A Different World

Ace cantered out his door and to the square. Everypony there seemed to not be speaking a coherent language.

He trotted to twilight's house to clarify why.

He knocked on the door, Spike answered it.

"Hej, Ace hvordan laver du?" He asked.

"What?" Ace asked, dazed.

"Jeg sagde, hvordan har du det?" He said, a slight annoyed tone in his voice.

"Sorry, I don't understand." He said.

"Twilight, kom hjælpe mig med Ace."

"I... Uh..." Ace stuttered.

"Hvad er problemet, Spike?" She inquired.

"I still don't understand, is this some sort of prank?" Ace asked, mildly annoyed.

"Åh, jeg ser, hvad der er galt. Ace synes at tale nogle døde sprog." She said this as if she had come to a conclusion.

She let Ace in and sat him down in front of a book titled 'DØDE SPROG'

She opened it, turned a few pages and pointed to one of many listed. It read 'EQUESTRIAN.'

She attempted to speak it, although with a heavy accent.

"Doo yue uhndurstahnd meh naow?" She almost had a kind of drawl.

"B-barley, yes." He said quietly.
