That night, the three stallions were seen returning to the cabin and they all seemed pleasantly surprised, while Mocha Jon himself did look sore, the rest seemed pleased with themselves.

“Dude did ya see yourself when ya had to ride the logs down the river? I thought you were gonna fall all into the river!” Big Mac said in admiration as he bumped him on the shoulder with his hoof affectionately… Though Mocha didn’t seem to like that very much…

“Hey thanks bud, it wasn’t easy but… OUCH!!!” He said as he started panting in pain, he was clearly sore from working that hard. “Okay… I think I’m just gonna go grab an ice pack and maybe a carton of ice cream and a box of popsicles before bed.” Shining Armor and Big initially looked pleased but then looked a little annoyed as they started to follow him inside.

“You know it’s great that he’s embracing the woodspony lifestyle and all but I still think it’s a bad idea to mix his appetite with a lumberjack’s…” Shining sighed as he went inside.

Woody himself just kept a smug look on his face as Big Mac turned around and saw him plop down on the porch swing. “Hehe don’t worry about the food, I got my methods…” He chuckled a little, “Besides, if we could turn a weak and annoying pony like that, then it means our lifestyle is obviously the best one.” Big Mac joined him on the porch swing.

“Ya know, I’m happy to do whatever ya say and kidnap innocent ponies and turn them into smelly pets, but even I can admit it’s kinda mean to do…” Big Mac looked down a little as he admitted that, though Woody didn’t seem to mind.

As the stallion stretched his arms and put one on Big Mac’s shoulders, making sure to place his pits properly, “Ya know, that’s why I like ya Stinky Boots!”

Big Mac looked over in confusion, as he remembered what happened when Shining Armor said he felt guilty, “Eeyup?”

“Of course, you’re always trying to think of ya friends, I know I have to take some drastic measures and all, but it’s only because I like y’all so much, I don’t want to lose anypony ever again…” He said as he sighed and looked down.

Big Mac hasn’t seen this side of this lumberjack before, “Ponies left ya before? How come? You’re nice, welcoming, strong, hard workin’, and ya smell like a bull in a hot barn, I wouldn’t ever want to leave anypony like that.” He said as he intentionally snuck a small whiff of Woody’s pit.

“Eh I don’t like talkin’ ‘bout it, it happened many moons ago, long before ya was born.” He said as he looked up at the moon, “My friends came to the Everfree long ago, back when lumberjacks were respected and appreciated for our hard work. At first it was great, we worked hard, learned a lot about the mystical woods, and we really bonded in the cabin.”

Big Mac looked inside briefly as he noticed Shining Armor was starting what looked like an eating contest with Mocha Jon, “If there’s nothing left for me I will eat him…” He whispered to himself before returning his attention to Woody, “Ya had friends before us?”

“Eeyup…!” He responded, playfully mocking Big Mac’s mannerisms, “We really loved it out here, but as times advanced, they started aspiring to things they thought would be better, they wanted to go to college and stuff, they tried to make me come with ‘em to the city, but I couldn’t leave the lumberjack life, loved it too much.” He said as he stood up and stretch his back until it popped. “They left me alone out here and I made a vow to myself never to change, and the magic of the Everfree gave me the power to have complete control of my life and the lives of any stallion I meet, and sense I never got to see my friends again, I knew my destiny…”

Big Mac scratched the back of his mane as he sighed, “Kinda like how I cain’t never see my sisters again…”

Woody looked over and he almost looked compassionate and even empathetic to what Big Mac said, almost even a little guilty, “Ya know Stinky Boots, as much as I like havin’ Sweat Stain and that small horned unicorn around, I think ya probably understand me the most, heck I probably didn’t even need to hypnotize ya when we met!” He jokingly said as he looked Big Mac in the eyes, seeing him more than just a musk pet.

Big Mac grinned, “Maybe, but I kinda prefer it the way ya did, this way I can enjoy your smell after our hard day’s work even more, and I know ya love ya musk fetishes! Plus I really like that spell ya put on your old boots that changed my dumb old hooves into what they are now!” He chuckled back, thinking that he could understand him on a non manipulated level now.

“Ya know Stinky Boots, that sock thing seemed to work wonders, maybe one more night and we could finally have that weak stallion just like you and Sweat Stain.” Woody said enticingly as Big Mac initially looked excited, but something negative seemed to catch his attention…

“Uh… Master…” He said as he pointed behind Woody and exposed what looked like a vicious raccoon chattering and preparing to lunge at the woodspony. “Look out!!!” He said in panic with a cartoonishly over the top fashion.

Woody turned around and saw the vicious coon and just chuckled, “Ah farmers, they never know how to deal with critters, just think they’re all pests.” He said as he nonchalantly walked over to the raccoon and lifted his arm and lowered his pit to the animal.

The scene briefly changed to Shining Armor and Mocha Jon standing by the door and Mocha Jon was preparing to open it, “Sorry bud, you know the rules, loser has to sleep on the porch swing!” He said as he pointed out and peeked out, surprised to see Woody lowering his arm like that.

Woody then picked up the raccoon and shoved him right under his arm, “Hehe that’s it fella…” He said as he took him out instantly, and the raccoon’s eyes seemed to be overtaken with swirls, “See Stinky Boots, animals’ noses are easier to trick than ours.” He said, oblivious to Mocha Jon looking over. “Now little fella, I know ya think you’re some mean little bandit with that black mask, but when I tap my boot, you’ll just be a cute little chicken… Owned by that big red stallion over there…” He said as he placed the animal back on the ground, “Figured you might like a little momento of your time on the farm Stinky Boots.” He said as Big Mac got up and walked towards the two.

“Aw, mighty kind of ya Master!” Big Mac said as Woody tapped his boot on the ground and the raccoon in a silly and cartoony fashion began making imitation chicken sounds despite the vocal chords limiting his sounds. Big Mac grinned and picked up the hypnotized animal with glee, “So cute, thanks for the gift Master!” The two stallions hugged affectionately… However Mocha Jon just looked befuddled as he slowly and quietly stepped back and closed the door.

“Uh… Uh… Do you have any idea what just happened out there man…?” He asked, understandably disturbed by what he saw.

Shining Armor just looked down and sighed in response, “I think I know what’s going on…”

“Care to explain then?”

“Um hum…” He said as he looked up and his expression changed to anger and envy, “Stinky Boots got a dog, a chicken, and a raccoon! Why is he Master’s favorite!?” He said as he impulsively threw a lumberjack ax across the room.

Mocha Jon just rolled his eyes in response, “Right… Why didn’t I think of that…? We better go down to the poll and place our bet while we have the chance...” He sarcastically added.
