Twilight was in her room while she read through old letters she had. She threw most of them away as they were cluttering up spaces a bit. She sighed as the letters should have been thrown away long before that day. Soon she was done and went to sit down from her work. Soon she had sat down and was trying to regain her breath from her hard work.
There was a knock on her door. She looked over at her door. She then got up and went over to her door and then opened it. Pinkie Pie was smiling at Twilight. She hugged her immediately. Twilight was shocked for a few seconds but smiled and hugged Pinkie Pie back. They stayed like that for a few seconds and then pulled away from the hug and looked at eachother.
Twilight allowed Pinkie to come into her library which Pinkie Pie did so. Pinkie Pie walked to the living room and sat down while Twilight closed her door and went over to Pinkie Pie. She sat down by her as she wondered why Pinkie Pie was at her place and what Pinkie Pie wanted. They both started talking to eachother.
"How are you doing Pinkie Pie?" Twilight asked her best friend. Pinkie looked off to the side as she was unsure of how to talk to Twilight of what she wanted to talk about. Twilight noticed that Pinkie wasn't being her cheerful self. She wanted to know if there was something wrong that was bothering her good friend as she became worried for Pinkie Pie.
"Twilight I need to be very honest with you. I need to tell you...a concern that I have about myself...." Pinkie told Twilight in a nervous voice. She was scared but she needed to tell Twilight about her problem. Twilight listened closely to her friend and nodded while she responded to Pinkie Pie as she didn't want her friend to be nervous when speaking to her.
"Just tell me about what you need help with Pinkie Pie. I'll help you anyway I can. You don't need to be nervous. Just say what's on your mind." She told her friend in a soft voice. Pinkie Pie looked away as Twilight waited for her friend to tell her the concern that she had. Pinkie Pie then looked back at Twilight and then gulped and spoke to her best friend.
"I know I have a problem with eating junk food....it's not healthy for me and I do get sick from time to time for eating so much sweets. I should be eating more healthy food and I should cut down on the sweets but I always ignored the issue until now. I need help Twilight." Pinkie said as she started to tear up.
Twilight was shocked that her friend acknowledged a problem that she has had for a long time. She smiled at Pinkie as she was glad that her friend was finally taking responsibility for her eating habits. Twilight thought on how to respond and spoke to her friend carefully about her concern about eating to much junk food.
"It's alright Pinkie. You shouldn't be ashamed of a problem you have. I'm proud of you for acknowledging your health and I'll be blunt but nice when I say this...you do need help Pinkie you...do eat a lot....of junk food. But it's okay because I'll help you cut down. It's your choice if you want to cut down." Twilight said. Pinkie Pie had tears falling down her face.
"But does that mean I won't be able to have sweets anymore?!" Pinkie Pie asked as she panicked. Twilight shook her head no and responded to Pinkie Pies silly question in hopes of calming her best friend.
"You can still have sweets on some occasions yes but just not as much as you are having now. I'll help you any way I can. If you don't want my help and want to do it on your own then that's fine as well its up to you." Twilight said. Pinkie Pie thought about Twilights offer. She then spoke.
"Yes I do want your help!" Pinkie exclaimed as she hugged Twilight. Twilight hugged her back as she smiled. She patted Pinkie Pies head and pet her hair soothingly in order to calm her down. They then released the hug.
"I'll help you then. We can face your addiction together." Twilight said. Pinkie grew in concern.
"But I can still have sweets on occasion right?" Pinkie Pie asked her best friend. Twilight chuckled at Pinkies question and hugged her. They then pulled away from the hug again and Twilight responded to Pinkie Pie's concern.
"Yes you can still have sweets but you have to be careful not to have to much. If you want to get better you need to cut down. I'll help you every step of the way so don't worry about it." Twilight said. Pinkie nodded and spoke.
"Good. Thank you Twilight I appreciate it." Pinkie Pie said. Twilight nodded and responded to Pinkie as she was happy for Pinkie Pie.
"Your welcome." Twilight told her. After this Twilight started to help Pinkie Pie cut down. It was hard at first as Pinkie fell into her temptations from tome to time but as they made progress Pinkie Pie cut down a significant portion of her candy addiction. She still had candy from time to time but it was under supervision. She also was able to have decent amounts of ice cream and cake on her birthday.
Pinkie Pie hate more healthy foods as well. Pinkie Pie was grateful for Twilight helping her while Twilight was proud of Pinkie Pie for trying to be healthier.
