Twilight Pov

"I hope Nova forgives me, I feel like dragon shit, why did I do this" I muttered to myself. Then I heard a knock at the door. "Come in, it isn't locked" I said half heartedly. I saw Rainbow Dash hover herself inside and land almost silently.

"Hey Twi, how's it going" Rainbow said in a comforting tone, "Don't keep heating yourself up about Nova, you made a mistake, so what. I make mistakes all the time, no biggie."

"Have YOUR mistakes caused a pony to be mentally scarred for life, or caused mental breakdowns!? HUH!? My "mistake" caused its victim to be trapped in our world, friendless, and angry, and I'm the only one to blame."

"I thought Nova was taking it pretty well, what happened?" Rainbow asked me, confused.

"I got a letter today that Nova had a mental breakdown during a combat skill assessment, she apparently remembered something about her old life and lost it," I said dejectedly.

"So she locked herself in her room crying?" Rainbow probed more.

"You forget that she used to be male, and from another dimension, she didn't just run off crying, no....she ran onto a gun and archery range in a blind rage while the trainees were practicing, she would be dead right now if it wasn't for her being an alicorn, the only reason she stopped is because Celestia used one of my failsafes."

"But no one's hurt right?" she continued her probing

"NO, don't you get it, Nova isn't alright, I caused her to do this, I deserve to beat myself up about it, I. FUCKED. UP...... sorry for yelling at you, I'm just...just so ...Furious at myself for doing that, and there isn't a thing I can do about it," I almost screamed.

"Oh,...ohh, I'm sooo sorry Twi, I didn't mean to go that far" rainbow apologized. She quietly left and shut the door. I sat in silence for a minute or so before doing anything.

"Spike....Take a note."

"Ok " spike replied quietly, he hadn't said much since I read the letter, he was probably worried sick about everything going on.

Dear Nova,

I, Princess Twilight Sparkle, issue you a formal apology on my behalf, I am deeply sorry about your abduction, and any other mistreatment I have caused you, I was in the wrong. Accept this apology if you want, but feel free to reject it, I understand.

"Ok Spike, send it off" spike shot out a lick of flame and the letter was gone.
