Tears of Harmony

~~Once upon a time, in the majestic Empire of Equestria~~

I wonder if anypony will ever read these words. It is my earnest hope that they don't, if only to spare themselves the knowledge of the things I did to effect the change I seek. I'm sure many would call me a monster, claim that I am no better than the thing I seek to destroy. They would be wrong. I believe, truly, in my heart of hearts, that what I did was justified.

Allow me to explain.

My name is Flurry Heart. Five years ago I set in motion a series of events that will one day lead to me challenging the most powerful empire in the history of our planet. One that spans several solar systems across our universe. I write this account mere days after the events described within ended. I write this account to help remind me of why I am doing this, how I came to be in the position I am in now, and to put into context the full scope of the things I did to get to this point. There's no going back, and even if there was I wouldn't. I couldn't. To do so would be a betrayal of the memory of those who showed me the truth, and a betrayal of the one thing we all swore to help return to Equestria. A thing it has since long forgotten.
