controlled manner, unlike his normal belch, after Rarity said to him that it was ungentle-colt like he began to try and control the urge better and as a result, he now is able to slowly breathe fire out as it creates the scroll in a slower but more controlled way.
"Dear Spike. This is most distressing. Sorry about the late reply, I was in morning court and I was unable to read the letter as lord Money Pouch was insistent that I double check his proposal even after I initially declined. I know not of the being you described but I shall send some of my personal Solar Guard to arrange a search and find party, we know not of what the as you put it 'Flying bearded weirdo diamond dog king' wants with Princess Twilight, but rest assured, we will find her and punish the perpetrator accordingly. Luna said that she will help search for her in the Dream realm tonight. You should get some rest, " Spike read with ease it was, in fact, it was the most well-written letter he had ever laid eyes upon
"Well, at least we can help the search party, I know your worried spike but you seem even more shaken up about that letter dear?" Rarity asked as she left her bag on a small ground blanket as to not get them dirty.
"We should wait for the search party, the princess didn't specifically say we shouldn't search but she implied it with her search party and her wording, we should wait until morning then we can ask if we can help with the search," Spike stated, there wasn't much they could really do at the moment but upon spikes reasoning and stubbornness they eventually decided to follow his advice, with their own responses of course Rainbow Dash was the least pleased with this course of action but with the extra time to train she yielded and returned home.
Spike sighed as he left the market area, Twilight was on his mind constantly, was she was okay, is she hurt the normal things to be thinking about this situation. In the end, he couldn't do anything he and he Isn't alright with this, Twilight had raised him since he hatched and he can't even protect her from stupid beard flying canines.

"Psst, psst, hey Twilight," The Ice King whispered to the sleeping form of Twilight Sparkle.
"I Finished my new fan fiction, and I remember you were able to recite the entire dictionary yesterday, so you must be smart, so can you proofread it?" The i
"Mhmms, Not now pinky I had a late night studying," Twilight mumbled, her sleep-addled mind not processing anything.
"Wha, oh ICE KING? I thought that- I thought that was a sleep deprived dream or hallucination" Twilights eyes were wide open now as she tried to bolt up from her sleeping position leaning on the wall she hadn't realized her horn was lodged in the wall, a small ball of ice still attached to it.
"Oh, thanks, Twi Twi, I always knew I was a dreamboat but to actually hear someone else say it... Well, it's... Nice? Oh and here, I got you a sleeping bag, I knew I'd forgotten something last night but you gave me so much material for my new fanfiction series," The Ice King ranted on for a while as he laid out the sleeping bag, once he had done so he pulled out a small picknick blanket from his beard and patted the spot next to him.
Twilight groaned as she dragged herself over, unsure what would happen if she refused the unstable beings request, she quickly looked over the blanket to see an assortment of various picnic baskets with different food and treats.
"Did you steal any of this?" Twilight questioned absently as she picked up a daisy sandwich. Absent-mindedly forgetting the I've king as a threat.
"HOW DARE YOU, I MADE THIS PICNIC MYSELF, WITH THE INGREDIENTS THAT I STOLE." he shouted, his face etched with rage and magic flaring. Before he started to laugh manically. He only calmed down after a few minutes and picked up a bottle of mayonnaise with the name 'Pinkie Pie' printed on the side.
"Okay..." Twilight whimpered as she pulled her ears flat against her head. His teeth were much sharper and serrated than what should be possible, yet she was also sure that he had flat teeth before, much like herself.
"Did... Did you want to go find some more princesses after this... ah, lovly picnic?" Twilight asked timidly her hoof drawing circles on the ground, she couldn't think straight after his erratic behavior, she has subdued her inquisitive nature so to keep on his good side, and her body was tired and sore, she was already feeling a bit queasy from the sandwich the day before and was still parched. Her frustration at being unable to remove simple ice from her horn also didn't help matters, perhaps there is another method to remove it, like forcing magical energy to overload the block?
"Ah, ha... Yes then I will have a better selection to choose from, but perhaps you would do... Maybe, I shall have to see my options first." The Mad King spoke with confidence before he started to muddle to himself.
"Ah, could I have some water please?" Twilight asked her voice held tension from the lack of attention to her body's requirements.
The Ice king immediately nodded his head and jumped up to run towards the kitchen, in his haste his crown fell from his head and clunked to the floor.
"Heh, Woopies I can't just leave the source of my ice in the middle of the floor what would Marcy say? such a worry wort that... ah. What was I saying? Right, crown." The Kings voice and tone where so confident yet confused at the same time, perhaps his laps in memory were common, Twilight was unable to tell, but she did pick up that the crown seems to be a focus or source of magic power, why was he so casual about it, perhaps he had complete confidence that his power over her was absolute?
Twilight took a glance at the king as he flew toward what she assumed was the kitchen. He smacked face first right next to the open archway, his crown falling of his head and rolling away as he started to chase after it. He consistentally triped over his own robe and fell as he followed the rolling crown only to accidentally kick it away as he over estimated the distance between his feet and the crown.
Twilight wasn't even sure how this being seemed so threatening before and yet now he seemed and looked helpless as he started crying while running after his crown.
After about five minutes of him chasing his crown he finaly caught it by corning it in a wall. he placed it back on his head and turned to look at Twilight.
"Ah, sorry about that, I'll just... stay out of your way for now. Oh right water." He fiddled around with his fingers making wierd jestures before he created water in the middle of the air and place it next to twilight.
Looking expectentally at the captured alicorn, still keeping his figures moving a small amount to adjest his control of the water.
"Well? are you going to drink?" The disturbingly normal statment broke twilghts deep thought process before she sipped the ball of floating water until she was sated. Nodding at him in return he stoped his fingure movment and let the water splash on her before he flew up the stairs.
Shivering from the cold, Twilight started to try and make a few plans and figure out the odd behavoir of the being. So she starts to read his fanfiction, Twilight was still weirded out about it yet also quite flattered.

Celestia was still very confused about what Spike told her in the letter. It seems as though a new villain figured out how to critically weaken Equestria's main defense. Admittedly she was ashamed that it was a few civilians with almost no guards to protect them, she planned to fix that once this mess was all sorted out.
Beings such as what was described to her would only ponynap for a few reasons. One, to ransom the crown, which was unlikely considering a diamond dogs intellect. Two they thought that an alicorn would make a good working in their mines, which would also be quite a mistake considering just how powerful Twilight was, even amongst other alicorns Twilight is still considered above average in magic alone, yet also severely underperforming in the physical side of things.
Thus the fact that Twilght had not teleported back here indicated at a worse situation, her captures had access to anti-magic substances. Thus she was going to send out some solar guards to protect the remaining bearers in case of another ponynapping and set up a search party. Celestia knew that Luna would help in any way possible so she quickly sent a note to ask Luna explaining the situation and to search for Twilight's Dreams and get information on her location, anything will be useful at this point.
And with this in mind she constructed her reply letter to Spike, A cold fury set upon her mind as she wrote the letter, ignoring the fact that she has stopped moving the sun across the sky.

Yes I know there is an astonishing amount of sentence structural errors and such but I don't actually Know HOW to correct them, they read alright but they don't work as I mean them to.
Hopefully, it still gets the meaning across, I would like an editor but I also don't write much and I have virtually no communication skills so I often lack when replying to requests. As such you have my most sincere apologies, which basically amounts to a text message four days late.
